1. It probably is. And that episode with the sea creatures that were under control by that bad guy (forgot his name... I don't watch the show often) oddly had the voices of various Beatles band members.
2. In a bit, Roe and Kehho decided to seperate and meet back at that spot in an hour. They were accompanied by their friends so they weren't all alone entirely. Roe took off through the brush that Elsyan was seen to fall through and Kehho took a similar trail near it just in case she took another turn. The bad thought in Roe's mind was what if Elsyan ran at the sight of Roe because he became a dragon? He became a dragon? When did this happen? Roe couldn't remember anything of that. "Come to think of it..." he said out loud and attracted Eirian's attention, "I do remember a dragon in black and white armor. And he got down thunder. Strange." Not seeing where he was going and being clumsy, he tripped over a shadowed object. He fell to the ground and immediatly turn to the object that tripped him. "Elsyan?" He said. Then turned the person over. It was. "Elsyan. You okay?" Elsyan slowly opened her eyes and a blurred vision came into focus. Roe's image slowly grew into a perfect picture. "Hey! Your awake!" "AHHHHH!!" She screamed and Kehho and Bip came rushing through the brushes to the scene. Elsyan stood up and backed away from them. "Stay away. You may turn into a dragon." "Look, I assure you it's not a calith thing." Kehho soothed. "It may just be a Roe thing." Elsyan shot a frightened glance at Roe. "Good work, Kehho. That helped." Roe said sarcastically. "C'mon, Elsyan. I don't even know what your talking about. A dragon?" "You don't remember?" she said softly, still keeping her distance. "No. I have no idea about this dragon." "Hmm..." Meanwhile, off near the pond where the fight was done, a burnt and bruised form crawled from the water's depths. It dug it's grimy claws into the dirt and pulled some out in it's hand. It threw it back to it's native soil and crawled the rest of the way to shore. It removed all the seaweed and gunk and turned towards the woods. It snorted. "I shall take out the trash." The ogre wasn't dead and it wanted revenge.
3. I still like it, but Will Sasso was a big loss. He was one of the best! I wouldn't say they were going downhill. Just taking a step backwards.
4. Roe awoke from sudden battlecries in the distance. He glanced up and saw Eirian perched in front of him. She sqwauked and Roe got up, dusting himself off. He felt his forehead and winced. "What happened, Eirian?" The falcon flew to his shoulder and took lookout duty as Roe rubbed his eyes. They started walking again when they saw a battle in the distance. Orcs again. He squinted and noticed it was not only orcs, but Elsyan and Kehho as well. He whispered to Eirian to get a better view of the scene. The small bird shot out immediatly and scanned the small combat. She flew back in short moments. "What's the word, Eirian?" Eirian perched on his arm and acted out that Elsyan and Kehho was in trouble. "I wouldn't blame them. No two regular warriors could take on hundreds of angry orcs. We must help them. Come on Eirian!" Roe shot through the woods towards the fight, but collapsed halfway there. As he fell, Eirian flew to the treetops and watched from up there. Roe's mark on his head started to glow and he shook all about him. Suddenly, his body glowed and he grew to a bigger form. Eirian's eyes widen at the sight. Meanwhile, Elsyan and Kehho were holding the orcs off. "You foul beasts!" cursed Kehho. They stabbed and slashed through the orcs, but were soon overrun. "Were done for..." Elsyan said, slashing another orc's face. Suddenly, orcs in the far back of the horde were flying from their positions and high into the sky. This attracted all attention. A dragon with black and white armor and a sharp cutlass-like falchion flew through the crowd and slashed all that he could see. The orcs he missed he just shot thunder down and burnt them to a crisp. It was like an unstoppable force. He managed to kill all the orcs (or at least injure some as well) within seconds. But it wasn't over there. The leader of the orcs, an ogre, approuched the scene, two massive axes in hand. "You kill my army. You shall not get away with it, dragon!" the ogre spewed. "We'll see." the dragon said calmly. His voice seemed oddly familiar to Elsyan and Kehho. The ogre came dashing at the dragon and slashed his axes about. The dragon's blade met with the ogre's and a huge fight began. The dragon's thunder attacks were blocked everytime by the ogre's second axe and he had no way of getting past the 1st one. It was trouble. But this dragon was sly. He did a legsweep with his tail and tossed the ogre aside. Then he spread his wings and flew off. The ogre