Heh, Ginny got it. Siren in the japanese version of FFVI has her butt showing, lol. (Though really all they did for the US version was recolor part of the sprite). :p US version: Japanese version: Also, I just remembered, but one of the dancing girls in FFIV also takes it off in the japanese version. Not sure on exactly how much it shows, but it is just a little sprite, heh.

Lets see if I can remember. I always have trouble with the middle ones for things like this. I always know what it starts and ends as, but I don't remember what's in between so well. :cross: Answer: Green means you can hold 200, blue means you can hold 1,000, and red means you can hold 5,000. Pretty sure that's right, so I'll go ahead and ask one: Question: In The Wind Waker, what's painted on the side of Aryll's Telescope?

Yeah, Nintendo's stuff has always been able to take quite a beating and still work decently. I've heard about a GBC getting dropped from five stories up onto cement and still working. Anyway, I've played quite a bit since cleaning out my system and system house, and I haven't had an error since, so I think that fixed it. I suppose I really should clean the dust out from around my systems more often anyway, so this'll provide some incentive to get off my butt and do it, heh.

Hmm, sure, why not? Might as well post up my latest desktop. It's highly Zelda themed, as you might expect from me. I've even got custom Zelda icons for all but four of my shortcuts, heh. The wallpaper started out as one off Zelda.com, but then I cut out a couple more of the window pics from two other wallpapers and stuck them in there too. Those are my three favorite window pics, and I got my avatar from the Wind Waker one on the left. :) (It's been resized from 1024x768 to 800x600, and the quality took a hit when I compressed it to get it down below 100 KB, by the way). Oh, and Cyko, can I get a copy of that cool Metroid Fusion wallpaper? That's about the best MF wallpaper I've seen.

Dude, that's just...just... Totally screwed up is the only way I can think of to describe it. I love it. I'm going to save it forever. "KEVIN SMASH!" :toothy:

Writing The Legend of Zelda: Heart of a Dragon
Desbreko replied to Sheikahmon's topic in Creative Works
Hmm, pretty good, but there's just one thing... The Three Goddesses probably wouldn't interfere for something that small. The only time they ever interfered in the games was when the whole land was in danger of being destroyed by Ganon. And that's the whole land, everyone and everything, not just one species. But whatever, it doesn't really matter, since you can do whatever you want with the story. I just like to nitpick stuff like this, heh. :toothy: Overall, it's not bad. You should keep writing. :) -
Hmm, guess I'll give this a shot. I should have time to post pretty regularly now. Anyway, if no one else is going to be a character from one of the classics, I will. Cecil is still one of my favorites out of any of the main characters from the games. Character Name: Cecil Game: Final Fantasy IV Bio: Cecil was a dark knight working for the king of Baron (Baron was one of the larger nations in the world) as the commander of the Red Wings, Baron's fleet of airships. When the king started having him steal the crystals, he questioned the king's motives, which got him relieved of his command. After being sent off to the town of Mist to deliver a package with his friend Kain, he learned that the king's plot to steal the crystals went much deeper than he ever thought. (In fact, it was deeper than he thought then, too; he learned how deep in really went quite a bit later). During his quest to stop Golbez from getting all of the crystals (the king of Baron had been manipulated by Golbez) Cecil became a paladin, casting off his darkness in exchange for the light, for only one of light could defeat darkness. With this change came not only more power, but also the ability to use some of the weaker white magic spells. (The highest he gets is Cure 2). After fighting Golbez (multiple times), he learns the true nature of the plot. (Major spoilers about the plot of FFIV here, so I'm blacking them out for those who don't want to know).
Golbez was not even an enemy. It turned out that the Lunarians, a race far ahead of the humans technologically, had come to earth in search of a new planet. Finding the humans already there, they decided to wait until the time came when they could make contact without the humans panicking, so they settled themself on one of earths moons until the right time came to make contact. One of the Lunarians, however, was hostile and wanted to wipe out the humans and simply take the planet. His name was Zemus and he ended up having to be sealed away in a deep hibernation down in the moons core. Over time, however, Zemus begain to wake, and was able to use his power to control some of those on earth; Golbez was one of them. Cecil, with the help of some friends, traveled to the moon in a ship called the Big Whale, which was left on earth by the Lunarians. There he learned of Zemus and the Lunarians, and eventually descended to the core of the moon and defeated Zemus.
Personality-wise, Cecil is a bit on the quite side, but very determined. He has a strong sense of right and wrong, and he always protects his friends and those that can't protect themselves. Right, guess I'll ask one, then. Question: Which FF game has explicit nudity in it?
-
Well, from the sound of what I've read about it, FLS is pretty much just making up what they think happened, besides the bits that it told about in FFVI. I don't think Square is really having anything to do with it.
-
Well, I did say, "Without the use of magic or another item besides the sword itself," in my original question. The Great Fairy's Sword is an item. Answer: All of them but Makar and Hollo go off to plant the sprouts. Makar is practicing on his little leaf cello when you find him, and then you take him to the Wind Temple later. Hollo runs the potion shop in Forest Haven. And I could probably name off all the islands that the other eight are on, but I don't remember which are on which islands. Question: Where in The Wind Waker do you have to use a Hyoi Pear to control a seagull, and what do you use the seagull for?
-
This looks like it could actually turn out to be something that's pretty good. I'll have to keep an eye on this.
-
Yeah, except that the Great Fairy's Sword is technically an item and not a real sword, since you use it with the C buttons and not the sword button (B button). So that's using an item, not a sword, meaning it doesn't count for my question.
-
That banner...it makes me go... o_0 I can't think of anything else to say about it, really. It's just...*makes random hand gestures* ...yeah. *walks away still going o_0*
-
Yeah, there's an Event Match in SSBM where you have to defeat 128 little Marios, but that's totally separate from Super Mario 128.
-
Well, I forget exactly what is says, but the clue it gives you basically tells you to use the Parry command. If you just keep doing Parry, and not actually fight at all, you'll end up winning. So, um, will you take that, or are you looking for specifically what it says?
-
Um, that's pretty much impossible to know unless you actually go back and beat each game and write down the credits for each one. And when asking a question, you need to know the answer, so as to be able to say whether someone's answer is correct or not. And I really doubt anyone here knows the answer to that question. And you also have to ask questions in turn, meaning that you can only ask a question after answering one. Otherwise, there'd be tons of questions floating around and it'd be really confusing. So, yeah, if you want to ask one you'll need to answer one first. I'll try and ask some that are a little easier, though. Like Ginny said, though, a lot of questions have been asked so it's getting harder and harder to not repeat questions without asking rather obscure ones.

