Yawning she made sure the ring her father had given her mother was around her neck and got out of bed and streched. Looking in the mirror she saw her reflection and raise a dark eyebrow. She pulled at a stray strand of her long black hair and blew her bangs out of her violet eyes and away from her face. She looked at her body turning this way and that in the mirror, thin, lean and built from her training, long black hair to her waist pulled back into an untidy braid from sleep, violet eyes and slightly tanned skin. Not one thay was followed by guys but she got her fair share of valintines. She walked to her closet and donned on the customary uniform and sighed as she looked agin, this did nothing for her looks. Oh well. She sighed again and grabbed her ID badge and waltzed out the door meeting no one she headed for the basic training arena ready to get her hands dirty. Her favorite thing in the world, yeah, right. She looked up at the big guy gaurding the door. 'Identifacation." "Emerald Balde, Emi for short. Rank, cadet. Age, 22. Number, 00326." She took a step forward when he looked at her expectedly. "Specialty, ground force. Happy now?" He let her pass and she walked in taking her place in the back it didnt take long for her to fall back to sleep. She blinked and stood, swearing she was awake...but this was to cool to be real. Walking, just walking, it's peaceful. Such a beautiful place, what is this place?' She recognized it as the memorial that was built years ago when her great grandmother and great grandfather were young. She frowned and looked at it and then jumped as a long loud and shrill howl rose through the sand. She spun around in time to see a large sand storm swirling around behind her, bright green eyes flashing in it over and over but she didn't feel threatened. Instead she took a slow step forward and felt her breath catch and the storm dissappered and there stood and yellow and black fox. It was huge, standing well over the building behind her but still she felt no threat. It whined and lay down on the sand inching forwards till it nose touched her hand, it was cold and damp as if the thing were real. She let her hand run up the muzzle feeling the soft fur and seeing its large eyes close in contemtment she sratched right between the eyes, knowing her dog loved that back home. She suddenly felt a sharp pain and telped as she was jogged awake by a ruler smaking her on the head. "Stay awake cadet or your never going to graduate." She sighed and leaned back in her chair. "So says you." "What was that?!" "Nothing. I yawned." she looked out the window thinking abou the odd dream she had been so rudely pulled away from. 'How odd.' -
It startled me and, okay I jumped almost out of my skin, I couldn't help it. I was just sitting there thinking that maybe I was so insane I thought I wasnt insane when he leaned over and whispered in my ear that he wanted to talk to me, that he shared his body with a demon. I nodded. I knew for a fact that if I could get confermation that I wasn't insae I'd take it. Besides if Kevin, as I found out was his name, needed time to see that I meant well then so be it. I heard our names spoken over the speaker and heaved a sigh. "Goody, we get to go for reevaluation." I rolled my eyes and stood leading the way to the coucil room for our little session where we share our mental illness with everyone and then tell how its effected or lives thus far...um, Hello! We're in a mental hospital! Thats what I always want to yell at these stupid shrink people that look at you like your about to internally combust. I recalled one time that I acted like I was really actually crazy and startedt o chew on this guys pencil and singing a really creepy old witch craft song that I heard another patient singing in her sleep. The shrink was new and had never been to one of these places before and I know I know what I did wwas horrible and got me in a padded room with a stairt jacket (which by the way is fun as hell if you know what to do and when to do it) but it sure was fun to see that guy pee his pants and try to climb the wall. I still smile almost laughing when I think about it. I give the orderly a giant smile as I walk in receiveing a frown and a curt 'sit down' in return. I only smiled bigger and nodded as I waved the others in and then took my seat between Ronin and Marcus. I could tell this guy was gonna be fun. "We will be talking about your illness today. You'll all share what it is and how its effected your lives." Yep, right on the money. I smiled in spite of myslef. "

"I?m so bored! Let?s go do something!? Regardless of the complaining, the place seemed unmarred by the presence of the two lovers. The sky was a permanent shade of fire, a deep scarlet underlain with threads of pure gold and blazing orange. The grass was lush and emerald, licking the parted dirt path for a small road. Trees, giant, majestic, stood towering over the two as they walked, covering them in a cool comforting shade. The calm eyes flickered over to the whining voice, his face open and smiling, and his voice a gentle whisper of contentment. ?You know we?re here on business, so relax and go find something to do.? Amelia, pouting, plopped down onto the ground, a small puff of dirt wafting lazily up. She fell back, staring up at the swirling sky, watching the golden wisps of clouds slide by, all the while absentmindedly stroking the long black shaft of the glowing scythe that lay beside her. ?But this is so boring! I wish He would hurry up already!? ?Just be quiet and wait,? He muttered, taking a place beside her. ?Oh, easy for you to say,? Amelia mumbled. She rolled over, grabbing the thin waist of boy beside her, forcing him to lie down on his back. ?I know how we can occupy our time.? ?We really shouldn?t,? He murmured, eyes arguing with whatever protesting words poured out. Amelia crawled atop him, her body covering the length of the angel?s. ?I?ll stop once I know you really want me to,? She whispered, and then began to devour his mouth. His lips relaxed under the onslaught of the kiss, softening then swelling beneath the force, his hands flying up to unbraid the customary plait in the demon?s hair. ?I love you,? whispered the angel beneath the lips. Amelia pulled back, her amethyst eyes sparkling. ?You know I love you as well,? She hissed, pushing her face against the soft hand of her lover. ?Always and until the end of time.? He smiled, something beautiful in its simplicity and heartfelt notion, and pulled the girl back down atop him. He ate at the lips, biting them in a soft clench and pulling. Amelia shuddered, her breath coming faster, her hands diving into the soft locks of her partner. And next thing the passion-filled demon knew, she was pushed off and flying through the air, with her lover scrambling to his feet. ?He?s here.? ?Damn, He always has the worst timing,? Amelia muttered, dusting herself off and walking back over to her lover?s side. Nothing changed in the small field; no new figure or any clue of a visitor was made evident. Both fell to one knee in a manner of utter respect and benevolence, heads hanging as their hair fell and covered their faces. The angel?s shirt, just a simple green satin tunic, split with a subtle tearing sound, and massive, dove-like, white feathered wings spewed forth, flapping then settling against the tattered satin. Amelia grimaced slightly, leathery black wings shredding through the black tunic and relaxing against her back. {We have many matters to discuss, my children.} The two said nothing, faces impassive, remaining in their humble positions. The voice burned into their cores, leaving marks in the wake of the words. It was neither male nor female, but rather an androgynous loudness that was fire and ice all in one, comfort and fear in each syllable. {I cannot allow this affair to continue. It is immoral in every sense of the word.} ?Lord,? Amelia said, snapping her head to look straight ahead and seeing nothing. ?Please, I beg you. Rethink this.? {Do not question my ideas, Amelia, my child. You both come from separate worlds, and thus, cannot be allowed to continue this ridiculous affair.} Amelia flashed a look over to Her lover, her beloved Angel of Life, and was not surprised to see the diamond tears that trickled down his smooth cheeks. More on impulse than anything else, she leaped over and wrapped the weeping boy into her tight embrace. ?You cannot separate us!? Amelia screamed. {You would risk your own lives for your affections?} Amelia nodded, feeling the strong hands of her lover clench her arms in encouragement. ?Yes, my lord, we would.? {And Angel, my child, would you also do such a thing?} The angel looked up, tears refusing to cease their relentless cascade. ?Yes, my lord.? {I see. This was expected, however. I dreaded doing such an act, but I see no other alternative, I?m afraid. Thus, you shall all be damned for your actions.} ?Damned?? The angel hissed, head snapping up and peering through his lover?s arms. {Yes, my child. You will be earthbound for the remainder of eternity, never to witness the glory of the Higher Plane again until your curse is ended. If you should ever meet in a sinful lover?s fashion again, the world; and its entire people shall be forfeited. } ?You would kill everyone to get us to cease our affair?? Amelia screamed, arms tightening. {I will not destroy anything; you shall, if you meet again under sheets. Your traitorous affair will not be tolerated! An angel and a demon cannot be allowed to carry on the way you have! I have been lenient thus far.} ?Damn you!? Amelia hollered voice cracking as her own tears began to fall. {How you disappoint me, my children. I know that your compassion and love for the humans will not allow you to destroy them and their fragile world, and for that, I thank you, as I am sure they do.