Ami groaned as she uplifting the heavy packages that were covered with dustbunnies and other little suprises. Her grandmother insisted that she needn't clean out the old attic but she felt it was the least she could do for someone who had let her in when no one else would. Anger filled her heart when the thought of her father reached her mind but she brushed it away as soon as the old woman opened the door. "Ami dear is everything alright?" her grandmother asked with a look of concern on her face. Ami just smiled and exclaimed softly "Yes. Please do not worry about me for you have done so much for me enough" ushering the old woman out of the dusty room. She was a sick woman liable to die soon and she would not have her spend her last days helping someone clean up a dusty attic. She scrounged around through a box of photo albums when she came upon a picture of her mother and father on their wedding day and scoffed. She had never seen them together before in her life but she did not care to know more and quickly dispatched it into the corner of the room. Her hands fell upon a picture of her mother and her younger brother, Darren when he was a baby and she felt a sense of protectiveness arouse within her. He was all by himself and she had not heard from him within a month because phone calls were expensive. Just that second the phone call rang and her grandmother gave a yell. That could only mean that it was her father trying to weseal his way into getting into her paychecks or it was her brother Darren. She dashed for the phone and muffled into the telephone a raspy "Hello?" only to discover it was her landlord claiming she had left a carton of spilled milk on her kitchen floor and the landlord's complaints about how the apartment should be kept clean. After her conversation with the landlord, Ami felt exhausted from work and cleaning out the attic. She bid her grandmother goodbye and headed off to her apartment. "Besides.." she thought, "I still have to meet those people at the shrine.." a grin had formed on her face. Lady Sin was a way she could escape, to be someone different, and she could enter a world in which everyone knew her face but would not seek her. For most even feared her name.

OOC: Sorry I took so long to post, just letting you know I will be using my Schimitar for this match instead of my weapon Barkota (Which I really couldn't wait to use but I thought the schimitar would be better sword vs. sword you know). BTW, ULX don't worry about it. I'm still trying to think up great things to use with my schimitar so that is why this post is so short, bland, and doesn't cover much, sorry! I just wanted to start the battle..so um let's begin! Ruby jumped back just in time before Sansosuke could take a slice at her upper neck. She groaned, "Great I'm dealing with a wacko here. He talks like he wants to make friends and then slices at me a second later. Classic. And here I thought I was going to deal with some pushover..." Ruby sighed thinking to herself, this was not going to be easy especially since she had not chosen Barkota to be her weapon nevertheless she was purely confident in her fighting abilities. "Alright. Let's do this then... Ol' Crazy Sansosuke wasn't it?" Ruby taunted to her opponent as she tried to bring about his temper for she knew it could work to her advantage. "Don't be a fool!" Sansosuke shouted but his eyes remained eerily clam as he spoke and lunged at her suddenly making her trip on her feet a few paces back. Beads of sweat dripped down from Ruby's forehead as she concentrated on blocking her opponents attacks which were moving swiftly as a snake would on a harmless rabbit. She needed to change the path they were moving in otherwise she would fall off the ledge of the arena and began to scan for an escape when she heard a scowl. "If your going to make this so easy for me..then why don't you just die already? This is no fun at all!" exclaimed an irritated Sansosuke who seemed to be twitching uncontrollable. Ruby had already slipped out of his reach and ran back to the center of the arena. She had a few cuts on her hands but nothing major that would weaken her strength. She laughed at her self as amusement settled in and grinned pointing her schimitar at her opponent. "Oh believe me...It has only just begun.." Sansosuke looked confused but at the same time a devilish glow formed into his eyes that would make anyone feel as if they were being enloped and were lost into a great black pit of eternity.
Yes I am just wondering, if there was a limit to how long you would wait till you would disqualify someone who hasnt posted...I mean I posted a wile ago and no offence to Pumpkin whatsoever...Its just that I am getting quite bored waiting for the post.[/SIZE']
I'll try and have the post up by tonight or this morning. I'm really sorry for making you wait Sand Dragon. I actually had it all written up when my computer decided to crash because of a virus and I lost everything. I've been having some serious connection problems as well. Yet again, I'm really sorry for the troubles.

