1. I don't know if this question has already been asked, but the thread simply was too long to read. When do they release Kingdom Hearts 2 in Europe? If anyone knows when they're going to release it in Holland, that would be REALLY great ^__^ I love the screenshots and stuff I've already seen by the way, I really can't wait to get that game :D
2. Happy Tree Friends rocks! It really has to be your kind of humour, but if it is... it's good! I've been watching it over the internet, since they don't broadcast it here in Holland :animeangr I also tend to agree that it isn't really suitable for young children ~.^
3. Wow, you've really got talent. It's so beautiful and these two parts made me cry. I could sense the words were carefully chosen, they are beautiful. I recognised two things in the third part, that I've experienced myself. The part with the girl looking for the boy's hand with hers. And the one with the cold wind. Are there some memories of yourself hidden in this amazing rainbow of words?
4. I don't. Some friends sometimes call me Captain, but that's just a joke. A lot of people just call me 'little one' or just 'little' because I'm short. But I don't really mind ^_^
5. I just like drawing, except the real-life drawing. That's something I'm really bad at. That's when I discovered manga. I love it because of the big amount of details you can draw in your characters ^_^ And I'm getting better ^____^
6.
P.S. Oops. Skipped over your post there, Captain Iuno. A fifth one, huh? [/SIZE']
Yeah,my dad told me. It's kinda weird. His/Her name will start with a 'K' .Let's hope my dad was wrong...
7. I also feel really sorry about it. * hugs everyone* But I hate to be the bringer of bad news (in this case really bad), but I've heard that there's a fifth hurricane on it's way O_O
8. I've been reading this over and over again. And I've come to realise that there's only one person who's actually a bit right, you know. It's Solo. He said that we shouldn't divide everyone into groups and label them. So after thinking for a while (ahem...a bit longer though) I've realised that he's right. We shouldn't be doing that. And actually, deep inside everyone's the same. *hugs everyone*
9. I can have songs stuck in my head at any time of the day, which can be quite annoying when you're trying to pay attention at school or you're making your homework. But the most annoying one has got to be hte 'Badger Song'. It sort of goes likes this: 'Badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badgerm, MUSHROOM, MUSHROOM!' IT's sooo stupid!
10. Wow Wow Wow!!! Hit the brakes everyone! I'm reading several misconceptions here. 1 Goths do not believe in Satan, let alone worship him. This is a very common misconception, so please delete this from your minds! 2 It is not an extreme form of christianity. Most goths do not believe in Jezus or God. 3 It is most likely that goths chose the religion of 'wicca'. This religion worships a god and a goddess and has nothing to do with Satan (or Jezus) whatsoever. That was the religion part. On the black clothing. It is true that most (or maybe even ALL) goths have a 'I-don't-care-what-people-think-of-me' attitude. And it is also true that they listen to metal (not diving them into groups of black, death etcetera). Goths will also listen to stuff like Nightwish, Evanescence or After Forever a lot. Goths do love darkness because they're very comfortable with it. So once again I will tell you: Goths do NOT worship Satan! And not all goths are people who don't give ***** about their lives or just want to commit suicide. Goths can be happy you know! And if you doubt this information...you shouldn't. I am a goth and not afraid to admit it! Thank You
11. I can't wait to see that third Star Wars movie ^_^ But I have another newcomer in the movieworld. They're going to make a movie of the first book from Artemis Fowl. I don't know much about it, only that it's release was panned 2005. If you want to know more, then I suggest you go to: http://www.artemisfowl.com
12. It indeed does sound like a personal experience. And again it's very beautiful. You've got talent Solo. *huggles long*
13. My turn! I'm a 15 year old girl from The Netherlands. I live in Venlo, or sometimes better known as 'Little Chicago'. My birthday is the 29th November, which means I'm a Sagittarius. I'm born in the year of the Dragon ^_^ I'm in High School and have 'studied' ancient Latin and Greek for 2 years. I also participated in the 'Anglia Project', which is a project to improve your English. When you pass the exam (I did!) you will be given a certificate, with which you can go to a university in England (and other English speaking countries) when you've finished High School. I can play the piano, but I haven't got any grades yet...probably because I'm a bit lazy *whistles* and I can also play the flute. One of my biggest interests is the 'Lord of the Rings'. But I also like other fantasy stuff like Harry Potter. Other interests are anime&manga (otherwise I wouldn't sit here writing this reply on OtakuBoards ^_^ ), silly cartoons (watching AND drawing them), drawing, writing and some other stuff which isn't really interesting. I'm not doing anything sporty at the moment, but I have played tennis and basketball. I've also been a member of an AthleticsGroup, only the trainer was really bad so I stopped with that very quick. Now I'm waiting on a response from an ArcheryGroup. I've done archery when I was on a school trip and the lady that was organising everthing said that I had talent, soo...we'll see! People often say that my English is really good for someone from 'Holland'. If you see any mistakes in my writing, please tell me! And when you speak to me (in English that is) you'll notice that I've got a British accent, which is kind of weird, because both my parents are born and raised in Holland. That's about it I guess. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask ^_^
14. When I was on a holiday in London February this year, I had a pretty embarrassing moment in the subway. It was very hot so I asked my friend for a water bottle she was carrying in her bag. The bag had been shaking a lot and I didn't know that it was sparkling water (silly me was thinking it was still water). So I opened it and got almost the entire botle over me. And when I looked up I saw Freek from Blazin' Squad (the only reason I remembered his name was that my friend was squeeking in my ear 'Oh my god, it's Freek!!!' -__- ) And I was like: 'Oh no... not in front of a celeb...' But as he wanted to come over some security monkeys dragged him away being followed a couple of seconds later by a group a hysterical screaming girls. I felt so stupid  .