} {Perhaps I am wrong, though, and you would forfeit humanity for your impure lust. Thus, I shall have to take precautions.} The angel began screaming, face squeezing and twisting in agony. His fingers clawed relentlessly at the flesh of Amelia?s arms, writhing in her tight embrace. A few feathers, pure and soft, fell from his wings, fluttering lazily down to the ground. ?What are you doing to him?? the demon screamed. {He will not be the person you remember. He shall be split into two entities; his physical current form as you know him, and his emotional soul, the one that knows and follows you. His soul shall be reborn throughout time, dormant, asleep, never knowing the truth behind his face, and thus, not knowing you or the bond you have shared. His current physical form will do as I have decreed and thus, will never be your lover again. This is only to safeguard all that I have built.} {And your Scythe of Nightmares shall be stripped of your hands and placed upon earth, your power with it. You will, in essence, be an immortal mortal, living an eternity with no strength to consider your own.} {Release will only be achieved when all things have fallen into place, when the power of the scythe is harnessed, the humanity of the heart is found once more, and you both consummate your relationship. And then, the world shall be destroyed, with all the blood of life on your hands.} He settled in her arms, lips moving slowly. Amelia, with a trembling hand, reached down and pushed some sweat-matted hair away from her lover?s face, breath catching in her throat. The angel stared at her coldly, face impassive. His eyes, the ones that had not more than three minutes ago shone with such passion and devotion, were now flat and dead, calculating the demon that sat inches above him. ?Let me go.? ?But-,? Amelia whispered, voice shaking. ?Please, My love.? ?I said let me go, Amelia,? He repeated, the sound frigid and robotic. She fell to her knees, her face buried in her hands sobbing as he walked away from her not looking back. The Legend "Listen to the Voice as it proclaims your destruction. Open thy ears and hear the cry of Death He, whose reckless step is the mark of Hell upon the land. Open thy eyes and see the face of God She, whose eyes are the fire of Heaven and understand Gather thy Scythe of Tragedy and thy Heart of Humanity To meet is to chance To love is to destroy To unite is the path of fragile mortality And to forsake the world before you." The girl walked down the dusty road, silently noting the emptiness that surrounded her. Abandoned houses lined the street, reminding her of hollow, eternal, taunting skulls. She sighed as dust melodramatically swept up through the air and circled around her, rustling the cloak that covered the length of her body and the hood that shadowed her face. She calmly strutted through the road and up to the skeletal remains of an old building. Wood, charred to the deepest black, flaked off in her hand and floated lazily on the mild wind. She took a step away from the building and looked up towards the merciless sun that shone with odd intensity overhead. Wordlessly, she turned back to the road and began trekking down it once more. ?Leave now, demon! Leave before I have to kill you!? The girl slowly turned around, studying the middle-aged villager that had yelled at her more than fifty yards away. Balding and a little overweight, the man posed no immediate threat; however the gleaming sword in his hand might prove a slight problem. ?Hmm, old man. It sounds as if you?re threatening me. You know, you really shouldn?t be picking fights with people half your age; it is not good for you health.? The man scoffed, sneer riding his lips in false confidence; the slight shaking of the sword in his hand betrayed his courage. ?You speak big for such a pathetic little girl!? ?First you call me a demon, and now a harmless girl?? the cloaked figure remarked. ?Will you decide on whether or not I should be feared? I really do need just to get this over with and get back with what I was doing.? ?I will purge this good land of your evil blood, demon!? the man screamed, then bolted towards his calmly standing adversary. The girl sighed, her hand flying up to a silver brooch that attached her cloak around her neck. With a flick of her wrist, it came apart, the thick black wool cloak flying through the air and discarded carelessly upon the dirt road. A long braid streaked with honey, chestnut, mahogany, and auburn fell down her back and to her thighs while unruly bangs licked hungrily at her cheeks. Amethyst eyes stared coolly at the approaching man as the sun flashed off dark armor, the color of an insane midnight. Ornate designs, ancient and haunting, were carved deep along the frigid onyx metal, symbols no one had ever laid eyes upon before. With a smirk of pure wickedness, the girl pulled forth a simple, ordinary sword from the sheath she wore at her belt, a blade that was neither polished, nor loved. The villager had covered the distance by the time his opponent?s weapon was out, and he was already bringing his sword down on the girl?s head with a malevolent grin. The grin, one so smug and confident, faded instantly as the girl?s blade blurred past him and caught his weapon in a shrieking clash of steel striking steel. Grunting, he pushed off the blade and attempted a slice directly across his enemy?s midsection. The girl jumped backwards, evading the attack with ease, which sent the older man veering off to the left. The girl chuckled to herself as her fist cut through the air and connected with the man?s kidney. He groaned, twirled around quickly, and glared at the girl. ?I really do not have time for this,? the armor-clad young woman said exasperated. ?I am a very busy woman.? ?You mean, a very busy monster!? the man cried. ?Woman, monster, whatever suits you, I suppose,? she called back nonchalantly. ?Just come and let me get this over with.? The man roared, something primal and animalistic then rushed at the girl. His sword went up, catching the sunlight and casting its rays all over the black clad girl. It came down in a flash of steel, but was promptly blocked up his grinning rival?s sword. The man leaned all his strength and weight into his attack, and gawked as he saw his opponent bore his burden with utter ease and only one hand. It is her! his mind screamed. They said it was only a legend, something to tell children when they were being rambunctious, but now I know it?s true! Silver cut threw the air, slicing it and the flesh of the man. Blood sprayed forth, raining scarlet tears over the dirt, as the man sunk to his knees. His hands curled around the dagger that protruded from his stomach, eyes surprised and frightened, then slipping shut. Blood bubbled from his mouth, frothing and dribbling down a silently working chin. With a cloud of dust, the man fell into the dirt, convulsing, and then laid still. Humming softly to herself, the girl reached down and retrieved her dagger from the man?s stomach, a sickening sound striking her ears as she ripped the weapon from the flesh. She wiped it off on a clean area of the man?s shirt, and then returned it to its place in a black leather sheath behind her back. ?You would think people would learn to leave me alone,? she mused as she grabbed her cloak and fastened it once more around her throat. Pulling up her hood, she smiled as she began walking once more down the empty road. ?I?m coming for you, Ebony. Don?t worry. You won?t have to wait much longer. Then you and I can have some real fun.? Miles away a young King and his knights looked over the map plotting the course with which the demon was taking. ?It moves in the opposite direction then the tower that holds its weapon?what does this mean?? ?It?s in search of the Angel...We cannot allow them to meet. We must stop her before the world is destroyed.? The King nodded and grabbed his sword. ?General, gather your men, we move tomorrow morning in hunt for this demon and to stop this reunion.? ?You highness, are you sure it is wise that you come along?? The men looked nervous between them and their King. ?I am positive.? As the King walked out his mother shook her head and looked at the general. ?Do not let him see this Demon; he does not know that the Angel?s soul lies dormant with in him. Please watch after him.? The general nodded and began to assemble the troops. ::Sign Ups:: Name: Amelia (Amelia Blaze*human name*) Age: Human age 23, real age Unknown Gender: Female Apperance: Amelia is slightly tall, around 5'6, lean and well built she is beautiful. I blinked rapidly as the guy stormed out and down the hall. "Uh, I'm not gonna ask you guys cause I don't want that to happne again." I hada feeling that he was just trying to make an excuse for not hopeing like I was, but after that little diplay, I knew I was hopeing for a goo reason. I wasn't crazy, and neither were any one of the others. All though the new guy that had hid under the bed I wasn't sure about. He hadn't spoken a word but the orderly had told me his name was Tobais Stone. Stone was right. He was about that expressive. He walked up to me and put a hand on my shoulder and nodded. I got the feeling he was telling me to be patient. I could do that. I think. I led the way down the hall to breakfast and waited for the announcement that we were headed for our fisrt seesion together. Shrinks. I hated them. [B]"Are they bonding?" "Somewhat...some think that they are still insane." "Well, make sure that when they go to that session they all tell what their little problems are." "And Stone?" "He has a private session at that time." THe orderly nodded to the shadow and walked out. Laughter, cool, calm and chilling came from the room. "I will have them working for me. And I will rule the demon world if I have to kill to get it."

