1. Most definitely the Tachikomas from Ghost in the Shell. They can become invisible if they will, they hide a number of heavy artillery under their armor and can adapt to almost any working environment. Why do I like Tachikomas? Cause they have cute voices. Most unusual for crime-fighting mechas. Love and Peace!
2.
Did you know: They have oreo stacking CONTESTS!?!??! yeah I got like 15... but someone got like 50. yeha I felt bad about myself then.
Find me hot; I stacked 28.
But if you already have teh one you love I guess a sugar high could help produce some pretty good sack sessions since I guess sugar and chocolate produce endorphines. I think
It does! Chocolate makes you secrete endorphins thus producing a feeling comparable to an opium high. Correct me if I'm wrong but I heard it also contains some substance which the brain uses to produce serotonin, inducing feelings of euphoria. Add to that the sugar content of the whole Oreo cookie and you've got one happy (and frisky) bunny. Very sexy.
Does anyone drink Coke and Oj (Seperate glasses) with them like me?
*winces* And you dunk the cookie where?
3. Name: Lisette Framboise Age: ??? Bio: Lisette grew up in a cottage near the edge of a forest in France. She had a grandmother who lived in the heart of the forest. Her mother would send her there once a week to bring food to the ailing old woman. Once, just four days after her last visit, her mother bid her to visit her grandmother once again. She set off for the cottage with just her gray riding hood and a basket of pastries. But when she got there, all she found was a burnt house. A wolf appeared from the embers and said he was the Devil himself. Her grandmother was offered up to him by her mother in exchange for a pile of gold; a lifetime of prosperity in return for Lisette. She became a vampire at age 16. She went back to her mother and hacked the woman to death with a hatchet. Little respect remained in her, just enough to wipe the blood off her mother, staining the once gray cloak red. She buried her under the roots of a fire tree and set no marker for her mother?s grave. Her eternally youthful countenance attracted a myriad of lovers which included a significant number of men (and women) in power. Pretty soon, she had enough wealth to be counted in as one of the nouveau riche. She moved to Scotland in the 52nd year of her immortal life to a mansion given to her by one of her patrons. Appearance: This is Lisette (minus the fox tail) OOC: Totally ripped off Kaori Yuki?s Red Riding Hood. 4.
Yes, it's a big deal to me. It's an assertion of my male dominance.
Good one! A piece of advice though: Watch out for your neighborhood's hatchet-wielding feminists. XD If... no, when I get married, I'd probably keep my maiden name. It's not that I don't want to be associated with my husband; I just want old acquaintances to recognize my name when they chance upon it. I don't want a hyphenated one either; my maiden name's long enough to name two people. Pretty shallow, ain't it? I plan to have two children (preferably adopted. Am scared to death of giving birth. Methinks I'm a carrier of some rare genetic disease XD); one would carry my husband's surname and the other, my surname. Love and Peace!

6. Looks like Briar Rose from Disney's Sleeping Beauty. Totally love it! Love the hair, especially. The way you show its waviness without using outlines (or line art, whatever) is truly amazing. And, oh, nothing's wrong with the hands as far as I could tell. Nobody knew who this enigmatic Lady Asphyxia was. Her cover was perfect; no one would suspect a mild-mannered children's book illustrator... Love and Peace!
7. Come on, love. Do post the story here so we can have a look-see. A favor though: Nothing too heavy. This is going to be an experimental RPG so let's start with a fairly easy story, shall we? Am still volunteering to work on this project, whatever the story may be. Am still very interested! Love and Peace!
8. She was atop one of the many strange metal boxes scattered in the hall. Though she wasn?t sure of what the boxes did, Opera sat on one anyways. While the other young Dogs mingled with each other at the other side of the hall, Opera, on the other hand, contemplated on some strange feeling she has been getting since their flight in the forest. The light is shivering Wandering along the edges of time... Rise, my children Your serene slumber is over. * A ringing in her ears suddenly woke her from her reflections. Finally aware of the unfamiliar eyes on her, she turned to a young Dog across the room and smiled apologetically. I?m sorry. You shouldn?t have heard that? Mr. Shidobu. Hey? You can read minds too? Yes. Another telepath, I see. Nice to meet you-- Hey, can you feel it? Feel what? A foreboding? No, never mind. Opera hopped down from the metal box and went over to the group. Gathering her hair to one side, she bowed deeply and greeted them with a cheerful voice. As she looked at each of the Dogs, she can?t help but hint a bit of sorrow in her smile. They read her unmoving lips and heard her mellow voice: Mornie utúlië * ~o~o~o~o~o~o~ OOC: *verses from Radical Dreamers~Le Tresoir Interdit - Chrono Cross Liberi Fatali - Final Fantasy VIII May it Be - The Lord of the Rings: FOTR Lots of allusions from my favorite songs! XD The last one is in Quenya; it means "Darkness has come?.
