Vey fired cannon after cannon with Zero the whole time thinking about Heero and Katrina and everything that had happened. "So, Vey you love this guy right?" "Yes, what's it to you?" "Just being protective, thats all." "Whatever, look these things aren't doing shit, lets go!" Vey jumped form the cannon room in time to see hooks latching onto the Rose. "OH HELL NO!" She ran forward and began to cut the ropes as the bandits climbe forward. She heard the scream as one feel into the water. She looked at the ship and stomped her foot. "Look you! I know you understand me! You either get us the hell away from this particular dock or we'll be killed." The ship shuddered and began to move. "Zero! Take the Helm I'm going into the town." She jumped onto the dock and ran into the town the first place she went to was the Old Clam. It burned to the ground with red hot flames. "NO! GRANDMOTHER!" Vey turned as a footstep was heard and gasped. "No, I kill you...I killed you for killing my f-father..." A man stood before her, bleach blond hair and brown eyes, he was handsome but wicked, the man that made Vey a prirate. Captin Convine. "You thought you killed me girlie." He pulled down the shoulder of his shirt to show burn scars and a bullet scar that any lower would've killed him instantly. "You had bad aim back then Dear Vey Flower." "Don't you call me that...You slimey bastard..." "You Do remeber me than...good, I'm going to kill you now. Like I should have done back than." "You can try." He came at her his sword raised and ready, she met him with her's both sang as they met and viberated. "I'll avange my father and kill you for good this time Morgan!" "Vey, you were always below me, in everything. Even in fighting." She eached back and cold cocked him in the jaw. "Maybe, but I've grown Morgan." He wiped blood from his lip and rose to his feet. "So you have Vey Flower." "Don't call me that." She ran forward and tripped him her sowrd point to his throat. "Surrender?" "Not today Vey." He brought his sword sideways across her stomach and gashed her there. "You ass!" He smiled and charged, her blood splattered the ground here and there as she fought. Fought for her life, fought for the ship, fought to see Heero again. "I'm not giving up this time Morgan! I'll die before that!" "That can be arranged!" She screamed as a dagger embedded it-self into her theigh. She wrenched it out and threw it into his shoulder where it stayed as the fought each other.

Vey ran for all she was worth, Heero had instructed her to go through the town and make sure everyone was safe, after doing so she was to return to the Rose. She looked beside her at Zero, he had insited that he come along as well. "Zero! You could be killed!" "At least I'd have been helping you." Vey shrugged and kept running she saw Jericho emerge form the pub and yelled. "Jericho! The Rose NOW!" He nodded and picked up speed, they ran onto the Rose's deck just as the bandits took their place. Vey frowned as she heard murmurs from them. "That girl...Looks like John Moltohina...his daughter?" She listened carefully and frowned more. "I know them...my father destroyed their fleet...seems old Blue hasa new crew. Walter Blue! Is that you you old bat?" "So you do know me?" "Hmph, it's him alright. Don't let your gaurd down even for a second. Heero! This is Zero, he's volenteered to help." Heero nodded. "Whatever Vey." She nodded and looked at Zero, tall and strong, brown hair and green eyes. "Cannon room now." They ran and dropped down to the cannons. "Load em' but don't move till Heero says." "Got it Vey, and one thing, becareful." Vey smiled sadly. "Always..." She looked at Zero and winked. "Hey do ME a favor, go tell Heero that I need him alive and not to die okay?" He nodded and left. She followed him to the opening and as soon as he was out she closed the latch locking it tightly, Zero whilred around and banged on the door. "VEY! VEY! OPEN THIS DAMN DOOR!" "Tell Heero I love him and to take care of Katrina." She turned and looked out the window watching the bandits approche. "Come on boys, lets go...the last line of the Moltohina blood. I'll kill you slimey bastards." She waited pateintly for Heero's command or the sound of him banging furiously at the latch.