I always thought like Panda and thought that OB marriages were just all in good fun except for of course Imi & ULX's case I suppose. I don't really think I'd be seeking a relationship with someone from OB as that seems kind of strange to me, but I do know I have made some friends over time here. And yes it's been awhile since I've visited OB since I happen to be so busy with college right now. I've lost contact with those people but they know who they are. I hope to be coming here more often soon. I still haven't found anyone on OB that I really bond with yet unlike I have on many other forums but who knows? It might just happen. All in all, I think most OB marriages are just a fun thing. By the way, ThoraxtheImpaler even though I haven't been here too long, I remember you as That One Odd Dude in one RPG I was in. Just thought I'd point that out.

Oh boy, have I been stereotyped? Well...yes..lately I have had to deal with this a lot despite I don't label people. Although I have to admit, I've never thought myself being stereotypical either. But I guess people can come up with something out of nothing. Here's just a list of a few things over time that people have come to assume about me... Dumb Blonde Just to state, I was not a blonde, I had blonde HIGHLIGHTS. I like dumb blonde jokes just as good as the next person but when someone automatically assumes that I will have no say in an assignment or group project because I'm too "ditzy" or "stupid" to get it, it really ticked me off. Luckily, I'm a dark brunette now, but dealing with the stupidity of people and the constant guys getting the image that I'm "easy" (and no ladies, I'm not joking here) to persuade to do things. Goody Goody There's a certain image that goes with this, always gets good grades, never does anything bad, and to some people thinks of themselves as higher then everyone. This is the one that I don't think will ever go away since everyone assumes that of me since 1) I can be shy around new people 2) I don't do drugs 3) I don't have mad drunken sex with people I don't know 4) I have self-respect (meaning you will rarely see me flash someone). I do drink and party ever once in awhile whether they like to believe it or not, I don't even get that good of grades and I'm not the most innocent person in the world. Rich Snob People assumed this of me when in highschool my sophomore year. I guess people thought I was a snob since I was shy and didn't really talk. I went to a highschool where there was really poor people, not many people could even afford to buy school lunches majority of the time and were on food stamps. So when my mother would pick me up in her BMW, it was really hard to convince people that I wasn't rich and didn't own a big house. I never disliked anyone because of their money ever. I guess it's funny that I've been viewed as of smart, innocent and dumb before but never the bad girl except in elementary school. Stereotypes are pointless and the people that actually assume something about someone based on their hair color, race, nationality etc. might actually be missing out on meeting a great person. What is the hardest thing you've had to do emotionally?
Pumpkin replied to a topic in General Discussion
I think mine was when my dad was dying in the hospital. It was hard emotionally to stay in the room with him. He had a brain tumor and was highly medicated. the doctors said that he wouldn't know we were in there, buit i still felt awful when I had to leave the room.I didn't know he very well-but he was my dad and I was watching him slip away. He died two days later.
I'm sorry that you had to go through that, I'm sure it must have been tough to deal with. I think the most emotional thing that I've had to do was to listen when my mother's friend and sister told me that my brother in law had just died that night and he wasn't ever coming back. He died in a motorcylce accident this year just after having lunch with my dad. The funny thing is I had just talked to him the week before. This was the first death where I lost someone that I was close to and that affected my family so much. My sister now has to raise her 2 1/2 year old son all by herself at the age of 30. Life can be really unfair. -
What's the reason in trying, if you don't have any chances...
Pumpkin replied to a topic in General Discussion
So there you have it. And girls, internet guys usually turn out to be total losers and jerkfaces. Not worth it.
Not all I would like to think. But sadly, I can't back up this statement because my x-boyfriend that I met online was a total loser and a waste of time lol. I think an online relationship might be able to work only if your 18 or over, have a license, and live fairly close to eachother. Otherwise, well, it might just be a waste of time but it's your decision to make. As for a long distance relationship, they can work but it depends on how long you have to wait to be together again and how often you see eachother. I recently knew a guy who had a long distance relationship after his girlfriend moved to Arizona and ended up cheating on her. It's a risky deal because you never really know what they could be up too, but then again thats what trust was made for right? It takes a lot of willpower and strength to keep up a long distance relationship but it can be done. I just warn those that are about to get into one to think about the consequences and if they think they can handle the pressure. -
Yeah man...college...it's a good kind of different. A bit tougher, and you do still get people who seem to not want to be in class...usually because it's an required general education...*Shakes fist at Marcoeconomics!
I agree curse general education classes. lol. As for me, I'm a freshman in College right now and this is my first semester. I don't go to a University but a community college that's suppose to be the best in California. It's hard but only if you don't pay attention in class and don't do your work and fall behind. I use to stress about what I wanted to do because my father kept pressuring me to "make up my mind" about what career I wanted to pursue. One word of advice, don't listen to what others tell you. The right decision comes in time. The beginning of the semester, I overloaded myself with too much to do and too many classes so that I could transfer early to a University. It's definately not worth it to worry because the more you do that, the more your just going to burn out. I had to drop some of my classes because I was so stressed out. Another bit of advice is to take some classes outside GE and start to get an idea of what you like to do. I decided on an English Major but that could change anytime. Just know that MAJORITY of people in college, change their majors atleast once. For the most part, I like it a lot better then Highschool. I have to admit though, I like picking the higher classes because there are more older and mature people. For some reason, I can't stand some of the kids that just get out of highschool because they think they are really mature when their not. But I guess that's just me. Don't worry about it, it'll be fine. I know exactly what your feeling. Besides if you don't want to go to college, that would be fine also. Besides, I'd just like to point it out there that college is NOT for everyone and your not a loser if you don't go.

