[COLOR=Purple][B]Cole shook the dust from her eyes and looked up horrified as Kairi ran downt he hall after Omega as a distraction. "I'm going to help him! You guys keep working!" She took off at a dead sprint, slipping the dress down off of her body to show a pair of tight spandex shorts and a sports bra, she was going to go run after the dinner, it seemed a waste to let the attire not get any attention. She kicked out of her heels and took off faster now that she was bare foot. She panted as she rounded the corner and saw the young man standing there ready to do or die. "You idiot! You could be killed!" She ran up to him seeing the blood seeping through his shirt and cursed under her breath, his eyes windened as did her's. She never used that language and wasn't used to saying it. She shook her head dissmissing it as the soul inside of her. She looked down as the gem in her wrist began to glow gently, she felt an odd need to put her palm on his shoulder and did so out of pure insticnt. She blinked as a red hot heat seared through her hand, when she pulled away, his wound was gone and sealed cleanly. "I-I don't know...I didn't...How?" He pulled her aside as a piece of rubble fell from the cieling. "Why did you come back?!" "I came to help you. Is that so bad?" "When you don't know what your doing? Yes!" "Well deal with it! I'm here to help wether you like it or not shrimp!" She looked up as Omega tore through another portion of the house. "We have to do something...get him away from here or something." "You think?" "Back off." She looked over at him and sighed as she realized that he saw what she saw..she was worthless. And at the moment everyone knew it.[/B][/COLOR]

[COLOR=Purple][B]Mayhony smiled decideing it was time for some fun, she stopped and seemed to dissapere. She smiled as she slunk in the shadows of the trees, not maiking a sound, she jumped up into a tree, not disturnbing a leaf or making any noise. SHe dropped down 50 feet away from where they were all looking around for her. She let out a loud whistle and smiled as their jaws dropped. Tifa grabbed ehr arm. "How did you do that?" "It's a skill you'll learn and or hone while your here. Now Vahn, an answer to your qeustion, where are we going? We're going through here. You'll be paried up with your room mates. If you don't have one, Your stuck with the other that doesnt have one. Tifa, you and nature boy are paired up." She smiled and nodded to everyone, you go through here I nkow the only way sround and I won't be moving till you all leave so I suggest you go through." Vahn looked at her. "Around?" "I rigged this place with traps. It's my traing area. Now it's your test. Get through alive and you'll see where we're going." They all nodded and paird off settting out into the woods. She looked back and up at Nanashi, her mind whiling. "You can come with me, I want to talk to you anyways now that we're out of ear shot of the twerps and wanna be know it alls." She took a small path that was well hidden two miles up the road. With in minustes she arrived at a small building that was reinforced steel, the computer mainframe was difficult and nearly impossible to crakc unless you were really good. Once inside she took a handful of ribbons and tied them around her wiast. "Need to see just how good these buggers are." She flipped on her computer and watched as each pair began to make their way through the trap infested woods. "When they get here they have to catch me and take a ribbon, if they don't they don't get dinner and they have to spar me first tomarrow morning, ontop of all that, they don't get a shower." [COLOR=Purple][B]Cole looked down at the food infront of her and figeted with a strand of hair on her shoulder. "This is an awful lot of trouble to make this. I know it takes a bit of time" She looked down at the small lamb roast on her plate, she cut into it and smiled in approval as the meat cut soft and clean like butter, the inside pink and juicey. She took a small bite and closed her eyes smileing fully as the meat mealted in her mouth. "My goodness, this is absolutly delicious." The cook in the corner bowed low. "Thank you Ma'am." She inclined her head in return and continued her meal. She Continued to eat and noticed under the lamb that there was a array of mixed vegetables steamed in what tasted like lemon pepper, she smiled in appreciation and ate them slowly and in small bites so she looked proper. Though truth be told, living on her own this was the best meal she had had in a long while, she was hungry, but did not want to look like, in simple terms, a pig. She picked up her glass and blinked as the butler filled it with wine almost instantly.She shook her head. "I-I'm sorry. I don't drink." "What may I get for you then Ms. Blue?" "Please, no need for that, just Cole. Please." "Ms. Cole?" She sighed and looked back up at the waiting butler. "Just ice water please." He nodded and left comeing back with a clear galss of cold ice water. "Thank you very much." She took a sip and smiled as it cooled her mouth off cleaning her palte for the next dish. She looked up at the man called Kyne and let her eyes take him all in. She knew in her heart that she was familiar with him, it was scary. She continued to watch him and thought that he was colder and more menacening looking than her brother. But there was something about him that she knew, she knew. She shook her head and looked back at him, he was looking at her as well. His eyes widened slightly, his face staying in that straight, dark scowl though. He looked away quickly and went back to his meal. She looked down as more of the food was placed on her plate.[/B][/COLOR]