Bravie stood behind Akai and sighed rolling her eyes. "well what do you think? Is he trust worthy?" "The warrior nodded curtly. "On this particular mission yes, after this is done tend to him as you will." Bravie saw Ryu smile slightly and shivered at it She tapped Akai on the shoulder and mothioned ofr him to follow her. "I'll show you where you'll stay." He nodded and followed her looking all around the building. "If you have any questions, lemme know, I've been put as you 'advisor'."

Mina looked ruffeled and tired but she straightened none the less and blushed at her apperance. "Come in, come in...what price?" She shut the door behind them and sat on her bed, the silk nightgown framing her and reaching her ankels. She ran a hand through her ahir and looked at Aaron. "what price?"

Satsuki folded her clothes and lay them by the stream and waded in, she shivered as the cold water woke her up. "Brr...that's cold." She took a deep breathe and dived in, coming up she kicked her feet adn begane to scrub some of the dirt on her skin, and hair. After she finished she wadded back out and blinked as Yeua smiled and waved at her. "YEUA! what are you doing?" She droped down to where the water covered her. Are you out of your mind? I oughta kill you!" He smiled more and sat down. "I wanna talk." "While I'm naked?" "Better setting." "For whom? You? Or me?" "Me." "Thought so...what?" "Did you get a weird feeling last night?" "Wha?"

It was morning and Jericho busting into her room woke her. "Sandor's coming up! Get up Vey!" She groaned and rolled out of bed, she looked at Katrina's side, she didn't come back, she smiled sadly as she wondered what they had done and shuddered at the thought. "Gross, bad image..." She ran to the deck and looked out smileing. She knew Sandor as well, her father had brought her here. "I wonder..." Docking she leaped from the ship and took off through the streets and stopped breathing heavily at a pub. "The Old Clam..." She walked in and whisteled loudly, a dirty blonde figer launched it-self at her and takled her. "VEY!" "Zero! You still here?" "Yup! Ella too." "Wonderful...So what can I help with?" An elderly women came around the corner and laughed. "I thought that was you Vey Flower. How are you? Is your father here?" Vey smiled and handed her mothers locket to the old women. "Father and mother were killed Grandmother. I'm sorry." "Not to worry, so you here with that big red ship?" "The Devils Rose. Yup." Zero wrapped his arms around Vey and planted a kiss on her neck. "Good to have you home Vey." "Good to be home." She leaned into the embrace and sighed.

Vey shool her head as Heero sent Katrina away. "He doesn't get it." She took a step forward when Jericho grabbed her arm. "Don't Vey he needs time to think." "Think? The last time I was given time to think, I jumped off the side." She walked over to Heero and sat down beside him as he steered the Rose. "Heero don't stand there like zombie, I know you see me here. Talk." "I...I can't" "Thats a load of bull if I ever heard it. Heero you once told me that if you want to be the person you want to be then be it." "N-No I didn't." "Right, so you do remeber. Good, actually Pops told me that one." He looked out over teh sea nad siged. "Vey they took-" "-Everything. I know." "I'm afraid for anyone to even touch me." "Thats how I flt, than Katrina gave me a much needed slap in the face...Litterally. Look I almost let me destroy my-self, but Heero I saw that no matter where I go this always brings me back. This ship, the water, the freinds, and you DO have freinds Heero. And a l-lover...don't push her away Heero, you have to let someone in..." "I let you in..." "I'm an acception to that rule, I KNOW what you've been through. But if you feel that right now I'm the only one you wanna talk to than fine." Vey sat there silent for a momnt and sighed. She had an idea. She stood silently and krept up behind Heero, she planted both hands on his sides and waited. "W-Waht are you doing Vey?" She smiled wickedly and began to tickle Heero. "Whoa! Vey stop!" Vey smiled as he laughed, even if it was a forced laugh it wasn;t lost completely. She released him and smiled as he whriled around, for a moment she saw the old Heero, the one she loved, but it slipped and he was gone. "Not now Vey." Vey shrugged, unlike Katrina she knew how to make a person break. She sat back down and waited. "Heero, how far do you think Sandor is?" "Around another days sailing." "Good, I'm bored." He blinked and closed his eyes. "Heero?" "What Vey?" "How tall are you?" "What?" "How tall are you?" "I dunno." "You dunno?" "No, I don't know." She chuckled, he souned like the old Heero but his eyes were dull, she looked closer and noticed something was missing. His father's medallion. She snuck away quietly and into his bunk, finding it she walked back out only to be stoped by Katrina. "Listen Vey, just because he pushed me away doesn't mean he's yours for the taking." "I didn't calim that Katrina. I know what he's going through so he's talking to me, nothing more. I told him he had you. He can;t handle physical love right now, get it?" She didn't wait for an answer, she walked away and towards Heero. She walked up behind him slowly and gently put the medallion around his neck. She leaned n and hugged him form beind, almost ghostly so he could barley feel it. "Don't quit Heero, don't ever quit, you father wouldn't want you to."