9. Here was another avenue, full of lovely Atman people. Kamui knew the streets of Atma so well that she once wagered that she could walk from the docking area to the pub at the center of the town blindfolded. Easy money that was. On her way to the Alchemy shop, she passed by a gathering at the Square. Someone called ?The Prophet? stood in the middle, shouting out bizarre forecasts like ?It has been written that the last of Adam?s blah?blah?? What a load of bull. For the lack of anything better to do, Kamui joined the curious crowd. She popped a candy into her mouth and tried to catch more of the Prophet?s words. More prophecies. Just when she was about to fall asleep, a girl standing in front of her shouted ?YES!? Hrmnh? What? Hey, that?s the shopkeeper?s daughter! Which reminds me? Ah, yes. Note to self: Buy potions. After a few detours to other curio houses, she entered the Alchemy shop. A sweet tune greeted her as she entered the store. It abruptly stopped when the woman behind the counter took notice of her. ?Oh! Um? hi! Welcome!? ?Good morning, Aria! I?ve a package for your mother. Is she here?? ?Oh, no. But she?ll be back in while. You?re Kamui, right? From Highwind?? ?That?s right? So, what did the Prophet say this time? ? ??You don?t believe him do you?? ?Not that I don?t, but I must say that he provides very good entertainment---? The door chimes rang as another customer came in. Kamui didn?t even notice disappointment spread slowly on Aria's face.
10. I say the "best damn manga artist in the world" will get the job. Then, after just 2 months, he'll be sitting in that same interview room doing the interviewing. I know a groups of artists who have broken in to our local manga scene and became *very* successful in the business. And they're not even Japanese! Local pride, I guess. Last I heard, they've even got an international fanbase! *sighs happily* Come on, love. What are translators for anyway? Surely, we've read some translated manga but that fact that it was translated didn't turn us off, yea? Love and Peace! :love2:
11. *ogles at the previous post* Woah... I need that wp. Here's mine. I stick with a clean desktop. It's healthy to look at something neat especially if your room is as cluttered at mine. *accidentally steps on her PS2* Darn. Like the wallpaper? Head over to http://gateux.ricochetmoon.net/ (If it's still up. Sorry for the shameless promotion.) Love and Peace! :love2:
12. Yay! It's going to push through! A futuristic story... The picture your description painted in my head looks very much like the environment in The Vision of Escaflowne. Am I right to assume that the characters can fight with mechas in medieval setting? Or is this all medieval with a few futuristic references (i.e. flying ships like in El Hazard)? Am very interested! Looks forward to future posts and ideas! Love and Peace! :love2:
13. The title pretty much sums it up! XD I sorely need a Faye Valentine avatar (read: pretty 150x80 avatar). I have provided 2 pictures of the girl (see attachments. courtesy of http://www.animevisions.net) but you can use other images if you like! Do heed my humble request, beloved artists of OB. Love and Peace! :love2:
14. My Desery? From the East of the Spire Thalion?s force waited for Razendis? order. The King of Heaven watched as the two angel hosts fought alongside each other. Indeed, the Alliance has been revived. He longed to aid them but His person was being held under the Spire?s sway. Inside him, His mind fought vainly to regain control of his body. We have sealed you once and we will do it once again, Razendis. And this time, we will make sure that you will stay sealed. Thalion, Thalion, look at you. The mighty King of Heaven? HELPLESS. What is this ?we? you?re talking about? You mean you and the angels? If you?ve noticed, Thalion, you?re my pet now. You WILL do what I say. A word of advice, most abominable demon: The faults of those who keep their enemies close run the risk of being revealed. Hmm, wise indeed. Did you read that from a doormat?