Real World Statistics Name: Ami Vegvari Gender: Female Age: 18 Personality: Ami isn't anti-social but she isn't the type to first strike a conversation. She's always there to give advice and listen and loves to talk, however, not many people get to see this side of her for she is very shy and timid. Once you get her to open up to you though, you would find out that she is a very loyal and honest person. She's creative and a great artist and also loves to dance. She's a little protective about getting her feelings hurt although most the time she does not show any emotion, she is in fact extremely emotional. She's very mature for her age, infact you would expect her to be in her early 30's if she didn't look so young. Physical Description: Ami has long dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. She usually keeps it up into a ponytail which clashes against her white skin. Her lips are the color of coral, and she is almost always wearing make up on her face. She is about 5'5" and has a slim figure. Background: Ami grew up in a rural area in Montana with only her mother until a year ago she got into a car accident and was killed. Her parents divorced years ago, and her father had re-married. He claimed he could take the kids into custody so Ami and her younger brother Darren were seperated. Darren, age 14, was sent to live with some relatives in Arizona and Ami was to be sent to her grandmothers house in Hungary, Europe. Ami lived a whole year in Europe trying to support herself until she finally got an apartment of her own. She has been working two jobs to help support her younger brother through school in Arizona and has had little time for a social life. However, one day, Ami overheard her neighbor talking about an online videogame. She had always been curious for she never had videogames in Montana and had simply lived on a farm most of her life. Ami saved up what little money she had and ended up buying the game "Third Edge". She talked to her brother Darren and promised that they would play together, this way she could actually be with the only family she had left. Extra Info: to be continued...
Cambrian_Explosion - That is the intent, yes. Judging should be based primarily on the quality of the writing, rather than the combat or characters. And sorry I haven't posted your character up in the bracket yet. My apologies for the delay. Another note - Why is no one posting? Is it because you haven't noticed the threads are up, or simply lack of interest? Should I send out PMs to the members about to enter combat? Should I give up entirely on the project? Or am I just being too impatient? I'd rather like to know what's going on... For the record, two more fights are up and (not) running, and one is still not being posted in. -ULX
I didn't even realize that it was up in the Adventure Square, I'm sorry! lol I must be as blind as a bat seriously. I'm kind of confused about being a judge though so we base it on the quality of writing and simply vote? I'm kind of lost on that part. Don't give up on this, I just suggest you send a PM to people who are entering combat. That would probably help.

Mog: Welcome Kupo! And what might be your name be? Lucia: My name is Lucia the demigoddess of Althena. Mog: Sooooo..kupo! Did you bring any pictures with you? Lucia: Yes. [ Hands over one of the pictures ] Oh and there is one other too. [ Hands over the second photo ] Mog: *sarcastic* Talkative person arn't you kupo? Lucia: I'm told I lack human emotion and thoughts..but I don't see the need for it for all I'm looking for is Althena. We must find her! *dazed glare* Not to mention I lack common sense, whatever that is. Mog: Strange...kupo...anyways okay on to the next question then. *clears throat* What game do you come from? Lucia: Lunar 2: Eternal Blue which is much better then the first one if I do say so myself. Mog: Isn't that the RPG where you must save the planet The Blue Star and Lunar from the god of evil? Yikes kupo! Sounds scary. Lucia: *cocks head slightly* Yes? kupo? I have no idea why you say that ..but I like it. Kupo Kupo Kupo Kupo! Mog: Well...do you have any special talents you could tell me about? Kupo? Lucia: If you don't think I have talent then why I am a goddess of Althena? That's an insulting comment. I can do just about anything... Mog:Okay kupo sorry! if your so powerful and can just do about anything then why did you want to sign up for OB survivor kupo? Lucia: Because I want to learn human emotions and relate to people. I've never really got to do that, and especially try human food and see how they interact with one another. Plus there is a chance of running into Althena. I've never had what humans call "fun" it would be very interesting. Especially if there is fish. I love fish. Mog: Kupo! Yes! Thank you it was nice talking with you but this interview has finally come to an end. Hope to see you later kupo! *runs out of sight* Lucia: Thank you. I look forward to seeing you again. Bye kupo! *waves happily*

