After finishing the demons, they saw a portal and got out of there... Keisha was shooken up by the news she got from Storm... it scared her... she didn't want to face it anymore... she was ashamed at what had happened... and it tortured her inside.... They got to the hideout, the entire way was in silence. She saw Angelus and Leon there waiting for them. Leon was the first to notice the tears in her eyes. "What's wrong??" he said looking at her. Storm stared at Keisha. "Do you wanna tell them, or do I?" "Do whatever you want." she said turning from the group. She went back to her room and sat down... did he actually know how much she was hurting from it all?? Storm had told them, and Leon was mad... not at Keisha, but at Storm. "And what, did you think telling that was a good idea?? She's hurting! Can't you see that??" "She needs to know what she's headed for." Storm said. "She needs a FRIEND you idiot!!" As they fought, Angelus grew tired of them and walked to where Keisha was. She was sitting on her bed, away from him, but somehow she knew he was there. "How does it feel?" she asked softly. "What?" he said looking at her. "To be ashamed... of the person you are? To... hate... yourself? How do you go on each day?" she asked looking at him. He could see the pain in her eyes... in the way she sat there... she was broken...

"That's him??" Kane whispered to Sam. He had no idea her love was with a dark angel. She nodded, "Yes Kane..." she smiled. "It's him." she walked over to Jun who was standing against a tree... she smiled. "You've done well Sam..." "I don't really deserve any praise, they're the ones who've mastered their own powers." she said... still smiling. "No... I mean for yourself... you're a lot stronger than before... I can feel it." he said. She stared at him... not knowing what to say. "Jun... why were you away for so long?" "A lot happened back then... more than I was ready to deal with. Osiris helped me deal with that new burden..." "I could have helped you too... God knows I wanted to..." He looked at her and was silent... he knew she wanted to... he knew. "I missed you so much Jun..." she said... tears in her eyes. She didn't think he would come back... and she still wasn't sure... if he came back for her... or because of the times they were in. So much needed to be done... would he leave her again? After everything was over? He looked at her... not knowing what to say. But he knew... she had been hurting ever since he left. She looked at him and tried to smile. "A day hasn't gone by... where I haven't thought about you..." she said. He still didn't respond. But he kept looking at her... so many feelings went through her... feelings she did not think she would ever be able to feel with him again. And now that he was here... she wasn't sure... if she hugged him, would he shake her off? If she kissed him... would he leave? Afraid of the outcomes she went next to him, and just sat down... watching as her students talked and practiced.

{FLASHBACK} She stared in his eyes and lost all consciousness. She lost all sense of awareness, and the only one she saw was him... it was as if the world around her died, and the only living being... was the being in front of her. She wanted to hold him... she wanted to love him. She wanted these things, but the only thing she could do... was wait. Wait for him to want her... she knew he did... he had showed her before, and quickly hid the feeling from her as it became evident to him. He was... afraid to show that feeling... to need her... to want her... for the rest of his life. She kissed him, as her connection with the earth allowed her to live in that moment. And then he left her... he left her... with nothing but a few memories... Kelthor had been right... he never did care for her... And now... she was faced with questions.... What was she to do? Was she to wait for him? With the little time they both had in life? Life was truly too short for such waits.... Was she to hope... he would finally see and come back for her? To hope that he would... show her something? And was she to wait, until she clung to the last strings of her life, only to be left with nothing? She couldn't imagine such a horrible life for herself... she loved him... but was her love worth dying alone over? He left her, without leaving a single feeling for her to hold onto. Was waiting worth it? Even if it truly wasn't... she couldn't leave him... she cared about him too much to just get up and leave.... But... he left her. He left her with nothing... but memories... dreams that never existed in the real world. Only in her mind. With the times as they were... their circumstances, everything pointed them away from each other... it was enough to make her cry when no one else was watching... it was enough for her to tear apart inside... when she was alone... and no one could notice. I can't give you what you want... Those words... rang in her ears. She hated those words... how was he to know what she wanted? How could he say he couldn't... when he didn't even know? She sat there amongst her sleeping students, remembering such a time... a time where she was much like them... she had been like Jack.... spiteful, and hesitant with working in groups. Kala... and her intimidation... her... young spirit and timid nature... and like Kane... where she constantly carried her burden alone... not... asking for assistance, in fear of bringing others down with her... She stared at the wall... she remembered... his face... so sad... and so troubled.... she remembered... how she kissed him... and gave him the chance to kill her. But he did not... more than likely, because he had no reason... not because he cared.... or did he? And he just hid his feelings from her? "Sam?" Kane asked looking at her. She turned around abruptly, surprised he was up. "Yes Kane?" she asked, smiling a little. He could see her tears. "Sam? You look... sad... are you okay?" he asked. She wiped the tears from her eyes and laid against the stone wall. "No... but... I'm use to it, Kane..." she said as she closed her eyes. "What's wrong?" he asked looking at her. She opened an eye and smiled. "Some wounds of war, Kane... run deeper than any wound that a blade could leave... remember that..." "Sam... you can tell me..." he said staring at her. She smiled... he was a good friend... "There's just so much that I wouldn't know where to start..." she said, pulling her knees to her, and wrapping her arms around them. "Who was he?" he asked. She looked at him. "What?" "The man in your life... who was he?" he asked. She was surprised... at how perceptive he was. "A dear friend... and a wonderful ally..." she said smiling. "Where is he?" he asked. She stared in his eyes... it was so hard talking about it. "He's around... somewhere... he left shortly after the first war." she said. "How many... were there?" he asked. "Four... there were five... but one died in the beginning of our assembling. The other two... died... because of me. I rushed to save one... and left two behind." she said. "Was that him? Did you save your friend?" Tears rolled freely from her cheeks. "Yes... yes.. he was saved... but not because of me...." He didn't understand... she knew this, but she couldn't go in detail. He scooted over to her and held her hand... "You don't have to tell me Sam... it's alright." he said as he wrapped an arm around her. She cried... she missed him... she missed him, more than he knew... 5 years had passed, and not one day went by where she didn't think about him... did he ever think about her? Does he even remember her? "What was his name?" he asked. She smiled. "Jun.... his name.... is Jun...." she said as she wept silently... until she fell asleep. And her dreams... gave her no comfort....