15. hm...does June counts as Summer? I think so ^_^ Then one of the best (or maybe the best) thing was meeting Solo for the first time. I had passed my Anglia exams (which is something to learn better English...or something like that) and students from England would come to Venlo (where I live). Including Solo. We had a pretty good time those two days (it weren't actually two days but you can call it two ^_^). And I already missed him when I gave him a hug saying goodbye :( .
16. Amy Lee from Evanescence is mentioned a lot. And I also think she has a very good voice. As someone said before: you can really hear the emotion in her voice and when you see the video of let's say 'My Immortal' you can also see that she shows the emotion with her entire body. Which is beautiful. Tarja from Nightwish also has a gorgeous voice, which is mentioned before. She can really hit the high notes. Very beautiful ^_^ . And there's someone I should definetely not forget to mention: Enya. It sometimes sounds like her voice is silk. When you listen to 'May It Be' (the soundtrack fromt he Lord of the Rings - the Fellowship of the Ring) there's this magical glisten floating along with her voice, which is absolutely enchanting.
17. In don't really have a top ten just some cartoons that I like: Ren & Stimpy I can't see the resemblences of a chihuahua or a cat, but they're cool. Fairly Odd Parents Who doesn't like Cosmo and Wanda? Kim Possible Ron's pet rules! Histeria! ^________________^ The Simpsons DOH! Mad Jack the Pirate You've got to love that fat, too big rat. I think he has this Aussi accent, which is very nice! Family Guy No comment ~_^ . Futurama No comment ~_^ .
18. Some parts from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban on the PS2 can be pretty tough. I know HP sounds really soft and stuff like that, but it's harder than it seems to be. My most frustrating moment so far with this game is when you're in the Carpe Retractum level and you can only play with Hermione to freeze some sort of a lake. Then you enter a very small room with two goblins (or something like that) and two pixies and just when you've vanquished the 'goblins' one of the pixies bites you. You've only got two bottles of Healing Potion and they bite you almost constantely. That's very annoying. Another frustating moment was with Enter the Matrix. At some point you've got to drive a car with Ghost because Niobe is up in that airplane with an agent. And when you crash into one of those pillars on the road you're too far away from the airplane. I just couldn't get through that level, so after what felt like a couple of hundred times I had been trying I had a friend playing that level for me :p. (Quick question: how do you do that thing with the black beam?)
19. I think that clowns are a enormous waste of space! Most people don't really like them and think they are annoying. And a lot of little children are very afraid of them. Not only little children though... [ This is indeed a bit of a weird topic. ]

Linkin Park

Linkin Park is great! The lyrics of the songs gets you indeed thinking about a lot of stuff. I usually listen to LP when I'm feeling a bit down (which is once a day, very weird). Something that's also nice to see is that their video of the song 'Breaking the Habit' is in some sort of Anime style. Thumbs up for that ^_^.
21. 1 My dad and I had this huge dinosaur and monster collection. It was really big. We had dinosaurs who were 3 centimetres high and we had one (which was inflatable) which was 1.50 metres high! The monsters were normal sized, but we had really ugly ones. Like Frankenstein, a purple vampire and we even had (and still have) the alien from ?Alien?. Which was one of my favourites. I played with Barbies too, but not that much as I played with the dinosaurs and monsters. I remember now that we also had the Thunderbirds island, with all the figurines and almost all the rockets, planes and cars. The only we missed (and still miss) is Thunderbird Space station (number 5). 2 I thought they were awesome and that no one had these toys. Hehe. No one had the Thunderbirds Island, I was pretty sure of that because it was really expensive back then. 3 We don?t have that much left of our collection, we still have the cool ones though. Like * thinks * the alien from ?Alien? and a new Frankenstein monster ^_^. The dinosaurs are pretty ugly now. The colours have faded a bit. The Thunderbirds Island had a make-over! Hehe. My dad and I still collect the ?ugly? monsters. It?s only too bad that they?re so expensive. 4 Through the years the stereotypes haven?t changed a lot. Barbie is still set as a role-model for young girls. Which can sometimes lead to less pleasant things, because a friend of mine (15) is obsessed with her body and has anorexia. She wants to have the same body as Barbie, because ?she is perfect?. But I think that the ?original purpose? of Barbie was indeed to make young girls ready for being a mother and to have a bigger part in the household. As for the toys for boys, those don?t make real stereotypes, but they more accentuate the real nature of the male side: to enjoy being aggressive (come on guys, you know it?s true!). But it can be very different. Example: When I was a kid I loved those dinosaurs and monsters. I have a little sister (10 years old) and she loves dolls and stuff, she never really liked monsters or stuff like that. But I don?t have any brothers, so I can?t judge about those differences. ( Nice thread Solo ;) )
22. My biggest fear would be...spiders. I'm a real arachnaphobic, when I see a spider I start shaking and sweating and my face becomes white with fear. I don't have it with movies though, but that's because I know it's not real ^_^. I have another fear though...it's clowns. Go on, tell me I'm weird! But it's true. I don't know why, but I think they're really scary.
23.
It's not just some physical activity you do for five minutes and go off and do something else. There's an emotional attachment to it as well, and a lot of people don't seem to understand it when they first get into it. The further you get into puberty, the more you think about it and the harder it is to ignore (so to speak ^_^; ).
I think 14 is definetely too young. At that age you've 'just' been thrown into puberty and you get these weird rushes of things you want to do. So if you want to do 'it', you should think first if it's not one of those rushes. And if you're sure about also think about the consequences (see quote form Solo above).
