Rin stood and lokoed at Sophia. "I will go as well, something tells me one fighter and a bunch of birds won't be much help for this, no offense." She reached under the tabled and pulled out her weapon, a seemingly double bladed spear, a blade on both ends. Sophia looked at it. "What is that?" "I call it a swallow. Let's get going. I suppose we'll meet at the gate?" She looked at Suzun for confirmation, this was, after all her job, she was not completely welcomed here...

Jura took off her over jacket, her eyes dark from anger, the other two wound spots dried and caked to her skin. she moved forward at a measured pace. "I have had a bad boat trip, I have been attakced by a sea monster, almost drowned by Gblins and than followed by some guy I don't even know, than you jackasses show up and seem to no t let me get ANY sleep that I SO need at this moment to not be the biggest bitch in the Ten-Towns...you all have picked a VERY bad evening..." Jura kicked out with her leg and wropped in aroung one of the ninja's neck and brought him down onto her other knee, blood spurted from his nose as it broke, she than fell to her knee dragging the man with her, slaming his face into the floor. "I am so sick of this shit, all I want to do is get al least an hours worth of sleep!" She stood up again and swung her leg out flinging the man across the hall, his shoes becoming unthreaded from the carpet. Jura then went after another, she ran at him from behind and as he turned she close-lined him in the neck, breaking it. She smiled, wicked and crazed. She walked up to the one that she had flung across as he woke up slowly, the others had stoped and were watching Jura. She placed a foot to the man's head and began to apply preasure to his temple, crushing his head. "Tell me why you are here, does the Chimera have control of a caln of humans here as well? If you value your life I would answer me." Heat waves began to radiate from her body as she filtered her magic into her foot, overheating the man's brain. He began to wirthe under Jura. "Speak! Or I will kill you." His fae mask began to sizzle as the heat grew more, she heard him whimpering under her. "If you wish to live tall me why your here!" "The Chimera controls the land to the north, a clan of ninja's live there." "Are you one of them?" "Yes!" "WHY ARE YOU HERE!" She leaned onto her foot and looked at Vice. "Tie him to the floor as you did before." Vice did as he was told and looked on. She smiled again, that smame wicked smile. "Now, why are you here?" "Th-The Chimera wants to rid him-sef of the people who will side witht the Black Dragons!" "Oh, really? And why is that?" "They are said to be the one's prophicized to defeat his power!" She put her weight on her leg adn frowned, his head caved in and his mask caught fire, leaving the carpet under him untouched. "Get some sleep everyone, we meet in the lobby at dawn, seems we have alot to talk about. You," She pointed at the man in black. "Irrelavent, you come with me, we need to talk about you and your caln, not only that, if you knew about this..." She grabbed her door and put it back on the hinges and walked into her room, closeing the door, waithing for him to enter.

Here's mine. Name: Mina Pon Age: 18 Position: Confessor. I'm adding more, to tell you what a confesor does... A confessor's power is descirbed as love. If A confessor touches a person that person become devoted to the confessor and the confessor can ask the person to do ANYTHING and the person will be more than happy. Cut off their hand smileing, die and keel over, betray everyone they know. There are no more female confessors at all if there is it is a mirical because to use the power take energy, a female needs no recovery time, which is what makes them so dangerous.

