Puss in Boots came from the old book called Puss in Boots! The story was quite odd. An old miller, before passing away, left three things to his three sons. The oldest got the mill, the middle son got a goat, and the youngest son got a cat (aka Puss in Boots). The oldest began working production with the mill, the middle child set off to make a fortune with his donkey, and the youngest sat down and sulked about his earnings. He plotted what he could do with a simple cat! That's when Puss in Boots said (and it was, for some reason, normal for cats to talk back then), "Do not sulk, master. You get me a pair of boots, a cat, and a bag, and I'll set off to make a fortune for you." So, obeying his feline companion, he got the supplies and Puss in Boots set off. The story continues to where he tries to make money for my master. An interesting tale. In the actual PIB book, he fights an ogre, therefore that's most likely where the Shrek 2 movie got the idea of having Puss in Boots as the notorious ogre slayer >:^D
-
I dunno, Sir Ryan. This movie was pretty kicka$z and it's gonna be a while before it comes out. Is it leaving theatres this week or something? I think the Shrek 2 movie is making Puss in Boots popular. People know him from this movie, not from his original origin XD
-
Well, I don't see why they cast Antonio Banderas for the part. PIB is actually French so one would expect a french accent. But hey, I guess it fit the part of him. Antonio did do a good job with it. He just had to alter his actual voice a little XD

Well, I know someone. The guy you thought of--ME! I've actually liked the dude ever since I was little. He was one of my favorite characters from stories back then with his unusual antics and awesome ventures. He was just a bonus in Shrek 2 and made me "bwee" over him. I feel like a kid again XD

Well, this Dragon Warrior has been possessed by the Puss in Boots God. I are now obsessed with this character (not just because of Shrek 2). I've enjoyed drawing numerous pictures of him from Shrek2 Puss in Boots to the original one from the book. I'm very pleased to show you one of them (since the other three I've done are too big to scan in). I'm also including my exclusive crappy Puss in Boots banner I made within seconds after scanning my sketch. Enjoy :^D

Me likie Vivi :< Why? Because's a Black Mage! Though Black Mages are popular in FF games, you've never actually witnessed real black mage characters as one of the main roles. Not to mention FF9 being my favorite game of the series since they produce more Black Mage plotline than any other (aside from the silly FF1 game where you may be a BM). His character is interesting too and
how he turns out to be the most powerful Black Mage in existance is intense, baby
. Definately some serious shiz here :D

Curious, is the Dragon Warrior :< ------ Name: Miles Sparrow Age: 25 Side: The Lowendove Brotherhood Gender: Male Species: Human Race: Country and nationality? He'll be from London, England to keep it right there :) Description: Description? Fine, I have a description. A man who looks solumn and alone. One who is handsome, yet unattractive in his sense. A man who has turned only to God as a priest for he feels it's the only way through life. A white man, not too pale, but not so dark he looks like his days are at the beach. He, after all, spends his time in his church. He usually wears black and he never felt ashamed to wear his collar anywhere. He wore white underneath occassionally, but even if not in his priest garments, you didn't see the man in much color. Black clothing; you could say it represented his soul at times. Even for a priest he could be dark-hearted. But as said before, his life was enraptured by loneliness. Yes, indeed, he was a man who belonged to God. Personality: Don't expect him to keep a strong conversation going on for long. His church semenars will be his longest chat in any situation. He'll keep to himself and not bother doing anything social-like. One person he really talks to is God. Is he really that religious? Possibly so. But he also chooses solitude; a world without others. Maybe he just hasn't found a person he chooses to be worthy of him breathing near. So ultimately, he finds himself a quiet and solitary man. But when he does speak, it could often end in anger. Be careful what you say. His patience is slim. He's very picky, in a way. One reason why vampires are marked down on his list.
"A world without vampires is like a rose without thorns; the beauty has lost the beast." -Miles Sparrow
Weapons: What else would a priest use? Two silver berettas will do for him and naturally some vampire slayin' tools. Can we say crosses and stakes? Place of Birth: London, England Biography: Original is not a choice in this case. Everything that is done has been done before, but changed to fit a liking. But who really chooses their life's path, hm? Miles didn't. Since his birth in the Lodingdem Hospital, he was despised by everything. It's possibly a reason he chooses solitude. His parents didn't show their hate immensely, but when they got the chance, they scolded him. Not a dark childhood, but when two unsettling parents like Miles' wed, there's bound to be someone they take their fury for each other out on. It didn't stop there. Oh no. It continued even at school. He wasn't good at sports, he was terrible in academics. He found his pure enjoyment out of writing. I take back the thing about academics. He was great in Language Arts and Writing. He wrote many things from poetry to stories, but they'd just eventually be tormented by his pupils. No friends, a family not many would want, where was he to turn to? God. He seemed like the answer. The only one in the world that hadn't turned his back on Miles. He went to church every chance he got whether it be after school or even when he should be sleeping. He even got his parents to take him every Sunday--one of the only things the two adults would do for their son that was slightly kind. Ah yes, God and heaven. They'd never turn their back on Miles Sparrow--ever! The next chapter in his life was when he turned thirteen. His parents were returning from the theatre where they saw a play about a burglar who posed as a barber... or something like that. It didn't matter. What mattered was vampires were out. Not the ones who were civilized neither. The rogues. The ones who you should fear. Unfortunately for Miles' father, he had left his vampire weapon at home in which he usually brought with him on nightly outings. Miles didn't receive the news 'til the next day.
Mr. and Mrs. Sparrow, London, England, Found dead June 18th, 1997.
Sparrow's life changed once more. He was immediately sent to an orphanage. He was too young to live by himself and family relations couldn't be reached for some reason--possibly because neither of them wanted anything to do with Miles. As if his luck never changed, he was never adopted. Once old enough, he was turned back to the streets to make a living. He hadn't gone to the church since the night of his parents' deaths. It may be time to forgive his lord and return. So he did and had never left. He also never trusted another soul. He wasn't sure why he was never liked. He found himself enjoyable when he was younger, but as he saw the world turn bleak on him, he shunned any social relations that greeted him. His soul is gone; just reflections of pain in those black pools of his eyes. Cold blood rushing through his veins. Though he never really liked anyone, one could never not love their parents when they've lived with them for so long. That's how he felt. God knows he loved them, but he didn't show it. I mean, they were his parents. So something had to be done to take away the pain. That may be the reason he lives like he does. Life isn't cut out for such stupidity as he drowns himself in. It was time to take action. Lowendove seemed like the likely source for the situation--he wanted his revenge. Vengeance was the key, he believed. Even if it were against what he actually did believe. Forgive him, Lord... Vampires were his enemy forever.