[COLOR=Purple][B]OMG OMG OMG! I am a band geek and always will be! I was in band all through my high school years till the day I graduated! I played in Jazz, I played in marching, concert, symphonic. I play TRUMPET! Trumpets RULE! I can play like one or two scaled on a flute. But thats about it. lol. I dont have a band of my own and probaobly never will, but thats okay. I know I'm a band geek cause even though I'm out of school and everything I still practice everyday, twice a day for 3 hours each time. I love to sight read, though I'm not good at it, I like to do that and get good at it. I hope to get into band when I get into college. I also know I'm a band geek, cause everytime I see Drum Line, I cry at the end...LOL And the best school days are when the football games were that night cause I knew I was gonna be out on the feild playing. I loved it. It was such a rush. I miss it.[/B][/COLOR]

[COLOR=Purple][B]Emi fely the last Bull hit the ground as her and Ajack hit it with their laser cannons. "This is bullshit! We're getting pounded out here!' She screamed she felt something hit her from the left side and turned to see the Raptor turn and head back for another attck, this time headed for Ajack. "Ajack , het the hell out of here, your no match for this thing with your boosters off line." "Emi I won't-" "Look, you stay here and there's a good chance BOTH of us are gonna her hurt, you go now and you can come back and get me later. Just do it please?" Before he could answer she threw the controls forwards and began to zig zag across the battle ground, pulling back on the controls she made the Fox leap right infront of the Raptor, it's jaws opening and latching onto the Raptor's face, or cokpit. She flet the Mech swing back and forth as the Raptor tried to shake her off. "Guys, get in some hits! Now!" She heard Axl on the com. "We can't we'll hit her!" Cassidy answered her. "She knows that, she's risking it to get rid of that damn thing. Just do it. Hit the Raptor that Emi has with laser caonnons, bring it down if you can!" Emi heard the Raptor schreech as the cannon fire hit it from all sides and felt her own mech being thrown around till she finally pulled the controls back and hit the ground on her side hard. "Ah! Damnit!" She moved the controls and blinked as she got nothing. "Your shitting me!" She listened carefully and cursed as she heard a loud crakleing noise. "Fuckin hell! Damn wires came loose!" She took a deep breath and unstraped her restraints and reached in her coat and pulled out a screwdriver and a wrench. "Emi what the hell are you doing?!" "I'm fixing this damn thing so I can get back out there!" "It's to dangerous, stay in your mech!" "And let you guys get pummeled and then watch as my mech gets stomped to oblivion? I think not Cassidy. It won't take me a minute, if it's anyhting like the simulator, I know exactly where to go!' "Wait! What the hell is that?" She looked on her vid screen to see small pods flying around the mechs, sparks coming from them. "What the hell?" She felt her mech respond as one buzzed away from her. "It's the base! Hell yeah!" She got her Mech back up and smiled as she saw Ajack do same. Professor Hastings came on the screen infront of them all. "It's temporairy, use it well, you all have possibly a maximum of five minutes before your mechs go back into the state they were in." Ajack nodded and she saw with a mix of excitement and pride as his boosters flashed and he was off back into the battle, she pulled the controls back and crowed loudly as she heard her favorite song come on her I-pod. She turned the volume up and tapped her foot to the beat as her fellow piolte groaned at hearing the song. Cassidy came into her helmet link. "Can't you pick a diffrent song?" "You know it's growing on you." "Cotton Eyes Joe from the Rednecks? I don't think so." "You'll live, it's my groove" She heard Ajack and Rusti chuckle and bobbed and weaved through the mechs till she stood infront of one of the biggest mechs she had ever seen, the giant Bear mech stared down at her, then let out a deafening raor shakeing the ground and the inside of her Mech. She reached over and flipped the I-pod off. "Fuck me..." She dodged as it's heavy paw came down leaveing a dent in the sand bigger then her Mech and so deep her mech would be buried in it. "Fuck me sideways..." She looked on the screen as Desh sat on teh console and looked down at what he was sitting on. "Line retraction? How in the seven hells is that supposed to help me Desh?" Cassidy came on the com again. "Who are you talking to?" "No one!" [COLOR=DarkSlateGray][I]Think Emerald. Your not stupid. The bigger they are...