Jessica looked through her books... she was floored with all the information she found... he mentioned Auran... it wasn't just a name... it was a place. She read through her father's books, and replaced all the words with a locational meaning... she couldn't believe it... Auran was a capital... of Lire. She stared out the window. He was going to Auran... where in the hell was that? The towns... there was no place around here called Auran... unless he meant the deserts. But there was no shelter in the sands. She closed her eyes... it was 2 o clock in the morning... she laid on her bed and stared at the ceiling. Who was he? Was he... from that place? And who was Ciress? Was she truly the evil the writings speak of? Was she trying to bring destruction to the world? Was she really the one who was destined to stop her? So many stories... and she remembered the one about the King.... Thor Ratharn... a loving King... who led his people to a prosperous age... he had one son... who was swallowed by the sands, but destined to appear. Was that him?? She got up again and read through all her journals. Father.... what were you keeping from us? A man... cloaked in black appeared in front of her. She fell off her chair in fright. "Do not be alarmed child... I come in behalf of the one I love..." he said kindly. She stood up and looked at him... his face partially covered. "Who are you?" she asked. "Do not be decieved... I am already dead... but I come... as a reminder to the one I love..." "Who is that? Who are you??" she said. She could see him smile. "I am... King Thor Ratharn.... Razel's... father... you must help him..." he said gravely. "That's impossible... you died... 3000 years ago... Razel barely is in his 20's!!" she said... was this a sick joke? "This is no joke child... I am here... and I am not here... you need to find the ones who hold those stones..." he said. She walked over to him and he placed his hand on her shoulder... she felt nothing... his hand... wasn't really there. "I don't understand..." she said staring at him. "My son is in grave danger... if he is corrupted by Ciress... the world will never be the same again. You... are the only one who can save him." "I barely know him..." she said softly. She wasn't understanding any of this. "My son... has been decieved all his life. He is... the heir to Auran... The Nation of Lire... Ciress is trying to Reborn the nation of old... and you cannot allow her to let that happen." "What do I do?" she said staring at him. He pulled back his cloak and he looked... just like Razel... he wasn't ghostly looking... he looked real now. She stared at him... her father had been right all this time. "Tell my son... that I love him... and that I hope to see his days reborn again..." he said. She could see tears in his eyes........ TEARS... "I will..." she said. He composed himself. "Save him child... don't let him fall..." he said as he disappeared. "BUT HOW DO I FIND HIM??? HOW DO I FIND THE HOLDERS OF THE JIRAX???" she screamed after him. She fell to the floor... Razel... was an ancient heir to the throne of Egypt... She got up and equipped her weapons... she needed to find these ones... but how? Her pendant had four holes in them... she lifted it up... and one of the stones lit up and a soft chime came from it... one of the holders... were very close. ******** OOC: Alright, here's the plan... looks as if things are getting slow where things are supposed to get going. So I'm changing a few things. Jessica will meet with the Jirax holders, but as they go to the temple, they are all captured. I will send you changes, and you can ask or make suggestions since this is a new twist in underground. I want everyone to feel involved, so let's get things moving quickly. Long posts if necessary to fit everything in. Your assassins have been sent out. Nobody will meet Razel though until later... Heero is still not back yet. :) I will post sometime later tonight or tomorrow, depending on when everyone is aware of this notice. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MAKE SUGGESTIONS IN UNDERGROUND. I will keep the original floor plan of this story, but this new twist is just to get things moving again...

She walked on... she was losing it. She hated him... for making her want him. She still thought about him... and she wanted him again... so badly... She looked over and saw all three of them inside the training room. She wished... she was her old self again... but hatred ran through her... lust... and longing. She would never be the same... but she would try. All of a sudden they heard shrieks from outside. She smiled... live practice. Leon and Storm stood up and looked outside, Angelus was already out the window. She jumped out as well, creating an arc of ice for her to drop down on and ran to the streets. And there she saw several demons. She blew on her swords and gutted each one fiercely, making her way to the man and woman in trouble. Angelus was there as well and he picked them both up and got them out of the way as Storm, Leon and Keisha fought the demons head on. She slashed and pierced madly as she made her way through the crowd. She saw the portal once again, and stopped... "WATCH OUT!!" Storm screamed, but Leon was already on it, pushing Keisha out of the way of four demons jumping toward her. But he missed the ground, and they both stumbled into the portal. It closed behind them, and Leon cursed. He looked at Keisha who froze where she stood. "Come on... we're going to find our way out of here." he said as he took her hand and walked through the gates of hell. He searched for a new opening... but Keisha searched for Alexander... hoping... they wouldn't run into him... she didn't know what she would do if she saw him again...

Name: Sarah Withers Gender: Female Age: 21 Weight: 132 Height: 5'7" Appearance: Her dark brown hair is her greatest feature. Her hair reaches her waist, and is vibrant, and thick, with a small wave to it. But because she is a slave girl, her hair is usually pulled back... Slender body, with green eyes. Her beauty is not extravagant, but a simple beauty that makes her eye catching. Personality: While Sarah is kind... she is not the kind of person who sits and does nothing. Eager to work, but even more eager to take charge. She's looked up to by others, and has an assurance about her that makes people count on her. Never worried about her appearance, and she is not a people pleaser. She does her work, no questions asked, and is her own person. BIO: Sarah grew up on her own. Her mother and father died of a disease, and had no money to cure themsleves. Knowing that the disease was contagious, they took their daughter and gave her to a blacksmith who they had only seen a few times. They gave her to him, and he raised her, not as his child as they had hoped for, but as a slave to his own household. She was on his every call and whim, and learned not to care about what was demanded of her. She would do the work, no questions asked, without throwing pity on herself... while he tried desperately to break her, he never succeeded. She grew up to be a fine woman, one who could smile despite all the hurt she had lived with. He grew tired of her since he found no more pleasure in causing her pain, he sent her to the King, hoping to gain some prestige and honor in the gift. He tried to ordain her, and make her look more desireable, but Sarah didn't care for such measures. After he sent her away, she pulled off all the ridiculous jewelery and went as herself. She wasn't interested in her King... nor was she looking to find love. She did her work, no questions asked. But she would not do this... something beneath her... she would never throw herself at a King... and for this, she knew she would be beaten when returned to the blacksmith. Occupation: Slave girl - I've taken the spot as Damion's Love and I will be posting a second sign up if no one joins the part of the nobles :)