If you're talking about another game by using it as an example of what you mean, that's fine, but the main subject of the post should be about Kingdom Hearts 2. It's just the posts that were pretty much, if not totally, just about the original Kingdom Hearts that were off topic. Nah, if someone does that, we can just close the topic :) -Break
-
Because that would be, um, too easy, lol. Pretty much anyone that knows anything about Zelda would know that. With the more difficult ones, you really have to try hard to remember things. And that's what makes it fun. ^_^ As for the question about the Koroks, I'll have to get back to you on that. If no one else has answered it by then, anyway.
-
It's okay, as long as you remember not to do it again. Really, it's nice to deal with someone that actually listens and learns. Having to send out warnings to spammers that you pretty much know are going to ignore you gets old really fast. :cross:
-
Um, one word posts are pretty much considered spam, so you'll probably want to try and say a little more than that in the future. Even just something like "No, you don't get anything else, I just like doing it." Oh, and if you haven't already, you'll probably want to read the rules. It tells all about stuff like this.

Answer: He rides up on the King of Red Lions' head, sort of in between its horns. And I believe he faces back towards you, though I'm not entirely sure on that. Question: In The Wind Waker, how many squares of your Sea Chart do you have to have filled in, and which one(s) are they?
-
Lol, do you get anything for gathering them all up again after you've already gotten the Bottle?
-
Answer: You can fight either Joelle or Beth first, actually, though you'll normally fight Joelle first. (You see Joelle in the paintings first, too). Joelle is red, and Beth is blue. Next you fight Amy, who's green, and then Meg, who's purple. Question: In The Wind Waker, there are symbols on Din's Pearl, Farore's Pearl, and Nayru's Pearl. In which game did those symbols originally appear in, and on what items?
-
Just go back to Outset Island after you beat the Forbidden Woods, and go up to that pen where you put those three pigs that you gathered up at the beginning of the game. Instead of three small pigs, there's just one giant one. If you didn't gather up the three small pigs at the beginning it probably won't be there, though.

You have to get the dungeon ones in LTP, actually. The Pendants/Crystals won't appear until you get them. Ginny got it right, though, it's 13. You start with three, and you have to get ten more from dungeons. You don't have to get the one in the Sanctuary or any Heart Container Pieces.
