Anyhow, it's been in recent conflict that WOW's reign will come to an end with either AOC or WAR, however it could just be a flop like when VG was set to come out. So my question to you all is, which are you most looking forward to [url=http://www.ageofconan.com/]Age of Conan[/url] or [url=http://www.warhammeronline.com/]Warhammer Online[/url]? Which do you think will be the biggest competition? Do you think WOW will end as the top mmo anytime soon? What are you looking most forward to trying in either game? Honestly, I was really hoping for AOC simply because it puts a new twist on mmo's with things such as mounted combat and an escape from the basic fantasy-genre mmo. WAR resembles WOW too much, however I do think because of that reason that all WOW fans are just going to march over to WAR because of the similarities. I also read on some forums that most think AOC is not ready to be released, and yet I think that with a coming expansion (to input player housing into player cities, an attribute I love while playing SWG) that it could be a very unique game. Share your thoughts.[/size][/color][/font]

When thats not distracting me, probably looking at Otaku Lounge. I rarely reply due to excessive laziness or if a thread interest me. And then probably heard over to the Arcade, probably for the same reason Lrb8 does for the simple fact that I was a mod way back when Hardwired and the PC/MAC lounge existed. I'd love to see more activity in there like the good ol' days, ahh...I hope to post more in there soon enough! Other then that, I'll check out the auditions and new rpgs that are up. And then I set out to conquer OB and it's many members and ship them off to a desolate island. Where I rule as Captain and everyone is a slave. [SIZE=1][color=#CC6633]Of course I would create an MMO! Duh. Anyone who knows me, knows this man [ Sorry total Friday quote here ]. Anyhow, I would definately create an MMO that was different from any fantasy or Sci-fi mmo ever made. It would have to have a great plot or something new brought to the table. I would create a game with not only the best pvp combat system ever, BUT integrate more of the community and socializing into the game. Nowadays, it seems like there are two games who have one of each of what I would like to see brought to an MMO. WOW did get a lot of things right such as creating a big vastless world, but atlast the community is weakened and most of the focus is again, on PVP and Quests. I would make a game that would have multitude of different quests such as ones for people who like to explore, fight, and socialize. Seriously, they need to mix it up a bit. If I had my own mmo, these are some things I would consider.. [list] [*][b]Mounted Combat[/b] : Like in AOC, there are multiple mounts. Mounts are generally just for transport but I think this brings a nice twist and makes mounts even more desirable in gameplay. [*][b]More Detailed Quests[/b] : Not Kill X Birds for Pete. In WOW, those get really old fast. Quests should be fun and not always too easy or too hard. [*][b]Player Cities[/b] : I love player cities. It should be zoned and not over-crowded like SWG was. [*][b]Ship PVP[/b] : POTBS has it? Why cant this be intrigated into the world? I think it would be awesome to have a player city by the sea that can be attacked from the ocean. Why not? [*][b]Player-Owned Housing[/b] : I love having an own house. This also creates a create atmosphere of RPing and builds the community. [*][b]Crafting Professions[/b] : More intricate crafting professions, and things such as traders. Besides the typical blacksmith. [*][b]Classes for Non-fighters[/b]: This sounds silly, but SWG pulled this off well with their classes of musician and dancer. They buffed people but it suited well for those not well-equipped for fighting. Not everyone is a fighter and it would be nice to have some 'normal' people walking about. It would make your skills seem more unique possibly. [/list] Basically more things for the Economy and Player society would be added. That's basically it. That and I don't believe in the ultimate goal of gaming to be "to get the best gear" but that could also be an option for someone else.[/size][/color]

[COLOR=#FF6633][Font=Tahoma]OMG, My grandma use to make the best goulash in the freakin world. She just passed away this January (sadest day ever, coolest grandma in the world), and most of my family has tried to replicate it but it's almost like no one can make it the way she did. I took it to my highschool once, and everyone didn't want to try it at first. Keep in Mind, it looks pretty gross, I'm not going to lie. I never wanted to eat it because of how it looked as a kid, it looked heavy with too much in it. Like a thick beef yucky stew. But when you eat it, it is the best thing ever. By a half an hour, the whole pot (which was made for like 20 people) was gone in class. It was the best tasting Hungarian Goulash. Pretty much everyone loved it. Especially me, because I only had it like twice a year if I was lucky. It's funny how something that doesn't look so great could taste so good. Sad thing is, I'll probably never be able to eat it again because no one in the family knows the recipe. Curse it all! Although I do know, that most of everything she made she used Paprika. That was like her secret ingredient. Good stuff. [/color][/font]

Sounds pretty neat, I wish I could afford to fly over there but alas I'm a starving college student that is broke. And I just came back from a long hiatus, after being the mod and being pretty active at one point due to Real life issues and things in the way. Now most of everyone that I talked to has either left or changed their name! I don't even know who anyone is anymore, 'cause it takes me awhile to figure who is who. Such as I had no idea [b]Rikku[/b] was [b]Keyblade Wielder[/b] and that [b]White[/b] is now [b]Lrb8[/b]. I thought about changing my name but, meh, pumpkin fits and its the name I've always gone by. Why change now? I know [b]Chabichou[/b] is still around and she has always had the same name and same banner. I can spot her anywhere lol. I've always loved the smiley cat thing. Thats about it. Otherwise everyone else looks new to me. People who are new become moderators, old people leave the mod team etc. Always changing. Anyways..back on topic... I definately miss Dragon Warrior (Gavin), since he left and we still talk occasionally on myspace and AIM and whatnot. However most people I've lost touch with and haven't really talked to in quite a while. I use to talk to multiple people, and be active here. SunfallE definately is awesome and should talk to me more because I am an awesome goddess and who wouldn't want to talk to me? She was technically the first person to greet me back when I came back to OB. Rach is pretty cool as well. Let's see, I miss Stuart's wierd humor and Kamuro (which I'm sure not many people remember) was one of the first people I conversed with on OB who is no longer here and needs to come back. Basically everyone that was here a year ago, needs to come back now. And then there are people that I admire and what not. Redemption is very talented with graphics/RPGS so does Retribution everything is all well-made. Shy, made up some fun things as event master, and definately Desbreko for making Kabuki Troupe even though it kinda died towards the end. It was nice to have another mod that was really into gaming, and I hope that there can be an online mmo community again sometime (although not necessarily a guild) Although next time Desbreko, level slower lol you are WAY too fast for this little pumpkin to keep up with everyone. I always get to like level 5 when everyone else reaches 50. Not fair. Otaku Boards is like a family, and Pumpkin is like the spoiled child that everyone hates to love

We didn't go out as in boyfriend and girlfriend but it was still fun. I've been dating my boyfriend since senior year so I don't know what its like to really "date" someone. But if I were to be single again, I think I would take things more slowly and probably date loads of people for fun. I think being picky isn't a bad thing, I am. But I'd rather be picky, then EASY. However I'm half-hungarian so I grew up eating stuff that most people wouldn't even think of such as hungarian beef goulash, beef stroganoff, califlower soup and this hungarian soup that is really good. Also, in Hungarian food, they use lots and lots of paprika. Good stuff. Califlower isn't something I've seen anyone eat as well. Goulash is awesome but I haven't had it in years. There is also this wierd thin pancake (not a crepe btw) that I use to eat but I forget what its called. Pincolash or something like that. So I guess that makes me somewhat european? It honestly doesn't bug me at all, and I only use it when I'm actually laughing or think something is funny. If it's not, well then you just get the "...." comment and silence. lol expresses a mediocre funny while LOL is a hardcore laugh. They all have their meanings. Personally lmao is my favorite.