I'm 1/2 hungarian. I don't know much about my family history, infact I don't know how to find out more about it (Ancestry.com doesn't seem to work for me). I do know that my mother and grandmother were born in Hungary and I have a lot of relatives there even though I've never been to that country. It's funny to think of me being half european even now. My grandmother was in World War II and actually saw Hitler with her own eyes and often hid jews in her house. I don't know if I could consider her an ancestor, since she's still alive today lol. But she did have to climb over the mountains in Austria (if you have watched Sound of Music you know what mountains I'm talking about) with my mother on her back. Her first baby died of a cold since back in the day the war consumed a lot of money and left people poor and they couldn't afford medicine. A bomb even hit her house and she almost died being trapped in the debris. She also had to live with German soldiers in her house when they took over (its right next to Germany so obviously they were one of the first to be taken over). My dad side I don't really know much about except for that my family provided shovels and other supplies for people in the gold rush and got rich off of that and have lived in California for years. Theres actually a book about one of my ancestors or so I heard who struck it rich that way, and supposedly my family is mentioned. But I have yet to see it.

What is the most embarassing thing that has happened to you?
Pumpkin replied to a topic in General Discussion
Me? Have an embarrassing moment? Well okay so I have one... When I was in 7th grade, the whole school ate lunch in the cafateria because it was pouring rain outside and usually they serve us the school lunch in there. Well, I got up to go I think get some more food or throw something away when I slipped because my shoelaces were untied and ending up rolling down 5 sets of bleachers. I ended up landing flat on my face but I quickly got up hoping no one saw. Luckily, none of my friends saw but all the 8th graders boys were laughing at me. One even got up and pointed at me. The girls however were like are you okay? Did you get hurt? At the time it was really awful but now I just laugh about it. Besides I was yesterday's news because right after one of my friends fell into a garbage can. Although that one guy that pointed at me always remembered...and everytime he saw me he would burst out laughing. Most of my friends would ask me what he was laughing at...and I would just shrug and say who knows? They just thought he was crazy. -
I went to both an elementary and middle school where uniforms were required, and they did nothing to help bring down the percentage of teasing (which is one of the main reasons why uniforms were implemented in my school, though I don't know if that holds true for other places.)
I had to wear uniforms only once in my years of schooling and that was in elementary school. Uniforms solve nothing and don't erase any cliques there will always be them in highschools and middleschools. There will always be someone who breaks the rules and defies authority *cough* infact since I was a tomboy when I was younger, I refused to wear the plaid skirts we had to wear and instead wore the boy shorts. Eventually I made the teacher's accept it once I got the whole class to do the same thing. Once I got to a public school, I noticed I had much more freedom of choice. It helped me be independent because the style of clothing you choose sets you apart from people. You have to admit, the clothes you wear, do send a message out to people. Part of first impressions are by the clothes that you are wearing because that is an expression of yourself. I hope that makes sense and this has proved that Uniforms do not only not help the school but also take away a person's individuality.

I'm not going to critize much because I understand that this picture is not done. Obviously you used photoshop but did you use color pencils with this? Or pastels? It really looks like you used oil pastels and has a kind of unique look to it that I haven't really seen it most sketches. The coloring is fantastic and the thing that stands out is her eyes. It seems like the colors are blended together but I can't help but love it. Only thing is wasn't Rikku's hair in a bandana and in braids in the back as well? I'm not sure myself. For the most part you've got the bikini part down as her body figure looks really great. Only thing that I'm not sure about is the hair and the braids, some of the beads look a bit large for her hair. It's a wonderful piece of artwork and I hope to see more of your drawings in the future! Keep them coming and great job!