OOC: Really good! lol, I was afraid you'd be introducing another Kelthor figure, but he's worse! Sam held him in his arms... he was truly hurting. But her words rang true... she knew he was the one who would eventually kill their nemesis... and that thought... comforted her. She knew they would succeed... she had seen it. Her powers, and becoming one with the earth... had made her more powerful than she had ever imagined... she could see the future... in glimpses.. and feeling... she felt the earth turn, and it's constant regenerating like the beats of her own heart. She looked down at him and smiled. He was a quiet one, and he dried his tears as he stopped shaking. She didn't tell him of what she had seen... because she never wanted to add the burden of such a task onto him... while she forsaw the future... she knew it was continually changing. And when the future was bright, she knew she needed to leave it alone, and let things be. But if the future was grim, then she could take action, and aware those who would suffer at it's hands. He stood up and stopped shaking. His face was full of conviction. Again, she admired the young man's spirit. It gave them all strength. She looked over at Kala, and she tried pretending not to notice Kane's outburst. She too, admired him. Sam smiled. She walked over to Kala and placed a firm hand on her shoulder. "We keep going... because we have to... but know this..." she said looking at the rest of them as well. Jack was still staring over the edge of the hill. "Not one of us could have prevented such a thing on our own. If there is failure, it would be failure on all our part... not just one. I as your teacher, instructor.. and friend, would take full responsibility for this if I had to... but again... there is no failure on our hands for such an atrocity. The blame falls on the hands of that demon... the Destroyer." she narrowed her eyes on Jack and Kane... "Do not give him mercy... do not take that blame for yourself. It's completely his own." Jack turned slightly at her words. She didn't want them blaming themselves... because the blame fell on the Destroyer... and no one... should share in that with such a wicked being. She looked at Kala again and hugged her. "We mourn for the loss... but we keep going. You will all know when you are ready... but be wary. Of those who are too sure of themselves, they will fall... and they will have put their life, and the life of the ones in your group in jepordy as well." Kane nodded... he took her council to heart. She knew for Jack... it would take some time. Kala too nodded. And Sam walked on. She stared at the sky and waited... she needed help... she could not do this on her own... and she hoped... that he would come for her... that Jun... would hear her prayers.

Keisha sat up from her bed and stared at the wall... it was just a dream... A Horrible... dream.... She looked at herself and she shook... why did she dream about that? She felt... unclean... she got up and took a shower... letting the warm water trickle down her back and body.... As she shut her eyes... images flashed through her head of her dream... his body.... his kisses.... him... in her... she shut them even tighter as she crouched to the ground in the shower.... she raised her fists to her eyes, pushing on them, trying to get the images out of her mind... But they still lingered... She stared at her hands, the water falling over her... Was it a dream? She stood up and got out of the shower, wrapping a towel around her she sat on her bed... it was 6 in the morning... they would all be waking soon. "Snap out of it Keisha... it was just a dream." she said to herself. She dried her hair and got herself dressed... she looked at herself...... She had made love... to a demon.... the words sang clearly in her mind... and repeated themselves over and over again. There was a knock on her door and she answered it. It was Storm and he smiled at her. "Sleep well?" Such a simple question... and yet she had no answer for it... "Ye-Yes... thank you." she said walking back over to the bed. She grabbed her daggers and stared at them.... they were still stained with his blood. She grabbed her wet towel and washed them quickly before Storm noticed... she had been there that night.... she did... have sex with him... so why was she here? He used her.... He got what he wanted from her... and he left her... to her thoughts... to her memories... to her betrayal. "Keisha?" "Yeah?" she asked. Storm stared at her as she fumbled with her weapons. "Um... well breakfast is ready... we'll be waiting for you... no need to rush." he said as he closed her door again. She heard the door close and stopped cleaning her daggers. She dropped everything to the floor and cried... she cried long... and hard... she had dug her own grave... and now... she had no choice but to return to it... she gave her heart.... to one who was unreceptive.... who in due time... would be forced to kill her... or the other way around. She remembered his touches.... his body... oh how his body excited her.... the taste of his skin.... it was... heaven sent... but he wasn't from heaven.... he was sent from hell.... "Damn you Alex.... damn you...." she said as she felt the darkness within her grow....

Everyone was resting for the night. But she found no rest... her wounds... her memories... were healed. But she still couldn't get him out of her mind... She stared out the window and waited... waited to feel whole again... but she wasn't sure which future would make her feel complete... a future where she continued to fight the darkness... or a future where she could embrace it... with him... She shook her head. He is a DEMON...... she kept trying to remind herself of that... but his arms around her... his soft touches... burdened... her mind, and she wanted to feel that again... She looked in back of her at a sleeping Storm and Leon... Angelus was an angel... he didn't need to rest like humans did. She stared at the both of them and leant against the window. She remembered lying to them... she had to. Or they wouldn't trust her. And she couldn't lose their trust. She cared about them both.... they were her family... her comrades... and she believed in the cause they fought for. She slid down the wall as she sat there, hugging her knees. She hated feeling as if she was betraying their trust... but... she wanted him... she wanted him more than anything. Her heart... betrayed her mind. She wanted to go back... and she wondered why he freed her... why he let her go so easily. Was he trapping her? Was he counting on her betrayal? Was he... using her? She concluded... that he was. It was the only logical explanation. He had succeeded.... he had got what he wanted.... her thoughts were his... and she was in need of him. She cried silently to herself.... she wanted to see him again... she wanted... to feel him again. But in doing so, she was betraying those who trusted her... and she was lost. She could... want something... so badly.... and let it haunt her as she resided with those who trusted her... just to keep their trust.... or she could do something for herself for a change... and allow herself to have what she wanted.... But she realized there was no choice to be made. In her heart... she had already decided... she needed him. She clenched her fists in pain and anger... was he using her?????? Or was he.... sincere.... in wanting her??? The questions circled in her mind.... she wanted answers... and she wanted them... as soon as possible. But how was she to leave? They'd know when she was gone.... The moonlight shone through the window, casting a shadow.... she resided in the shadows.... she found no comfort in the light anymore... it reminded her of the choice she had made... deep within her heart. She closed her eyes... as she thought only of him... and his touch.... and the feeling.... he had given to her.... she wanted to see him again.... and that need.... burned through her like fire..... she gathered her weapons and jumped out the 2nd story window. She landed safely to the ground with the helps of her powers, and ran... she didn't know where... but she ran... she was trying to escape... the feelings that corrupted her mind

