Heheh, okay. Answer: They either have 4 eyes, 8 eyes, or 12 eyes. Question: How many different kinds of Octoroks are there, what are they, and where can you find each kind?

Sorry, I'm looking for the specific name of the item. I'm not making it that easy. :p

Answer: There's Fighter, Theif, Monk, White Mage, Black Mage, and Red Mage. In the original FFI for the NES, though, the Monk was called a Black Belt. Question: Why did Square name the original game "Final Fantasy," even though they made sequals?

Answer: A rat comes out, eats the bait, and offers to sell you stuff. Question: In The Wind Waker, what item that you keep in a Bottle can be used an unlimited number of times within a certain time limit? (Yeah, easy, but I can't think of anything else at the moment).

Yeah, once I figured out what to do, it wasn't that hard. I ended up beating it with almost full energy. That's what I mean by more annoying that really diffucult, though. You die really quick the first couple times because you don't have time to figure out what to do, and then when you do figure out what to do, it's easy.

It's spelled "Flaagra." ^_^ And yes, Flaagra really is quite easy compared to most of the other bosses. Heh, have fun, I guess. I've started playing Metroid Fusion again, and I've gotten quite a ways. Last thing I did was get the Plasma Beam, and now I'm heading into Sector 5 (ARC) to fight the Nightmare. I'm thinking I've missed a couple Energy Tanks, though. I only have seven (meaning I have about 800 energy), and when I was fighting that spider boss to get the Space Jump, I'd die from only three times of it picking me up. As a result, I died three times before I really figured out how to hit the thing and avoid its attacks. I'm find this more annoying that just difficult. I mean, I can see the SA-X doing that much damage in a single missile hit (and it does), but only being able to get hit three times on a normal boss is a little much I think.

Moogles first appeared in FFVI, not FFIV, just so you know. :)

Uh, yeah, that was Tasis lol. I've never even played FFX. :cross:

Answer: In OOT, there's a little drawing of a dinosaur looking like thing at the base of Link's tree house. I'd assume Link drew it, but it never actually says or shows who drew it. In MM, there's a drawing of the Skull Kid and the two fairies, drawn by, um, the Skull Kid and the two fairies, heh. Question: In MM, a lot of character models were re-used from OOT. So, where in OOT can you find the character with the same character model as the master of the Might Training Center in MM?

Lol, I really wasn't expecting people to have that much trouble with the question. But yes, the answer is Majora's Mask. With the biggest wallet you can only carry 500 Rupees, but you can deposit up to 5499 Rupees in the bank. So even if you can't actually carry over 999 Rupees, you can still get over 999 Rupees. As away. ^_^
Originally posted by K.K.C. What an insult to the Zelda games.
I couldn't have said it better myself. The people that did the cut scene graphics on those games need some serious help... By which I mean large, blunt objects hitting their skulls at high velocity. :whoops: Anyway, now that we've all seen the craptacular graphics of the CD-i games, I think it's time to close this thread since it's attracting what is basically the same post over and over again. And now, let us never speak of the horrors contained in this thread again. :cross: Thread Closed

I've heard the song, but I haven't seen the video with it. Could you post a link to it, maybe, if you know where to find it? The song isn't by Weird Al, though, it's just commonly mistaken for a Weird Al song. It's actually by a group called They Might Be Giants. By the way, this is my first post ever in the whole anime section of OB. Whee. :whoops:
Originally posted by Juuthena I take that back. That's my favorite one! I love the font on that last one, since it blends in with the whole theme. I really like that fish on the far right, too. It's cute. ^ .^ 9/10.
Heh, when I went to choose a font, that one was the last font I had used (on Kevin's banner, actually). So when it came up I was like, "Hey, that's perfect!" when I saw it, and I just went with it. I think it works pretty good with the rest of the banner, too. This was one of the few times where I didn't spend about 20 minutes to a half an hour just trying to find a good font and font colors. :cross: And yeah, the reason I didn't put Laruto in there is because she's a sage of the Earth Temple. I don't know why, since she's a Zora, but whatever... (Personally, I think it'd make more sense if Laruto was the sage of the Wind Temple and Fado was the sage of the Earth Temple). Hey, I just realized something. Except for the Forest one, I used the same background picture for all of the banners, just different parts of it at different sizes. Weird.