15. Come on, love. It was all Eikou's work. I did nothing but draw the artistic being to this thread (oh, and I'm not even sure about that.) Now that you've mentioned it, the image does look Castlevania-esque. Thanks for the link. Am finding lots of pretty pictures! Love and Peace! :love2:
16. The midsummer moon shone pale through the eaves of the trees, revealing white figures beneath them. Silver and ebony filaments floated after them as they glided along the veiled forest path like forgotten slivers of a ghost, making neither sound nor stir. Thrice the dark-haired one stopped to stoop towards the ground, only to get up and sprint again. Fresh tracks? Very good, child. Now, where to? It went ahead, leaving the one with the silver hair behind the hedges. As it ran into the clearing, its whole body was suddenly bathed in ethereal moonlight. Its features now illumined, it became clear that the figure was a girl. Her robe flowed and spread as she bent to touch the ground. Her amethyst eyes glinted beautifully under the stars that they observe. She stood up and brushed her sleeves. North? Then follow me. Silver-Hair walked around the clearing and met with the girl at the northern end. It took her hand and lead her in, nimbly weaving through the hedges and trees and waiting traps. At last they came to a halt in front of wizened tree. Vines with curly tendrils hung from its leafless boughs, obscuring the wide trunk from unwanted eyes. A fair hand emerged from beneath a sleeve and signalled the girl to stop. It parted the vines, revealing a small whorl protruding from the trunk. This the fair hand pressed. Deeper into the woods, a wall made to look like grove of close-growing hardwoods slid and opened the passage to the Dogs? hideout. Inside the royals conversed, calmly waiting for the other Dogs. The two figures in silver cloaks entered the hall and sent melodious voices to the minds of Jonathan and Aria. ?Ever-borne by the swiftest Winds, Their wings of unparalleled haste?? Trust the Wind Guardians to arrive first. The royals faced them, surprised but relieved. "Ah, Jonathan." "Eithel! I see that you are well. Is that..." "Yes. This is Opera. I meant to present her to you royals at a later date but..." Her fair hand bade her companion to step forward. The dark-haired girl followed and gave them a deep bow. ?Ever is thy sight a joy.?
17. If it's "Ragnarok" by Lee Myoung-whatshisname you're talking about then this is news. From the sound of it, I say you're pretty excited about this series. So how was it? Heard the animation's pret-ty amazing. Does it follow the manga's plot? I just hope that the voice-acting's okay. *whispers* I think this thread would be better off in Anime Lounge Love and Peace! :love2:
18. Sunlight shone through the windows and warmed the girl sprawled on her desk. Her eyelids drooped over silver eyes that gazed at the clouds lazily passing by. ?Eightfold clouds rise up, The eightfold fence of Izumo, To shelter my bride And enclose her in the fence?? A sudden knock on her desk woke her up. ?Tell me, Miss Caraway. Are you planning to pass my class with your doggerels and verses?? Julia sat up straight and smiled lazily at their elderly teacher. ?Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history. Plato.? ?Very good.? Somewhere between those two words, she heard a familiar inflection in the teacher?s voice, the dreaded get-ready-because-I?m-going-to-see-if-you?ve-done-your-reading-assignment tone. ?Well then, let?s see if poetry holds anything about the Carthaginian Wars, Miss Caraway. Hmm?? He picked up Julia?s dog-eared history book from her desk and flipped it open to a page marked by pink paper. ?Hoom hmm? Whose army was it that trampled Scipio?s force in the Carthaginian Wars?? ?My druid says? ? Julia massaged her temples as she closed her eyes. ?Hmm?.Hektor of Troy?? The teacher raised an eyebrow and sighed. ?Hannibal.? He put the book back on her table. ?Try reading non-fiction sometime.? Julia sunk in her seat. But of course! Hannibal? Darn it! What?s wrong with me? Maybe I haven?t had enough sleep! Come on, 9 hours of sleep is more than enough. Hmm? ?that? must be it. Maybe they?ve felt it too? As if on cue, a sweet voice whispered from behind her and interrupted the dialogue in her head. ?Hey, how was your World Literature exam?? ?Gwah. Terrible. My mind blanked out before I could even write my name! This is so not my day?? Their teacher cleared his throat, looked at them and then returned to his lecture. Iris lowered her voice. ?After school. Don?t forget!?

