What ever happened to the chat we had a few years back?
Dragon Warrior replied to TailTactics's topic in Help & Feedback
I've down several small AIM chats with a few of the OB members. The chats were all named "Bouncing Castle," a stupid random name just like Teh Silly Circus :^D Of course, a lot of the OB chats end with me getting harmed, insulted, scolded, or raped by guys. It's scary :( -
If you're referring to graphic comics you've drawn yourself and such, there's no restriction to it. Just post them in the Art forum :) And be sure to inform people that the thread has mature content.

I live in Michigan, USA and there is, in fact, somewhere in the top of the Lower Peninsula, a town called Hell. So, as a joke around my hillbilly town of Carson City, whenever we tell someone to "go to Hell," someone tends to say "Hell, Michigan? Alright!" It's gotten old by now since we made the joke when we were... I dunno however young. But still... it makes me curious what the place is like. I guess what I'm trying to say is... ... I'm going to Hell someday. XD

Yep. This is true, but to be able to play the game, you will need to download RPG Maker 2003. By doing so, you not only can play our game "Cliché", but you can also create your own video games with ease. Heck, join the Game Makers of Otaku community while you're at it. But I get off topic. After reading through the list, I noticed plenty of things they forgot to mention, which sparked in my mind. It's so fun to see clichés like that :P
I'll attempt to save this thread...
I'll attempt to help you XD My punk friends are more obsessed over this band than anyone else. In fact, I hear about them quite a bit, they have the clothing, the CDs constantly play around them... I fear I know their music just from being in my friends' presence. But I don't mind. They have some good songs. I don't feel I like them that much, but there are various songs that go along the lines of rock to me, which I love. But that's just me. I get yelled at by fans when I say I hear a hint of rock in them.

I haven't really listened to My Chemical Romance and/or know any of their songs really, but the idea is intriguing. The story of killing 1,000 men to raise his dead lover is really cool sounding, very dark and morbid. If you're planning on doing an RPG, there is one way you can go about doing it. Have a certain amount of people join and each take turns writing a story about one of his exploits of killing someone (or probably more than one person because 1,000 stories would be very long and demanding). Each story would link to the previous one and the next one. Just a thought there. That is, unless you had another idea of how to go about this.

Well, there you go. Mainly modern-day RPGs are cliche! I really can't think of one RPG that isn't similar to another, and that includes RPGs made by game-makers for RM2K and such. Final Fantasy 7, which is one of the leaders in the RPG world, is one of the most cliche plots of all time.
An evil dude wants to destroy the world because he's pissy.
What makes them slightly their own is their characters, sideplots, different themes (in Final Fantasy 7's case, they made a very elaborate and intriguing futuristic environment), and monsters, etc. So, "Cliche" may become one of the every day RPGs... making fun of every day RPGs XD
-
Actually, being a game-maker, I found this page and had the idea of using it to make a computer RPG using the program RPG MAKER 2003. The game would be called "Cliche" or something and it'd use every one of those cliches on that list... and then some. I might still do it.

In truth, anime is considered nerdy and dorkish due to the fact that it's highly different than other shows we watch. Anime tends to possess things in it that can be considered... weird. Like the overly-dramatic moments it has or the sweatdrops or when they make the characters go all kawaii for a moment (that's just... ruins the atmosphere for me). If I ever call someone a dork for liking anime, I'm kidding, but in retrospect, these are the reasons I don't like anime. Odd I go to an anime forum, eh?