"Where have you been??" Storm asked her as he, Leon, and Angelus came running. "To hell and back..." she said softly. She tried smiling, but the new pain tore at her... she hated the pain... Storm nodded and knew she didn't want to talk about it. They all walked to the Safe house when suddenly a portal opened and demons crawled out of it and attacked them. Storm, Leon and Angelus fought them as soon as they came. Keisha did too until she noticed the opening... it called to her... Keisha stared at the portal... the demons were coming out of it quickly. She looked at the others... Storm... Leon.... Angelus... as they fought. She wanted to stop the pain inside of her... not once had she had to suffer the pain like she did now... she hated the pain inside of her. She wanted out... she looked at the portal and jumped inside. Storm caught sight of her and tried going in after her, but Leon pulled him back and the portal closed. "She is lost to us..." Leon said. Storm stared at the wall where the portal had been placed. He turned around and stared at Angelus. "Open a portal..." "What?" "Open a portal to Hell dammit!!" he said. "I can't open the portals!! Only those in hell can open the portals..." Angelus said. "You're a DEMON! You can do anything!!" Storm said. Angelus's wings turned sinister black as he stared at Storm. "I am a fallen Angel... and a dark angel. I am NOT a demon..." he said. "Whatever." Storm said as he walked back over to the wall. He attacked it, full fury as he screamed in frustration. "She made her choice...." Leon said again. He was angry at her... for falling so low... Angelus was as well... she had turned her back on them... and there was nothing they could do to help her... *_*_*_*_*_*_* Keisha walked through the gates, her blades out. She stared at the demons as they came at her. She sliced each one that fell on her, making her way to the center of the Realm. "Alexander?!!" she screamed. The demons froze and left her... they obviously feared their master. "Back? So soon?" Alexander chided as he emerged from the shadows. "I demand you release this curse from me." she said staring at him. "Curse? Is your past really that painful?" he said. She waved her blade at him. "Yes... it is...." she said. He walked over to her, slowly. She looked at him and backed away. "Don't fight it... you fear me because I can give you what you want..." he said. "I want you to destroy these memories that haunt me..." she said, trying to keep her voice calm and collected. "Memories? No my dear... you wish for something else..." he said as he looked at her. She struck her blades into him, but he ignored them... the blades... didn't affect him. It was as if he were already dead... he pulled them out, and dropped the blades to the floor. She stared in horror.... she was defenseless... He held her head in his hands as he carressed her cheeks with his thumbs. "Do not fight it..." he whispered as she shook. He stared at her, and she felt herself falling.... "I..... hate you....." she whispered. He stared at her and smiled. "We often hate those.... who make us weak...." he said as he wrapped his arm around her waist. His other hand under her hair on the side of her neck. "Leave me alone......." she said softly as she closed her eyes... the feeling he gave her... was like no other she had felt before... He pulled down the side of her shirt and kissed her shoulder, trailing up to her neck. She kept her arms to her side, but the urge to wrap them around him was strong. "You want me.... for once.... be honest with yourself.... dishonesty is for the unworthy my love..." Did he just say love? "You're true feelings call you...." he said as he blew softly around her neck. She couldn't help herself anymore... she relunctantly responded... and wrapped her hands around his neck, pulling his hungry lips to her own.... she had fallen... so very low....

Keisha walked slowly back to the safe house... she made sure no one was following her. Despite all of her injuries being healed, she could still feel a sharp wound in her heart... she didn't realize how much of her past truly hurt her... until he showed her... she didn't want the burden of being hurt... she wanted to be... okay... she stopped for a second and looked back as the portal closed. She wanted to go back... She shook her head... it was wrong to think he would do that for her... without a price to pay. She slayed his kind... she wouldn't go so low as to beg for something that he could give her... peace... of mind... she looked at the sky and hated the darkness... She walked on, thinking of the pain... and the kiss... for some reason... that affected her even more... it felt... real... as if... he meant it... but what did she know of that? She had never been in love before, nor been kissed... her mind.. was playing tricks on her... she didn't understand why she was questioning herself. She promised herself though... not to speak about this with anyone... they wouldn't understand... no one would.... but.... he might... the demon... seemed... to understand.........

"I accept your terms, Ironus." Sam said looking at the young man. Kane stared at her in disbelief... he clearly didn't like the boy one bit. Surprised, Jack nodded. He didn't have much to say after that. Sam walked on without a second glance. "We will be united though... for we are all fighting for the same purpose." She stopped and looked at them all. "And regardless of what you all may feel inside, unity... is what will save us all in the end. Not our own skills... but unity. And if one person... takes the world on their shoulders, not only are they putting their own life in jepordy, but the lives of everyone else." she said, not keeping her gaze on one person too long. It was directed to all of them.. not just the new recruit. She walked on and thought about her own actions 5 years before... she still felt responsible for Zack's and Lyon's death... even now... she had gone to save Jun... and turned her back on them both, killing them both in the process. She had that guilt laid on her heart... and she wished... that the one she had risked everything for would have seen what she had done... for him... but Jun kept his distance... "Sam?" Kane said with Kala close beside him. She looked at them and noticed Jack was 10 feet behind them. "Yes Kane?" she said, as she kept walking. "I don't mean to be rude, but is he really needing to come?" Sam looked back at the boy... he seemed to be lost with grief... a sadness laid beneath the surface... "We cannot turn our back on an elementalist... he will make his decision soon enough. He will see... just how hard it is to distance one self... and then he will choose... whether his own hatred... is more important than the cause he fights for." She hoped he heard her... because it was important that he knew what he was up against.