20. Say to her that sending you to boarding school will hurt your feelings gravely and the chances of you becoming a trigger-happy psycho will skyrocket from nil to 75 percent. Seriously, I think you should stay away from CS for a while. Do something that requires moving bodyparts other than your hands, say... paintball. CS-esque fun in the real world! Then sign-up for save-Mother-Earth clubs so that you'll look goody-goody to your mother. Love and Peace! :love2:
21. It's not yet finished. Hopefully some kind soul will fix this up for you (hopefully Eikou), Eclectic. Will return to this project as soon as possible. By the way, who is this (referring to the one in the avatar) guy? He looks eerily like Michael-- oh, never mind. Love and Peace! :love2:
22. Shouldn't the man be allowed to go on parole? I mean, he was imprisoned for 20 years. The order has it that he can apply for parole after 20 years of jail time. He has fulfilled his part of the contract. If they were going to deny him parole, why didn't they sentence him to "life imprisonment without possibility of a parole" (or something like that)? Love and Peace! :love2:
23. Running Random Favorite Anime Character program... Ding! Ding! It's Tatsumi Seiichirou from Yami no Matsuei! Aside from the fact that he's super-hot, He always has this cool, uncaring air around him. It seems like his only motivation is money. He hides his true feelings really well; even Asato, the shinigami dearest to him (XD), knows nothing about this man's weaknesses. He also uses a different type of magic, and a strong one too! This ability was only shown once in the series but boy did it take my breath away. Everything about his character is a mystery but you could always tell that beneath his nonchalant (and good-looking) exterior is a very caring man. Love and Peace! :love2:
24. The lady Rider clucked her tongue anxiously. While Caramel busied herself with cushioning the fall of their Riders, Vanilla scanned the field for a good specimen. Her restless right hand stayed on the hilt of a gladius on her side. [Vanilla, concentrate.] Remember the plan. [Have you got the rope?] Check [Sword?] Right here. [Make sure it cuts through the hide.] Moments later, they were in pursuit of an enemy dragon. It didn?t take long for Caramel to catch up. They flew above the black dragon and kept its speed. The enemy rider?s sword flashed, slashing the air between the two dragons in vain. Vanilla whipped out Dulcet and sent a tune to the dragon?s Rider. Immediately, he fell into a senseless heap on his dragon?s back. On three. One? She slung the coil of rope on her left shoulder. Two? The lady Rider stood on her dragon?s back. Three! Vanilla jumped on to the back of the dragon below them. Caramel flew off and positioned herself below them, ready to catch the Riders should they fall. The dragon flinched, surprised at the weight that hit his back. It buckled wildly causing the lady Rider stay low as she held on to the Rider and the reins. Vanilla quickly bound the other with rope. She drew the gladius, cut the rope and threw him to her waiting Dragon. Well, then! Let?s get this bugger down. The dragon, sensing a different Rider now held its reins, upped its efforts to throw the foreign Rider from its back. Good thing the dragon had spines; Vanilla held on them for support as she made her way to the back of its head. She tied herself to a horn with the remaining rope that she had. Without much difficulty, she rappelled down. When she got under the dragons chin, she felt the hide in a few place and struck the beast at the softest part of the chin. No good! I?ll nick it from the other side! [Other side? You don?t mean---] Heads up! She climbed up right in front of the dragon?s mouth. The dragon, seeing the Rider suspended in front of her, started snapping. Vanilla kicked off from its face with each snap and flicked the rope sideways. She planted her feet firmly on its upper lip and clung tightly to the rope with her left hand. A gust of hot vapor shot from the dragon?s nostrils. Walking to the left, she made her way to the center of its head, right between its eyes. Caramel, look! A cross-eyed dragon! [Vanilla!] Fine, fine! Live specimen, live specimen, live specimen? She kicked off and released a length of rope. The dragon, instead of closing its maw immediately, waited for the Rider to swing back. It rolled its tongue back, exposing the soft raw flesh of its mouth. ?THERE!? The gladius flew from her hand and pierced deep into the dragon?s lower palate. She let go of the rope, swung to the dragon?s chin, and held on to a spike. The dragon shook violently, its black tail thrashing the nearby dragons. Suddenly, it froze. A gale rose from the ground catching the plummeting dragon. It set the dragon gently on the ground. [Is it still alive?] Yeah. The clod?s still breathing. [Thank goodness.] How about yours? [Still asleep.] Caramel alighted beside them, enemy Rider in tow. Vanilla untied herself from the beast and dusted her pants. A weird grin spread on her face. ?That was fun. Let?s do it again!? ?Get yourself another dragon, then.? ?I was just kidding. Whew!? The dragon replied with a snort. "Adrenaline high..." OOC: Good to have you back, amgoddess!
25. Spring?s cherry blossom, miss me the way I miss you In the mountain?s heart it is only I who knows of your great beauty and you, of my loneliness Hollow thocks echoed through the early morning air. A lone figure stood in the archery range, silently drawing and releasing arrows in slow rhythm. Her name is Julia, assistant captain of the Archery Team. She aimed at the circular target. ?Saki no Daisojo Gyoson?? An arrow flew from her bow. Who?s that? A hit. A bit off the center though. The author. She sighed and closed her eyes. World Literature was one of her best subjects yet lately, she?s been having trouble concentrating. Something inside was bothering her but she still hasn?t quite figured out what it was. She brushed a cold speck off her cheek. Wait? Snow? But winter is still? She opened an eye and saw the archery ground covered with pure white snow. ?Oh no! Not again!?