shook an axe. "Go ahead and run, you coward! I'll get ya, though!" The ogre ran after the dragon who landed safely in a nearby pond. The ogre emerged from the bushes and stared blankly out into the water. "Now I've got you." His axes glowed with blue swirls and he merged them together to create one big axe. "Time to take out the trash." The ogre leapt into the air, axe overhead and came down to where the dragon stood. The black and white drake quickly shot out of the way and into the sky. The ogre turned to see the dragon summoned a ball of energy into his claws. "Now I've got you." The dragon mumbled and the skies darkened and lightning flashed. The ogre looked up in horror. At this time, Elsyan and Kehho came out of the bushes to see the action. "Who is that dragon?" Kehho asked. "I dunno, but it seems familiar." Elsyan said, standing her distance from the fight. The dragon's energy ball grew with every giving second and the ogre choked. "What are you doing?" It cried. "I'm taking out the trash." The dragon grinned and the energy ball grew to a staff and became a thunder falchion. He turned the blade to the water and slammed it down, creating a huge explosion of electricity. The ogre was no more. The dragon took quite a shock from the attack himself and it flung him into some trees where he lay. All that remained of the ogre was bits of his axe that floated to the surface of the water. Eirian the falcon flew to the side of the dragon. The dragon slowly turned back to Roe.
5. yes. And nothing's wrong with a little humor. Heck, that makes it better at times.
6. Oh man. He's funny too. I like the one where he's talking about seeing old friends and they say "What are the chances of that?" and he complains about math problems. It's quite odd...
7. Back when my satellite was working I watched Sheep in the Big City everyday. That show was great! It came out when I didn't have my satellite working so I didn't know what the heck it was. Then I got the satellite to work and I watched it and I thought, "Dude! Cheese!" Then I thought, "Dude! This show's funny!" I probably find it humorous because it does the same comedy I do in my Kobra and Lamb Show, Goatman, etc... It's a good show. Wish I could still watch it.
8. not bad for photoshop work. You definately wouldn't catch me doing that good of stuff. One side seems blurred so I guess that's the side you sort of wound down on and she lacks a nose, but that's okay. krillen on DBZ doesn't have a nose and do people complain? No. But since it's an actual character that originally does have a nose, it's kind of odd, but ya know how it is. My rating: 7/10
9. Erm... no. I haven't. But I did like that episode where he's led into the lair of a giant rock warrior who use to be a great king of some land and Jack had to kill him to free him. Good tuff right there. Too bad I don't get satellite anymore. No more Samurai for me...
10. Morning came in a flash because they all konked out like logs. Roe was happy to see the sunlight spire over the mountaintops in the distance. It was warm and dominated the cool morning air. He commanded Eirian to wake Kehho as he waked Elsyan. Once all of them were awake, they set off into the woods again. It was more cheerful in the day. But somehow it still could give you the chills. "A little cold out here." Elsyan commented. Roe watched his breath show in the wind and nodded. "Yes, but I feel quite warm right now. That sun is right on me." "Only because your behind us where the sun is." "Well here then." Roe took off his cloak and handed it to Elsyan. He happily excepted the offer and put it on. "Wow. No wonder you were warm. It wasn't the sun I don't think." "That cloak is special to me." Eirian let out a cry as did Bip on Kehho's shoulder. Kehho turned to her companions with a stern face. "Orcs." she said deeply. "Orcs? Out here?" Roe questioned, but Kehho didn't answer. She studied the winds and the sounds of the forest. "Oh no." She said finally. "What is it?" Elsyan asked, a little worry in her voice. "They're very near." Her tail waved from side to side as a warning sign. "We must go. We must go now!" She quickly took the two and rushed through the woods. They now heard the roars and cries of the orcs. Every single shout from one of those monsters, Roe's mark on his head glowed and burned like it was freshly made. He put a hand to it as he ran, but ended up not seeing where he went. He silently slide down a grassy hill side without Elsyan and Kehho knowing. They continued running as Roe grew farther and farther from his friends. He landed with a thump on the hard forest floor. Eirian slowly fluttered to the ground by his side. He lifted his head up to look at her. She squawked softly. Roe gently laid his head back down and didn't move again.