Usually I went by the name Purplefire since thats usually what my screenname or what I was famously known as or as the "evil guinea pig scientist" (dum dum dum). Don't ask. But when I came to Otakuboards, I wanted a new start and a new name. I guess I came about Pumpkin the same way Panda did, as a nickname. "Pumpkin" is usually a term that old ladies call me in the street and also that I'm adorable like I'm 5 still. Why I would choose this? Who knows? maybe 'cause I'm a crazy girl who likes churros. It was just a change is all. So far, it seems that everyone on here has changed their username atleast once. I'm thinking about changing mine to something in hungarian....to be continued.
Saw II (as of Friday)
Haha, saw that on saturday. It was actually pretty good even though I was afraid I might have nightmares for a few days, the plot was catchy. My favorite type of movies would have to be between comedies (I love to laugh) and fantasy/action movies. I prefer action over horror, since I'm a major whimp when it comes to anything involving blood or needles. I'm getting better though. I also love inspirational or movies based on true stories. I couldn't pick a favorite movie because I have one for each genre I like. That's pretty much it. Oh and BTW, if you have needlephobia, I don't recommend you watch Saw II.

What would you like to see in a Magazine?
Pumpkin replied to demonchild781's topic in General Discussion
First of all, who is the magazine going to be distributed too? I know you said to women and men but is this for your highschool? College? or just for anyone in town to read? It takes a lot to have a zine of some sort especially if its for free and if you don't have someone to help you with the design it'll be tough. The appearance is sadly pretty important. But anyways... I think the Advice collum is a great idea. Other ideas I might add would be maybe you could write about events and in general just write about fun and exciting things happening around you. Contests and things that will involve the community will obviously attract people, maybe a raffle of some sort. Also I like Panda's idea, reading about stupid people is fun lol. I also recommend maybe having members submit their articles for a way for people to contribute somehow, that would be fun to have. Hope that helped some. And good luck with your magazine! -
I feel bad for requesting for a new banner/avatar already but I've been really excited about this new movie coming out since I read the book to it years ago. It's really one of my favorite books of all time. If anyone could do me the favor of making a banner for me that says "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and with "Pumpkin" on the avatar it would be much appreciated. I love my current banner but I'd like this one a tad bit longer perhaps. Image Click Thank you!

I live in Northern California, Bay Area. It's supposedly a desirable place to live because our main city is San Francisco (I live like 45 mins away from it) but I live in Sonoma County where everyone says "Hella" and thinks its cool because people from the bay area created it. But honestly it's not that bad....especially for the green day fans.