Keisha woke up in a garden... much like the one at home. She looked around and scratched her head. "Where am I?" she asked aloud. She stared at the area and heard the church singing... just like she had so long ago. The last thing she remembered was being knocked unconscious. But that couldn't be right... how'd she end up here? She saw a soft mound of earth and smiled. She remembered it clearly as if it was yesterday. She uncovered it and smiled when she saw her old toy... he was a scruffy looking dog... she remembered finding it outside of the courtyard of the Chapel... the toys were for the unfortunate... and she always felt ashamed for stealing one... but she held the dog dearingly... she remembered having so much fun with the stuffed animal. She stared at it and brought her mind back to reality. What was she doing there? Why was she there? What was going on? She dropped the animal and looked at the ground as everything withered around her and died... the sky went dark and all she could see was red flashes of light before the world disappeared around her. "I know you completely..." he said behind her. She turned around, but no one was there. "Who are you??" she asked standing up, horrified at the images around her... Darkness covered the area, with flashes of red light. She used her powers, but her powers were useless in such a burning place... "You have met me before... have you so soon forgotten?" he said as he bound her in darkness once more. She was raised off the ground when she finally saw him... it was the Higher Demon.... She tried to resist, but the power overwhelmed her. He continued. "I know about your past... and your future... I found your past both boring and dull... I hope... to make the future more exciting." Sam smiled and laughed. She told Kala and Kane to stay behind her. "Tough talk, Jack, but let's see what you got." she said as she pulled out her knives. He shook his head. "I warned you woman..." he said as he jumped to the ground, sword waved at her. She smiled mishcheiviously as he walked toward her. Suddenly, he melted her blades in her hands, the metal seeping down, but he gathered it all and recreated the blade in his hand. "I told you... those who try to overcome me will always fail." "And you underestimating will be your downfall... everyone who tries to defeat their opponent has a chance to succeed, and those who try despite the odds against them, are the worthy ones." she said. He came at her with his sword and she froze him as he stood. "But I am not one of those ones... the odds my dear are in my favor." she said. He stared at her in anger and defiance. Kala and Kane stared at her. Kane smiled, knowing what his teacher was capable of, and Kala stared in awe and wonderment. "I am Samantha Ming... Gaia... and I wish to have you join us Ironus Jack.... my powers are but a taste of what we have in store for those Demons. Do you wish to join us, or not?" she said. He looked at her with a confused look, but silent. She decided another demonstration was in order. She looked at him and split the earth beneath them, and walked over to him, despite the lack of ground. "Gaia..." was all he said. She was the Earth's Master... and it obeyed her every wish. "We will need your powers, Ironus.... join us... and you'll see...." she said with a smile, as the earth slowly closed up again, coming to life once more. He nodded and she dropped him from where he was in mid air. She put out her hand and lifted him to his feet. His armor was heavy, and it was amazing that he could carry that load... more than likely, a result from his powers. "Come... meet the others. We're going to be a team... and as one united group, we will destroy the evil among us." she said bringing him to Kane and Kala.

OOC: Curious  Keisha had her arms folded as she stared out the window. She hated waiting. Storm came up to her and leaned against the window. "I'm sorry... for snapping at you back there..." "There's no need... I should have listened... we are a team." she said looking down. "Hey... he's okay.... Angelus fortunately found his way back before destroying us. That's a good sign, wouldn't you agree?" he said smiling. She smiled. "Yes.... while unpredictable..." she said as she turned around and watched as he talked to Leon, "I do believe he will prove to be useful... Suddenly, the house shook. Storm looked up and frowned. "Someone's outside..." Keisha said. Angelus and Leon got up and looked around. Keisha smiled. "Sounds like we got company on the bottom." she said. Storm smiled. "You're just a little too excited about this, Keisha." "No, I just feel like getting all this frustration out on somebody today." she said. She ran outside and took one side as they followed and two took another. She looked around and saw Shadows running behind the alley. "I don't think so!" she said as she froze the ground and slid over it, increasing her speed. As she turned the corner, a hand came up and grabbed her before she could scream or react.

She could sense his thoughts... she knew he was already doubting her... but turning him would be easy. "Ciress?" he said shakily. She knew he was infatuated with her... and she would use this to her advantage. "My dear Razel..." she said as she wrapped her arms around his neck and wept on his shoulder. She could feel his body trembling. "I've waited for you.... for so long." she said as she pressed her body against his. He backed away, relunctantly as he stared at her. "You lied..." "Lie? Lies.... are evil...." she said as she creased her face. "You lied... you said you were in danger... she never meant to kill you..." "Razel.... don't tell me you've betrayed me...." she said softly, and sweetly... the confusion made his head spin. "I... I don't understand... she doesn't want to hurt you Ciress... why was I sent to kill her? What is that pendant she wears? Why.... am I to kill the four that carry the stones?" he said angrily. Ciress stared at him. "Don't question me.... you are forgetting who you're talking to..." "Who am I talking to??" he asked. He was shocked at her reaction. She walked up to him and put her hand in his hair. "I am your goddess.... the one who knows you.... to the depths of your soul..." she said as she touched his chest and carressed him. His breathing became heavier as he looked at her. "Yes.... you feel me too...." she said as she touched his mind again. "But.... the transmitter...." he said aloud. "A means only to keep you safe my love... so you wouldn't be lost..." she said as she pressed her body over his and kissed his neck. "Please..... stop..." he said. But Ciress silenced him as she continued. He wrapped his arms around her... his heart beating fast in his chest. He had been waiting for this.... he needed her touch. She knew him too well.... she knew what his thoughts were.... and she smiled as she made him hers once again.

