She used to dress up as all sorts of different people. For math she dressed up as some guy named Ray who was married to an isosceles (sp?) triangle? she was a fitness lady for spelling? and there were a lot more. Then there was the alien Gertrude who we never saw but knew existed. And she would also pretended to be a student. I think she?d put her hair in pigtails, and then she would pic one of the students to be the teacher and let us call her Alison. Sixth Grade Spanish: Mrs. New Pity she had to leave after sixth grade because I couldn?t get her for seventh grade Spanish (and of course that meant SeƱorMcNear took her place and I got him for Seventh grade?). Wolf Yet another teacher who let us listen to music? we would listen to Barbie Girl and We Didn?t Start the Fire in his class. I was hopping I?d get him for eighth grade science (he switched so that he mostly teaches eighth grade classes) but got Mr. Davis instead... but I?m not that mad we have an awesome class. Mr. Wolf also does all the running sports last year for sports I had him for Cross Country and Track ?this year I didn?t do Cross Country (because they moved Soccer to the fall) but will still be doing Track and am Currently in Fitness (which he coaches). Seventh Grade Math: Mr. Stephens Taking a turn for the worse I did not much enjoy having MR. Stephens as a teacher?. Or advisor. He always got off track and could obviously not control our class we spent more time playing than learning and I think his teaching might have contributed to why I?m in normal algebra and not honors. I had an A average the first two trimesters but he got sooo of track the last trimester and I just could not concentrate. I spent class either doing homework or reading? he ended up kneading to warn me he might give me a formal warning if I kept reading? gah and of course Mr. Stephens had another personality known as Randolph that would occasionally come out. And he never stopped drinking coke? you try taking ERBs while every five minutest he was opening another coke can. I might add some of my eighth grade teachers in awhile but I haven?t even touched my homework so? yea.
2. Panda- I'm thinking shadow though I'm probably not even close to right... maybe I'll think about it a bit more so I don't end up spoiling the answer. ...I checked and... not right!^^ And about my two old riddles For the first (what is the only tree Jen will like) Sequoia is right but the answer to the second (highest number using two digits) isn?t 99 And I?ve got another easy one! Someone at a party introduces you to your mother's only sister's husband's sister in law. Well I was thinking of it like that riddle that is something about Rail Road crossing (something else with R?s and r?s) can you spell this with just two R?s and you make the other two lower case? (My knack for riddles is rather low?) eehe^^;; Rhian- two apples. Anyways I have some more way too easy ones? First one I got in like two seconds and told my friends Katie got it admittedly while the rest of them were left clueless and we just asked each other if they were really that stupid (though it seems I have no right to talk!^^): What is the largest possible number you can write using only 2 digits? And Second: Jenn is facetious. And I like animals a lot ?I?m even somewhat of a semi-vegetarian. So ya? I guess Pisces does fit me?
6.
that and the opera singing...
What may I ask is un-cool about singing opera *starts singing Masquerade a few octaves too high* Ehem anyways besides the drawing watching anime and all the other good stuff most people on this board would say? Reading. I don?t exactly get what?s so un-cool about it but almost all of my friends are bookworms. So what? Reading improves your vocabulary and helps you with learning. One of my close friends (the one I don?t share much in common with) once said that we were all a bunch of bookworms and I?m just like ?and what?s wrong with that?? Wow I really can?t think of many. ?Cept that I?ll occasionally go play with the dress ups down stairs (fuuuuuuun!) oh and I thought of one more? I like to speak in Spanish a lot, which I?ve learned can sometimes be a bad thing. Like when we were changing for our dress rehearsal of Just So and one Spanish lady was down there and I said ?Lo Siento? and she started babbling away in too-fast-to-understand Spanish and I?m just standing there nodding. And then there?s the messed up Spanish we some times speak which you would speak like: Hoe-la! Como eh-stas towe? Yo eh-stuy be-ei-ien! Yo lama ehs ____ Me gusto jue-gu a el futbol! So yea that?s our messed up Spanish. Then there?s the whole thing that all my friends write down all our nicknames and inside jokes? and I had thought of one more? ah well I tend to randomly recite lines from past plays of mine and all of my friends now all sorts of random lines from books/movies we like. But that wasn?t what I was thinking of? meh I?ll post again latter if I remember.
