Heh, if you really want to have some fun, grin and wave at the kids as the family walks by. :p Well, I wear my hair long in a ponytail, and I've gotten a few looks. I just think it's funny, though. The only problem is that if someone only sees me from behind, they can mistake me for a girl, lol. :cross: Personally, tattoos, piercings, dying your hair, dressing however, is all fine by me. It's the way that you act that matters, not your outward appearance. If someone doesn't like me because of my outward appearance, I don't think they're worth knowing.
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel Really, it just makes the game easier... unless whoever is on the GBA likes dropping bombs on Link heh.
*evil grin* I'm gonna have to play as Tingle when my friend is playing on his game, heheh. Oh, and I also read in Nintendo Power, I think it was, that you can buy Tingle Potions, which restore hearts, magic power, or both (pretty much just like Red, Green, and Blue Potions). I think that would be the main thing that'd make the game easier, if you can buy potions while you're in dungeons. Personally, I like being able to link the GCN with the GBA. (Of course, I have a GCN, GBA, and a GCN-GBA Link Cable). I'm looking forward to all the cool new features it's going to make available. :)

*quietly goes off to erase my brother's Sonic Adventure 2: Battle save to make room for my Wind Waker save* :toothy: He never plays it any more, and I'm going to return it to my friend in a little while anyway. :p I like the packaging. I always have liked the gold background with the logo on it, especially when the gold part is actually shiny, heh. And I like the gold game disc, too. I can't wait to hold it in my hands. It's like there's something magical about getting a new Zelda game. :D

Don't bother with Aeris' Seal Evil Limit Break, since the Materia Keeper can't be stopped (though it can be silenced). You'd probably be better off using Healing Wind, if you're still on her level 1 limits. If you have her second level 2 limit, that'd be handy, since it fills the other two characters' limit bars. (Though you usually don't get her second level 2 limit that early in the game).
Originally posted by Nefertimon Ahhhhh! Once again, I can't post three pictures in the same thread! Oh well... just forgive me if I triple-post, OK?
Sorry, but double and triple posting is against the rules, and just because you want to show multiple images doesn't make it all right to triple post. *deletes posts* Since I'm nice, though, I combined the three pictures into one, and attached that to your first post. I suggest you just do that from now on whenever you want to post multiple pictures. :)

This has kinda been done before, but not all at once. It was either for Link's Awakening, or for another game, but never for all of them, I don't think. Whatever, though, heh. Answer: Right, a complete list of Mario enemies in Zelda games...there's a lot more than those three. (Not to mention that the Anti-Kirbies in LA aren't Mario enemies). A Link to the Past - Chain Chomps Link's Awakening - Goombas, Pokies, Mask-Mimics (they look exactly like Shy Guys), Piranha Plants, Boo Buddies, Bombites (kind of like Bob-Ombs), Cheep-Sheeps (look exactly like Cheep Cheeps), Bloobers (look exactly like Bloopers), and various types of Thomps. Hmm, I think that's all of them. Some of these may be repeated in the Oracle games, too (like the Thomps). I don't think there are any in OOT or MM. Question: In OOT, what do you have to do during the fight with Ganondorf to make it so you can use targeting with Navi?

I think you have to use a Mystery Seed on one of the Cuccos in Malon and Talon's house to do that. Not quite sure, though.

1. Link, from the Legend of Zelda series. (Like we all didn't see that one coming :p). 2. I never quite know exactly what's going on, though I try to find out, and I'm always ready to go out of my way to help someone or fix something. And, if I ever get the money, I'll get good with an ocarina. :) 3. If I don't tie my hair back, yes, very much so.

You can have it, BigCajones. The only reason I remembered Arbok was because I saw you post with Ekans, heh... That, and I'm not too good at thinking of Pokémon questions. :shifty:
Originally posted by Rei I would like to know what happens to the other 5 of Ash's pokemon, why would he start over with just Pikachu?
He probably sent them back to Prof. Oak to store them, so that he can use some of the new Pokémon in Hoenn. Bleh, hearing about this new season makes me want to watch it. Too bad I don't get the WB station without cable...which I don't have. >_< Guess I'll have to buy the episodes on tape if I want to watch them, like I did with most of season one.