Okay I have a question for those of us that have been here for a while, I've been here for a few years now and I know that there have been some RP threads that I LOVED participating in and I was really sad to see them die off. I've been talking to a bunch of other people for a while about how much it sucks that they die off and never come back. I was thinking...If you could say a few things about a certain RP thread that you really liked, kinda like a last goodbye Which would it be? I have two. The Project series that never finished and The Devils Rose. Those were my Favs. Very well thought out and put together Rps.

I woke up feeling warm and comfortable, opening my eyes I saw why. I was cuddled to the guys side. I blinked and tried to roll over and away from him when I remebered that these beds really weren't all that big. I think the only words that I managed to get out before I fell were. "Oh this is-" What I was gonna say was...'Oh this is gonna hurt like fuck' and it did. I found my self on the floor again and sighed. It wasn't gonna be my day. I looked around at everyone, they were all still dozeing. I took the chance to get another shower and freshen up some. I came back out to see them all moving around and got dressed pretty fast. I soon looked at all my roomies, includeing the paranoid guy that arrived at 3 that morning. I sighed and looked around. "Before we go I have a confession and a question for all of you. The confession is my own, I figure if we're here together that I should be honest. I do not think that I'm crazy...I see things...I see d-demons. The question is...is anyone bothered by that cause if you are, I'll ask to be moved." Everyone was quiet like I had set off a bomb or something.

The guy that I was shareing a bed with seemed to leave it at that and went to sleep almost instantly...kinda creepy. I lay there awake for what seemed like hours. I heart the guy witht eh paints int he bathroom. THought I heard him cryign but it was none of my bussiness right? Right. I heaved a sigh when he emerged from the bathroom and hopped down alomost as soon as he was in bed and went to bathroom. I flipped off the light as I came out. Everyone was asleep now and I looked at the guys bag again to see more the 10 demons looking at a piece of canvas that the guy had obviously hid there and frowned. Sheesh it was bad enough that they made me look bad but now they were going through my roommates stuff. That really burned my biscuts. I walked up to the bag and swiped at the demons, though I couldn't touch them they felt my intentions and rushed away and out through the wall onthe far side for the rest of the night, I know, I couldn't get to sleep after what I saw on the canvas in my hands. I was a beautiful painting, full of emotion and talent. What got me was I thought this guy to be one of those pampered kids who paint like fields and expensive mansions. Only here was a demon...an actual demon holding itself and crying like a lost child. I examined it and then looked at the sleeping boy who shifted restlessly in his sleep. I shook my head and put the painting back, only I put it in a large folder that was in there, that way it wouldn't get hurt. I had always had a soft spot for painting. I didn't paint, I sucked at that, but I sketched. I used t have charcol pencils and pens but they got taken away and I was never able to get them back. I blinked as there was a knock at the door. I looked at the little clock they gave us and growled as the others looked up, some rubbing the sleep out of their eyes, others looking at the offending door like i was, with intent to kill who ever was on the other side. I may not have been asleep but the others were. I flug opne the door only to be gretted by a handsome looking young man withpierceing blue eyes. He just looked around the room nodding to the covered mirror and then looking me up and down taking in my state of dress. He was dressed in jueans and rather loose fitting t-shirt with a dark green zip up hoodie on over it. I looked up at the orderly who had brought him, it wasn't brad and I felt my self get very consious I was still in my underclothes and frowned. I closed the door covering my body from veiw and looked up at the rough looking man and asked a simple question. "What's the deal?" "New roommate. He's a paranoia. He hates mirrors and light." I looked around and he crawled under one of the bottom beds and seemed very comfortable there. Well finally a real nut to make me look almost sane. Hm, cool. "Okay. YOu can leave now. "One more thing, you all have sessions and classes starting tomarrow." I almost slapped myself again. Thats right if your not graduateing age in this place they evaluate you and then send you to classed taught by the orderlys. Goody. "Fine what time?" "Be up at 7 and be ready by 9." "Got it big tall and ugly. Go away." I knew that if he wanted to he could force his way in and beat the hell outta me but he learned quickly the first time he tried to rape little ol' me that I wasn't one to take it. I broke his nose and arm in one move. I smiled at the remeberance of that day. One of the few that I was actually happy here. I didn't sleep at all for the rest of the night...not surpriseing. Demons, roommates, weird guys saying weird things...and the hope that I wasn't crazy still lingered there in the back of my mind...I wasn't going to wish it yet. I was goign to bring something up in the morning about all of this over breakfast. I had a good feeling if I did I would get some answers and O boy is that what I wanted the most. I sighed and climbed back into my crowded bed and looked back at the ceiling. This had been an eventful day...wonder what tomarrow brings...Here's hopeing that I'm not mad...

