I don't really know what i want for Christmas. It's kinda sad, I usually know what I want. I'll probably end up getting a Nintendo DS or something like that. Maybe something else, i don't know. I remember getting the N64, it made me sooo happy. I don't know, it's just i remember being very excited for it. I remember this one Christmas my dad got the presents under the tree early, well let's just say i knew before Christmas day.

Well, it's a little more complicated. If they were to start letting people off for shooting people in the leg, then they'd be going against that law that protects us all. Even if the person was defending themselves. Who's to judge who the innocent and guilty are? You would have to have some real solid evidence one way or the other, a shot wound is pretty hard evidence... Now i'm not disagreing with you necessarily. If i were in that position i might have shot, if i truly felt it was either me or them. If i thought i could get away only getting beat up, then i would. I would never want to take a life, it's not right, it's just not. But if somebody else's life were threated, especially a loved one, i wouldn't even hesitate, i'd aim and shoot. And i'd aim to kill. There is no such thing as a perfect government or set of laws, there will always be flaws. The only possible way to even get close to something perfect would be to become a dictatorship. It's a good idea, it's just that most dictators go corrupt, and lose it. If they could get a really good dictator, someone truly pure and good, then it'd be close, but only in opinion. Ah! i'm getting confused now. I don't think it'd be possible period.
While Halo is a good game, I do want to mention how OVERRATED this game is. Halo has only 2 reasons for being liked by a lot of people: it had good graphics and horribly simplistic gameplay. It requires little skill to be good at the game, so everyone was like " Look at me, I roxorz!" This utterly disgusts me, because there are little tactics involved in the gameplay and none of the concepts of the game coordinate. When I say the concepts don't coordinate, I mean the fact that 5 shots from the assualt rifle does damage near that of one shot from the pistol (not to mention the assualt rifle only hits you enemy 5 times when you unload your whole clip of 30 on them). Why would it be so weak, or why is it so innaccurate if he is in a 2 ton suit? Burst fire won't increase your accuracy either. Not to mention this is the future, so they might even not have recoil for the marines, let alone someone in a Spartan. These flaws make me not as fond of the game like the whole world seems to be. I, personally, have not played Halo 2, nor do I plan on buying it any time soon. The reason for that is I do not see enough new things coming from it that I can't experience with the original Halo. The biggest difference between the two, IMO, is the fact that 2 has Live support. The small increase of graphics isn't anything great (gameplay>graphics, so that means even less). They have added some more multiplayer features, which is great, considered the game revolves around it. They also added some weapons and balanced some which were already there. While improving some of those things, they have also come at the cost of glitchy gameplay. It all sounds like the single player levels are somewhat reminscent of the problems many players had with the level The Library. I am not sure how repetitive the levels actually are, I've just heard from multiple sources. These small improvements do not attract me in enough to feel hyped about the game, since it was never insanely great in the first place. I hope to play it myself in order to find out how the game is first-hand.
You are very annoying and obviously very ignorant. You can't just go to a forum and start bashing what everybody loves otherwise everybody is going to call you a d**k. Like me for example. To me it just sounds like you're another little kid who keeps getting beat by your older brother so you don't like it. Well guess what, it's an awesome game, all the things you mentioned were totally off. You're crazy. You haven't even played halo 2 yet and you're bashing it. Well, i just got done playing it for about 5 hours and believe me, it's awesome. You need to go back to your crapy a** ps2 and leave us all alone.

I'm having trouble on Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec. Whenever i go to look at my replay after i finish my race the car in the replay always runs into the wall and stays there. It's really strange, and it's obviously not me, i'm not running into walls. If anybody has had this problem before please help me fix it, or at least tell me why it's doing it. thanx.

True Love. . .or something opposite
Attimus331 replied to kenshinsbabe's topic in General Discussion
I don't think god has any control over any of us. I don't think he can just say, hey, that guys an ***, i don't think i'll let him find his true love. Besides god loves us all. Also he gave us all free will, if he were to somehow prevent us from finding our true love then he would be defying himself, he can't do that. I believe love is different for different people. I also don't believe in one true love. That's bs i think. I think a person could have many true loves, there are way too many people on this planet for everybody to just have one, and if i were wrong it would be nearly impossible for somebody to find that one true love, and do you really wanna believe it's impossible? I don't. I think it was just lust, not love. It's foolish to worry about it. And if you care so much about him then use the internet. You have AIM don't you? E-mail? A place where he can send you mail? A phone? Morse code? The list goes on, do something. Once again, if it's bothering you, DO SOMETHING! do not procrastinate, believe me, it's not a good idea. -
Ehmm....wow, a lotta people seem to like malice mizer all of a sudden... Well bud, i say follow thy heart, but don't leave the brain out. Don't have sex, that's bad....Listen, if you're so hot, go find somebody else, if you find yourself still thinking about her after you got yourself a new lady friend then maybe you should go back to her. And also remember this it's only high school (i'm assuming) it means next to nothing. After highschool people rarely get back in touch with each other. So, do what you want.