Writing OtakuBoards members doing stupid stuff.
Dragon Warrior replied to MaxSonic's topic in Creative Works
*reads through* Woah, since when did I invent random? That's not my style. It's been done so many times before. I just use fresh material. As for me, since I understand random insanity like it were another lingo, it was humorous to me, but yes, plotline does tend to help. I even shame myself when making those completely pointless (and rather disturbing at times) animations that sometimes do get out of hand. I've tried to curve my stories along the lines of actually having some meaning at the same time of keeping that style I supposedly invented O.o But I don't wanna sound like your grand-daddy so no lectures >:^o Aside the point, this is aight for random fun in a box, but I'm not sure what you expected to be audience reaction. You got one, that's for sure :) -
Well, Ed, they also mention their demo release this December will have the 10 scenes so maybe they're just referring to that when they say it's not going to completed yet. It could possibly be something quite different. Either way, they definately made this situation very vague :<
What's with his expression in this picture[/u']?
He feels very pleased with himself XP I think on their site not too long ago (it may still be there or they may of deleted it), they said this is going to stay a free product to be downloaded on the web. So in other words, this isn't going to be on a console.
-
Well, the idea of bringing it out onto a console being impossible yes, since there'd be issues between them making the game without Square Enix's permission. Even if they ask Square Enix if they can sell it under their name, I doubt it'll go through since it wasn't the actual SE company making it. And your point about his muscles is the good point. I see what you mean :) But aside from his muscles, the Chrono characterset looks air-mazing, in my own vocabulary.
-
Heh, I dunno where you've been Sciros, but Chrono Trigger has always been DBZ-style anime. And you guys wouldn't believe how many people talked about his muscles on another forum. I seriously don't mind since if you're gonna save the world, might as well look like you're packin' it, right? He's packin' it, even for a... what? 14 year old? Someone told me he was that age.
-
No, I don't mean Chrono is back from the dead. Some non-official game team called Resurrection Games has taken the idea up of making Chrono Trigger 3D. It'll be a PC game and their first demo releases this Christmas. The graphics are amazing and the music that they remixed is kicka$z too. I'd have to say I don't mind them doing it. I mean, it's not like they're ruining the original. I've heard many complain it's ruining the original, but I don't see it is. But that's my opinion. It was time! Time to set off on the epic quest that'd decide the fate of Domking Kingdom! Ooo... exciting, yes. Our lofty heroes had just recieved word from the king that they must set off on this noble adventure to save Princess... er... her name's not important. So they started off. Their first stop was to shop around a little in the town of Domking just outside the castle. The heroes decided to split up in groups so Bobagorn went with Jack and Loki went with Ryo. How dull ;_; 'Dis is where our story opens :] ---------- Alright. I started us off in the short sense. We don't have lots of money, but just need some basic utensils and such. Have fun :D
-
Bwee. That looks like everyone. I'll start this beast right away! Look for it in the Adventure section :^D