I watched out of the corner of my eye as he inspected the bag, I didn't think anything of it till he looked at me staright on makeing me feel very small all of a sudden. I sank back into my own world, my own little mind. I was glad to be back into my normal clothes again...they were dark and kinda morbrid but complimented me well. Black, all of it black. the baggy, boys cargo shorts, the thick black ankle boots, the tight black tanktop, the blakc open fingered gloves, and my necklace that they had taken...it was my prized possession. It had been my brother's before he...I trailed away from that thought as I looked up at the ceiling. the mirror on the wall near the door was uncovered as it began to turn dark outside, I took it upon my self to cover it again, like I said nothing worse then a dream demon peering in on you at 3 o'clock in the morning. I climbed back into the bed and realized that they hadn't given us any sleepware. "Yo! Brad! We get pajamas or what?" "Not that I know of Yara." I rolled my eyes as he left and took a ddep breath letting it out. I was bored adn I tend to do stupid things when I'm bored. I did the only thing I could think of. I released my dampeners completely and held my breath, it suddenly felt as if all the room there was gone. I didn't want to open my eyes but i did. I regret it now. The room was so full of demons and spirits that I wasnt even gonna try to count em' all. I looked at the guy that I thought had nothing on him and blinked as I saw a bright form follwoing behind him, like it was connected to him or something. And I swear it waved to me. I shook my head and opened my eyes again only to yelp as the freaky Demon form the paint guys bag sat on my chest pulling it unnormal long ears and making faces at me. I swiped at it knowing I couldnt hurt it and knowing in the back of my mind that they were thinking I really was nuts now. I began to growl and suddenly rolled to the side, every intention of just getting the damned thing off of me and ended up back on the floor. I looked up at the others as they looked down at me confued, but that guy...the weird bright thingie one...he simply smiled and shook his head. What was he smileing at? Made me so mad. I shook it off and regained what little composure I could muster and climbed back into my bed, pulling my covers over my self, boots, clothes, and all, even up over my head. It was then that the 'bright thingie guy' decided to open his big mouth. "There aren'y enough beds in the room." I heard Brad answer with an Oh so smart answer. "Yes thats right. we have to move on in here tomarrow while you all are at breakfast." I groaned as I knew what was next and what would happen. Don't know how. But I did. "Two of you will have to share a bed till the other can be brought in." Yup. Knew it! I looked at the others from my small cover cave, all the others had gotten there before this guy and claimed a bed,and by the looks none seemed to keen on shareing. I huffed a heavy sigh and sat up, the sheets falling into my lap. "I will. Just don't get no funny ideas got it?" He nodded and so did I as I got ready for bed, since they hadn't issued us and PJ's I just decided to sleep in my understuff. Like I said I'm not shy and I had my blade in the wall next to me. He tried something, he'd be a unich in seconds flat. So I wasn't worried. He looked like he was out of it for a second, just stareing straight ahead not really looking at anything and I saw a flash of bright light behind him and he seemed to come to. Shakeing his head he looked up at me as I folded my clothes sheding the gloves but leaving the necklace. The undergarments I had chose( have you ever worn ward underclothes? Yuck!) didn't leave much to imagine. Bikini cut underware, black of corse, and a black bra. Not really to fancy but comfortable...much more then the orderly unshit that these people gave you when you came here. Man those things are torture...but back to the subject. So it was time for lights out. I was just getting to sleep when I felt this guy climb in with me and put his back to mine then roll over and lean in. I was about to knock him off when he spoke a few words that made me freeze. "You see them don't you?" I couldn't breath...I was dareing to hope that he knew what I was seeing and that I wasn't just crazy...was there hope?

I thought that I was nuts to begin with but when I saw that...THING crawl out and run from that kids back pack I knew it. I didn't realize I had screamed till I looked up at Brad handing Demonica her clothes and the strange look everyone else was giving me. "Heh...s-stupid tags..." I could have slapped myself at that moment...some excuse but they seemed to buy but the kid whoes pack it came from was looking at me frowning. I could see the worry demons whispering in his ears. I took in his paranoid stance and the paint splattered shirt, well not that bad but there were drops that were barely visible. I thought for a moment and I figured that ifI was gonna e rooming with these people might as well make them like me, at least a little. I caught Brad before he left and went into the hall with him, I knew that the others probably thought something bad but Brad was cool so no. "Look, what problem is there giving the kid-" "He's your age, and your no kid" "Yeah yeah, so whats the big deal about ginving him some paint and shit?" "Look I would but its not my call." "Yeah they all think since we're nutzo that we're gonna drink the paint..." "you as sane as me and the other wards here. Same with those others with you." "Then whats the big deal?!" "Alright! But if I get caught Yara...I'll make sure you have Electro Shock therapy for the rest of the days your here." "Your the best Brad!" He waved from down the hall, I walked back in to see the rest of them in their clotes and nodded climbing up onto my bunk, I pulled out a razor from my little hideing place and began to carve into the wall, what? You thought I cut my self? I'm nuts, not phsyco sheesh. I carved the design of the demon I saw come from his pack and looked at it...wasn't like anythink I had ever seen in all my life, it was...human looking only...grey. Creeped me out. A light knock made me jump off the bed and answer the door before the others could get there, it was Brad. He smiled and exposed the painting supplies that he had hidden in his shirt. I looked at the boy with glasses and thought of something that would get his attention. "Hey you." Oh yeah. I'm clever. They all looked up and I pointed to him and then to the door. "For you." I leaned out and looked at Brad frowning slightly. "Let him keep his glasses or issue him some cantacts or something like you did me...if he's like any other person with glasses here he cant see worth shit with out them." "I didn't plan on takeing the Yara. Chill." I shrugged and moved out of the way as he walked up to the door. A few minutes alter he stood there blinking down at the paint and canvas in his arms. I looked down and smiled. "Cool break ne?" I winked and put my hands behind my head counting the tiles on the ceiling thinking of the little demon that had run from the room when I looked down and saw the damn thing crawling back into his back pack. "What the fuck!? Does that thing have like a nest in there or something?" I blinked as I realized I had said that aloud...shit. Now they would know I really was nuts. "Uh..never mind." I watched as the thing stuck its head out and then blew a raspberry at me, out of reflex I returned it in full and looked aroung, my tounge hanging out of my mouth looking at the others. I regained myself and was looking at the ceiling again chanceing glances at the damn thing that was taunting me from this guys bag. I was pissed and there was nothing I could do but watch. Damnit.

Okay, now I have heard of community rooms but man this was getting ridiculus...there was me and Demonica, Ronin and the weird guy who decieded to puke up his glasses and now there was another guy in the room. Damn. I remember getting out of the shower and walking into the room in my bra and underware, what? I'm not ashamed of myself, to find yet another young man had joined us. They looked at me at that moment like I was from outer space or something so I simply shrugged and pointed out that even though it was a bathroom, it was small and there was barely enough room to get dressed like I was. They still just stared...made me slightly uncomfortable. Well okay not really, like I said I'm far from shy. Or at least I was okay till one of the cronies walked in. I knew the guy, he was probably one of the coolest guys that worked there, treated the patients like people and not just mindless zombies like some here were. He cocked an eyebrow at my aperrance making me flush slightly. "What like you've never seen a women before? I know you've been laid." "Many times, I'm married." "Than stop googeling me." I climbed up to my bunk and grabbed the grey uniform that had been issued to us. "Don't worry about that Yara, since you all have been moved from solitary you get to wear civilian clothes." "Seriously?" "Uh huh. I came to ask what you all want and to go and get it for you and bring it all back to you. Sound okay?" I jumped off the bed and regaurdless of my state of dress hugged the guy till he was blue. "Better then okay, that's great!" I told him what I wanted, likeing the imgae of myself in my head and finished it off with a request for a silver scythe charm necklace, he looked at me funny for that but agreed none the less. I spun around the room in one of my happy dazes. "We're getting normal clothes! Oh this rocks out loud!" I jumped back onto the bed and looked down as someone poked me in the shoulder. "Yeah?" It was the new guy...or the latesest new guy anyway. "Would it be to much to ask if you could get dressed? Wether you know it or not there are others in the room besides you and it is makeing us all slightly uncomfortable." "Yeah yeah." I stuck out my tounge and hopped down slipping on the grey outfit that I would soon be throwing away anyway and then jumped back onto the bed. He smirked and looked up at me. "There, isnt that better?" "You know kiddo, society doens't like smartasses." All I got was a cocky smile from the guy...I remember thinking at that moment that me and this guy were gonna get along pretty well, even if something about him did throw me off, the fact that I couldnt see anything around him and then suddenly every now and then I would see a falsh of something and then it was gone...It kinda freaked me out but who am I to judge...hell I'm crazy right?