Us dictators need our food to keep up our strength, don't ya know. McDonalds Guy: Hey, you don't have to be mean about it! *starts crying, and walks away* Sudam thinking: oh ****, i made him cry infront of the jury... Jury Member #1 thinking: Darn that Sudam, i really wanted my chicken McNuggets...
Are you actually stating that provoking a bully more is going to solve the matter... Wow that takes the cake, thats why so many kids get their butt beat. Dissing the bully isn't going to do anything at all, besides make yourself look like a dick. Avoiding the situation is the best thing to do, don't push them back, don't call them names, none of that. That is just bound to get you in more trouble.
I dunno, it depends. I've seen bullies just back down when provoked. And it also depends on the kinda person the person doing the provoking is. Ignoring him isn't always the best idea, especially if you see the bully everyday, like on the bus or at a certain class. In that case ignoring will probably just get you picked on more. I'm not saying go pick on a bully, i'm just saying be smart about it. But i do agree somewhat with what you said. Fighting back can make you look like a dick, try not to say anything stupid. "your face" is not an effective comeback. Best thing to do is hope you don't get bullied or don't make it easy for a bully to pick on you.
It's hard to describe death because nobody has same back to tell us what it is like to experience death. Most people say they experience death but no one can be sure. I would imagine death as if you're floating from this world to another world, if there is one out there.
How do you know nobody's come back to describe death to us? You've probably just never seen it, it doesn't mean there isn't one. I am thinking of a book in particular, but i've never read it myself. I've only heard of it. Mainly it's about a man being possesed by a spirit, or he simply could comunicate with the spirit. I'm not saying i believe in it, i'm simply saying that there is a book. Really to answer your question you'd have to go into religion and one's own beliefs. I think you'll go on to live in heaven or hell forever, you know that whole stuff. Although i do honestly have a lot of doubts on the matter. If not that then i'd imagine we'd just sit in the dirt and rot away, and that'd be the end of it all.....i'll go with the first choice. Cross your fingers and hope you're good enough for heaven....that was a joke by the way.