Satsuki yawned. "Moring, sleep well?" "Yes." "Let me see your side, I think you should be okay." She pined him to the ground and lifted up his shirt looking at the gree bruise. "Leave those on for at least two more days, that aleo they're soaked in helps alot too." She smiled and streched. "Well scince you cooked this lovely morning, you can clean dear freind." He blinked as she swiped a piec of squrille form the spit. "Hmm, not bad, next time try rubbing sage on them before cooking them, they don't dry out so bad." She winked and set off into the woods. Yeua called after her. "Wait, where are you going?" "Just cause I'm traveling with guys don;t mean I gotta smell like one, I found a stream here last night, Im gonna go wash up and get a drink. I'll be back." She waved as she dissappered, the pole ever present on her shoulders.

Vey stood at the front like she had done so many times before, it was like coming home. She loked at Heero's quarters and sighed, she knew, she knew all to well. "I have to do something...I-I have to come home." She went below and to her bed, lifted up the matress and took out the bandages and alchohol. She looked up at Katrina and smiled, a real smile. "If you hear a scream, it's him." She laughed and walked away torwads Heero's cabin, she opened the door slowly aware of the glint of the gun in his hands, her voice was soft and light as she spoke. "Heero, it's Vey...I'm here to help you..." She whimpered as she found the gun to her skull and Heero's face so close to her's she could feel his breathe, it made her shiver but she had other things to do. She frowned and caught his wrist mwrenching behind his back, he let out a cry more like a roar as he fouhgt. "Your weak Heero. Don;t try to fight, sit your ass down and relax, you know me." His face cleared and he slumped to the floor. "Oh, gods Vey...I know how you felt that day now." A shiver ran through her. "Forget about it. Look I have to see where your hurt, you have to let me see." She lifted the bottle and let the alchohol run along his body, she giggled as he screamed. "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?" "Pops special remedy, it'll go away in a few seconds." "It's good to hear you laugh again." Her hands paused. "Heero, I wasn;t so scared as I was embaressed that it happened...I was so afriad that you would throw me off for being weak." "I know how that feels..." "Heero, if there's one thing I learned in Calmb, it's this. You take a pirate form the water, but you can never take the water from the pirate. Look, I know how you feel, trust me if anyone does it's me. Katrina told me something and I think it helped. You have to belive that something in your life is worth living for." "What's worth living for?" Vey tied the last bandage and kissed his cheek placing the medallion in his open palm. "That you have a purpose in this life and people who love you." She stood and walked to the doorway and stoped. "Heero, if you quit, I quit. I'll follow you no matter what so...don't ever quit okay?" Her voice broke with her tears as she spoke and she left the flute in her hands, in less than a minute the Devils Rose was rocking to the tune of Vey Moltohina.