General Luke, Dictator of the eastern kingdom of High Rule, stared in consternation at the reports in his hand. The campaign to conquer the neighboring kingdoms in the Midlands to the west had been going smoothly for several years now and he had almost accomplished his objective, total domination. After the initial token resistance, each kingdom had been thoroughly crushed. His army was unbeatable by anything the individual kingdoms could offer. Luke had made sure of that. Though Wild magic occurred widely throughout the Midlands, High magic was prevalent in the east. So, in order to remove the threat Wild magic might have to his army, Luke had sent special squads of soldiers to hunt down and kill those that had anything to do with that ancient power. He had done so secretly about three years before he began his invasion. Because of the destruction caused by Luke's sorcerers to other magical beings, the Midland kingdoms were almost helpless to defend themselves. Each individual kingdom did have it's own army, but without the support of the beings of power, not one of the kingdoms could stand up to Luke's army. And their own petty jealousies kept them from uniting and fighting Luke as one unit. Thus they were doomed when Luke turned his sights to them. But now, even though he was one step away from total domination of the Midlands, he still felt trepidation. He had to conquer each individual country as quickly as possible. The reports coming in from the south were rife with warning. His predecessor who had begun the campaign had died unexpectedly of heart failure, and the investigators were unable to determine if it had been natural or assassination of a magical nature. Luke had doubled his security and magical wards. Up until now, things were going as smoothly as possible. Then two reports appeared on his desk, each one of them heralding a change, though not even Luke could predict the far-reaching affects they would have on the upcoming events. The first one was the most concerning to the General. A battalion of foot soldiers patrolling the southwestern border between Konros and Golgatha near Chaska, led by General Padua, an old friend of Luke, had been attacked an wiped out to a man. Subsequent investigations couldn't find a damned conclusive thing. It may have been magic, or it may have been an exceptionally well thought out attack. The second report was less concerning, but still demanded attention. A sighting of a powerful creature in the kingdom of Chaska needed to be dealt with. He had thought they had successfully wiped them out. But apparently they had missed one. Well, he could solve this problem easily. He called to his aide. "Please tell the Captain to report to me as soon as possible." The aide saluted as left, reappearing some fifteen minutes later with the slender dark-haired captain in tow. The young man known as Captain, was an exceptional soldier. He never failed his missions. He never failed period. He ate, breathed and slept his duty. He was one of the few people Treize held with genuine respect, and a little fear, though he would never show it. "Have you heard about General Padua's battalion?" Luke starting without preamble, was not surprised by the affirmative nod. Gossip spread faster than dust in a summer windstorm in any army. "What do you make of it?" The half-human half-demon Capitn?s eyes narrowed in thought. He knew he was being tested, albeit gently. "It appears Golgatha might be making a move." Luke nodded in agreement. He knew they weren't ready, but if this were the case they would have no choice but to fight. But Luke hadn't called the captin in to discuss General Padua's demise. The captain had another specialty. "Have you seen the reports from Chaska?" He shook his head. Luke handed him the report and waited while the captin skimmed the pages. "It appears a creature has been spotted in several villages in the area of the Korona Plains. There is no confirmation but we can't take any chances that it may have anything to do with Padua. I need you to investigate this. Be careful, but if you can, bring it back alive for questioning." Luke hadn't even planned that last part, usual standard of operation was to kill it by any means necessary. But as soon as the words were out of his mouth, he liked the idea. It was most amusing was watching the captin trying to keep his jaw clamped shut so it wouldn't scrape the floor. Luke knew that he had gotten all the reaction he could out of the captin for one session, but it was worth it. Sometimes he said things just to see how far he could push the captin?s self control. "Good luck Captain. Dismissed." Luke watched the young man execute a perfect salute and turn and stride from the room. After the door closed, he murmured, "You're going to need it." United Kingdom of Chaska, Midlands Three weeks after the Dictator-General had dismissed him, the captin was getting frustrated. They had scoured every inch of the countryside of where the massacre had taken place, and turned over every rock in every nearby village, but there was no sign of the creature. Being on horseback for days on end was bad enough, but now it felt like they were riding in circles with no rhyme or reason. Even his gaurd, who had a knack for sensing magic, was unable to find more than the slightest trace. The weather itself was making life as miserable as possible too. It had been very hot and humid, but it refused to rain. Sweat clung to the soldiers' uniforms and dampened their hair. It was enough to make all of them irritable, and the short remarks came more and more frequently. Though he knew that the others had faith in his abilities as a soldier, the captin could sense their growing doubts. He couldn't blame them. He had his own doubts too. But failure was unacceptable, so he insisted they keep on looking. He resolutely spurred his white stallion into a ground-eating jog. The great beast pinned its ears against its neck in irritation, lather dripped down its neck, which was dark with sweat. It too hated this aimless wandering, preferring instead to charge into battle or race its brethren. The youngest in the group of four, the only one in the group who had any abilities when it came to magic, was handling communications through the use of a telepathy spell. He was able to relay messages from each member of the squad with a mere thought. He was trying not to let the uncertain thoughts of the other two filter through to the captin but sometimes he couldn't stop it. The mental arguments were giving him a headache, but he kept the pain firmly tucked away, intent on doing his job. His palomino mare sensed her rider's discomfort and made her pace as smooth as possible. She wasn't as big as the stallion of the captin, but she was just as loyal to her rider and would fight to the death for him. The oldest in the group, a former army scout turned ranger, knew that his younger brother was in pain. He could tell just by looking at his face and eyes that were often clouded. But his brother made no comment on it so he kept silent as well, respecting the other's privacy and attention to duty. He never said much anyhow, preferring the solitude of the forests and plains to the uproar of the towns and cities. He was one of the best trackers in the business. It was said he could follow a wraith back to its lair and know what it had for breakfast four days earlier. An exaggeration of course, but not by much. His own mount, a copper chestnut stallion was a muscular beast, made more for power than speed. He wasn't quick, but he could go all day. He was probably the most even-tempered of the steeds. He had stood without flinching as a huge grizzly had come barreling down on them. He had, of course, killed the bear with an expert bowshot through the left eye mere meters from where they had stood The swordsman was by far the deadliest of the group. He was a blademaster, no less. Put a sword in his hand and he was literally unbeatable. He was also arrogant, blunt to the point of being rude and had a vicious temper. He had been assigned to the captin?s squad because no one else could put up with him. His skills made him invaluable, but his temperament made him a liability. His dapple-gray mare had a temper to match her rider's. But when it came to close quarter fighting, there was no horse better trained to kick or strike with deadly accuracy. Him and the captin had worked together before and to everyone's surprise, they got along quite well. (Much to the disappointment of those who were making bets on who would kill whom first) he respected the captin and followed his orders. The captin treated him with courtesy and listened to his ideas. In the end, everyone was satisfied. "This is unsatisfactory," The blademaster stated with his usual bluntness, wiping away the sweat that dripped in his onyx eyes. "Captin, are you sure that this creature exists?" he asked for the umpteenth time. "Yes, it is a logical explanation for what happened. We will just keep looking," Okay, so there are 4 in the group looking for the Confessor which is me, at the point you are in the forest, you?ll run into the Confessor soon. Signups: Name: Age: Position: (Captin, Tracker, Magic user, or Blademaster. Remember the Captin is a Demi-human(half-human, half-demon)