7. Bleh all the ones I know have been answered but for the: What do these 3 things have in common? Dogs, Diamonds and Double-plays? I?m going with the D and O too? plus the D is the first letter for each. ...I suppose if I spent some time thinking about it I might come up with the anwser but *sighs* Oh and: I bite with no teeth, I sting with no stinger, I kill with no blood. What am I? Might you be poison? I er? don?t really know how to say I got this answer. But poison doesn?t sting you or bite you and it draws no blood? you could also die of natural causes I suppose? like old age? But anyways I have one too: You go to a village and the people are going to kill you. They tell you that if you tell a lie you will be thrown in to a pit of lava and if you tell the truth you will be drowned. What do you do to escape? Bleh I can?t remember the correcting wording but still I like that one. I have actually quite a few more but I?ll wait till you guys get the answer to this one!^^
8. Kat giggled at her sister?s response to her nagging. ?Well, you must like some one!? she started to say when she was interrupted by a crashing noise. Turning around, she saw a boy lying on top of a food-covered girl. She didn?t recognize the boy but there had been much talk about the girl lately. From what she had heard of her, Kat wasn?t very fond of the girl. ?Ooh... What about him? He looks cute," she asked motioning to the boy on the floor.
9. It?s not the same as you, Chabichou, forgetting some Arabic but when I came back from Saudi Arabia I lost my British accent. When we lived in Saudi Arabia we lived in an English speaking community and so were not exposed to as much Arabic as you?d think someone living there would hear. We only lived in Saudi Arabia for the first three years of my life (though I wasn?t born there) and the community we lived in were mostly British and the Preschools I went to were British English so not having spoke English for too too long I learnt to speak with an British accent. But coming back to the states when I was still young I lost it. Oh and my dad is the opposite of you, he can read Arabic but has no clue what he is saying. Anyways I too take Spanish. I?ve been taking it since first grade. From first through third grade I was in a public school that had Spanish-emersion. ?Half the day was spent learning things like spelling and grammar in English and the other half spent learning science and math in Spanish. Of course when I switched to SSSAS in fourth grade it was the first year to take a language so I ended up just relearning stuff I already knew. Fifth grade wasn?t much better because it was still just learning stuff I already knew. Sixth grade was the first year of middle school and since there were quite a few new students who hadn?t learned any language it was still much of the same stuff. Over those three years I started forgetting what I had been learning. In our school 7th grade languages are 01A and 8th grade 01B, but last year Mrs. New left and Senor McNear took her place. Mrs. New taught 6th grade and half the 8th grade so Senor McNear took her place and? I wound up in his class along with my friend Lauren we also ended up with most of the less bright more popular kids. Senor McNear wasn?t a good teacher and we didn?t have many good students so *makes face* you can guess how our Spanish class was last year. I envied Profe. Gray?s students. Finally I?m in 8th grade and all the Spanish taking 8th graders (and half the 7th graders) get Profe. Gray, who is an actual good teacher, so I actually get to learn something this year!!! Last year in Spanish Lauren and I sat in the back of the class and Lauren would write fanfics and I would sometimes read but usually do work in Mass Practica from an Etapa or two ahead of what we were studying? or else read ahead in the Spanish book an Etapa or two? In other words 7th grade Spanish was spent teaching my self what Senor McNear didn?t. Recently I?ve been looking into learning either Japanese or Korean. (I?ve always wanted to learn a language with a different alphabet!) And I got a few books on Japanese for Christmas.
10. Hmmm? I seem to remember posting on that? there were quite a few authors? and I was one of them. I like the thought of being able to reach people threw what I right. Also I have been thinking since that thread and thought it would be interesting to major in languages. It would be cool to be an interpreter. I?d get to go to a foreign country! Any job that would allow me to travel to different countries would be awesome! I think my father mentioned I could be a travel agent or something because they get to travel? is that true? So currently that?s all I can think of ?but it?s very late 10:00? I?ll try and edit later because there are so many more things that would be fun!