It was way after dark and Vey had had enough. "I can't stay here and act like I'm not hurting." She loaded a skif and put it in the water, she jumped in wincing slightly. Picking up the ors she began to row to the north and a small village called Calmb. She knew the village well, she had been born there. She didn't have to go far, about 3 hours later she pulled the small boat onto the shore and walked into Calmb set on leaving her past behind her, unaware the Devil's Rose was already turning corse and chaseing her down. A week later she found her-self in a local resturant washing dishes. The business was keeping her mind from things and she was begining to smile like she used to when the bell rang. "Flower! Two orders of the special and One malt beer!" "Got it Mac!" She snatched the ticket and began to prepare the food when a familiar voice made her drop the plate and shatter it. "What makes you think she's here Heero?" "The Rose took us here and that means she's here." "What are you gonna do when you find her?" "What else scold her and bring her back." "What of she's happy here?" "Than it's her choice." She beant down quickly to retrive the broken glass when she cut her hand, another worker came over and stilled her hand. "Flower? What's the matter?" "Nothing Jim, I'm fine." She stood and went about washing the dishes, trieing to keep the visions of Jericho and Heero from her head. [I]I fell in love, got broken, I fell into a family that didn;t want me there. I won't go back.[/I] She bent down and searched for a bowl when the presence of someone behind her startled her. "Vey..." She looked up into the faces of Katrina and Heero.

Satsuki shook her head and smiled. "Tough guy act...figers." She stood and took the trench coat from the ground putting around Omrie's shoulders to keep the chill that had setteled in off him, she brushed some of the hair out of his eyes and blinked. Turning to Yeua she handed him a plate and took one for her-self. She shovled a bit into her mouth and chewed lazily. "Ya know this ain't so bad...at least it's quiet." She finished her meal and leaned on the tree she was closest too resting her chin on her chest she began to doze lightly, dreaming of her home and the kids she grew up with.

Years before man kind was born a war raged between heavan and earth, heaven was fighting to save the life that had been created to live on the planet while earth wanted nothing more to destory it. Satsuki waved him off like a fly. "Don't mention it, look I know what you mean, just try not to move so much or I'll have to rebreak that for it to heal right, and trust me thats nasty business." Yeua came bac not long after with wood and Satsuki pulled a ackage from her bag and smiled at Omrie. "Stir fry okay with you?" She smiled warmly at him, trieing to get him to warm up to her, she knew what it was like with no freinds, she absently rubbed her arm tht was broken when he was little by a neighboring gang, having no freinds was sometimes hell on wheels.

Vey woke up to hearing voices outside her room. "Don't blame your-self Katrina." "Don't blame your-self either Heero." Vey bit hre lip from screaming or crieing, she felt selfish and cold for being weak again. She stood on shaky legs, she was still hurting from the crule treatment. She opened her door to see Heero holding Katrina. "Sorry, didn't mean to inturupt...I'm gonna g check on-um Jericho." She limped past holdign her side as pain lanced through her. Katrina caught her arm. "Vey, you should be in bed." Vey whirled around on her eyes black with rage. "So should you, you have a feakin hole in your stomach and you walk around like your super women! Don't trat me like a child anymore Katrina, I'm not stupid, I know what happend to me and I know what could happen. I'm 17 not 7." Her cheek were flushed as she renched her arm from Katrina's grasp. "I don't need your sympathy, and I don't need your care. You want to do me favors? Stay away from me." Katrian blimked back the tears knowing Vey spoke out of the anger at the men who harmed her but te words bit none the less. Heero steped in. "Apologize Vey Moltohina." Vey froze, Heero had never used her full name, she looked at him with fear and turned pale. He had that look and she trembled. "I'm s-sorry, just don't-don't hurt me." She dropped to her knees and covered her face shivering. The foot fall jerked her face upward to lok at Heero leaning over her and her eyes went wide. "NO!" She jumped to her feet and ran to Jericho's room shutting the door she slide down it and sobbed. "Vey? Whats wrong girl?" "Jericho...I don't know what to do...." Jericho's eyes were dull and soft, her had heard from Katrina what had happened and tried to comfort the trembling girl who had her face buried in his cot screaming.