11. Some boy bands are good. Like Linkin park. They're the best. I must admit, I don't like N'Sync, Backstreet Boys and all those others, but who said they were making their music for people like me?
12. OOC: Awful bloody scene! Charming description ^^ IC: Still, the night was long and they settled in another nearby spot where the canopy was thick. But they all went out to get firewood this time. And Roe was fascinated. "So this Mother Roc thing. It's a bird?" "Yes." Kehho replied. "And it is powerful I could see. But how-" Elsyan put a hand on his mouth and dragged him along. "Leave Kehho alone. Sorry, Kehho. He's had a long day." She tossed Roe down to the ground as they walked. "Ow." Roe said, face in mud. He fixed his headpiece and got up, not aware of the dark red eyes glowing in the depths of a nearby bush. Suddenly, some thing shot out and attacked Roe. As it did, Elsyan and Kehho continued walking, holding a grand conversation about the things of today. "And have you seen a picture of that Greg Toreclaw guy?" Elsyan asked. "Yes. He's so cute!" Kehho replied excitedly. "AHHH!!!" Roe yelled as whatever it was clawed his face. "I'd like to meet him one day." Elsyan continued. "Who wouldn't." Kehho agreed. "Roe wouldn't." They giggled and turned to see Roe and noticed he was being invaded... by a small bird. "Roe.. what are you doing to that bird?" Elsyan said, crossing her arms. "It's not me! It's a stupid falcon!" The falcon clawed Roe once more, then flew up into the sky. "Finally." Elsyan and Kehho giggled again when they saw Roe approuch. His face was scratched up good. "Ha ha. Funny, funny. I'll have to cheer myself up." He took out a small flute from his knapsack and began to play a soothing song. Then, out of the sky, the same falcon dove at Roe. "NOT AGAIN!" But instead of attacking feircely, the bird, perched on his shoulder as if under a spell. "Wha?" "Roe. Play your flute." Elsyan urged. "Okay." He did and the bird swayed his head again. "Hehe! It's listeing!" They now got a better look at the small bird. It was a falcon as Roe said. But not just a falcon. It had silver wings and it's beak looked like it shined of gold. "What kind of falcon is that?" Kehho asked. "I can't say." Elsyan said, turning her head with the bird. Roe stopped playing for a moment. "Whatever it is, it's mine now. I have a pet just like Kehho and Bip. I shall call him Macgowen. It means metal, but I'll call him Mak for short." "What if it's a girl?" "Er... are you a girl?" The bird nodded it's head in response. "Dang it all. Well, you shall be Eirian because that means silver. Fits ya better anyways." And so, they gained a new friend, Eirian. "Indeed we did."