Nope, it's not the Game Boy Advance. While the GBA is a 32-bit system, it's not Nintendo's first 32-bit system. Try again. :)

As you can see, I made another one. (I also added it to my first post). I don't like it quite as much as the other three, but I think it turned out okay. Edit: Yeah, I noticed it was a bit pixelated too, but I wasn't sure what to do about it. (It resulted from making the pic smaller). I tried using a different program to resize it, though, and it came out a little better. I replaced the old version of the banner, so it should look better now.

Answer: His name is Knuckle, he's blue, and you find him by walking around on the beach on Outset Island while using the Tingle Tuner. After you do everything he says, you can go and see him at Tingle Island, down on the ground. Question: What was the first game in the series to let you get over 999 Rupees?

Also, don't put spaces between the tags and the text you want to be colored. I think that can mess it up.
Originally posted by Gamemaster7654 Yes, I would hook it up, send my save data of Pokemon Sapphire to the computer, download and run it on a rom, then use the Viusal Gameboy Emulator to open one of my ports to link to another player.
In that case, then yes, it would be illegal because you'd be using a ROM. And, as such, I'm afraid I'll have to close this thread since you're basically asking if people would want to join you in an illegal act. Sorry. Answer: You get Fire Arrows by shooting the rising sun with a normal arrow, while standing on that little monument thing that's out on the island in the middle of Lake Hylia. Question: In The Wind Waker, which two real life star constellations can be seen in the night sky?

Sorry, but introduction threads aren't allowed here. We used to have an introduction forum, but it got really spammy, so it was deleted and intro threads haven't been allowed since. Feel free to introduce yourself around on the board with a side note in other posts, though. :) Thread Closed

Um, everything has a life meter in Metroid Prime. You just have to scan the enemy/boss to see it. :whoops: Answer: You fight the Flaagra first, in the Sun Chamber, then Thardus in the Quarantine Bay (not sure on that name, but it's something like that), then you fight the Omega Pirate in the Omega Quarters, then you fight Meta Ridley in the Chozo Temple (not sure if that's the exact name, but that's the general location), and then you finally fight Metroid Prime down in the Phazon Core, I think it's called. I know some of those aren't exact, but I think that's pretty good for going completely off of memory after not having played for at least four months. :) Question: What was Nintendo's first 32-bit game system?
-
Um...what exactly are you talking about? Do you mean hook up your GBA to your PC somehow to battle over the internet or something like that? Or do you mean use an emulator and ROMs? In the first case, I don't think it'd be illegal, but if you're going to be using ROMs, then it would.

Yep, that's correct. Ask away. :)
Originally posted by GinnyLyn That makes eight people! *hugs Desbreko* Hi! Hmmm....gimme a while to find Cecil avies. I don't know if I will be able to.
Hello to you too. :toothy: And good luck finding Cecil avatars, heh. Other than sprites from the game (which I already have, as you can see from the pics I posted), there isn't much out there besides one official artwork pic of him. (Though I don't think that one is very good--it makes him look a lot older than he seems in the game). If I were to use an avatar of him, though, I'd just use the menu screen pic which I posted. Heh, maybe someone should play as Rosa from FFIV. Get a little love action going between her and Cecil, heheh. :naughty:

Hmm, Red Dragon... Well, use your most powerful summons and spells (besides fire, obviously), and just generally beat it down. I think you should just have gotten the Bahamut summon, so that should help. Titan is another good one, though I wouldn't recommend Kjata, since the fire part of it will heal the dragon. This is really a pretty straightforward fight, so just keep beating away and healing when you need to. You might also use your most powerful Bio spell, too, to poison it, though Demi doesn't work on it. As for Demon's Gate, cast Slow on it as soon as you can. Then cast Haste and Barrier on yourself. (If you've gotten the enemy skill Big Guard, use that). Also, you might want to cast Regen on the party if you have it, though don't bother trying to poison the Gate since it's immune. Try to keep your HP up to at least 1000 at all times by healing fairly often, along with Regen, and you may need a few Softs if the Gate petrifies a party member or two. After that, just keep beating on it with your most powerful attacks, summons, spells, limit breaks, whatever you've got, and just keep healing.