"Your stubbron to a fault aren't you?" Satsuki leaned on a tree near the path and grnned as Omrie looked at her. "Hey easy partner...don't want you bustin a blood vessle over little old me now." She tossed him a thick branch, almost like a cane but longer and sturdier. "Use it you nag. At least I'll know than that one of the team is willing to keep him-self from going gimp." Omrie looked at her and frowned. "Fine don't take the advice, but I'll tell you now, I know enough about crap like that to tell you that when we rest tonight you had better let me take a look at that or you'll get hurt even worse." He frowned again/ "I don't take orders from you." "Nope you don't. But if you wanna keep your-self in fighting fit, you might want to. People in that town are stronger than they look. And by the way your stumbling around I'd go far enough to say you either have a fractured rib or a broken one." "How would you know that just by looking?" "I was a med assistant at the school, you think I'm that stupid?" Yeua jumped in. "That was never on your record, nor did I see you there, and I was there enough to know." Satsuki tied her haor back and sighed. "Yea well, I was never really one for showing the good side of me of ya know what I mean. "Thats it buster, I'm looking at that right now wheter you like it or not." Satsuki grabbed him by the collar and sat him on the ground lifting his shirt to see a green bruise forming at his rib cage. "Yup, thought so broken rib. Hold still" She shifte through her pack and brought out a roll of white bandages, Yeua arched an eyebrow. "I never saw you pack a thing." "I always keep this with me. Hold still I said!" She began to wrap Omries side with persiscon and care that surprised Omrie. Her hands gental and only whispers of them were felt but that bandage was tight and secure. Standing Satsuki handed Omrie a shot. "Pain killer and dreamless sleep, take it before bed. You'll wake when you want to." She stretched and walked over to a nearby tree resting on it. "It's to dark to continue now, lets bunk for the night and get there in the morning, not right in the head to travle at night." She took the pole from her shoulders and put her chin on her chest and closed her eyes. "Don't even look at me for fire wood, I bandaged up Omrie, and he's in no condition to go off looking for fire wood, which means that the chore is yours Yeua." She waved at them and smiled. "I'll cook."

Mina paced her room and fumed a while, she had accepted Aaron's offer and sent him to talk to his people but now she had other matters to attend. From her scouts saying the Coven of the North was attacking. She slamed an open palm into the wall shattering a hole large enough for her head to fit. "I may be a half-breed and a women but my father was a renowned Vampire and I will not let his home be taken!" She stormed out and looked up as a cloud of bats flew over head. She narrowed her eyes and jumped to the roof infornt of them. "Show your-self. I am no fool." Marcus formed and stood leaning on the bell tower. "So you knew I was here?" "A hunch...I'm warning you now boy-" "Your no older than me GIRL." "I do not care. You attack one of my Coven again and I'll see you hang and burn. Understod?" "Are you speaking of that filthy half-breed Luna?" Mina had his throat in her hand before he could blink. "Don't test me assasin...I'm not one for idle banter or chit-chat." She released him and walked away lightly landing back in the hallway and walked through her domain as thunder rumbled and a thunderstorm began to pelt rain down upon the home.

Vey tossed and turned in her sleep all the while mumbling and whimpering as she relived that day over and over agian. She opened her eyes wearily and trembled as she felt the wieight of someones hand on her's. Rolling over she saw Heero and tried to pull away slowly without him noticing, succeeding she trembled. "Even the touch of the ones I trust and love most scare me..." She whispered. She cringed as a wave slapped agianst the side of the Rose and whimpered as she moved. She rolled into a ball and forced her-self into that dark corner in the back of her mind where no one could reach her...all she wanted to do was give up and never look back...thats all, but one thing kept her from doing so, Heero's voice, soothing her and calming her nerves little by little.