OCC: Hey, Falre, you need to read posts more carefully, she walked away and was at her room with the other guy kay? Just letting you know. Jura looked at him and smiled. "My wound is not in teh interest at this moment, what is is this, you are a clan fighter in this city aren't you?" She stood and walked around him as he moved from the wall. "Not surpriseing. I thought the members of the fighters here would be more open to a compliment about one's name." She smiled again and sat back down, She placed a hand on her leg and whispered a small spell and the wound was gone. She looked back at him, her face serious. "So have you heard anything on the raids of this town...of corse you have, you live here...What are the major troubles?" She walked over to the window and looked out seeing Vice walking by she growled. "I swer if he streals from a child again or says one more smartass remark to me I'll kick his ass, his getting om ny nerves!" She watched as he beagn to walk by and flung open the window. "VICE! GET YOUR ASS IN THIS INN NOW! I SAID SUNDOWN AND THAT"S WHAT IT IS!" She sat there waiting for him to make a smart remark to her, the man in black still behind her.
-
Jura looked at the man closely before she shrugged. "Look, you can follow me if you want, me and my crew, the weirdos that they are, are here to defend Targos." She slipped past him and down the alley headed for the Inn, something todl her she needed to go there first. Something about the man in black intrigued her, something that felt like she knew him from somewhere. She walked past the Emporium and found Vice, he seemed to be buying alot for what little money she thought she had, she snuck up behind him, her elven feet silnet. "If you put a bad name on me or this crew, I'll kill you Vice. Your here to defend this city, not steal from it." she walked away, the man in black tailing her not to closely, walking to the inn she got her room and led the man there. She sat on the bed. "So, your name is irrelavent right? Funny name who gave it to you? Your father?" She smiled, being a smartass could be fun.
-
Jura frowned slightly. "I don't need help, I'm fine on my own..." She made to move around him again and sighed as he wouldn't let her. "What do you want? I am just going through so I can get supplies. I'm fine stranger. Thanks though." She knew she was being alittle cold but she was tired, and hurt and just wanted to find the inn so she could rest. She knew he meant her no harm but with the foul trip she had just gotten through with, she could care less. Sea monsters, and Goblins. She was tired. She tunred to go another way and blinked as her was there. "You don't give up do you? What's you name stranger?" She looked up at him trieing to see beneath the robe.