Sam walked on investigating the ruins. She found the courtyard and stared outside of it. She looked at Kane and smiled. He was a quiet one... but she admired him. He had come a long way since the first time she found him. She wanted to find more... the times were getting worse, more demons popping out of every corner of the earth... she could feel them now as they opened portals all over... In the years, she had mastered her powers, never wanting to fall victim to them again... during her training and progression with her powers, she never forgot him. She tried to... she tried very hard to forget about him... but thinking about him made her smile when there was nothing to smile about... all those years on her own, and not once did she feel alone... because having him on her mind kept her company. "Sam?" Kane said looking at her oddly. "I was just thinking about how far we all have come. Especially you Kane..." "Thank you... it's nice to know you have faith in me." he said. She smiled. "This is only the beginning... we're going to find more out there... and when we do, we're going to help them train... you and me... I'm going to need your help." she said. He nodded. He watched as she walked in the middle of the courtyard and pushed away the rock and debris off the ground. She smiled at the soft patch of green earth beneath it all and blew softly on it. The dust and rubble cleared out of the way, covering the entire courtyard in lush, green land. Spreading like fire... She turned around to Kane and smiled. "Do you know why were doing this?" she said looking at him. He looked at her. "To stop the evil..." he said. "Yes... but have you ever thought of our reasons why?" she said as the earth around them came back to life. He shook his head... he was sure he knew the answer, but he didn't want to say the wrong thing. "To give everything else on this earth a chance to live... everyone has the right to a long and full life... even the smallest creatures, and plants..." she said. She smiled brightly as she turned around and walked through the ruins, as the sun slowly peaked out over the earth.