Vey had been sleeping well for almost an hour when everything turned worse... [I]Vey opened her eyes and there he was, the man that had raped her, she thrashed and fought but he held her down and forced him-self on her. SHe screamed in pain and knew no more. She felt many hands on her exsposed body and began to trmble, she was surrounded by black all of it black nothing could get by. She began to cry and call out to her father, no one resopnded, the men only laughed as another took her. She screamed again and gasped as the cool touch of the blade sliced her skin, she remebered what the man had said. 'I'll bet you look good witha few cuts.' She had awoken long enough for that. She went back into her corner and stayed there. The next thing she knew Heero was beside her.[/I] Vey sat up straight in her bed and screamed for dear life, covering her ears and head as if in painf she screamed. The nghtmares were getting worse each time she slept and every time that man came back to haunt her. SHe calmed her heart and breathing but never stopped wimpering, she huddled under the blankets and buried her face in her pillow. She put pressure on her eyes and screamed again as pain raced hrough her. [I]Stop that child or you'll make your-self blind[/I] Vey looked up sharply to see an empty room but she swore that had been Cliff's voice. "Now your going stark raving mad Vey...and no-one would blame you for it..." She rolled over onto her side and curled into a fetal position and trembled at every creak the ship made. "I-I can't do this!" She riped the blankets away burst form her room. Running to the front of the ship she hung over the edge and vomited. She slid down the side and cried. "I can't do this..." SHe fell over and passed out on the top deck, her cheeks stained by her tears. scratch marks she made her-self following the trails.

Mina sat back down and held up a hand. "NOW WILL YOU ALL LISTEN TO ME!" Every one was silent. "This is not the first attempt on my life. I belive that we have a new enemy that needs to be taken care of and I think that the only way we can do that is to join with human hunters." Bursts of out rage came form all direstiond but TJ stood and all was silent. "I wish for you all to think on it while I make arangments for every one to sleep here. Please make yourselves at home." She stood and left witha sweep of her dress and cloak.

Vey tore after Heero as soon as he hit the deck. "Heero! Gods are you okay?" Her eyes were blood shot from all the tears and blood dripped from under the jacket. "Heero..." She stopped as Katrina came forward and turned. "Where's Jericho?" "In his quarters, he was shot." "Right, I'll-I'll see what I can do..." She walked away from them and to her quarters and dressed quickly and ran to jericho, her legs gave out as she reached his bed. "Vey? What's wrong?" Tears still streamed down her cheeks as she went to work on his wound. "N-Nothing." "Your lying...I can see it in your face." "That may be but I won't worry you with that. Seems Katrina didn't tell you not to move, you've lost 1/3 of your blood. I can patch you up but you have to PROMISE not to move till your healed." She sounded like her usual self but her eyes were dark almost black, and her body was tense. She finished with Jericho and went back to the deck only to scream as Katrina put a hand on her shoulder. "Vey? What's wrong? Did I scare you?" "No. JUst leave me alone right now Katrina...I just need to be alone." "Vey?" "Just leave. Me. Alone." She walked away and climbed the mast sitting on top of the highest sail she tucked her knees to her chest and cried. She wiped her eyes and looked out at the water. "What do I do Pops? I can't act like the little child they knew and loved...I can't sit here and act like nothing happened..." She buried her face in her knees and sobbed, she gasped as the flute slipped from her poket and hit the deck below. She didn't budge to retrive it. When you do you'll know where you stand and fight for what you really belive in...do you understand?[/I] "Oh, Pops, it's easier said than done...I can't look at another person with out cringeing...even Heero..." She looked at the sea and sniffed. "Why? Why is it that people I love always get hurt...or never love me back? I just wish I could sit here forever...and never have to look at them ever again...I was so weak...to weak, I don't deserve to be called a pirate...especially one of the Devils Rose." A rope snaked around her wrist and squezzed. Vey looked at it and sobbed. "I don't deserve it!" She cried harder then she ever cried in her life.