Jokes - You got any you want to share?
Pumpkin replied to Shadow Blade's topic in General Discussion
I know these jokes are pretty lame but I just had to submit them haha.
Ancient Chinese Torture A young man was lost wandering in a forest, when he came upon a small house. He knocked on the door and was greeted by an ancient Chinese man with a long, grey beard. "I'm lost," said the man. "Can you put me up for the night?" "Certainly," the Chinese man said, "but on one condition. If you so much as lay a finger on my daughter, I will inflict upon you the three worst Chinese tortures known to man." "Ok," said the man, thinking that the daughter must be pretty old as well, and entered the house. Before dinner, the daughter came down the stairs. She was young, beautiful, and had a fantastic figure. She was obviously attracted to the young man since she couldn't keep her eyes off him during the meal. Remembering the old man's warning, he ignored her and went up to bed alone. But during he night, he could bear it no longer, and sneaked into her room for a night of passion. He was careful to keep everything quiet so the old man wouldn't hear. Near dawn he crept back to his room, exhausted, but happy. He woke to feel a pressure on his chest. Opening his eyes he saw a large rock on his chest with a note on it that read, "Chinese Torture 1: Large rock on chest." "Well, that's pretty crappy," he thought. "If that's the best the old man can do then I don't have much to worry about." He picked the boulder up, walked over to the window and threw the boulder out. As he did so he noticed another note on it that read: "Chinese Torture 2: Rock tied to left testicle." In a panic he glanced down and saw the rope that was already getting close to the end. Figuring that a few broken bones was better than castration, he jumped out of the window after the boulder. As he plummeted downward he saw a large sign on the ground that read, "Chinese Torture 3: Right testicle tied to bedpost."
Owch that's gotta hurt...
Little Leprechaun? A leprechaun walks into a bar, and he see's a sign that says: "Win a pot of gold if you can make the donkey laugh." The leprechaun decided to go for it, and he succeed in making the donkey laugh. So he goes to the bartender and asks for his pot of gold. The bartender says, "Ok, but first you have to tell us how you did it." The leprechaun says, "I can't tell you, it's a leprechaun secret." So the bartender says, "Then I can't give you the pot of gold." The leprechaun gets very angry and walks off. He comes back the next day and sees a sign that says: "Win a pot of gold if you can make the donkey cry." So he trys it, and he makes the donkey cry. He goes up to the bartender and asks for his pot of gold. But the bar attendant tells him, "First you have to tell me how you did it. So the leprechaun says, "Alright, yesterday I told him I told him that I have a bigger penis then him, and today I showed him."
Sorry if the dirty joke offended anyone. XD I thought it was pretty funny atleast.
A Mall Order An Amish woman and her son are walking through a mall for the first time, totally stunned by everything they see. They are especially fascinated by two silver walls which slide together and then apart. They both walk up closer to the sliding silver walls. They see a fat, little old man waddle inside and watch as the doors close behind her. The mother and son can't believe their eyes when minutes later, the silver doors open and a tall, well-built stud strides out. The mother then turns to the son and says, "Son, go and get your father."
-
It seems we have some Sociologists here, so I might as well go in more depth. In class, we just finished reading an article titled "Cultural dopes and she-devils" which is concerned with plastic surgery, calling it an 'idealogical dilemma'. The article is a very interesting Geertzian analysis of how women come to see themselves as 'not normal', and make themselves the 'exception', justifying their decision to alter their image at great pain to their body and self. Also, you may find the videos/articles called 'killing us softly' interesting in the construction of feminine beauty through advertising. I would be happy to discuss your understanding of femininity (or masculinity) based on what you have studied in Sociology class.
By Jean Killbourne I presume right? Yeah I've seen that film....
I see women as vulnerable because American society forces them to be vulnerable.
And men arn't vulnerable to scrutiny right? Just the women? I suggest you watch the documentary film "Tough Guise" just to see that men have an image of masculinity. Violence is considered the normal for guys, it's almost expected. If your not tough or violent apparently you get called a "***" or "not a real man". Men have to live up to the image of masculinity just like women have to live up to the image of beauty. (although its not as bad as women it's still an issue)
And seriously, quit that "fight for life" thing, people! Life isn't a videogame, no random man (or a woman) is going to come around the corner and just beat you up for no reason in the brought daylight! Okay, it could[/I'] happen, but what are the odds, honestly?
Try one out of a million. I agree.
Or you could just get them to watch Revolutionary Girl Utena[/url'].
Utena saves a girl named Anthy..not a boy...if I remember correctly? It's been a while since I've seen it. I get that you were trying to point out that she's masculine and feminine.

Wow, I've seen this thread here acouple of times. But anyways, I came to OB for the same reason Gentle and Kayutori did. There was too much n00bish talk going on at AnimeOnline and later Minitokyo that I left both eventually. AO had a meltdown and the owner couldn't afford the site because it was becoming too big and when I went back it was nothing but spam. MT is more for people with artistic talent with creating wallpapers (seriously lacking skill there) and the forum consists of the same topic showing up atleast once a day. OB has better post quality and even though at first I thought there just wasn't very many members (which obviously isn't true) there is less posting then other forums because it isn't spam. Which is a good thing. I love how everything is so organized and I love the Adventure Square. I hadn't RP'd since I was 13 which were in chatrooms and this led me into a whole different world and got me into writing again. BTW, on a last note even though I was more of a neopets fan (this was when I was like 12) I had been on Gaia before and I found it boring just to make money to buy your avatar an outfit. Atleast with Neopets you could feed your pets.
have any of you guys ever find one of those made in china stickers stuck on you and you don't know where it came from?
Actually, I've sat on one of those stickers before. It's annoying especially those stickers that come on bananas always end up sticking on me too. They come out of nowhere. The anwser? China is plotting to take over the world with their stickers. Imagine that. Anyways...ahem...my question is...who came up with the name Banana? and why is a Banana called a Banana?

My dream job for right now would definately have to be an author. In order to get there though, I'm majoring in English and I think I'm going to be a book editor until I can get to the point where I think I'll be confident enough to be one. Of course thats not the only job that I want to do, if anything else, I'll be a part-time author and teacher. It's kind of simple and not exciting to most, but otherwise I'd rather do something involving hollywood like doing screenwriting for a movie.
