[color=indigo]Heh, when I finally beat Metroid Prime I too only had about 50 energy left. . . . Of course, I also beat it on my first try. :toothy: The real challenge, though, is beating it in under 5 hours [i]and[/i] collecting 100% of the items and log book entries. A couple months after MP was released, Nintendo Power had an Arena challenge to see who could beat the game in the shortest amount of time with the highest percentage. The winner had a time of 3:58, with 100%. Second place was a whole hour behind, coming in at 5:03, also with 100%. I dunno about other people, but I think that's just insane. I don't see how you could possibly do everything in MP in that short of a time. I'd think just having to go around collecting all the items would take too long. :cross:[/color]

[color=indigo]I've recently started playing this game (about three or four days ago), and I'm already almost all the way through it. It's just sucked me in, and I've played for hours and hours in one sitting without even realizing it. (I've looked up from it more than once and saw that it was getting light outside, heh). Now I know why so many people love this game and say it's one of the best RPGs ever, heh. Anyway, I really like the battle system. It's a nice change from the system in the FF games, heh. The dual and triple techs really add a lot more depth to the fights. It's also kind of nice that you don't have to go into a seperate screen for combat, too. The story is also absolutely awesome. It really drew me in, and actually made me want to keep playing after sitting and playing for hours and hours. It's also the only game I can remember to make me laugh, cry, and cheer (besides after beating a tough boss, I mean). I don't think any other game has had all three of those effects on me. Truly a spectacular game. I just hope Chrono Cross (which I'm going to play after I'm done with Chrono Trigger) is as good. ^_^[/color]

[color=indigo]Hmm . . . I think I know where you are. Is it in that one room on the third floor with a couple Anubis and a couple Beamos? And the floor is a bunch of narrow walkways with square pits in between them? If that's where you're at, kill the Anubis and Beamos in the room. This should make the bars on the eastern doorway lift up, allowing you access to that room. In there, you'll find a floor switch that has four Armos Knights standing around it. The switch has to have constant pressure on it to keep the southern door open, however. To manage this while still being able to get through the door, lure one of the Armos Knights onto the switch and then hit it with your sword. This will make the Armos stop moving for a bit, so that the door will stay open long enough for you to run through. Next is a hallway with a little staircase. Through the door at the other end, you'll find yourself in another "throne room," like the one room just before you got the Silver Gauntlets. Defeat the Iron Knuckle, and then proceed through the passage behind it's throne. You'll now be outside the Spirit Temple on the other giant hand, across from where you got the Silver Gauntlets. In this chest, however, you'll find the Mirror Shield. Hope that helps. If that's not where you're at, sorry. It would help a lot if you could tell me what floor the room is on, and what area of that floor? (Such as the southeast corner of the third floor, which is what I just went through).[/color]

[color=indigo]I don't really doubt that it's also in G/S/C. I mean, it's caused by the empty variables used for storing Pokémon, right? And there are 256 different variables in a byte, and only 251 Pokémon in G/S/C. That leaves five open slots, meaning something like Missingno most likely [i]is[/i] in G/S/C. The only problem is find a way to make it appear, since they were probably looking for that type of glitch after the Missingno glitch in R/B.[/color]

And about the two different lists on the site, I have no idea. I think you're able to call more monsters in the PSX remake of FFIV, but I'm not sure. First, it's just a fansite, and second, you're not posting it just to try and get people to visit the site; you're posting the link because it has some cool info on it. There is an easy way to avoid this altogether, though, if you're afraid something like this would be considered advertising. That is, just copy the text off of the website and paste it into your post. That's really interesting, though. I've always been curious about the missingno glitch, and this answered all of my questions about it.[/color]

[color=indigo]There's a way to fix that, you know. People saying everything you do is wrong, that is. If you just read the [url=http://www.theotaku.com/rules.shtml]rules[/url] and follow them, you shouldn't have any problems. See, the thing about just not reading something if it's spam is just ignoring the problem, not fixing it. And if we just let the spam pile up, it would be very annoying to have to sift through it to find the threads that have some decent discussion in them. In other words, ignoring the problem doesn't make it go away, it just postpones the consequences. As for your question about where to find the Big Key in Dragon Roost Cavern, it's in that big room in the northeast corner of the first floor. To get there, go to the room just before the boss room. (The one that has the door with the big lock over it). Exit that room through the southern door, and then use the Grappling Hook to cross the gaps in the path to the east. Go through the door at the end of the path, and cut the ropes holding the bridge up so that you drop down to the second floor. From here, go through the door (west side of the room) and step onto the platform that's being held up by four ropes inside a cage. Use a Spin Attack to cut all four ropes at once, causing both you and the platform to fall down to the first floor. Jump off the platform into the passageway to the northeast, and jump across the metal platforms hanging from the ceiling. Climb up the ladder, and you'll find a barred door to your right (north side of the room). To open the door, use the Grappling Hook to swing on and pull down the lever out over the lava. Be careful to avoid the Keese flying around, and once you've pulled the lever, jump off the rope and back onto the platform with the now unbarred door. When you go through the door, use the Grappling Hook once again to swing on the beam up above. Stop yourself swinging with the R button and then, while holding the button, use the Control Stick to turn yourself towards the eastern passageway. Release the button, and then start swinging again with the Control Stick. After you jump across to the ledge, hop across some more metal platforms and swing across another lava pit with the Grappling Hook. Now you're finally in the room with the Big Key, but there's a problem; a ring of fire surrounds the chest that contains the Key. Next to the chest there's a switch that makes the flames disappear, but something must hold it down or else the flames just come back right away. To fix this, walk over to the lava in the room and wait for a Magtail to crawl out. Now wait for it to raise up a little and spread it's pincers, and then hit it with your sword. This will make it curl up into a ball, letting you pick up and carry it. Pick it up, and then go set it down on the switch. This will makes the flames disappear, while leaving you free to go open the chest and grab the Big Key. There, hope that helps. If you need any more help, just ask. :)[/color]

[color=indigo]Well, it really depends on which Zelda and which Link, and also when they'd get together. With the Link and Zelda from OOT/MM, it wouldn't work, seeing as Zelda is a sage and Link leaves after a while. (As told in the TWW story). If we're talking about the Link and Zelda from TWW, however, I think it could work. I mean, they do [spoiler]sail off together[/spoiler] at the end of TWW. Nothing has yet been said about the story of the next game, which is going to be a direct sequal to TWW, but they might be able to pull it off. Or they could just hint at it at the end, and not actually have it affect the game that much. So yeah, it is feasible for that Link and Zelda, but I don't think it would work to well with the others. As for whether I think they [i]should[/i] do it, no, not really. I don't think they could really make it work well, even with the TWW pair. I only think they should do it if it really adds something to the story. It shouldn't just be thrown in, otherwise it'll probably just seem stupid and pointless. It would probably also be pretty hard to do it well[/color]

He doesn't even use any magic-like attacks, such as Edge's Ninja abilities. There's also Yang from FFIV, for another one off the top of my head. Heh, sorry if I sound like I'm just shooting down peoples' points, but I can't stand just letting something like this go when I know it's wrong. ^_^; I just don't want people to have the wrong information.[/color]

OOC: Just to let people know, in my little diagrams, if a card has an "x" in the middle of the numbers it means it's Cecil's color. If it has an "o" it means it's his opponent's color. X's instead of numbers means there's no card in that space. Edit: Lol, that's hilarious, Braidless Baka. That was one of the best parts in The Secret of Monkey Island. Quistis was sitting at her desk, looking worse than when he had come in.