Vey sobbed silently into Heero's shoulder, she had gotten into trouble agian. Shootng down one of the men following her another had joined and they hd traped her. She had fought with all she was worth but one mighty blow to the girls temple had sent her sprawling to the floor and unconsious. When she had woken they were rapeing her. She was brusied and embaressed that it had been Heero to find her that way, but glad someone came, they were planning to kill her. SHe found the gun at Heero's side and without second thought drew it, her eyes blazing with hate for the men. She took a knfe from the floor used to cut away her clothes and make the gashes across her body. Weak kneed but determined she stood quickly as Heero protested. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she fired iver and iver at the men even after they were dead, she let the gun fall adn fell to her knees sobbing. "I'm sorry Heero, I should have never left...I got us all into trouble again...forgive me." Her eyes were dull and lifeless as she looked at him.

Vey looked at Jericho and stuck out her tounge smileing. "You know we should be up THERE and not down HERE." "Heero told us-" "That's never stoped you before." "Uh...shutup!" Vey laughed and put an arm on his shoulder. "You poor thing...no one to love you..." Her eyes turned sad, she had seen Katrina kiss Heero and at that moment felt a pang of jealousy hit her heart unlike anyother. "Jericho, am I to childish?" "Only when your not serious..." "I wnat to stay at the next town...so I, so I don't get in the way." Katrina's head poked into the cannon room. "We've been given the clear, get on up here and help us. We're almost to the next town...just think hot meal and a decent bath." Vey chuckled and followed Katrina to their quarters. "K-Katrina...I-I want to say that I hope you all make it okay...I'm staying here in Luieon...I'm to much trouble..." She hugged Katrina gently and ran from the room to find and say good bye to Heero. Finding him she kissed his cheek quickly as she had done to Jericho and jumped to the dock and ran for all she was woth. [I]There's no room for a child on a ship like that...I've realized that now, Katrina was right...I do need to grow up...but-I can't do that on a ship...[/I] She stopped running and walked throught the streets of the crowded town with no purpose, just roaming. Her father's voice sang in her ears. [I]Why do you think he picked you Vey Flower if your not a good sailor?"[/I] "I'm a good sailor, just to childish." [I]But thats what makes people love you.[/I] "Yea love me...I'm nothing but a bother...I couldn't help Cliff adn I can't help Katrian OR Heero OR Jericho...all I do is get in the way...wonder if they're even looking for me." A man watched as she walked by, he looked back at the other 10 he was with. "She's a lady of the Rose, lets go. I hear that the captin and crew are injured and weak. Bet we can get them and the ship. You two go for that girl, he rest of us will go after the ship and crew." Two detached themselves from the rest and began after Vey while the others left for the Devil's Rose.

Vey sat at the door cringeing with every shatter of glass. "She's gonna kill her-self, have to check those stitches of her's." Vey opend the door and peaked in to see glass litering the floof and both standing with no where to walk. "You dumb bastards." Both jumped and looked at her. "One thinks it's fun to get drunk for a death and the other thinksd it's fun to kill the other one that gets drunk with glass...your both daft." She took a broom and began to sweep the glass away from them as Cliff would've done, tears rolled down her face. She looked at Heero and smiled. "He's not totally gone Heero, he's here all right, right here." She pointed to his chest, to his heart. "Right where your father is and every other person you've lost." She kept sweeping and looked at Katrina. "Now, YOU need to go back to our quarters so I can check tohse stiches and Heero you need to lay back down and rest. We have every thing under control." "You mean you and Jericho?" Vey nodded at Katrina. "Yup, now you two go and rest...NOW!" Both Heero and Katrina jumped and nodded. Katrina smiled. "Your growing up Vey....thats good." Vey nodded and swatted at her with the broom. "GET!"

Bravie heard the scream of her fellow trackers from her hall and ran in that direction. "What? What happened here?" SHe heard ragged breathing from a corner and approached only to bring her whip about as claws raked the air where she had been. It wrapped around Akai's arm and he let out a growl and pulled her to him. "I do not thin that you work for the demon king...or you would not have that look of fear in your eyes demon." Akai blinked. "I though so...what do you plan to do? Run forever?" She un wrapped her whip from his arm and stood back. "I'll lead them the other way...run." He sttod there for a moment and ran.