11. The reason I came to otaku boards was not so long ago when I was even newer to anime. I had just been looking for something on Yu-Gi-Oh! And stumbled upon theotaku?s Yu-Gi-Oh! Shrine. I then being terribly new to anime explored it trying to find as much as I could about any anime there was. I suppose I was just looking around the site when I noticed otakuboards. That was when I was just joining any forums I saw (which is why I have this stupid user name! ^^) and so I immediately joined? I suppose it wasn?t too much later that I posted and now that I look back I was pretty ashamed at those posts. I think I managed to look like a total idiot and upset quite a few people. After a while I realized this so kinnda stopped posting until recently. I?ve seen more interesting topics and have the slightest bit of maturity so haven?t made (as big of a) fool of my self. EDIT: oh I remember more of how I got from theotaku to otakuboards!! I think I actually fond theotaku when looking for .hack music. When I saw the jukebox I decided to try it and realized I had to be a myotaku member. I immediately registered so that I could listen to music and some how stumbled upon otakuboards. and is it just me or was there another topic like this somewhat recently (it would have to be recent if I rember it! ^^) because I remember some of these stories...
12. Kat sat in the back of English class, dozing off. A small poke in the rib from a friend sitting on her right woke her. She let out a squeak and the teacher turned to stare at her, she blushed, looking down trying hard not to laugh. As the teacher turned away Kat made eye contact with her friend and had a hard time stifling her laughter. Kat pulled out a piece of paper and started to scribble down a note her sister. The bell rang and she quickly gathered up her stuff and grabbed a piece of tape of the teacher?s desk. As she walked to her locker she stopped to tape the note onto her sister, Kitty?s locker. She dropped her books off in her own locker and ran off to lunch. Sitting down at the table she pulled off her jacket, placing it on the seat to her right. Sitting on the edge of her seat she began to scan the crowd for her sister. As more of her friends came in filling in the seats, Kat became nervous. Finally seeing Kitty she called to her, waving Kitty towards the seat she had saved.
13. Are you sure she is seriously obsessed with Bakura? Has she actually said ?I like Bakura more than you? to you? Or to another friend said she likes Bakura more than you? As my friend Lauren puts it ?you can love someone like Johnny Depp and still be faithful?. I think she?s most likely not serious. It?s not that odd to like an anime character. Just reminder her that Bakura is fictional. ?I wouldn?t really suggest pretending to be Bakura though? ?Oh and that website is? O.o
14. Hmm this is an interesting topic. I (sadly) don?t really know any members really well? but I?d still love to meat lots of people. Any one on OB that seems nice and friendly would be nice to meet and I?d also like to meet any one who might live near me (in the DC area) because it would be nice to know some any fans not just on the internet. And I?d still love that big party for all the OB members that Mitch mentioned in the Three Whishes thread. So I guess I?d just like to meet someone close by, nice people, and really anyone and everyone.
15. Can?t Gennies also not give you unlimited wishies? Wasn't that like the first thing Genie told Aladdin? And a party with all the OB people would be awesome 1) Gotta love world peace! And an end to world hunger, and help for the homeless, and all other stuff that is good. Oh! And help with the Tsunami as many people have said? I think this all qualifies as a help for the less fortunate people and the well fare of the world wish. 2) I?d love to start an anime club in school or meet some other people who I can talk to face to face about anime? or maybe ?oh yea I?m stuck in the middle of nowhere so this wish will be to be back home with my loved ones. 3) Setting the Genie free as my way of saying thanks for everything you?ve done. Gosh it?s hard to limit to just three wishes? wonder what I?d go with if it were just one?
16. I?ve watched most of the episodes on Adult Swim (I missed the first one or two) and really like it. This has been the first anime that I haven?t done any thing like read the synopsis of episodes that come later in the series or watched the very last episode before seeing any others. (I hope that made since). Ok I had a lot to say about last night?s episode but unfortunately was away from the computer; now that I am on I can?t think of what I wanted to say? I came in right when the opening theme started so I missed the very first part, but I was surprised they didn?t have much about
Nina dying in last night?s episode. Ed did still mention it and seemed angry but? from what I remember there wasn?t that much about it.
also as Dagger said I didn?t quite understand why the episode was called The Philosopher?s Stone
(I don?t know if this should be a spoiler but) they didn?t have much on The Philosopher?s Stone. Al went and asked about it then mentioned it to Ed and at the end of the episode Ed asked to be told about the stone but except for that
they didn?t say much about it at all. My brother some times comes in and watches it with me and I was surprised,
he came in when the ?lady? in the green dress was delivering food and guessed that ?she? was the killer and was using the van to store the bodies. ?My brother just came in and I told him he was right, he also just said he thought the killer was actually a man wearing a mask (ha he was wrong about that he only wore a wig)

17. Every Christmas eve my grandparents come over to our house at some time before 11 (no clue when) and then at 11 we always go to the latest Christmas eve service at church (and this year I actually get to acolyte in it! Yay!) Then when we drive home we usually look at all the Christmas decorations. We always listen to 97.1 (which is playing Dominique the Donkey right now! Yes!) On Christmas day we go to dinner at one of our family members house and the next day our hole family goes up to a ski resort to ski and we stay there till past new years. (Lately we?ve been going up to Blue Knob, PA because we recently bought a house up there!) So yes those are our ?oh so fascinating? family traditions.
