Heh, cute. The greyscale effect does work well with it. Makes it look sort of like it's from a sketch book, especially with your screen name next to it. And I love black and white sketchy looking things. ^_^

I was bored last night so I decided to try and make some Metroid banners. I came up with this and a half finished Metroid Fusion banner, which I'll post in here if I can get it done and looking good. Here's the Metroid Prime banner: Right, I finally got the Metroid Fusion banner done. If it looks like the colors on the text are a bit washed out, well, it's because they are. Such is the penalty of .jpg compression. . . .

Nope, it's not Necron. And Zeh, I'm pretty sure I've already answered that question before. :whoops:
-
There's also Jigglypuff, Clefairy, and Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan. That's only three, though. Togetic is the only other G/S/C Pokémon that has a baby form, but it's not one of the original 151. Oh, and Pokémon is a manga and an anime, not just an anime. I have one of the manga volumes, though I can't read it since it's in Japanese.

Yeah, if you answer a question and you know you're right, ask a new question in addition to posting the answer. Otherwise the quiz kind of grinds to a halt for a bit and everybody gets annoyed at you. :twitch:

Wow, this looks really cool; I can't wait to play the completed version. If they turn out good this could be a dream come true, since I've always prefered the 2D games over the 3D games. I just hope they support the use of a gamepad, though. It'd be a pain to play Zelda with the keyboard.

There, was that so hard? ;) This is why I take an extra minute or so to carefully choose the wording of my questions. Answer: In no particular order... 1. Riding out straight towards Lon Lon Ranch from the Market entrance. 2. Riding past the entrance to Lon Lon Ranch. 3. Across the river, west of the Market entrance. 4. Near the entrance to Gerudo Valley, near that little overhang. 5. Another one near the entrance to Gerudo Valley, practically the same place. 6. In the little area of land near the entrance to Kakariko Village. 7. Around in that grove of trees in the southeast part of Hyrule Field. 8. Sort of along the path near the grove of trees. 9. Heading towards that short fence on the eastern side of Lon Lon Ranch, coming from the north. 10. Running sort of along that stone wall to the east of Lon Lon Ranch. Hope those locations are good enough. They're a bit general, but so are the locations of some of the Poes. Question: In OOT, how many Rupees does the marathon man, who's running around the outside of Lon Lon Ranch during the day after you beat Inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly, pay you for the Bunny Hood?
-
Answer: Nothing. However, you do get the Giant's Wallet for collecting 30 Gold Skulltula tokens. :p Question: In OOT, how can you tell when you've collected all of the Gold Skulltula tokens in an area of the overworld or in a dungeon?

*is secretely planning to hijack the ice cream man's truck and start up my own little ice cream empire* Anyway want in on the plan? :whoops: Heh, I've actually never gotten ice cream from the ice cream man, that I can remember. I do remember that a long time ago, there was one around here that was also selling drugs, though. Guess I should've just paid the extra money. ;) As for where I get ice cream, I pretty much just eat it whenever my parents decide to get some at the store. I barely ever actually ask for it, since I get stomach cramps and diarrhea if I eat too much of it, even with dairy ease stuff. Being mildly lactose intolerant sucks. Edit: Oh, yeah, and as for which flavor I like, I prefer the kind that has chocolate ice cream and then a couple other kinds of chocolate stuff in it. I've seen it called various things; it seems to just depend on the brand. Pretty much just triple chocolate, heh. Anyway, I like that mixed in with vanilla. ^_^

*takes a bow* I'll do my best as captain. ^_^ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For a moment, Cecil was drawing a blank as to which airship to choose as he stared up at the four magnificent and one not-so-magnificent ships. Then a thought struck him, a memory of a time far back in his life, before his great journey. He then pointed up to the Ragnarok and said, "I choose the Ragnarok. With its crimson finish, our new team shall be known as the Redwings! I once commanded the Redwings of Baron, an elite fleet of airships, and now I am honored once more to lead an elite group of survivors." With a glance and a grin back at Auron, he added, "You fit the part well."

Yeah, they should make it optional for whether or not you want to enter the Chao Garden after a level, if they include it. It always annoyed me that I had to enter and then leave the Chao Garden in between levels in SA2B. It should just automatically drop off the stuff you collected in the level into the garden without you actually having to go into it.