13. They quickly ran to the spot Roe pointed out because the rain began to pour. It also was getting dark out and it wasn't bright to be out in the rain and the dark of the night. Especially with Iris out there. They made it to their natural shelter and settled down. "Hm... well... I guess we should start a fire and make camp." Roe suggested. "Right." Roe went out to gather some wood as Elsyan started to build a good spot to camp. The rain blurred her vision in the distance so she couldn't see if anyone was coming or leaving. Even Roe. This worried her as it would for anyone. She finally got everything set up and sat down to wait for Roe to return. She saw a figure coming and got up. "Roe?" But it wasn't Roe. She was snatched up by a bunch of men with knives and bows. She screamed out "Roe!" but there was no sign of the calith. "Shddup!" One said and smacked her on the head. She turned around and stabbed him with his own dagger. She fell to the ground in pain. Another one approuched. "Why you little..." She stabbed him as well. Then another. And another. That's when they all ganged up on her. There was too many to count. It was like a small army. She was trapped. But if on cue, Roe emerged from the woods with his sword and slashed everyone in his path. He grabbed up Elsyan and ran away from them. "Well this is familiar." he said to her. Then he tripped and fell. "That was too." She said in an odd tone. They turned to see they were surrounded from all sides by roughians. "Let's mess 'em up." One said and they approuched with knives and bows.
14. Right on. ;) I'll post after another post is made. I'm waiting to see if Samantha is going to post before I do.
15. Well... I'm eating a sandwich and having lemonade-Oh! You mean the story? Right. Well, I've only skimmed through some posts, but Marth and Lethe are hungry. Lacroix is doing something (Sorry. Haven't read his yet). And Roe and Elsyan have met up and almost fought a big snake. Is that good enough? :bluesweat
16. OOC: Haha. Okay. You do that. See ya Oct. 4.
17. OOC: That's okay, Harlequin. IC: Elsyan perked her ears as the sound grew louder. She readied her rapier for attack on anything that would strike. Roe lost was not the problem here right now. She then heard a hissing noise. She peered into the bushes and saw nothing. Suddenly, two yellow glowing eyes emerged, one as big as her head! She jumped back, then started to make a run for it. "What was that?" Then she straightened up and turned around again, rapier in hand. "I must'nt run. It's time to fight. Come one out you monsterous beast!" But to her surprise, a giant long snake-like figure emerged from the bushes. It had huge spikes bulging from it's sides. A hideous creation of all that is. Elsyan went wide eyed, but was suddenly snatched by someone speeding by. He wore a robe and the hood covered their face. Besides, Elsyan couldn't get a good look at them. The figure was clumsy, though. He tripped and the two went flying down a hillside and landing KERPLOP on the grassy floor. First the figure, then Elsyan right on top of them. The impact threw the hood off their head. It was Roe! "Glad you could show up, Roe." Elsyan said, easing with pain. "Just in time, thank you very much." "I had that battle all fine." "But I've heard of that monster. It goes by the name of Iris. That hissing you heard, it was saying it's name. It's a giant snake. Divour you whole, it will." "Iris?" "Yes. Now could you get off of me?" "I don't think I can. The fall was quite painful." "So is you being on top of me." Roe tried quirming. "Wuss." She said with a giggle.
18. Wow. I gotta start typing more. ^^ Roe turned out staying with Elsyan for the night. Roe didn't seem to happy, but he was. He just didn't show it. Only Elsyan's great stories cheered him up. Oh how their campfire blazed. Roe never knew how to make one and not one that was so big. It was amazing what an elf had in skill. Especially one outside of Roose. "So your from Roose, huh?" Elsyan said eating a form of cucumber. "That's far away. You don't look like an elf." "That's because I'm not. Could I have one of those?" Roe pawed at what Elsyan was eating and she handed him some. "Not an elf? You kind of have pointed ears." That's when she saw him waving tail. "Oh! Didn't notice your friend there." "Yes. I have a tail. That's because I'm a Calith. We look like humans and elves, but with a tail." "And a wild hair doo." "Hey!" "Only pulling your tail." She said with a chuckle. Then she really did pull his tail. "AHHH!!!" Roe ran around the campfire as Elsyan laughed harder and harder. Then he ran into the bushes. "Ouchies, ouchies, ouchies..." he said as his voice faded. "Hehehe. C'mon back, Roe. I promise I won't do it again." She waited for a response before getting up. "Roe?" She stepped into the bushes. He wasn't there.