Hello, you RPers, you! I am Dragon Warrior--here to tell you about the new epic adventure of Farse Tales! Well, as some of you may know, farse means joke and this is more or less a joke on fairy tales. Yes! A comedy RPG! In the tale, the villain (will be played by one of us) will start off by kidnapping the princess of the kingdom Domking. Typical right? Well, that's where we turn things up. We start our journey (the 4 heroes) to get to the villain's castle where we'll run into numerous fairy tale characters and settings. This RPG responds to your creativity and imagination alone. Since its plot isn't that elaborate, it's up to us to make it more advanced and not too cliche. Think you've got what it takes?
Cast
Look above and you'll see five characters to choose from: Chef, Fighter, Warrior, Mage, and Villain. Those are the positions of this RPG you can take up. The deal is, you must choose one that hasn't been chosen already and fill out at the sign up form below. Simple, I suppose. If you're the villain, you pretty much party by yourself and cause trouble for the heroes. If you're one of the four others, you're a hero and travel with your 3 other companions. Yays! Select a chara and fill this out: Name: Think Medieval or Fairy-Talish Character: One of the four (four since I'm the warrior) Gender: If you're really a girl, make your chara a girl. Same for a guy (if you're a guy, your chara's a guy). This is so no bad RPing is done since it's happened in the past. Facts: Any facts about your character you wanna fill in. Be creative here :^D My Stats: Name: Loki Character: Warrior Gender: Male Facts: The proud hero of... the heroes. Yeah. Anyways, he's the most bravest of the team of heroes who set off on this noble quest, but he also tends to get into the most danger where the others must do something about it (if they can). He'll deliberately put himself in trouble just so he can get out of it and show off (if he can). Tough luck for him, though, since he usually can't. But he likes his pubs and the women ;^) Have fun, peeps :^D

Art Boo Saves James Brown [animation]
Dragon Warrior replied to Dragon Warrior's topic in Creative Works
Yes, James Brown was saved, but then killed O.o And no, Shippo. These take about 5 minutes to make (at least, this crappy of an animation). Other animations like Daily Comic or Mr. T Adventures takes a long while. -
This is rather awesome looking. They're coming out with so many new Zelda games it's overwhelming. This, Four Swords Legends, rumors of yet another Gamecube one (aside from the Four Swords Adventures), etc. I'm having fun with this. I must learn more >:^D

Art A Story That Should Not Be Told [Another Animation]
Dragon Warrior replied to Dragon Warrior's topic in Creative Works
Yeesh, I didn't know it'd be that successful ^_^ I mean, I found it funny, but who knew! Thank you for the comments. I'm probably going to make a thread for my slightly disturbing comedy animations like these. And Boo, it's funny how I draw them crappy. It's what makes it sexy >:^o -
Art A Story That Should Not Be Told [Another Animation]
Dragon Warrior posted a topic in Creative Works
Lock the doors, close the windows, and put your children to bed because this animation is random nonsense by me :^D If you've witnessed some of my other whacky animations, get a load of this. About 2 to 3 minutes on jibberish up the wazoo :^o And yet, some people find it funny. There are humorous points. SUGGESTED THAT YOU DON'T WATCH IF YOU HATE INSANITY! CLICK TO WITNESS -
Well, word up, girl ^_^ Thank ya. I've never actually finished a serious story before (mostly because support and inspiration is scarce), so I'm just hoping for something different soon. If I do finish a serious story, it's short and it's been forced by a school assignment XD They're usually crap too. I'll write more of this, but only if more than one person wants to read on. It's not worth my time for just one person, even you ^_^;

Oh yeah, there's going to be a sequel too, but I must plot what random storyline will be used >:^D Also look out for Mr. T Adventures: T Assassination! -
Boo made me make this animation and Vicky made me post it :] WARNING: MAKES NO SENSE! CLICK HERE TO WATCH

Writing There's Something About Gavynn [New Series]
Dragon Warrior replied to Dragon Warrior's topic in Creative Works
Yes yes, it was very sexy, I know. I probably should've warned that it's not for little kids, though, since it has sexual language and situations XD Anyways, if enough peeps like it, there will be more. I've learned my lesson in the past that you don't waste time on a story if only one person likes it ^_^