[/I][/COLOR] "The harder they fall." She pulled the small lever and saw a aiming device come over her right eye, she aime for the Bears back paw as it lumbered slowly towards Axl, freing she ran in a circle four or five times till she felt the line pull tight as the giant MEch tried to take a step and roared as it fell. "Yes! Time to dismember!' "She launched forward and onto the giant mech useing the Fox's razor sharp teeth and claws to rip and tear away the heavy outer armor and as soon as she saw the power grid and hit it with a quick laser hit, the whole thing takeing a total of 3 minutes. "Two minutes left..." The bear was down, and disfunctional by quick thinking. "Everyone use your rescue lines to bring them down and tangle them up, then tear the armor off and find the power grid!" Cassidy came on her line again. "Your the only one with that feature other then the air Mechs." she nodded and turned her Fox around and ran straight for the two Lion mechs headed their way,Ajack yelling in her ear. "Emi! Get back here! Emerald!" She hit one Lion on the chest with the strong magnetic line and ran behind it, it was faster then the Bear so she had to use her boosters so she could get around them quickly and stepped back as the others shot and concentrated on them. The crackle that came from them was what told Emi that the job was done. She pulled the line back and ran back to the others as they lined up, the last of the Raptors across from them, the little buzzing droids flying around them giving them alittle more time. She gripped her controls tightly and waited for them to move or Cassidy's order. The air thick with tension now that everyone knew she was serious, the I-pod switched off and forgotten.[/B][/COLOR]

[COLOR=Purple][B]Emi's evil cackle could be heard above all the commotionas she weaved in and out of all the mechs with ease, the samller Fox mech being easlily untargeted, or so Emi thought as a large Bull stood infront of her. She flicked the I-pod and smiled as Three Days Grace, Animal I have Become began to filter through the speakers. She twisted the controls and found to her glee that the Fox jumped back as the Bull stamped down on the ground snorting loudly riseing dust. She thrust the contorls forward and dashed between the legs and feet of the Bull and headed for Ajack. "I'm on the way! I'll be there as soon as possible." She screamed as a barrage of laser fire made the back legs of the Fox rise off the ground makeing the mech flip and land on it's side. She punched the button on her right grunting as the small thrusters got her back on her feet and faceing the Bull agian. "Horse humping-" Cassidy's voice came over her com. "No time for name calling" "I know I know!" She typed on the board infront of her scaneing the Bull mech onfront of her, she smiled triumphantly as she found a small weak point on the beast, it was risky, that was a given but it was worth a try. She flipped the boosters back on and went through the legs curseing as one of the horns caught her mech on the shoulder, she pushed the mech through and whooped loudly as the her mech tore through the weak armor tearing the hydralics wire to the hind legs. She turned her mech and headed for Ajack when he felt the mech shudder as lasers were concentrated on her. "Damnit!" She looked behind her and saw that the Bull she has pulled down was blasting at her she felt a slight panic take her as she realized this was going to be harder then she thought. She looked at her weapons and smiled as she saw the smoke screen, she pressed it and waited, she could hear some confused voices on her com, she looked at her radar and saw with a smile that none of her fellow piolets could be seen, it masked their signals but they could still see the enemy. She took off as quickly as she could towards Ajack and as she got there she saw him pinned by a Bull and took out the back hydralics as before and turned on a vid link to check if he was alright. "Ajack, are you alright? Are you hurt?" "No, jarred, but not harmed." If your sure. Can you get your mech up? I've bought a little time with the smoke screen." "I can try." "Well, not to pressure you or anything...but thats most likey a good idea." She heard him chuckle and saw as the Cheeta slowly got to it's feet. "You need to get back to base and get repaird. [COLOR=Purple][B]Cole looked at her self in the mirror looking back down at the Garnet in her wrist. "None of this makes any sense...And I'm scared." She took her hair down and flipped it back shakeing it out as much as possible and then takeing another look at herself in the mirror, she was wearing a form fitting dress, white with blue emborydery. She blinked as she saw a slight change in coloring to her eyes, they were darker bkue then she remembered. She shook her head slightly and slipped on her heels as a soft knock sounded at the door. She answered it with a small smile and saw a young maid looking at her. "Dinner is being served now Miss Cole." "Thank you." She straightned the dress and her hair and follwed the girl down the stairs to the dineing room and took a seat with her back to the windows. She looked up as Eve and Kyne's conversation took her attention. The falcon ever by her side nuzzled her cheek as he looked up and met her eyes, she felt her heart constrict. He looked so much like her brother it was unreal. But it couldn't be him, he had left the family when she was young. There was no possiblity that it was him. She shook her head and looked down at the dark red plate infront of her, her mind raceing.[/B][/COLOR]