LOL wow...where I learned it...believe it or not, my big brother and then as I got through middle school and into high school I learned from friends. Then when I met my fiance, well...I just deided to take it upon my self to learn for the fact that we really loved each other and to be blunt couldnt keep out hands to oursleves. At first I was really shy about it but as time went I got used to beng with him. As to what I think about it...my personal opinon is that its a feeling that when with the right person in my experience makes your mouth go dry and you feel like your stomach is gone. then you feel like you can fly....well that how it is for me when I'm with my fiance... :animeblus -
It is 3006, and the earth is rundown and dieing. THe cities are crumbleing to the ground and creatures of the nightare running rampage on the remaining humans that are trying to correct the mistake that their ancestors made in the past and bring mother earth back to life. Now useing water to fule cars and sunlight to fule their houses it is a harsh living for them, some even migrated into space to get away from the harsh living conditions and formed space colonies around the world. And the conditions on earth keep getting worse every night and day as the monsters from the horror movies and their nightmares are coming to life every hour and second they live; but there are those that protect the remaining humans in the cities, hunters of the hunters. She stood in the seemingly innocent garage sharpeing her arrow tips and tipping them in silver, then dipping them in silver nitrate. The city was quiet as usual except for the clubs and street raceing, she enjoted the noise of the races, they made her adreniline pump knowing that one could possibly crash into her home, her working area. She flipped her hair back and took a deep breath to steady her hands as she worked longer into the sinking sunlight. Tapping her boot toe against the concrete floor she knew she didn't have much more time, she knew that soon she would have to go out and do her work. Work that she volenteered fro at the age of 7. It was chilling work but it was something that had to be done. She looked over atthe clock beside her and scofed; she had been at this for nearly 6 hours this time and she wasn't about to stop untill she absolutely had to. She felt her ears twitch as she heard a scream in the distance. She had to. She cursed silently and gathered up what was finished and slung the equipment onto her back, making sure her guns were snug on her theighs and hips she felt her arm and felt a slight reassurance as she felt the blade there as well. She grabbed her helmet and i-pod and as she went out the door she grabbed the holster that held her bow and satchel of arrows for long distance shooting that she knew the dense silver bullets would never reach. Putting the ear phones in her ears she placed the helmet over her head and smiled smugly as she heard Three Days Grace, Animal I Have Become begin to play in her ears. 'Ironic' she thought. She lifted her body from the seat of the Black, Red, and Silver Kawasaki Nija she sat upon then dropped kicking it to life under her. She felt the bike race forward as she shifted the gears. She had heard the scream from downtown, only 2 minutes from where she was now, she wondered if she could make it on time. They usually had their prey cornered and played with it befroe they ate it, it was their way. She shuddered as certain thoughts went through her mind. She felt the razor phone on her hip viberate but ignored it knowing it was Dr. D from the agency telling her what she already knew. The tires squealed as she put on the brakes hard makeing the bike fish tail to a stop. She was right, they had the young girl cornered in a closed off alley and were playing with her. 'The more frightened they are, the better they taste'. That was what her father had always told her, another shiver ran up her spine involentarily. She let out a sharp whistle and smiled as she took off the helmet and slipped on a pair of dark sunglasses even though it was night already. They turned on her growling fircely, any other human would have run...but then again she wasn't any other human was she? She put out the kick stand and slipped off, her ankle high boots sounding heavy on the black top under her feet, her black tank top and short jean shorts made her look vaunerable with skin showing. the gloves on her hands were black as well, as most of her attire was these days, open fingerd and ending at her wrists braceing them for when she hit her prey. Her long dark hair was loose and flowing also giving her a look of weakness that she knew was to her advantage since they never used all their strength thinking she was weak. Her eys took in everything from under the sunglasses. She rolled her eyes as the Razor phone rang again, and as if it were a ring from a bell they attacked her. She was slightly shocked by their speed, they were faster then what she thought they hould be but never the less she sidestepped and grabbed one by the back of the neck and threw it, hearing the resounding crack of breaking bones as she broke its neck in the process. She felt a smile tug at her lips but willed it away. The others attacked and in a flash she had her guns out shooting them in the chests, the liquid silver in the bullets hit their blood streams almost insantly makeing them fall and howl in pain they lay at her feet twitching and foaming at the mouth, as blood filled their lungs and throat as they died. She walked up to one as it changed and rolled it over. She felt a stab at her heart as she found that it was nothing but a little boy; they were getting desperate for new hunters to keep their race from being wipped off the earth. She finally answered the phone as it rang and viberated again. "What?" "We need you to come to head quarters. We have some disterbing devlopments in Scottland." "And why would you need me?" "They are growing in size and number every night. Not only that the clans are merging." She heaved a sigh and spoke into the phone as she threw the bodies into the dumpster and poured lighter fluid on tthem and then setting it on fire. Walking over to the girl she grabbed her squirming form and held a pressure point till the gilr went limp in her arms then gave her a small shot and flipped her over her own shoulder easily. Carrieing her to a near by club she dropped her off out front by the door, fifteen minutes she would wake up dizzy and think she was drunk, had passed out and had a bizzare dream. "So what do you want me to do about it. This city has enough problems." "We're putting a team together of the best hunters from around the world and bringing them here to go with you." "I don't need the cub scouts going with me D." "I understand this Rayven, but it is crucial that we know for sure that this infestation will be taken care of no matter what." "You think I can't handle it on my own don't you?" "I never said that Ray. All I'm saying is that it might do you some good to work with others for once." "You know why I don't. You think they'll want to work with me when they find out what I am?" "That is why when they get here for the breifing and meet the rest of the team we will tell them then and if any object to working with you then we will send them home to their own country or state or where ever the live, is that alright?" "I don't like it D. You know I hate telling people that information." "Which is why you live alone and why your so uptight. Relax every now and then." "I exorsice. That's my relaxation." She could hear him scoff and begin to cough on the other line. "It's prgressed hasn't it D?" "That's none of your bussiness Ray. Just get here and be ready to meet the others and leave in two days. Got it." "Hn." She snapped the phone shut and kicked the bike back to life slipping on the helmet and turned towrads the outskirts of the little city and revved the engine heading that way. Thoughts raceing through her mind. She was a hunter, she was a half breed. She hunted the hunters, the Werewolves and other monsters that trailed into the city. The vampires had lond since left but the Werewolves would not give up so that was her speciality these days. sure she had some garlic and holy water stashed somewhere in her gargae but had not needed it in nearly 2 years. The information that D had given her troubled her. Werewolves were not native to Scottland, Banshies were what lived there and yet here she was about to get briefed on the situation in Scottland, on werewolves and not only that she would be working with a team? She was anything but a team player. Antisocial and quiet she hated being around people. She rolled D's words over in her mind about the clans in Scottland merging, that meant that a powerful Were' was leading them. They ran on usually one thought dearing the night and that was the thrill of the hunt, but the was D had described it made it sound as if they were hitting diffrent towns on a schedule, as if they were...planning what to do. 