"Damn him..." She said. She looked at the transmitter and it was completely useless.. she had lost him on the viewscreen... he had completely smashed the device. "Fine... I'll have to do this the hard way..." she said. She brought in the hired assassins... she had never thought she'd had to go to plan b... They all came in and she injected every single one of them with the same device. "You each have your chosen targets... you'll dispose of them, only after you make confirmation that they have their Jirax stone. After making confirmation, you'll kill them and bring their stones to me. Understand?" "Yes..." they said as they looked at her. She turned her back to them and sat on her chair... she crossed her legs and smiled at all of them as they stared at her... they knew they should fear her... they too had been brought up as assassins... stolen at birth... but not living as long as Razel... he truly was unique. "And if you should fail..." she said as she pressed the button on the transmitter, each one screamed in pain as she laughed at them... controlling the people of this age would be all too easy.... ******* "We'll start from where this pendant came from... since this is what that woman wanted..." "Are you sure you didn't want to kill her?" he asked skeptically looking at her. Jessica sighed, leaning even further back on the balcony. "Razel, I have NO clue who this woman is... all I know... is that this pendant is very special... and these holes... are meant to have 4 small stones in them..." "Four?" he asked looking at her. "Yeah... why?" she said looking at him. "Nothing... it's just that she had another assignment for me... after I finished with you." "Didn't you ever ask her about these missions, Razel?" she asked. The sun was blazing down. "No... all I knew was that these people threatened her life... I can't let anything happen to her... not even now..." he said looking down. "Razel... she's been decieving you... ever since you were a child... she obviously took you from your real parents..." Jessica said trying to make him see how dangerous she is. "No... you're wrong. Ciress is perfect in everyway..." he said. He would give anything to hear her voice.... "Alright... if you say so... but tomorrow we'll hit my father's books... he was an expert at this sort of thing." she said with a smile as she headed back in. He looked around the balcony and put his hands in his pockets as he followed her back in. "What was he like?" "Who?" "You're father... what are fathers like?" he asked. She stared at him and realized how hard it was for him to comprehend such a thing. "My father was so loving... you see, my dad was an archeologist... he was the best there was. He could decipher drawings and hieroglyphics like we decipher letters and numbers on a piece of papers." He watched her as she talked about him... was he in her mind as well? "Where is he?" Razel asked. She picked up a journal and flipped through the pages, not looking at him. "My parents were killed... by someone who was after this." she said as she pointed at the pendant... Razel stared at the pendant. Suddenly flashes of his memory came back... he remembered it... it was the same pendant as before... but that job was last year... and she was a lot younger. "How long... have you had that pendant?" he asked. "Ever since I was 2... it just appeared on my neck. My father would tell me stories about the Auran... and an ancient city... he kept it in the journals. Apparently, it has something to do with that..." She looked at him and he shifted where he stood. "Razel?" He put his hand to his head... he couldn't understand what was going on. "Razel.... come to me..." ******** Ciress was holding her staff with a large stone on it... She repeated these words to him, her voice only being an echo in his mind... but an echo she knew he would chase after.... she would have him back... and no one would destroy what she had planned for... ********* OOC: Alright, here's the deal.... Ciress slammed her fist on the glass table in front of her "NO!!" she screamed as the sound echoed its way through the chamber. She stared at the viewscreen in front of her and frowned. She watched as he screamed... she was angry.... the transmitter itself was broken... he could no longer hear her thoughts. "Damn him and his clumsiness!!" she said as she pressed a small button and watched him writhe in pain. "That's what you get for breaking the link." she said smugly. She watched as the girl came over to him. "No....." she said angrily. "SHE'S STILL ALIVE???" hatred and anger boiled in her. She fumed as she stared at the girl, coming to his aide. "DAMN YOU RAZEL!!!" she screamed as she made the pain intensify. Suddenly, Razel collapsed, and all she could see was the girl in histerics. "Fool... he's not dead...." she said watching. She switched the screen off and stared at her bloody hand... she had broken the glass table, cutting herself. She stared at the blood and took in it's scent... she turned around and walked into another chamber. She flipped through her books, leaving blood stains over everything. "He has changed things... that fool... that idiot... he's crippled my plans.... bastard... I'll enjoy killing him when this is all over...." she found the book and set it on the table. "I will reach you my poor Razel... and you'll be in my power, once again..." she said softly as she used her socery to touch his mind... ***************** "Lay back down... you've been unconscious for two days..." she said softly. She stood up and stared at him as he looked for his weapon. "I took all your weapons." she said as she went over to the dresser. He stared at her, not knowing where he was or what he was doing there. "You can start by first saying thank you, you know... without me, you'd be dead right now." she said, as she brought the cool rag to his head. Suddenly, his hand reached for her neck and he held it tightly. "What did you do to her." he asked quickly, his hand gripping her harder. "I don't know what your talking about." she let out angrily. "DANG YOU TELL ME WHY YOU WANT TO HURT HER!!!!!!!!" he screamed. "I don't want to hurt anyone.... I saved you... even after you tried killing me." she said. He was confused... his mind.... she was gone. He looked away... trying so hard to feel her. She looked at him and felt like shooting him... she didn't know how much longer of this she could take. "Who... are you..." she asked again. He looked at her, not saying a word. "I can help you.... if you give me some answers... you said she was expecting me... who wants me dead?" "You were going to kill her." "Kill who?" "Ciress.... why are you pretending not to know what I'm talking about??" he asked angrily. "I'm not pretending... I don't understand." she said staring at him. He stared at her in disbelief. "You talk lies..." he said. "I don't Lie." she said sternly. He looked at her and laid his head back. He was still trying to figrure out why he couldn't hear her anymore. "Do you mind..." she said as she placed her hand on his shoulder, pulling him forward. "What... what are you doing?" "You have a really nastly bump on your head... I've been trying to see if it would go down..." she said. She put the wet cloth on the area the blood had come from and felt something hard. She looked and saw a small electronic device. She pulled it off and looked at it. Razel glared at her and noticed something in her hand. He grabbed it from her and examined it. He saw it was a transmitter. "Where did you get this?" he asked demandingly. She blinked at him. "From your HEAD." she said flatly. He looked at her and felt the back of his head..... he knew she was telling the truth. "What is it?" she asked him. He stared at it and anger boiled through him.... she lied.... she was somewhere.... and she was watching him all these years... she wasn't.... his angel.... she was the one... torturing him. "But that can't be true..." he said staring at the wall. Jessica looked at him. "What's wrong?" "I don't want to talk about it." he said sternly looking at the transmitter. She nodded and sat at the edge of the bed. She watched him as he looked at the transmitter like it was his enemy. "What's your name?" she asked quietly. He looked up as if trying to remember... "It's... It's Razel..." "Razel? Well that's peculiar... were you born in Egypt or something?" she asked smiling. "Born?" he said. "Yeah.... how old are you anyway?" "Old? What are you talking about?" "I mean, what's your age? What year were you born? You got a birthday?" she said jokingly. But he looked at her completely lost. "Don't you know?" she asked, realizing he truly had no clue what she was talking about. He looked down and shook his head... the conversation was confusing him. She nodded. "Alright, enough of my questions then... do you have any you'd like to ask me?" He didn't respond... he didn't want to talk to her... he was too confused... about everything. "Why didn't you kill me?" he finally asked. She sat cross legged at the edge now and laughed. "Can't say it didn't cross my mind... but I wanted answers more than anything... I've only been attacked once before in my life... and I lost both my parents that night." she said. "Parents?" "Yeah... this guy... 4 years ago... he'd be probably in his mid 20's right now... came into my home and killed my parents... then he came after me. He was trying to steal this." she said pulling out the pendant she wore. She showed it to him, but he had no reaction toward it. "It's puzzled me ever since... and I thought maybe you came for the same thing..." she said. he didn't respond. Razel remembered the pendant... but he was puzzled... the man he killed that night was also going to kill Ciress.... but the girl made him out to be some great guy.... and a parent... what was that? "My father... died that night... along with his dreams." "There you go again.... what is a father?" "Are you serious?" she asked looking at him oddly. "Do I LOOK like I'm joking??" he said angrilyl "Parents are the ones responsible for bring you into this world.... surely you have had someone like that..." "No... only Ciress.... she's been with me for as long as I can remember." he said. "Ciress is the woman who wants me dead...." she said looking at him "Can I know why?" "She said you're threatiening her life... that you were going to kill her." he said looking down. Now everything made sense.... "Razel... let me help you answer these questions... I can... just let me try." she said smiling, waiting for his reply.

She heard the music and her heart stopped. She looked back and realized he was the one they saw the day before. "Keisha!!" Storm said as he grabbed her and dragged her away. "Storm, that's the same angel..." "You mean dark angel..." he said angrily. "He's not dark..." she said as she ran with the three of them. "He is helping us Storm..." Leon said. "He may be helping us now, but if that half angel wakes up on a bad day, who knows what havoc he'll create!!" Keisha stopped as she looked at Storm. He looked back at her in surprise and irritation. "How ungrateful can you be?" she asked looking at him oddly. "Ungrateful?" Storm said surprised. "I don't think ungrateful is the right term to be using Keisha... he's being cautious." Leon concluded. "Whatever you call it, I find it ungrateful... he's taking on three Dark Angels, just so we can escape??? And you still doubt him?" Storm looked at her still irritated. "I am simply looking out for the well being of this group. "Yeah, well we're not the only ones here..." she said angrily. "We are Slayers, Keisha, we have obligations to fulfill..." "And we're people too.... he needs our help... and he can help us...." "Keisha, we don't need this right now, he's trying to hold them off so we can get away... he knows the importance of our mission, everyone does, except for you." "I guess I'm just not very good with teams then...." she said as she turned around. She used her powers to make her pace even faster as she went back to where Angelus was fighting. "Dammit Keisha!!!" Storm said, but Leon stopped him from going after her. "She's going to get in trouble Leon!!" he said angrily looking at him. "We know where she's going, but with her powers, she could be half way there.... we need to head her off by taking a different route." Leon led the way and they went to head her off. Keisha ran hard, only to reach the clearing, and to see no one there... "Oh great.." she said as she looked around for any signs of the angel... when all of a sudden she was hit from behind, and all she heard was approaching footsteps before she blacked out again. OOC: Felt like adding a little fun until the fourth elementalist shows up... let me know if everything's okay :)