18.
Yes. I'm afraid of jelly fish.
I've always been really afraid of Jellyfish too! I thought I was the only one freaked out about them. I used to refuse to go back in the ocean after seeing one. anyways I just remembered my one and only anime dream was a sailor moon one I had sometime last year were all of the sailor scouts were all flying above some building and... yea. anyways I remember once when I was really little I had this dream that it was recess at school and everyone got called in but I didn't here then I noticed that everyone was gone so went to go back in when I got caught in this really scary maze and I was really freaked out and I remember right before I woke up I was like right behind some fire and when I did wake up my back was still burning from it. Then after I finished the first Harry Potter book I was really afraid of Voldemort and had a dream were I was in a big maze like the one from the Greek story (labyrinth?) and I ran into Voldemort and got really scarred and freaked out and was like 'oh my gosh! Voldemort is back!' ...funny thing is some time after the fifth book came out I realized that?s what happened in the end of the fourth... oh yea and it was that dreams fault that the first Harry Potter book has always been my least favorite.
19. I"m 13. A lot of the younger mebers are saying they feel when they share their age people look down on them. I've never felt that but maybe it's because I rarely ever share my age. But I've been using the internet and chatting with people on it since I was 9 and I've never noticed that. It seems everyone is sharring when they came to otakuboards so I guess it's my turn! I think I had either just turned 13 or was about to when I joined... yep I've only been here since March... thats only a bit more than half a year! But it's amazing how much different I was when I first joined... I some times think back to those first posts and just want to shake my head and erase them from my memory.^^ ...and I'm sure when I'm even olde I'll look back to posts like these and do the same thing!:D

It used to confuse me a lot when I was little? but I think Fairfax is in Alexandria.
Feh, I wish. The "snow" they promised a few days ago ended up being utterly pathetic. It would certainly be nice to have a white Christmas, but I don't want to get my hopes up...
It looked pretty that night! ...just ugly the day after words... and didn't we have really slushy wet snow like one or two Christmases ago? Yes I think I kinnda remember that we went to our cousins? and my Aunt thought I was my mom? but I don't really have my hopes up that much for any real snow this year.
21. I live in the USA like oh so many other people who have posted. Now for details. I live on the East Coast in the mid Atlantic region and Virginia rox my sox off! I'm in the D.C. metropolitan area and yes... very happy. I've lived in the same area for all my life except the three years in Saudi Arabia. uh... since people have mentioned snow it snowed recently... and they are calling for flurries tonight and Christmas eve.
22. Just the other day when we were coming back from The Ski Chalet my mom had been waiting forever to get out of this side rode and on to the main road and she finally saw a nice opening and got on to the main road when this car in the other lane sees us so cuts over and gets in the way which by the way was really dangerous ?and then the car got back in the right lane. And another time last week when my dad and I were going to school we were on route 1 and there?s this ramp for people to get onto route one followed by one to get off. My dad got into the right lane so he could get on the ramp to get off and this lady getting on route 1 kept insisting on getting in front of us before letting us over to get off route 1. I?m just like what the heck? Do you really have to get in front of us when were just getting of this rode? I mean your only gonna be in front of us for a few seconds at max would it have killed you to let us just get over first? It?s just amazing how some people insist on getting in front of you when it?ll do nothing. Especially the first person who just sped up and got in front of us which was so dangerous. I can?t believe some people do that. And I agree it?s rather freaky when your going to speed limit so everyone gets annoyed with you and speeds by in front of you. There are tons more times that I can think of that are examples of aggressive driving? but *sighs*