'Not acceptable' she stopped infront of a run down building in the desert out side the city and walked in. Turning to the left she pulled the empy water jug fromthe shelf and took a stance to keep her balance as the platfrom under her move down into the rest of the building under the sand. She slpped the sunglasses on and walked off the platform letting it rise back to its original place above ground. "D!" The young man poked his head from a cubical to the left, he looked dimished and pale; he had lung cancer but refused to get the correct treatment. Which made his aperrance fragile, though she knew that was far from the right case. She could smell the cigeratte smoke on him from the front of the main lobby and heaved a sigh. "Over here Ray." Her boots made dull 'thunks' as she walked on the pristine tiles of linolium, looking intot he cubical she could see chats and scans on the compter falshing quickly, quicker then a human should be able to read but then again, D was no normal human either; not likeher but the same as her in so many ways, his brain was like a small computer in its self. He was the only one she respected in this damn organization. "One day those things ARE going to kill you you know that right D?" "Ray, I didn't know you cared." "You practiaclly raised me, without you, I have no one to have intelligante converstaions with." "You only give my questions a dull 'Hn' for an answer, what make that so intellagent?" "Hn." "See?" She rolled her eyes and looked from the screen to him, here yellow eyes peeking over the rim of her shades. "Well?" "Punctual as ever I see." She frowned and cleared her throat to let him know she was serious now. "It'll be some time before the others arrive, you probably have a day or so, some are coming from a ways away. you'll know what I know when they know as well. Your working with them as a team and no one will kow what I know before any others do. Got it?" She rolled her eyes and nodded, turning she headed from the bright room into the gym in the back of the large square entrace room then down the left hall. She opened the double doors gald that no one else was there and began to go over all her thoughts again as she waited for the rest of the 'team' as D loved to put it, to get there. She was dreading this more and more every second she thought about it and every time she heard about it. One thought kept going through her mind over and over. 'The clans shouldn't be merging...it is against their law...they should be killing each other, not helping each other...it makes not sense...does not analyze.' She looked at the artificial window as lightning flashed and a storm rolled in, she silently thanked the geniuses that made this place for putting it underground; she hated rain. I remember the bark of laughter that came from my throat and laughing till my sides hurt. I looked up at hIm. "Ronin right?" He nodded, I let the sarcastic smile spread across my face makeing me look dark and dangerous. "It would be a tragedy to let me out. You see, I'm not just nuts, I see things...so it wouldn't be all that great to let me out. I'd be running up tp people trying to swipe away all the little-you know what....just forget it." I cursed my loud mouth inside my head and felt a flush reach my cheeks. "I'm done, I'm heading back to the room you guys should be able to find it alone...don't go alone though, the cronies here love to corner the newbies if you catch my drift." I stood and walked back to the room only to stop as I took in the pale looking boy and the slowly filling toilet. He put on a smile pair of glsses making me smile knowingly. "Next time...cover the bags in some kind of lubriacint...it'll make em' slide along the throat easier" I looked at the guy, he had little demons circleing his head pokeing him and never leaving his thoughts alone...come to think of it, so did the other two. I sighed and took the top bunk again slideing my hand into the small crevice to make sure no one had found my blades and rooled over on my side thinking of lunch. I had almost let it slip that I supposedly see demons...okay, so I see demons...that doesn't make me weird or like phsyco does it? I took a look around at where I was at and sighed. I suppose it does...I sat up and threw my feet and legs over the sode and decided to take a shower...anthing to make me feel better. I hope.

Some years ago highly trained assasins took on a mission of great importance, all were from diffrent regions and diffrent ranks but they worked well together as a team. The enemy they faced was one that they all had been after for many centuries, but none had the strength to take him down alone;only with their combined efforts did they barely manage to defeat this horrid enemy. But even then the evil that he had caused was so great that it would take years of hunting down the lesser evils and wipeing them out to return some form of fragil balance. Years passed and noting had come to pass to disturb the peace that was now in effect, leaving the assassins to leave their bloody work and lead normal lives. They had children and brought them up knowing how to fight and how to use their bodies as weapons, teaching the children, who did not understand, to be assassins if the need ever came to it. The assassins of old were now just that, old. They could no longer do their work, some were glad that they would never have to kill again, others were saddened by the fact that they would never again feel the thrill of a kill. It was their lives and now it was over, they would be forgotten and the deed that they had done together would be lost in history forever. Or so that was what they thought would happen. 20 years after the great evil lived and killed something has happened to make things around the world feel, taunt and pulled. The weather has been off and very strange. Heat waves and earth quakes, unexplained tornados, hurricanes, and tsunamies. The world was going haywire...and no one knew why... It was the day of the cook out for Umi, and so ar the weather in her area had been holding out, she had just watched a new report that a freak tornado had wiped out the down town section of her area, she was just glad it hadn't hit where she was, or her frineds. She was just walking out the door when her cell rang, she cursed softly under her breath and ran over to pick it up when she saw the name on the caller ID...someone she had never heard of or talked to. She was going to just let it ring but something inside her made her answer. "Hello?" "Umi Blade?" "Yes, can I help you?" "We knew your grandfather, we need you to come to the address we are about to give you right away." The younger man on the other side sounded as if he were close to panicing. "Why?" "It is about something your gradnfather did many years ago, when he was your age." "I am not paying for any of my grandfathers old bills. He took care of all that before he died." "No, no, it is about his old job. You know how to fight, shoot?" "Yes he taught me." Why was she telling the stranger all this? "You are to take his place then. We will send a cab for you now. Please wait and be aptient, everything will be explained when you arrive." It seemed like moments after she got off the phone the yellow car pulled in her drive, she got out of her house and looked at the car, making sure her pistol was in place she climbed into the back and looked over at an older man, he looked at her and nodded. "You look like your grandfather. He would be proud to see you walking into his place." "Place for what?" "You are his desendent. You are to be an asassin and fight the evil that we thought him and the others that were with him supposedly destoryed years ago." "Whoa, wait, evil? You expect me to believe this?" "That tatoo on your arm, how long have you had it?" "I was born with it." "It is the birthmark of an assassin. That is your proof. You will not be alone, others will aid you. But first we need to call upon the others and get them to head quarters and see what you all know." She looked out the window lost and confused as rain began to fall and splash on thewindow as they rode away from her home. Sign Ups: Name: Umi Blade Code name(name the agency will call you): Grim Reaper Age: 19 Gender: Female Personality: Laid back and open, she is friendly to most and makes friends easily. Ojo looked from one boy to the next and sighed explosively. "Anyone wanna play cards?" Den looked at her strangely and Kain didn't even budge from that machine he cuddled, you would think he wnted to marry the thing. She leaned back and began to rock on one leg of the chair whistleing quietly and then slamed the chair back to the wooden floor gaining a irritated look from Den, she merely smiled in return and waved. "You seem like a pretty high strung guy. Mercenary?" He blinked, then frowned. "Doesn't bother me, I dunno about cyber dude there but it doesn't bother me. I have healed alot of mercinaries in my time of being a doctor. Don't take it so seriously. If you keep being a prune you'll shrivle up like one." She laughed out loud at her own joke, even though it wasn't that funny, it was to quiet for her. She sighed loudly again and held up the deck of cards. "So, cards?" Not getting an answer she went back to rocking her chair and whistleing. So much for that idea.