He could tell by the look in her eyes that she was serious now. 'That will be useful' She looked at the stats of the others, the fastes one amoung them by far was Ajack and the Cheeta, she felt a wsh of pride and admeration go through her, she continued to look a the stats as the others finished securing the civlians like her and Ajakc had done. [B][COLOR=Purple]Cole sat at the back of the room patiently looking down at hr hands. She was aware of everyone else around her and decided that she was somewhat of a misfit. She heaved a sigh and glanced up at the window. It was a long day and things still didn't make much sense. She pulled a long strand of hair over her shoulder and bit her bottom lip as a second maid came forward and looked at her. "Sorry for the interuption and delay. Cole Blue?" She nodded and took a step forward. "Follow me please. She will see you now." Nodding she followed as she was told and entered the large room just as everyone had before her. She jumped lsightly as the door shut behind her and looked at the woman who sat smileing at her. "Dear one, do not be afraid. I am here to help you." She nodded again, not quite trusting her voice. "You are a dear one to this group for you have been chosen to house the God of Peace's sould within you." That news unlocked her vocal chords and she blinked as she heard her voice come form her throat. "God of Peace? How is that possible?" "I assure you it is dear one. Cole Blue. You are the sister to another of us here are you not?" "I don't understand?" "The God of Peace is to balance out the God of Hate. You will learn." She blinked again as she was handed a small box. "There's Zynthonite in the tips so that when you tap them together the electric charge goes through them and you have Spark Gloves. Use them wisely and well. You hit a person with those for longer then a second and you could kill them. They're quick hit weapons." Mayhony smiled and looked at him proudly. "There ya go. I'm gonna go get everyone else ready to go." "Go?" "Running. We need to warm up." She left the two to talk and ran up the stairs jumping up and rinning the bell again getting everyone up. "Let's go. She began to strap into the Mech as she heard Hastiings come into the com link. "You helmet should be there, now you'll need to get into the pod as quickly as possible." She smiled and took hr time finding the swtich to shut it off so she could look at him, no knowing that he saw her too. "Well, how much longer we have to wait Cassy?" He was hansome she would give him that but something felt off from him and she couldn't tell just what it was. She talked with him for a minute decideing that a car was alittle unorthadox in the croweded city so she setteled on a Black and Purple Kawasaki Ninja Motorcylce. She grabbed a matching helmet and reaced out to take the keys from him and shuddered as she felt pain and sickness flow through her own body. "Your dying." His head shot up looking at her and he blinked. "How do you know that?" "I just do. I am sorry." She looked at the girl behind him and made a point to make eye contact with her before speaking. "Make sure you use protection." She was out the door before wither one of them could say another word, she slid back onto the bike relshing the feeling and started it to life. She revved it and let the clutch go feeling the bike jump to life under her she let her self smile. It felt almost like flying, almost. It her first time on one by herself, she had always wanted one but her brother had never allowed it and she always insisted taht when he went on his that he take her along. But the one time he didn't was the one time that she never saw him again. The memory hurt and she pushed it back into the recceses of her mind as she passes out of the city and into the country that was only a short strech of land that was flat and was mostly made up of bird sanctuary's. The country there made her feel so safe, like nothing could touch her, bu here in the city she felt vaunerable, watched and she hated it. She felt a compelling to go there and raced back to the hotel gathering her things she strapped them to the bike and went back. She had spun around catching a glimpse of a large statue of who appered to be Star as she was ushed into the dineing area and then with a curtsy the maid left with only a few words. "Hope you make friends with them." "With who?" Her words again went on deaf ears as she turned she saw a young man, younger then her it looked like sitting at the table looking seriuous and another figure, tall and towering standing in the corner, eyes shut leaning on the wall. she ducked as a crow went over her head to land on the man's shoulder. He looked up as she was sure the animal wa speaking to him and she sw his eyes widen as he caught sight of her. "Big Brother?" The title sounded old and unused to her own ears as she spoke them. She felt hope well up in her chest as she looked at the shadowed figure but didn't let it got o far, he was dead. That is what they had said, after they checked the bike wreck scene, he had died in the crash. Her mother and father told her so them selves, but they had never approved of how close her and Kyne had been. They did alomsot everything together. She smiled gently and decided that everything had gone pretty well, even though she hadn't been able to show off what she was made of. She shrugged her shoulders and fell back onto the bed and let her breath out and rolled onto her side and cuddled to the pillow and sighed as she felt sleep taking her and then opened her eyes slightly to look at her new room mate and propped her self up on her elbow and looked at him. "I don't have an extra bed so we have to share. Hope you don't mind Black Satin sheets. They're in all the rooms. More comfortable. And don't worry I don't move around that much when I sleep." She got a room and rode the elevator to the top and went to her room where she looked out the window. 'What now? Where do I go from here?' She turned from the sight knowing that it wasn't her fault but she hated it anyway. She turned away from the window and slumped to the floor knowing that whatever it was was to powerful for her to take care of. I just don't want a team member angry at me if I need him or her to watch my back while I'm out there." She arched an eyebrow and shrugged a feeling of familarity off as she pulled out a giant black scythe from under the bed and began to sharpen the already razor sharp edge to an even deadlier point. She racked her thoughts of who this man could be since he had yet to tell her and she couldn't see his face to tell. She was lost but part of her, after seeing what he could do in the bar, was glad he was on her side.[/COLOR][/B]

