2. Answer: That's kind of a hard question to answer, really. The Adventure of Link is kind of an action/adventure/platformer/RPG game. You've obviously got the action from all the fighting, adventure from the puzzles and exploring, platformer from the side view mixed with all the jumping action, and RPG from getting experience points and going up levels, talking to people in towns and helping them out, and stuff like that. So, um, will you take that? It doesn't really fit into a single genre, which is why it's hard to answer.
3.
Originally posted by Syk3 Fastest selling console ever? Since when? lol Combined with the GBA, it only racks up around half as much as PlayStation 2. I think we've discussed this before...
Fastest selling isn't the same as most sold. And I'm pretty sure it's the GBA that holds that title, anyway, not the GCN. I think the GBA sold around 500,000 in about a week.
4. Lol, yeah, that's it. One of the funnier moments in the game, I think. :p
5. Bah, I probably won't be able to get it for about a week after it comes out. My brother owes me $50, which would give me more than enough money to get it (got $20 now), but he lives about four hours away, so it's kind of hard for him to pay me unless he comes up to visit on a weekend. Maybe I can get a loan from someone until he's able to pay me. Actually, it seems more like those three games were the only ones with the good, but kind of not good endings, I think. The first one, you rescue Zelda and everybody is happy again. (Haven't beaten the second, so I can't say about it, though). A Link to the Past, you ruscue Zelda and restore the Dark World to the Golden Land, and everyone is happy again. The Oracle games, yeah, it is that way for an unlinked game, but if you play a linked game and beat Ganon, it's all good. Four Swords, everything pretty much goes back to how it was and, yes, everyone is happy again. Maybe the writers were depressed when they wrote the story/endings for those games. :p
6.
Originally posted by GinnyLyn HEY! Quit that! Heh, people tried to steal poor Kaito when s/he first came out too. (see below)
Yeah, if anyone is going to steal Breko, it'd be me, heh. (Not that I'd have to, but hey). :D And is it just me, or do those look a lot like the Eevee evolutions from Pokémon? Just sort of...well...different, but the same. :cross: They look good, though.
7. You got the part about the arguing and all that right, you just messed up on the hundreds place digit. Try again, you're close. :)
8. Yes, the Temple of the Ancients is a bit south, and a bit west of Fort Condor. And yeah, it looks kind of like a pyramid. Well, it's not exactly a whirlpool, but there are little animations for quicksand when you look at the desert from the overworld. But yeah, that big golden thing in the middle of the desert is the Gold Saucer, which you can only get to by using the ferry thing in North Corel.
9. Yep, you're right. He can't block Navi while he's stunned from being hit with a Light Arrow, so you can target during that time. Answer: They're light brown with blackish-brown manes and black tails. Question: In OOT, how old do Koume and Kotake claim to be? Edit: Nope, it's not 450.
10. Ooo, Breko is turning out good! I really like others, too, especially Yuchi. It actually does remind me of you, Ginny, when I see it. (Is that good or bad?) :toothy:
11. Hiachi got it right, the original Game Boy is 8-bit, same as the NES. :)
12. I merged your thread with the "FF7 help" thread, since this is still a question about FFVII. If anyone replies (I might, actually, if I can remember everything about the ending), please use
tags!
13. There's already a thread about a GCN Pokémon game, which you can find here. And to get your Pokémon from Ruby/Sapphire onto the GCN game, you'd probably have to use a GCN - GBA Link Cable. Thread Closed