I remember the first sane thought that went through my head was... 'Get off the floor dumbass.' So that's what I did, I wiped the shame off my face and stood there rubbing the top of one of my feet on the back of my leg in embaressment that I had been found on the floor by not one but two of my would be room mates. Clearing my throat I looked at them and bowed slighty. "Sorry, I was taking a nap when the people scared me, that's why I was on the floor. It's good to have some company now, I'm Yara. Pleased to meet you." I grimaced on the inside by hw shy and innocent I sounded, sheesh if they only knew. I looked at the tiny clock they had given us, that was about all we had other then a bathroom and a mirror, and that was about as much of an improvement as we were gonna get. I remember thinking to myslef how many more would be joining us, that made me worry. I looked at the boy who had just entered and blinked, man there were thousands of worry and hate demons all around him, his aura was completely surrounded. I was about to ask him about it when the other girl caught my attention, she too had a few tag alongs, wow this was gonna be an interesting life here. I put my hands up and shook my head. "Well I have no idea about you two but I'm kinda hungry. The cafiteria stinks to high heaven and no one knows why, but I can tell you it's not the food. The food here is actually pretty good in this neck of the place. Cool thing is that since the caf does stink so bad we can eat outside or the hallway. Just don't bother the cronies. They tend to take advantage of the samller ones if you catch my drif." I couldn't understand why it sounded like I was talking to a brick wall...wait, I sorta was. they were new to this half of the hospital I suppose you could call it and I was just being a chatter box. Better to break the ice then let it stand I always say. I remember leading the way down to the luch hall and me and the girl getting to be pretty good friends pretty quickly. For that I was grateful. But what had me puzzeled was the guy that was there with us...he was quiet, I never like quiet. It unnerved me in the worst ways.

Let me tell you something I've learned in my time here. Just because you can't see or hear something doesn't mean it isn't there, and just because you don't believe something doesn't mean it's not true. Maybe you're the one who needs to open their eyes and to really listen, to open your heart and just believe. It's no reason to condemn those of us that can see and hear those things. Just because people are different does not mean that they are worthless or less human. Sometimes those of us that appear to be the most insane are in reality the most balanced. But I'm getting ahead of myself. I should start at the beginning of this year, when I was moved from my private room into a larger, shared room. It was quite a change, but for some reason They thought it would be a good idea, something to do with personality evaluations and such. I suppose They had been right. My new room didn't get any bloodstains on the floors. My new roommates quickly became a reason for me to try and stave off the Darkness. Maybe if I could help myself, I could in turn help them. Turns out that none of us really needed help. At least, not the kind of help that They thought we needed, anyway. One day I had hoped we'd all leave this place and just be normal. Not freaks, not weirdos, not "special," not crazy. Oh, sorry, I'm getting ahead of myself again. Anyway, I was the only long-termer of the bunch. My other four new roomies were either fresh outcasts of the psych ward or were just shipped in by their oh-so-loving families. It makes me sick to think that some people would throw away their child just because the poor thing has a disease, something that may be considered "shameful." Makes me glad I don't have a family. At least when you're a ward of the colony no one pretends to love you. But I digress again. I'm new at this journal writing thing. Guess I better get better pretty damn fast, huh? I don't have that long left to write this. Something needs to remain after we are gone, and our time is rapidly running out. My main hope became that maybe someday we could all "graduate" and get out of here. Oh, bloody hell, how stupid of me to hope such a thing, especially now. Guess you're wondering where "here" is, huh? Well, look outside, peer through the bars on our windows, you might be able to see the electrified, razor wire topped fence surrounding the yard. They've got to keep us confined, you see. The nearest neighbors are ten miles away, but we still manage to make them nervous just by existing. I'm student at the Bryce School for Youths with Special Needs. Long and impressive name, huh? Pretty nice for a glorified insane asylum. My name is Yara Kurushi. I see demons. I am not insane. I am told by others here who are like me that in the future some of us will be picked out and transferred to another facility where we will be trained and then sent around the world destroying the demons of hell. Funny, people sometimes wonder if humans are really actually insane. So, I guess I should tell you a little bit about us. You know, how we got acquainted with each other and our little oddities and such. During the last week of the summer break I was allowed to move my meager possessions to my new larger room. Oh, let me tell you, the best benefit of being moved to a big, shared room is the attached bathroom. Bliss. As for the room, it was actually a rather diminutive space, barely containing its two bunk beds, single bed, two old bureaus, and one small mirror that was glued to the wall. Looks like it wouldn't take much to cover it up. That was a relief. Nothing like waking up at night to find a dream demon peering out from the mirror at you, malevolent purple eyes shining in the darkness. I immediately took it upon myself to claim the top bunk nearest to the window. Some thoughtful Drone (my all-purpose slang for the vast majority of idiot staff, nurses, and doctors) had put a small shelf up at the bed's level. It was slightly loose and had a convenient little crack in the wall above it. How nice, I remember thinking as I stuffed my ratty school issued plain gray clothing (no pockets, long sleeves, drawstring pants) into a drawer and vaulted up on the bed to have a look. I remember thinking, 'I'll keep my blades up here.' Oh, yeah, don't give me that. Of course I managed to steal some blades from the infirmary. I've been here long enough that I know the shifts like the back of my hand. For "professionals" the Drones are way too careless. You know what, though? It's funny, someone thought they were being clever with that shelf, and they were really just helping the Darkness keep me a little while longer. Irony. How amusing in a dark sort of way. So anyway, I ghosted around the room for the rest of the day, wondering when the other occupants were going to get here. In the four years I've been here, I've had extremely bad luck with roommates. One was scared to death of me and tried to bash my skull in with his toothbrush. The next one was, well, let's just say that my experience with that guy was weird. The Drones would sometimes come for him in the middle of the day, pulling him out of class, out of our room, wherever he happened to be. Guy never said a word to me, but one day I came back to our room and his stuff was gone. It was weird. The last guy I roomed with I found dead, he had managed to bite his wrists open with his teeth sometime in the middle of the night. What a pleasant sight to wake up to in the morning, huh? At least when I cut I use something nice and sharp. I can't stand sloppy suicides. But you know, the worst part of the whole experience was the tiny scavenger spawnlings tearing at his aura's residual afterglow. Gruesome little beasts gave me the heebie-jeebies, just so damn quiet and so damn creepy at the same time. Ugh. I don't want to think about them right now. Would these new guys be schizos, splits, paranoids, or, maybe even hallucinators, like me? Yeah, that's back when I thought the demons and visions weren't real. But, hold on, I'll get to that, k? So here I was wondering about the little variety (aka freak) show I would probably soon be witnessing, lying on my bed, and staring out the window. I believe in multi-tasking my laziness. After a while I was deep in what some people call environmental withdrawal, and what I call meditation. I was so gone in my thoughts that when the first guy finally walked in, he scared the holy bejeezes out of me. So badly, in fact, that I rolled right of the bunk. Let me tell you, that hurt like hell. I had a bruise on my side for damn near forever afterwards. So I'm lying there on the floor, right? I'm clutching my braid in both hands as I tried to recover both my breath and my pride. I had my eyes shut tightly so I wouldn't have to look at the new guy and all I could think was, 'What a wonderful first impression?' Okay, none of use know that the others in our room can see demons or hear them and such so have your self be escorted tot eh room and introduce your self.

Ojo nodded to the new guy and smiled at Kain. "I think we should probably head for the breifing room to get a seat, not that it's starting anytime in like the next few minutes but just to get a god seat." She looked around and frowned slightly as she caught sight of Den. "Okay, anyone other then me notice that so far I am the ONLY girl here?" She smiled wide and looked at den as he scratched his leg. "Hey there, you wanna join us or sit here like a bump on a long?" He gave her a shapr look that to anyone else would ahve meant 'leave me alone.' but to her it was just a challange. "I'll take that as a nio, well anyway, I'm Ojo Yamasaki, I'm the doctor, not a nurse, I poke I prode, I never fondle." She gave him a sweet smile as she had everyone and a friendly wink and walked ahead of the other two as they watched Den glare at her back. She was sure if looks could kill, she would be deader then a door nail. But she had wramed even the toughest guys and girls into calling her friend, she was pretty sure she could do it again. "Well you comein' or what?" She walked into her would beoffice and drapped the jacket over her chair behind the little desk and then walked back out and into the sunshine as she watched a few gulls pass over head. "Well? You waitin for the grass to grow or what? You three will have roots by the time you move." She laughed out loud at all of their faces and continued into the breifing room and took a seat proping her feet onto the table waiting patiently for the others while humming an old sialors tune that she had heard a drunk sing one night in a bar.