23. Wow that?s so cool (the deja vu dreams)! But anyways everyone is talking about all these disturbing dreams. So lets talk about some happier ones! This is just one rather bazaar dream I had last year in 7th grade. It was recently after we got our pet Mocha and I remember I was just in out hose playing with Mocha when I got up? and saw Mocha again? then I saw her again? and again. Soon I realized she was multiplying? It was ?odd. I told my friends during lunch the day afterwards and Lauren went ?One Mocha, two Mocha, four Mocha, eight Mocha, sixteen Mocha?? counting on her fingers all the way till she got to five hundred and whatever Mocha and Vicky spit her drink out all over the table. So yes? funny. Oh and I just re-remembered the dream I had last night I kinnda just sat in my bed for a while thinking about it after I drempt it? aggg now I can barley remember anything about it. But it was in school and we were about to take a test and the teacher split us into groups of three to take the test then we went back the class room and when we got their my friend Kelly B. was righting one of those things where you write a word then for each letter write something about like some random Gods we were supposed to know for class? and she was reading them aloud and everything she wrote had a few curse words in them. (And I think people counting me thought it was funny which is odd cause I?m always the one getting mad at my friends for cursing.) And the two kids in my group were kids in my grade who go to my school but I had neither in any of my classes? (Oh and the girl in my group I know also likes anime a lot!) And then the teacher came in and told us to get into our groups and then started telling us all the answers to the test? and the teacher started with number 9 and everyone was really confused and then Kelly A. said something and the teacher got mad and just decided to give us the test. And questions 9, 10, and 11 were math problems even though the test wasn?t math and I remember being confused about that in my dream. That?s all I can really remember but yes I think I frequently have school related dreams.

Traveling
I went to Florence, Italy once. Was a beautiful[/i'] town. A very astounding place to visit.
I agree isn't Italy just so beutiful? I love to travel. I?m one of those people who?s been out in different countries a lot but has been to a select few states!:-D but that?s fine with me I enjoy going to different countries and experiencing the different cultures (plus they have better foods!) I once wrote a poem with all the countries we?ve been to? but sadly I can?t find it right now. Most of our travels have been in Europe and because we used to live in the Middle East we?ve vacationed in other countries there before. I?ve always wanted to go somewhere in Asia though. My dad is (I believe) the only one in our family who?s been to Asia because his business trips constantly take him there. I love traveling because of the different cultures you can experience. The most recent countries we visited where France and Germany. But we went two summers ago? I hardly call that recent. Anyways we visited Paris and got to walk around everywhere in Paris and the underground was so much fun to ride on! (Though it?s quite interesting that they have some brand new lovely looking trains and then a bunch of completely graffiti-afied old train.) And it was great fun in Germany. We stayed in Heidelberg and got to visit this one awesome castle that?s name escapes me now? but still. The only way to get up to it was to climb this huge paved hill (it?s so hard but soooo fun!^^) and we got to go to the hobstraza(sp?) like every day we were there! And chocolate ice cream in Europe is so much better! Richer? darker? anyways, we?re planning a trip to Italy soon because my moms great Aunt (I think) is really sick so we want to go visit her. Besides the last time we went to Italy I was either 5 or 7 when we went for two of my Aunts and Uncles wedding (they had a joint wedding). And I was trying to plan a trip to England since we haven?t been there in forever. Then I?m also trying to get my family to go to Korea and Japan which seems quite a bit more likely since the dollar isn?t as low there as it is in Europe. so yea... my past travels and plans for more...
25. That?s a bit ironic that this post just came up because it just snowed last night? my brother was convinced school; would be canceled (because he?s not out for break yet) but it wasn?t. I?m pretty sure that in more western Virginia and in West Virginia they got school off (or at least delays) and some places in southern Maryland and DC might have too, but I can?t see how since there was only a thin sheet of snow just enough to make the place look pretty last night and most of it had dried up by this morning but I suppose some roads could be rather icy? anyways Most favorite thing to do? Depends on were I am ?if I?m up in Blue Knob I?d diffidently be skiing (it being a ski resort) but when I?m just here probably just lots of sledding and snow ball fights, I remember once two or three years ago we had a big neighborhood snowball fight which was a lot of fun. I?ve never been that into making snow men but once last year we made about have a snow man that was sinking into the ground and put a sign in front saying ?quicksand? so yes that was fun? but really I?m just fine with running around not warmly dressed out side.^^ oh and once when we went up to Blue Knob with our friends The Curtins we built a huge igloo that one or two people could sit inside and tried to furnish it. (That was the weekend we got stuck up there because of snow storms and the people at Blue Knob had a big breakfast thing for everyone who got stuck). Oh yea and drinking hot chocolate with way to much whipped cream or marshmallows is always fun too!