Derek woke up slowly from his unconscious state. As his eyes opened and took in his surroundings, he instinctively reached for his gun. He was in his plane, crashed, and surrounded by a deep, thick fog. Looking behind him into the passenger compartment, he saw his two passengers...dead. This was exactly the reason why he always strapped himself in throughout the whole flight. With his revolver in his right hand, he used his left to undo the straps holding him in the pilot's chair. Taking a few hunched steps towards the back of the plane, he reached for the door handle. When it didn't move, he kicked out the door, and stepped out into the fog. It was cold--it shouldn't be this cold. Something is wrong, Derek thought, as he checked himself over for any injuries from the crash. Aside from a few scrapes and bruises, Derek found himself uninjured. Next, checking his equipment, he found everything in order. Gun, knife, and and some spare bullets. And, from the growling he could hear in the distance, it sounded as if he'd need them. He left his plane, which was completely totalled, and started walking in the direction he had been flying. He had no idea where he was, but it was as good a direction as any at the moment. As he walked, it seemed to get colder, and the fog denser. A couple times he even thought he saw a snowflake. Something really was wrong, and Derek was heading straight for the middle of it.
15. You have to use the Tiny Bronco to get to the island, and then get out on one of the beaches and walk a little ways to the Temple of the Ancients.
16. 1) What do you collect? I collect anything and everything that has to do with the Legend of Zelda series. That includes the games, merchandise, all manner of things on my PC such as screen shots, movies, sprites, interviews of people that've worked on the games, even scans of some of the player's guides, which were on zelda.com for a while. (The size of my "The Legend of Zelda" folder is currently...*checks*...666 MB). o_0 2) How much of the item(s) do you have? Almost all the games (missing two of the CD-i games and the Game & Watch game), and some of the merchandise. I'd have more if I wasn't always so short on money from buying games, heh. 3) What is your favorite out of all the items? My favorite would have to be my copy of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past/Four Swords for the Game Boy Advance. I love that game. ^_^ 4) How long have you been collecting it/them? Ever since November 1998, when I first really got into the Zelda series after buying Zelda: Ocarina of Time and beating it. After I beat it, I wanted more, so I got some of the older games, such as A Link to the Past and Link's Awakening. From there, I just kept getting more and more stuff.
17. We have a Zelda quiz for the Zelda questions, you know. Answer: You steal something out of the shop in Mabe Village. To do this, you pick up the item and carry it back behind the shop keeper. Then, when he turns and looks away, you run out the door while still holding the item. Question: What is the bit rate of the original Game Boy?

Hmm, seems that during the merge, the name of the thread got changed, and it got unstuck... *fixes it* :) And yes, thanks for the link. *looks through list*
19. Yes, I do. :D It's on a large island just south and a bit west of the big eastern continent with Midgar on it. There'll be a forest, which it's in the middle of, with some mountains on the northeast side of the island. It's kind of hard to see while you're in the Tiny Bronco, though, if you can see it at all. (I'm not sure if you can, it's been a while). Hope that helps. :)
20. Wait a minute... *goes and checks the art again* Gah, sorry, it is three. It starts out with six, and gains three, to get up to nine. For some reason I was thinking two, though. >_< Sorry about that. Go ahead and ask, BigCajones.

Name: Derek Larson Age: 30 Description: Around 6'1" and about 160 pounds, Derek isn't especially muscular, but he's fairly strong. He has rough, weathered features, and usually has some stubble on his chin from not shaving. He wears black jeans, a loose fitting navy blue t-shirt with a black bomber style leather jacket over it, sturdy black leather boots, and a thick wool felt hat with a wide brim, under which is kept short, unruly dark brown hair. He also wears a gun holster with a Colt Python 357 magnum revolver secured within it, which he wears concealed under his jacket, along with a 6" double edged hunting knife kept in a boot sheath. Personality: Derek is serious, level headed, and always keeps his cool. Even in the most dangerous of situations, he doesn't panic, he just does what he has to do with a cold, determined attitude. He has no qualms about killing someone if it means getting the job done, whatever that may be, and won't stop until he finishes it. After graduating from high school with average grades, Derek learned to fly, and at the age of 20, joined the airforce. Cited many times for going above and beyond the call of duty, he always took the risks no one else would. During this time, Derek learned to not fear death, having many close calls, and being severly injured on several occasions. As a result of one such occasion, he has a slight limp in his right leg. He can still walk, and even run, normally, though, it's just painful to do so. After serving in the airforce for eight years, Derek resigned, and moved to Chicago. He met a girl, Sharon, got merried, and bought a small plane with the money he had saved during his eight years in the airforce. Working as a private pilot, flying people all over the country, he was enjoying life. He was enjoying life, that is, until one day, the day after his thirtieth birthday, he took a job flying a couple to Seattle. Something went wrong, and his plane started to go down. Hitting a large fog bank, he couldn't see where he was going, and slammed down on a hillside. Miraculously, he survived practically uninjured, but was knocked unconscious upon impact.
22. Hmm, that's weird. Maybe Seal Evil works on more things than the spell Stop, because I'm pretty sure that the spell doesn't work.
23. Right, here's an update of which chess pieces I don't have. I've gotten all of the Modern series now. Black Queen Black Knight White Bishop White Rook If anyone has any of these, I'm willing to trade anything that I can order out of my catalog. (Which has a pretty good amount of stuff in it. If you're signed up on www.accentral.net you can see what all is in it).
24. Nope, still not right. :D
25. Nope, it's not four. Try again.