WheDesh looked at Yuea. 'n she looks at your's and Omrie's wounds, she's taking them to her own body, since it's her magic, I cannot help her heal.' He looked at Satsuki. 'I think she took to much this time, she still hasn't recovered from the others a little while ago. Didn't you ever wonder why your wounds healed so quickly?' Satsuki moaned alittle and whimpered from the pain. Rin looked at Suzun. "Glad to know your serious abou this." she smiled and looked at everyone else. "I'm here for my own reasons, they are none of anyone's mind, if I wanted you to know I would have told you. Suzun hired me and I'm here bt free will. You could be fighting against me." She placed a hand on the now, on the ground table and looked at Suzun. "So, do you have a plan younger sister?" She saw the anger redden her cheeks and smiled. "Calm down, I'm just pissing you off for fun." Suzun's cheeks turned redder. "And it seems to be working...but seriously, do you have a plan." The seriousness in her voice and face told them she was doen playing.

Jura heard them throw the rope to Shea'ann but didi not venture out to meet her, she was to deep in thought. 'Goblins, on water...it's not natrual, this Chimera has more power than we're giving him...' She looked at her wounds and was glad when 10 minutes later she heard the ship dock in Targos. She retreated from her cabin dressed in her normal attire, a white cloak about her shoulders now. She looked at her crew in turn and sighed. "we'll split up for now, meet at the Inn at sundown, til than stock up on supplies you need and feed yourselves, your in a town, you can do that for your selves this time without cooks. And Hedron, go see your mother, I'm sure she's worried." Hedron scoffed and smiled. "She's fine." "This place has been inveaded by goblins, more than once by the looks of it. Go and check on her." He nodded and she tunred headding down the north alley as the others split off as well. She was limping slightly for the wound on her leg, but she held her composure well.

No sign ups are not closed I forgot to mention that sorry everyone, they'll be open for a while. PS, nice to see you back Kayin. :animesmil

"This is not good damnit!" She ran to the side of the ship and opened a door. "Hedron, we could use a little help." Hedron came from the cabin, a giant war axe in hand and began to wipe the goblins from the ship. "Hoe much onger til Targos Hedron?" "Not long Jura, bout' an hour or so." She growled as a goblin dagger snak into her leg. "I am so sick of these bastards I could die!" Her eyes filled with falmes as her temper rose, Hedron saw the look and grabed Hue away from Jura. "I'd get back if I were you lassy, Jura may not have many fire powers to her magic, but when she's pissed, well, call out for barbeque." She walked slowly across the deck, goblins that touched her burst into flame and died. She grabed a hold of a rope and stood on the edge of the ship, she looked and her crew and her old teper was back, she winked at them and smiled. "Good luck." She took the rope and swung off the ship into the water. Hue looked at Hedron. "She'll be killed, there are tomany goblins in teh water!" "She's knows what she's into Hue." Jura swam under the boat and found a crack in the hull, her thoughts weer that of not good. She swam to the water outake pipe and found the problem, a goblin had gotten stuck in it, that's why they weren't moving. She grabed the dead goblin by thre throat and tugged hard dislodgeing the body the ship began to move slowoly away from teh horde in the water. She came up for air to see the Sae Wench sailing away from her. "Quoben! Throw me a rope!" A rope lnaded in the water next to her but when she was brought upon the deck she saw that the one who had pulled her up, was Ky. "I geuss I should thank you." She took her boot and kicked a dead goblion from the deck. "We should be there soon." She had her hadn to her side from a shallow stab there, her leg and shoulder also bleeding, but she was holding up fine. "Lets get some rest everyone...we've got a lot to do whe nwe get there..." She waslked away and to her cabin closing the door.