OOC: That post was awesome  Jessica quickly grabbed her gun from her dresser and rolled out of the way. She stood up and stared at her assailant. "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME???" she screamed at him, pointing her gun at his head. He smiled at her, that sent shivers down her spine. She kept the gun to his head... but she had no desire to kill him, she wanted answers... it had been a long time since something like this had happened. He advanced toward her quickly, and knocked the gun out of her hand. In the same moment, he pushed his blade to her neck, trying to cut her throat. She backed away, but he pushed her against the wall. She tried pushing his wrist away from her, but he was a lot stronger than she was... "Kill her love.... and everything will be perfect...." "I will... Ciress..." he said menacingly. Jessica stared at him in horror, wondering who the hell he was talking to... He pushed with more strength, but she kicked him where it counts, sending him backwards, but only for a few moments until he lunged at her again. But she was ready this time. She ducked just as the blade was about to slash her in the throat, and he hit the wall in back of her. She kicked him in the stomach, and he stared at her with hatred and anger in his eyes. "Damn it, what did I do to you???" she said loudly, and he just stared at her. His shoulders were hunched forward as he walked. She looked at him and something ran through her... she pitied him... it was as if this was a matter of life and death on his end as well. "Who sent you?" she asked as he walked toward her ever so slowly. "She's waiting for you...." "Who is???" she demanded. "My one and only..." he said as he cocked his gun and pressed it against her forehead. She had let her guard down.... "Daddy....... I'm sorry...." she said with tears in her eyes... she had failed her father... she wanted to make his life long ambitions real... and now she would never have the chance. He looked at her as the tears fell from her eyes. It confused him... why was she crying??? She should be furious... right? "KILL HER!! DO IT NOW!!!!!" Ciress said as she sent jolts of pain into him. He stared at her.... he was confused with the emotion... but he couldn't let her down....

OOC: Excellent! :) Ciress sat in her chair as she out the transmitter away. She pressed a small button on the chair and a viewscreen went up. She looked at the screen and watched as Razel set up for his kill that night. "My dear Razel... you've become such a useful toy of mine..." she said to herself. She let out a chuckle and smiled. "How the might have fallen. Your demise will be my most long waited dream." She flipped on another screen and looked out across Egypt, closing in on different locations. She stopped for a while and looked at several people. "The guardians... yes... there they are..." she laughed again to herself. "Once the girl is dead, they'll be like a night with no stars... all meaning and purpose, lost..." She flipped on the transmitter. "Razel my love... you must succeed.... there are four more targets, that I will need you to dispose of." "Yes, Ciress.... let me know these ones, and I will start right away." "An eager attitude, is very commendable. But in order for everything to work out as planned, I need you to dispose of her as quickly as possible..." "I would never fail you, Ciress..." "I know love... I know..." she said as she ended the transmission and watched him on her viewscreen. "Poor pitiful boy... your desperate need for love can be so ammusingly sad." she said as she laughed wickedly in the dark chanber. ******* Jessica finished her shift and hung her apron up. "Jessica!!" She turned around angrily and exausted. "Yes Mr. Jerig?" "You didn't clear table number three!!!" "My shift is over, do it yourself." she said as she picked up her purse. "Jessica, I won't repeat myself!!" he said. She stopped and stared at the door in front of her. She was fuming. She turned around and stared at the short man. "I don't give a damn WHAT you do with table 13-" "3!" Kyle called out from the chef's room. "Three, thirteen, I still DON'T GIVE A DAMN KYLE!!!" she said annoyed. She looked back at her boss and he was looking sheepishly at the staring customers. She grabbed her apron and threw it at him. "Table 3 is waiting Mr. Jerig, I hope you remember procedures." she said as she went for the door. "This is your last chance Jessica, I'm warning you, there's no turning back from that point!" "I dont care, fire me. I'm done." she said. She left the diner and leaned against the wall. "Well that went well." she said to herself as she walked home. It was night, and no one was out on the streets. Egypt was no gorgeous place, but she had lived in Egypt all her life. Ever since her parents were killed, Jessica had taken what money they left her and used it to further her training. She was a skilled swordsman, along with an excellent shot. She knew that whoever killed her parents, wanted her in the first place. She looked at the pendant she wore. She knew it meant something... and she also knew the four holes in it needed to be filled in order to stop whatever evil was among them. She tucked it away and thought about her parents. She held the guilt of their deaths heavily on her conscience. She knew that it was because of her pendant she wore, that her parents had to die.... she shook her head. No use in thinking about the past... she thought. She lived in a small apartment complex near the desert. The side of the desert was her father's excavation mark... where he had made his discovery. She kept his journals and logs, but the pages about the pendant and theories were gone. She got inside of her house and took a shower, and got ready for bed.... not even checking to see the doors were locked.........

OOC: Pain is great :D Keisha watched as Storm broke free, and dropped below. She couldn't hear anything they were saying.... she was still trying to break free. She tried to shut her senses to the dark feeling in the pit of her stomach, but not once has she ever encountered a feeling like this... she had prepared herself for Vampire's bite... Werewolf's tearing of flesh.... but this... seemed to be ripping at her inner core, destroying what good was left in her. All of a sudden in the midst of struggling, she was dropped to the floor. She couldn't hear anything.... just the sound of her fainting heart beats, slowly finding it's way back to normal. She tried getting up, but the pain was still near... leaving her shaking as if she had used all of her energy, and was left with barely enough to move a few inches. She felt weak.... something she wasn't use to. She looked to the side of her and saw Storm using his powers, shortly before she blacked out. OOC: Sorry for the short post, have some things to tend to...