Bleh, I like the Zelda quiz more. It's a smaller group of people that post regularly in it, so keeping it from getting confusing is a lot easier. Of course, with the Pokémon quiz, I don't even try. :cross: Answer: You get the Coral Ring. Question: What classic boss from FFIV also later appeared in FFIX?
-
Six to eight? o_0 Only bosses can do that much damage. Think lower numbers.
-
Answer: The Blue Mail makes you take 1/2 damage, and the Red Mail makes you take 1/3 damage. Question: In A Link to the Past, what is the most damage a Dark World enemy in the overworld can do to you?
-
Yeah, I'm really hoping the end of this next one will connect a little more to A Link to the Past. Connecting The Wind Waker and A Link to the Past is a bit hard. *sees addition to your signature* Heh, don't worry about it. ^_^
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel Colosseum is obvious. Like I said here and before, the game Pichu Bros. was merged into it at some point according to Nintendo. I don't know what this entails, but hopefully it will be more interesting.
I'm betting they're just going to use the Pichu Bros. game instead of mini-games like they had in the two Stadium games. Something like that, anyway. And about the name, here's a quote from Dictionary.com: "col·i·se·um also col·os·se·um n. A large amphitheater for public sports events, entertainment, or assemblies."
Originally posted by GreatDeitylink Point 2:If we post an answer and it is wrong then what woud be the point of the question?
So that what is going on right now won't happen. >_< If you're sure or pretty sure that your answer is correct, make sure that you post a new question in addition to the answer. This helps to keep the quiz running smoothly, since you don't get people answering questions but not asking them near as much. If you know the answer to a question but you can't think of a question to ask, don't post. It's Legacy's turn to answer a question, though. You have to answer a question in order to ask one, and only the person that answered the last question can ask one.

You know, I was half expecting something like this to happen. Escpecially after seeing the ending to The Wind Waker, and how it sets up for a sequal perfectly with Link and the pirates
sailing off to a new land
. I also have a feeling this is going to be another one of those "side quest" Zelda games, like The Adventure of Link, Link's Awakening, and Majora's Mask, where Ganon and the Triforce have a very small, if any, role in the game. Of course, as with any Zelda game, I'm looking forward to this. I wonder when we'll start getting screen shots and more info, though. Maybe at Spaceworld (if Nintendo has it this year) in August, if they're planning on having it playable at E3 2004. Whee, three new Zelda games to be excited about. That's a new record. ^_^
Originally posted by Mnemolth The interesting thing about a thread like this is not what people say, its what they do not say. :D
Yeah, but I'm too lazy to read between the lines. :p Personally, I think I act pretty much the same online as I do in person. I might be a bit more talkative online, but that could be for some other reason(s) too, not just because it's over the net. It's not really that I'm shy; I don't mind talking to people (unless they're annoying, heh), or getting my picture taken, or getting up in front of people, or stuff like that. It also depends on how well I know the person I'm talking with, too. The more I get to know someone (online or in person), the more I'm inclined to talk. So yeah, I think I act pretty much the same online as I do in person.

I'm a cross between angel and silent, with a splash of emotional. (With dabblings in most of the the others, too, of course). In other words, I do what I'm told without much complaint or really saying anything at all, I'm usually very nice, and it's hard to tell what my true feelings are unless I make them obvious. That means I could totally hate your guts, and you wouldn't know it unless I wanted you to. :toothy:

Okay, lets see, I think I know of five. . . . Answer: 1. Princess Zelda, while leading her to the Sanctuary at the start of the game. 2. That thief near the entrance to the Desert of Mystery, when you break his sign. 3. The boss of Level 4: Thieves' Town, while it's in the form of a girl. 4. The blacksmith's partner. 5. That locked chest that you find in the house in the Dark World, where the blacksmiths' shop would be located in the Light World. Question: In A Link to the Past, can you use the Magic Mirror in the Light World? If so, what does it do? Edit: Doh, accidentally said Dark World when I meant Light World. *changes it*

Yes, the answer is Knuckle. Ask a question, please. :) Remember, post a question if you're going to post an answer.
-
Lol, yeah, I'm a guy. *points to picture in profile* There's no need to apologize, though, I just want people to know how the quizzes should work. And with that . . . on with the quiz! (I believe it's your turn to ask a question, by the way). :)

Answer: Aquamentus is originally from The Legend of Zelda, but it also appeared in Oracle of Seasons. Question: In The Wind Waker, there's a figurine that you can't get without using the Tingle Tuner. Which figurine is it?

Hmm, this game looks pretty good, judging from that video. I just hope they improve the play control and camera over Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2. I tried playing SA2 Battle when I borrowed it from a friend, but those two things just ruined it for me. It seemed like half the reason the game was at all hard was because of those things, too. And that's something that really, really annoys me in video games. Also, I'm kind of wondering if they'll have a multiplayer mode where two or three players could each control one of the characters. Kind of like how one person would play as Sonic and the other as Tails in the old Genesis games. If done right, I think that could be really fun.