I don't really watch anime, but many years back I recall being bored and an episode of Cowboy Bebop was on, so I watched it because... well... there was nothing else on! It was
some love story with that Faye Valentine girl and this one guy. I can't remember it all the way, but I recall it being sad. Except in the end of the episode, she rejected his ***.
As fun as that episode was, I dislike that show =/

Well, closing time for this now. It's sad some of you never completed your sign ups. But what's done is done. I shall post who made it in good time. Thank you all. -Dragon Warrior

I tend not to go to movies for the actors and such. It's just the movie itself and how it sounds that catches me. Then again, I watch a lot of movies I'm not even interested in just to get a feel for other genres I don't really have a taste for. But I am guilty for going to a movie with Tim Burton involved. Just his name in a film will get me thrilled. Otherwise, no one else catches my fancy.
-
I'm back for a day from vacation, so I'll use this opportunity to say that sign ups end the 19th! Better get crackin' if you wanna join! And those of you who have posted unfinished sign ups, you best finish. :)
-
I'm happy to be apart of the group :3 Feel free to challenge me to a battle, but for now, I will be gone on vacation until the 19th of August, so it'd be pointless to challenge me from now 'til then. But when I return... ;)
-
There's about fifty threads on this movie alone :P And the people that tend to not like it either think it's weird or scary. Goths seem to drool over its dark atmosphere. Me? I Like it for its artistic style. Tim Burton is brilliance and so is his team of hard-working individuals. And it's not just a kids' film. It's made for everyone. There's more to it than meets the eye and that's where age groups are seperated.

This was fun. Hope you like it and Happy Birthday.

Eh, I was thinking of Henry Selick and Monkeybone. XD Well, isn't that the mistake of the year, aye, Generic? And I believe it comes out in the UK and America the same day, which is September 23rd. So count on that date. But if you don't start seeing commercials on TV near that time, worry :P
-
I definitely like it better than the last layout... not too big of a change. But I'm also aware it wasn't easy making these, so... I like the title banner the mood. Good work, James, I like it, as I already told you on AIM.
-
A place for gaming clans. We're making clans. That's all I know. I asked James :< And when I asked if I could have destructive power, he said yes :^D I drooled so much I needed a towel. Oh, dear God, did I need a towel.
-
That's understandable. I'm the same way for bands nobody has ever heard of. It's a natural human emotion to love to be the one to know something nobody else knows. :D Unfortunately everybody knows Tim Burton and Corpse Bride is no secret ;)
-
So does this mean you want to see it now? XD Hooboy... that's just like my dad. He won't see something unless others tell him it's good. Which is why it's a pain in the butt to get him to see Charlie. He saw one bad review for it, hasn't looked at any others, and is stuck on not wanting to see it. He has no reason either! Nevertheless, I hope you will like it because you do like it, Kamuro :) Not because someone else does.

I dunno. I think the madness would be unlimited if I were in the same place with Shinmaru, Syk3, Ozymandius Jones, Charles, and Fitar. The show wouldn't make any sense and the constant discussion of porn, homosexuality, and women would come up almost 98% of the time. The other 2% would be nothing but me drooling uncontrollably due to brain loss. I'm not sure who else would want to be in a house with Shin, Syk3, Ozy, Fitar, Charlies, and myself, but if they are willing, they're more than welcome. I'd think me alone would be stupid enough.
-
I guess it does count, since your imagination made him come alive. I have a stuffed animal pitbull that's red named Daniel. I even gave him a real dog collar and everything. Now we were good buddies. He went all over the place with me and slept with me at night and watched movies with me and everything. Even when I had a cat he was snuggled close to me. I still have him and he too sits on the side of my bed's headboard.
One day while out for a drive, my boyfriend and I found a tiny kitten in the middle of the highway. We pulled off and she came running right over to the car. We took her home and bathed her and gave her some milk. She was so cute and tiny. I named her Mini-cat. I took her into my home, and things seemed fine, but a few weeks afterward that she started with some problems. She seemed to have bowel control problems. Poo would just ooze out of her. As she was super sweet, I took care of her and took her to the vet and just cleaned up after her. Once I got pregnant though, she had to go and cat feces is especially dangerous to little unborn people. I miss my Mini. ;_;
Charming tale. One reason this cat might of had problems (aside from possible diseases or worms since it was a stray) is that you gave it milk. If this is continuous, it could've been dangerous. Most cats are lactose intolerant and milk is very harmful to them. Some adult cats are fortunate enough to be able to handle it.