19. It's fine with me. Even better than the last :D
20. Bah! I'm behind... -.- Roe felt jolly as he went along. He had reached the nearby woods of Koorin. They were known for their mystery and misadventures. Just perfect for a curious calith like Roe. Like anyone would on a mission, you paced carefully through. The woods grew rather dark, but Roe hummed to keep the spirit flowing. An owl hooted in the trees and it's eyes glowed yellow like two overcasted suns. Roe started to feel uneasy and looked around for friendly company. Nothing. Maybe Koorin wasn't as great as expected. He took his steps cautiously, but not cautiously enough it seems. He slid down a steep grassy hill and through the trees that blocked ways. They scratched him good and blood trickled in the wind, but he continued to fall when he finally landed in a heap of leaves. They flew everywhere leaving Roe into a deep sleep. When he awoke, he was not in a forest. He was outside in the open. He rubbed his eyes and noticed a patch of poison-smell mushrooms. He picked one and sniffed it. "Poison-smell. I was drugged." He dropped the shroom and got up. Nothing in sight. "Where am I?" That's when he saw someone in the distance. He started towards them. "Hey! Could you help me?" The figure turned towards Roe. It was a she. It was an elf. He came up to her. "Hey. Do you know where I can find Roose?" "Roose?" she asked. "That's about 400 miles away on the other side of this continent." "What?" Roe held out his hand shakily. The elf took it as a welcome and shook it. "Hi. I'm Elsyan." Roe's jaw dropped and he nodded. Elsyan giggled and nodded back. "Niced to meet you too."
21. "Don't forget some cookies, a sweater, some new clothes, a lamp, something to read. Gotta keep up on your studies." "Martha. The boy's going to the next town, not into the heart of Zebdor." Mrs. Gersh folded another piece of clothing, but Roe just stuffed it in his pack like it didn't matter. "still, if anything happened to Roe..." "If anything happened to Roe? Nothing will happen to him. That boy has had skills since they day we found him." Mr. Gersh argued. "Still, Arthur, I'm not letting him go unprepared. It's a week-long journey to Akubar." Mr. Gersh crumpled his newspaper. "Alright, alright. Roe, allow her to pack your stuff." Roe nodded and allowed Mrs. Gersh to take over. "And don't forget the package that goes to Akubar. That's the most important item with you besides yourself, ya know." "Yes, sir." Roe replied. "Thatta boy." The old elf stood up and put down his paper. He walked over to where they were packing and ruffled Roe's hair as he passed. "Your a fine young man, Roe. You'll grow to be just fine." He took a glass from the cubbard and started towards the sink when he suddenly started to moan and shake. Roe and Mrs. Gersh didn't pay attention because they thought it was another back cramp. Mr. Gersh tends to get them. Suddenly, Mr. Gersh dropped his glass and it shattered on the wooden floor. Mrs. Gersh jumped at the sight of Mr. Gersh collapsing, hlding his arm. "He's having a heart attack! Help, Roe!" Roe tried to help, but it was too late. Mr. Gersh was gone. It stormed the day of the funeral and Roe's journey was postponed for a week. Akubar was informed that their delivery wasn't going to make it in time and they allowed it to slide. Roe visited Mr. Gersh's grave everyday in the Elven village of Roose. Everyday until his journey came again. it turned out to be 2 weeks later. 1 week later than suppose to be. Once again, Mrs. Gersh packed Roe's stuff and when he was about to leave the house, she gave him a big hug. Tears rolled down her soft cheek. Despite her age, she still kept her youthful beauty. Elves tend to. "You be careful out there, Roe. I don't need to lose another." "I will, madam. I will." And soon he was off. It was when he was in the cornfields outside of Roose did he turn back and look at what he was leaving behind. He dried a tear with his hand and waved his tail to and fro. And then, he was off.