[B][COLOR=Purple]Emi rushed forwards and took hold of the man's arm and pulled on his sleeve getting his attention. "Please, sir he didn't start it! It was the others. He was helping me we're team mates." "The title sounded dry on her own tounge but she didn't show it. The man studided her face and saw that brusies starting to come up on her arms and nodded to the security who let Ajack up with little or no sympathy, she scowled at them harshly and helped him to his feet gently. "Are you alright Ajack?" "I'm fine. Thank you." "Not a problem, you helped me, it's only fair." She smiled and let him lean on her as he regained his blance. She looked up at him and fished in his pockets for his glasses and slipped them back on his face for him. A slight smile reached his lips as she walked over to a table and put him in a chair. "I'll be right back I promise." He nodded and she took two stpes turned and leaned down kissing his cheek smileing and took off at a swift jog over to Trysten and as she passes swiped Ajakc's shirt from around his waist and then walked over grabbing her own shirt. She made her way back to the table to find Ajack with his hand on his cheek and smiled, he striaghtened as she took his hand again and helped him out of the hanger. "Why are we leaving?" "To much drama for my tastes now and the food there really wasn't all that great. Besides, I make a mean chicken salad sandwhich. Not only that I want to look at your arm." He nodded and followed her as she led the way never letting go of his hand. Unlocking the door she turned on the lights and led him to the couch where he sat down and listened as she fished around for the first aid kit. Finding it she walked over and sat infront of him looking at the cut on his arm. "It's not to bad but I think it needs cleaned just in case. Gods only know what those guys have on those blades. Makes me sick to think." She smiled and put a little peroxide on a small cotton ball and started to press it to the wound slowly making sure to keep him comfotable above everything. She wiped it clean and then put alchohol on it makeing him jump as it burned, she leaned forward and blew on it to ease the slightl sting. Finishing she wrapped it cleanly and gently her hands lingering slightly on his arm as she tied the bandage off. "There, good as new." She stood and made her way to the kitchen. "I noticed you didn't eat anything. You want one?" Wether he would say yes or no she didn't really cae she began to assemble a sandwhich for him as well, toasting the bread in a frying pan with a little butter and parsley she added cheese and the freshly made chicken salad to the bread and then palted it with some plain chips. Handing one to him she smiled and began to eat her's. "I don't remember any of this in the common room Emi, how did you know it was all here?" "I know my way around a kitchen. If I hadn't made it here then I was gonna go into cooking. It's one of my passions.The other is the rush that I always have comeing out of the simulator, I just wnna run till I can't anymore. But when I was younger, I messed my knee up pretty bad so I can only run for as long as it lets me. I suppose we all have out little problems though." She smiled and put a glass of water in his hand. "Here take a drink." She watched as he did so and then too the glass from him setting it on the table. She looked at him and smiled. "Ajack, can I ask you something?" "If I say no it never stopped you before." "So true." "Well, ask away." she smiled and leaned back onto her hands as she looked up at the cieling. "What color are your eyes?" She looked at him and saw the shocked look on his face and smlied waiting patiently, pretty sure that that was not a question he was asked very often or even at all.[/COLOR][/B]

[B][COLOR=Purple]Mayhony smiled as she looked at the girl in her door. "Well, I don't think you want a cold, and I really don't want anyone who'll be on my team to have a cold either. Come on in and get changed, if you don't have any extra colthes the attic was my sister's room, you look about her size and I think all the other rooms are taken so you can take it. There should be a chest in the left hand corner as you go in, the clothes should be in there." She nodded and MAyhony walked back to the basement. "Ready to go and meet the others?" He just looked at her, or at least she thought that's what he was doing. "Well alright." She walked out and smiled noteing that he followed her out, she sat down on her large plush couch and sank down a few inches into the soft material and sighed as her body relaxed. "And now we wait for the others to settle in and meet here." [/COLOR][/B]