She flipped back the lock of red hair that fell into her eyes and looked up at what would be her home and worl place for a while and sighed. It was always the saem, she got onto a ship and found nothing but cranky drunken men. Not that she minded, she liked getting smashed every now and then to make a friend but her job required her to be on her toes at all times. She walked up the ramp to get onto the ship and let her eyes roam around till they landed ont he room with the red medical cross on it. "Suppose that's me." She walked over and smiled sweetly as an officer stopped her. "Name and mission." "Ojo Yamasaki, Medical." He looked at her sheet and nodded. "Alright, just stay out of my way." She mock saluted and went into the little room she would be useing. "Oh wow...you think they would opt to get a bigger room for the size of the thing, must be very comfident." She unpacked her supplies and lined the trays the way she was suppose to and went out to look at the ship. She shed her outer white jacket to show the short white skirt and tight wihte and red tank top. She was a doctor and a nurse and showed the fact off. She smiled as the wind blew her hair back nearly takie her hat with it. This is what she loved the most the fresh open area of all of it. She let her lungs take in a huge lungful and then exhaled. She heard lightl clicking and followed it to where she saw a young amn close to her age hunckerd down over a lap top and smiled. She snuck up behind him and looked down over his shouder, her face closely next to his, her chin nearly resting on his hsoulder. He jumped and fell over. "Sorry!" She laughed as he clutched the lap top to his chest as he tried to slow his heart. "I didn't mean to scare you so badly I thought you heard me come in, my boots aren't really all that quiet." He looked up at her indignatly and frowned. "I see, your the computer geek? Right?" He frowned deeper making her laugh and sit down where he had been before her spooking him. "I always thought they were old perverts sitting behind a desk drinking lots of beer and trying to get a young hot thing like em on the other side." She laughed and winked down at him, holding out a hand she helped himup and checked for bruiseing. "You seems fine, sorry about the scare. The name is Ojo Yamasaki, I'm the doctor here now. I poke, I prode, I never fondle." She winked as he smiled back at her and let out a light laugh as he checked his lap top. "Sorry for that agian. So you mind making friends or am I talking to a silent bob here?" She held out his hand smileing as he took it and introduced himself

It had been years since any one could claim to have seen a wolf. Maybe a large dog from time to time but ever since the earth had frozen over and begun anew wolves were said to be wiped out completely. Rumors said that deep in the mountains there were packs that survived but no one had ever seen them. Technology now is so limited, since the frozen times everything that we had was destroyed or is now unfit to work. Looking out the window now I wonder what would happen if there were more wolves in the world. Another Ice Age like before? Or would it be different? I would hate to see humanity go through that again but I have to say that personally I weep to know that I will never hear the sorrowful song of a wolf pack in this area. Or anywhere else for that matter...Being a scientist has its dull days, today is just another on top of the many I have had. Waiting for something to happen, but around here nothing ever- "Osataka! I think we found something!" The young man looked up from his day dreaming thoughts and looked at the young girl in the door way, her cheeks flushed and her shoulders rising and falling as she tried to catch her breath. "What is it?" "I think you should come take a look." He ran with her back to the excavation site outside and felt his chest constrict with what was before him. "Is it a woman?" "Yes sir, and she is alive." He looked even more astonished. The girl was young and fair. Her hair a deep blue her skin dark and tan. "Find out all you can about her. Everyone else get her inside and thaw the ice around her, we have to see if we can revive her." An older man walked up to him his fist closed around something. "What do you have there?" "It came with the block of ice she was in. It says 'The way to paradise is through the blue moon.'" "That makes no sense." "I know sir." He waved it off and looked at the girl still unconscious and laying on a stretcher. Her clothing didn't look like it could have kept her very warm. It looked thin and skin tight. What intrigued him the most was like her hair; her clothing was all deep blue, even her boots and gloves. She looked no older then him, early twenties, maybe younger. She was pretty, and looked so peaceful. A large stone around her neck caught her attention, it was shaped as a sliver of a moon, not barely big enough to see, he blinked as a small portion of it in the middle turned black and looked at the sky watching as a small black cloud passed over the moon above him, the moon in the sky being exactly the same size as the one around her neck. He shook his head and followed the team into the building where he kept an eye on her. Something gave him chills about finding this girl he was about to shut the door when another of his coworkers came running up to him. "Sir! We just found this." He handed the young man a dog collar, worn brownish black leather, a small metal plate was in the middle, a large design that if looked at uncarefully looked like a K but as he looked more carefully it was a fancy H. "Sir this was found close by it." He handed over a name tag that was torn and weathered but could still be made out. "Hub. Isn't that the name of the husband of the Flower Maiden's scientist?" The man nodded. "If that is true then we are on the ground of Paradise where the wolves last left this planet. This is basically holy ground. Get the supplies together; we leave as soon as we have broken camp." He nodded and went on to tell the others. The head scientist looked back at the moon and then at the name tag and collar in his hands. "Something is about to happen, in nearly 100 years. Something big is about to happen..." 50 miles south from where they were digging a young girl walked through the snow, her shoulders hunched over fighting the wind as she found a cave to shelter herself in. "Damn, I was a fool to think I could find in this storm." A loud roar from the back of the cave made her look up as a large Polar bear stood up looking down at her. "You survived the Freeze did you?" The bear looked at her and then settled back to its feet growling softly. "I see. Well you should be thankful you alone made it, even if you are the last of your kind. I can sympathize though, from the rumors I have heard, I'm the only one left." The bear nuzzled her gently and she nuzzled back. "I suppose I should be off. If I don't find that place before sun up I'll never make it to Paradise." She smiled and waved then took off running through the storm and snow again. "Take care!" A loud roar followed her. As she ran she looked at the ice below her feet looking at her true reflection. Her bright green eyes and ivory white fangs, healthy pink tongue that hung out of her mouth as she ran. Her blue/grey and white fur blending in to match her surrounding perfectly making her look like just a shadow that passed by. She took note on her human appearance and thought that she must make a funny sight to those that are camped and have seen her. She filtered through her memory as she often did when on a long journey. Her mind took her back to the freeze that almost killed the planet but then gave it new life. How she had survived that terrible moment in her life. Her mother burrowing under the ground for days on end till one day things moved so quickly that she never had time to evaluate what had happened. Only her, her brother and her mother had made it down to the lowest part of the burrow, her father had been frozen as he had entered. Almost weeks, maybe months had gone by before they came out, her brother had gotten sick while underground, her mother had contracted it and both died two minutes after reaching the surface. She continued on, something had been pulling her in this direction for years and she was so close now she could feel it in her bones. She looked up tot eh sky, the moon was starting to fill and she realized that this time it had a distinct color to it. It was Blue. She ran more till she found an empty excavation sight and felt the string pulling her pull her East. Someone had found what she was seeking and now to find it she had to follow what ever had taken it from her. She took a deep breath and lay down in the deep snow. She would start in the morning following the scent and her instincts. For now she needed rest.