OOC: please pm me if there is anything wrong. you can also get in touch with me through AIM, if i'm on, at attimus331 Name: Nakashima, Kazuma Age: 15 Gender: Male Appearance: Kazuma somewhat personifies the ?punk? character, although his personality doesn?t really match it. He usually wears (outside of class) an old black band hat under his long messy brown hair. He has his left ear pierced in three different places (one up top and two near the bottom), he wears a black bracelet with metal spikes on his right wrist, and a blue digital watch on his other. He keeps most of his face hidden with his long hair; he has blue eyes and a small scar on his upper left forehead. His scrawny arms are no good for hand to hand combat but are very fast. He wears a jacket with many pouches on them (like the ones in Naruto). And he wears baggy, loose-fit jeans. Personality: He doesn?t often talk during class, and seems like a loner, but his friends know this to be far from the truth. With his friends he?s the center of attention, always talking and joking around. Kazuma is a funny person; he owes that mostly to his intelligence. He is somewhat of an intellectual in his thoughts; you can tell whenever he?s thinking because he randomly stares off into a corner for long periods of time. He?s not shy around other people at all; he simply dislikes most people, as he sees most people as being complete and utter fools. He can be very mean often times without realizing it. Grades: Taijutsu ? As you?ve probably already guessed, Kazuma isn?t very talented in the hand to hand category. His weak arms keep him from being very powerful, luckily his decent speed allows him to maintain fighting against an opponent of moderate skill. Genjutsu ? This is where Kazuma shines. He?s awesome at the art of illusion, no one can beat him in this category. His quick thinking and sharp mind allow him to conjure even the most complex illusions in the midst of combat. Ninjutsu ? He?s only a little better at ninjutsu than he is at taijutsu, which really isn?t saying much. He hopes to become more inclined with this skill than he does with taijutsu, as he admires the art greatly (his father was a true master at it). Introductions are in order: okay, I?m not sure what this means, but I think that you said that I could just leave a post from one of my other rpgs, so that?s what I?m doing: Marshal sat alone in his small room alongside his bed. His back was facing the door of the ugly room; his bony legs laid open on the cold floor. In-between his legs was his old, gray backpack laying unzipped, Marshal was going through all of his belongings, as he often does to make sure nobody has taken anything while he wasn?t looking, or while he was sleeping. Marshal found the inn only a couple of months ago, and still didn?t trust any of the other kids. Marshal?s small hands started to go through his backpack for the second time when the faint patter of tiny feet could be heard through the thin walls of his room. He quickly zipped up his backpack and went deafly quiet, the footsteps grew louder, and louder until finally he could hear a door open, it was only his neighbor, Kally. The two have never actually spoke to each other before, but the thin walls of the old inn kept no secrets between the two, that one couldn?t hear. Marshal was slightly relieved, but didn?t quickly go back to his previous activity until he heard Kally pull out her old violin. He?s heard her play her violin on many occasions before and has developed a strong liking of the sad, yet beautiful music Kally so gracefully created on the old instrument. Marshal would often sing along with Kally in his head, it was his only escape from the unattractive and dirty world he lived in. After listening to Kally?s melody for a couple of minutes, Marshal for the first time realized that he longed to meet the musician behind the elegant songs he?s grown so accustomed to. Unfortunately, Marshal still didn?t feel secure enough with his self to do anything about his feelings. Marshal then opened up a side pouch on his backpack, and pulled out a small piece of stale bread. He greedily gobbled it up in a matter of seconds, easily wiping out his entire supply of food. He decided to wait till later to replenish his supply, maybe sometime later that night, like he usually does to get food. He then got up and placed his backpack in the small closet beside the door that led out of his room, and climbed up onto his cold bed. He laid there thinking with his hands crossed under his head.

Well, i got my name from FLCL. I'm the space pirate king attimus or something like that. I haven't seen the anime in a long while. And i also know i didn't spell it according to how it's correctly spelt. No, i can't say i act like him, but i can't say i don't act like him. You only get to see him, so he doesn't really have a personality for me to mimic.

I don't think you should not like it just because it's getting really popular. I don't think it's dead, but it's not what it used to be. If you really like punk music then keep listening to it, that's what i'm going to do. Just ignore the preps.

I have a xbox and xbox live, and i was wondering if i should get Fable or Star Wars: Battlefronts. Please help me. On one hand i've been waiting for Fable for nearly 2 years. I really love the thought of the game. The whole concept just seems cool. It got an 8.6 on Gamespot On the other hand i really love star wars, and multiplayer games. I'm afraid that if i get Fable i'll get tired of it after one play through. I love multiplayer games, mainly because of the replay value, and the interactions with other people. This game is supposed to be a lot like battlefield 1942, so if you know about that, then tell me about it. The game got an 8.2 on Gamespot. I'm currently leaning a little more towards Star Wars...