Jura had walked into the dineing hall and placed a plater of fish down infront of everyone and smiled as they had dug in, Vice had looked at her strangley agian. She smiled. She was begining to warm up to her crew. After all they would save her life some day, they already had. She looked at her crew in turn and noticed Hue was missing. She walked outside and heard the music, she leaned against the rail of the ship and sighed. She wasn't sure how this was gonna go anymore. She looked out into the night fog and squinted for a moment and than frowned, she looked harder and cursed. "Goblin ship...." She raced across the deck as arrows flew into the wood behind her, she hit the door to the dineing hall and cursed as an arrow hit her shoulder, blood blossomed from her shirt. She flung open the door and ripped the arrow out. she looked at the others and sighed. "In other words, we are under attack." Quoben looked up. "Again?" "Well, going to Targos was a risk you took it, deal with it." She ran to Hue's room and knocked. "We have problems...care to help?" She ran back and looked at Vice, She nodded. "There's an island not to far from here if you care to try... I can smell the sand from here. Not even a mile." She drew her sword as grapling hooks hit the side and began to cut them loose. "Vice, if you want to prve yourself, now's the time." She burnt a goblin as it climbed aboard with a quick flame. "Vice! You are not the only one on this ship, I know you don't think you can trust us...but even if you don't. Your in danger to. This ship goes down...ALL of us go down." She went back with the others cutting away goblins as they boarded.
-
Rin looked up, her gazr piercing all who were there. "Are we here to disscuss birds, or how to save these people?" They looked at her in disgust, thinking her intentions were money based. "All I'm saying is if this is all we have we better make damn good and sure we wanna do this. So what do we have to work with, other than me?" The girl with bells on her feet stood. "And what make you so speacial?" Rin smiledas she put the flute to her lips. "I know what my people are capible of, and I know for a fact that if this is all we get, we can kiss these plans on saving Morgana down the drain. I'm not trying to sound big and bad here but ther are others in this room that know what I am talking about." She looked around and sat back down. "Suzun, the final choice is yuors, fo corse. I'll stand behind you 100%. Know that."
-
Rin walked over to Suzan and sat down. "You think they will listen?" "Rin, not now." "Fine, just don't forget, I'm only here for the money. I'm still a Grebcosen." "I know." "Good." Rin sat downa dn looked around as a cloaked man or woman for that matter, she couldn't tell, walked in. She was there partly for the money, but also for the way that the Mindains were being treated, she had seen the truth of her people's hate and wanted no part of it. She looked back at Suzan, she was dep in thought. This is what she was afraid of, that the Mundains would run the girl down adn make her forget her purpose. "Don't think on it Suzan, you have bigger fish to catch right now. You ahve a meeting to hold." She saw Suzan nodd, she knew the kidnapping of Morgana was not so light on the younger sister's heart. Rin sat back and waited, just as she was paid to do.

Hedron ran to the side and threw a rope around one of the tenticals and lashed to the ship holding it down tightly. "This is why I don't like whelps upon my ship." Jura took off her over shirt til she was in just a white under shirt, her black pants and boots still on she ran to where she saw Vice enter and kicked the door open. "We have some company, care to make it feel welcome?" She ran to the other side of the boat where Ky was looking for Hue and Quoben. "I don't see them Jura..." "Bloody hell..." She handed him a rope and tied it around her-self and gave it to Ky, pulling Vice by tyhe shirt she gave the end to him. "I'm going in, when I tug, pull." They nodded an watched as she ran to the other side and ran back leaping off and into the water, as she fell down she unsheathed her dagger and caught the side of the beast and drug down making a huge gash. She dived into the water and found Quoben first. Pulling the dagger up and into the beast she pulled down and across cutting him lose, she tugged on the rope and felt the others pulling her up, she threw Quoben onto the deck before they got her aboard and let go again and fell back into the water, she than searched for Hue, finding the female Tiefling she did the same , cutting her loose she made sure she was back aboard and safe. "That should do it. Hedron! Get this piece of shit out of this thing's range." "On it Jura!" She sttod infront of the others smileing, Vice looked at her, she knew he didn't like her all that well, but he would get over it. Ky looked astonished that she would go that far. She was about to take a step when she felt the tentical wrap around her ankle and try to drag her down. "Oh, I don't think so ugly bastard." She took the bastard sword from her back and made a clean, quick swipe across and kicked the tentical off the ship. She held up and piece that was left on board from their escape. "I think I know what's for dinner..." SHe looked around and looked at Hue and Quoben, both had been revived and were being looked after. Quoben looked at her. "Why did you do something that crazy?" "My crew comes first. I may be mean, and a bit judgemental, but nothing comes between me and my crew. Nothing."
-
Jura looked around at her crew and sighed. "This is gonna be a long trip Jura." "I'm aware of this Hedron." She walked around and found a nice little barrel, empty of corse and threw it against the side busting it, she smiled as they all stared at her. "I've had enough of this shit! We either get along, or I make this ship stop here, in the middle of no-where and we wait til we all can get along. I don't trust a singal one of you, but that doesn't mean when the time comes I won't call on you to help me fight. Now you can all straighten up or jump overboard. I could care less. And you two!," She pointed to Vice and the other rouge. " I hear any more squabbles I'll end em my-self." Vice stood and looked at her showing her both his eyes, she turned her head sideways and studied him. She smiled at him and walked over. "You think you firghten me? Nothin on the face of this planet frightens me anymore Tiefling. So don't try it. I don't think you want to." She looked him over more, she walked around more and sat down to her-self. The ship was silent now...she wanted it to stay that way as she retreated into her own thoughts.

Climbing aboard the Sea Wench Jura looked around, her pointed ears hidden under her long hair, she looked around and scoffed as she spotted the captin, Hedron, an old buddy of her's and a bum none the less. "Hedron, how much longer must we wait for the others to board and get this thing into the sea?" "Have patince young Jura...I'm sure more will be 'long any moment now." "For your sake as well as that of Targos, I hope to the silve Selune you are correct. Do you know how many are joing the journey to Targos, answering the plea for help?" "No clue 'ow many there'll be." "Well I do hope there are enough to help the Ten-Towns." Aye me too, Jura, how do suppose you'll fair in the port town of Targos?" "I have not a clue Hedron, I just hope I'm not the only one on this wreck of a ship going to Targos...I do hope there are others..." Jura walked to the side of the large ship and looked down onto the small port below, she sighed and looked at the sky, it was always black now that the mysterious Chimera had taken over nearly all the land around the Ten-Towns. she waited with what little patince she had for others to arrive and fall in for the town of Targos, and the other towns still left alive...She looked on as others began to board the boat, she could pick the rouges from the others, but one person caught her eye, he was a tiefling, he hid it well but he seemed to himself. "Hedron, are these people who will be helping me on this fight?" "I'm sure some of them are...And I assure you you will meet more in the twon of Targos." "Yes I'm sure as well." Another man stood beside her as the boat took to the sea and began to move. He looked at her and smiled. "Can I help you?" He just shook his head and walked away, laughing, Hedron came up beside her. "Seems y'have a tough crowd in this one Jura." "It would appear so." "And it seems as if you have alot there that don't look to trust worthy." "That is not a problem Hedron, i do not trust easily." "You trust me." She looked at him and smirked.

'Satsuki, you need to get out of the water, your still losing alot of blood...' "I'm aware of this Desh, but I think I would rather be clean than anything." 'As always.' "Thanks, sorry I snapped." She climbed from the creek, the spot she was washing in now completely red from her spilling blood. She sat on the bank, her back to the woods and began to apply the herbs to her wounds on her legs and arms. "Hey Desh, you think you can gimme a hand?" 'Of corse.' Desh trnsformed into his human form and began to apply the herbs to her bare back and shoulders, his form a ghostly white, and smokey clear.