A man without religion is like a fish without a bicycle.
Attimus331 replied to Godelsensei's topic in General Discussion
I?d have to disagree with Siren and Bio. I simply believe in the separation between church and state. The French recently had an issue (actually they still might be, I haven't checked up on it for a while) about this kinda stuff. They wouldn't let the girls wear the scarf things, they were angry, and I even think some terrorists kidnapped some journalists threatening there lives if the French didn't change the law. I really don't think any of that religious stuff should be allowed. You can't say yes to a kid carrying around a bible or a cross and say no to the kids carrying around the daggers (well maybe not daggers, but you get my point), that's being hypocritical. And personally I just plainly don?t like it when I see the Christians carrying around their bibles; it just reminds me of some of their ideals that I don?t necessarily agree with. Luckily at my school I don?t see any of that?although I do here some rude comments every now and then. ?Oh, you?re gay? I guess I won?t see you in Heaven then?.? Stupid remarks like that? I?m not saying rather it?s true or not, or even saying there is a Heaven, but I am saying I think it?s very rude and ignorant to say something like that, nobody needs that, and it definitely doesn?t help anybody either. As far as the whole ?intellectual growth? thing, I disagree with that as well. In a class of 30 kids, you can?t possibly get people to have the same view, so yeah, there?s going to be an argument. Sure, if there wouldn?t be any of that, the discussion can be both educational and promote intellectual growth, but I don?t think that?ll happen. Yes, school is for education, but you also have classes, you can?t have a discussion about religion in a math class, or English class. Maybe in science if you?re discussing the whole evolution thing, maybe in history if you?re discussing religion?s involvement in history, but other than that, no, you can?t really leave with anything valuable for the class. If you want to talk about religion, and discuss it, wait till Sunday and go to church, or heck just get on the internet and do what I?m doing right now. Eh, well that?s what I have to say, sort of. I just hope it won?t come off the wrong way?..maybe my hopes are a little high. -
I personally think a game's appeal come's partly from the so called fun factor, but also the ability to satisfy the player. Have you ever felt the satisfaction of beating a very difficult game, or knowing that you're better than all of your buddies? Well, if you have then you know it's a good feeling, a very good feeling. There are the games people can just pick up and play, those are the fun games, but the real good ones can give you that certain satisfaction, like halo or super smash brothers. Another thing is the ablity for a person to feal emotion while playing a good game, or watching a good movie. When you see those ninjas pull off those awesome moves, and it goes into slow motion, you just think to yourself, damn, i wish i could do that, that'd be so cool! Yeh, well there's that emotion i was talking about. Or it could be from playing a good rpg, that'll defianately get you feeling, especially if your character goes through some serious pain, or even dies. And then there's this one other thing...people like to win, there's no denying it, we just can't get enough of it. For a lot of people winning and losing has a direct effect on how much fun they have. Just watch a little kid play a game and win, they go crazy, but then if you beat them they pout and get all sad. It's not this way for everybody but it is for most. I personally love rubbing it in when i win, it feels good! And yeah, i do know what you're talking about, i often do play through games simply to beat them, instead of having fun. The first thing that comes to mind for me is Ninja Gaiden, i don't know why, it just does. I personally think it's a great game, but i didn't have a lot of fun playing it, i just really wanted to beat it, so i kept on playing until i did. I have the most fun with multiplayer games, mainly halo and super smash brothers for me. God i love getting together with friends and just beating it out with each other, good times good times.....

Okay, everybody keeps saying tabs are bad, well i'm still a beginner in the art of the guitar, and i know some notes but i mostly play from tabs. Somebody please tell me why tabs are so bad, instead of just saying they are bad, and please give me a link to a good site for chords and stuff. Oh, and what's notation?

Two Christmas's ago i was reading the new edition of Game Informer and the main story was this new game called Fable (previously called Project Ego). At the time i was reading this i didn't own an xbox, and i wasn't planning on getting one. After finishing reading it was amazed. I was so excited about the game that i actually decided to get an xbox for christmas that year. Well 2 years later the game finally comes out, and i don't know rather i want to spend $50 on it. I'm only 16 and i don't have a job, so $50 is a good chunk of money. So anyways i wanna hear what you guys have to say about this game. Is it worth it? Should i get it? Tell me some interesting things you guys have done in it. What's your character like? All that good stuff, but please don't ruin the story line for us. Merged the threads. - Shinmaru
...*cough cough*..well...*hack*...um...*gasp--wheeze*...I just wanted to say *grates throat and finally clears it*... Excuse me for rudely clearing my throat in absolute disbelief of your blatant egomaniacal statements of your fantastical abilities. But since you obviously expect people to disbelieve and state very clear facts to disprove you, then...what was the point of telling us about it? Anyway when you "finally" reach that kind of "level" (I'm getting a strange feeling I'm reading about a DBZ fanfic) and can prove your fantastical powers I say Wrist Cutter all the way!!
That's pretty funny, but seriously the guy needs to say something in his defense now...

My favorite boss fight ever is Ganondorf from The Legend of Zelda: the Ocarina of Time. God it was so awesome. You guys know what i'm talking about right? *drool* wish i could go back and experience it all for the first time again *sigh*

I'm an open minded person, who believes what he sees, and questions what he doesn't, so i'm gonna question you. I kinda doubt that kinda stuff exists...although i also believe it very well could exist, i have a friend that did that kinda stuff for a little while, he kept saying stuff about it, but i never saw any proof. Anyways whip out that webcam, or digital camera, or something and prove it to us.....but then again i suppose it'd be easy to fake it, but let's hope you don't sink to that level, not that you'd need to. Also, you seem overly proud in yourself, which i find very foolish. Even if you do have this kinda power, you shouldn't flaunt it around like some new piece of jewelry, or material possesion. Proof is worth a lot to a person like me....faith is hard for me to come by, which some would find quite sad, so prove it.