Correct! Ask a question. :)

Answer: The original sword button in the original Ocarina of Time on the N64 is green, to go along with the green B button. On Master Quest and the OOT remake on the GCN bonus disc, it's red, to go along with the red B button. Ooo, I just had a really good question earlier today, and now I can't remember it! Gah! *bangs head on desk, and settles for a different question* ... *gets distracted by an IM chat, and forgets the new question* :twitch: *finally remembers question again* Question: How many different types of Deku Scrubs are there in Ocarina of Time, and what is each type called?
Originally posted by Saywha The new zelda graphics arent the same style as the older N64 games, and i think that they should have stayed with the old format. I think links head is way to large. Im guessing that the new zelda game isnt going to be as popular as the older ones.
Heh, judging by the pre-orders (take a look at this thread), it looks like it's going to be just as popular as the older games, or more. Just give the game a try when it comes out, and you may be surprised how well the new style works. When I first saw the new style, I didn't like it, either, but as time went by and I saw more and more screen shots (and especially movies), I saw that the new style actually looks really good. Especially the animation. And by the way, welcome to OtakuBoards. It's always nice to get more members that are active in the Zelda forum. :)
Originally posted by GinnyLyn Because they go through walls to get at you? (OK OK, so you're getting me back for the Skulltula question. ;))
Wherever did you get that idea? :shifty: And that answer is close enough. They're called Wallmasters because, in the original, they come out of the walls and crawl at you. Then in A Link to the Past, they were called Clutches, since they dropped from the ceiling instead of coming out of the walls. But then in Ocarina of Time, they went back to calling them Wallmasters, but kept the dropping from the ceiling part. And there you have the history of the Wallmaster. Now ask a question, Ginny. :p
Originally posted by chaos_79 they might hopefully.I want them to put some more ff characters also.
Your spelling seems to be okay, but your punctuation is, like, almost non-existent... Which makes your posts kind of hard to read. You should really try to fix that. (And by the way, periods don't take the place of spaces. :toothy:) Also, it might help if you wrote more than a couple sentences. Really short posts are usually spammy.
-
The ceiling is the ceiling, not a wall. That's why it's called the ceiling, and not just another wall. o_0 But no, neither of those is right. (Though Eterah's came close, the main part of the answer was wrong). Heh, this is such an easy question if you've played the original The Legend of Zelda. If not, it's a dang hard one. :p
Originally posted by Lady Katana Actually, it doesn't matter what it's SA is, because Water moves are considered Physical Attacks and draw from the Attack score. ^_~ Shocked me when I first found that out. Oo
Um...no they don't. o_0 At least in Gold and Silver, they don't. Just look at this type chart. White types are normal, and yellow types are special. (Obviously, since normal, fighting, ground, and rock are all white).

Yeah, it's lines in the little signature box where you edit your sig, not lines on the actual posts, right? But yeah, 8 lines is plenty. And for people putting poems in sigs, they should just use slashes to indicate where one line stops and another starts. That's actually the grammatically correct way to write a poem/song down without using actual line breaks (I'm pretty sure), and it would save so much space.
-
There's also Arbok, with is cobra spelled backwards and with a "k" instead of a "c." Is that what you're looking for?
-
Bleh, I don't like the clothes that the male trainer wears in R/S. Really, Ash was the only trainer that I liked the look of, besides your rival in G/S/C. And I liked Ash's hat. :(
-
Nope. if you look, they fly straight back up to the ceiling after dropping.
-
Yeah, it is, but if the attack is super effective, it'll still do a decent amount of damage. I think it'd probably be better than an attack that's only doing normal damage.
-
You said Skulltula, not Gold Skulltula! I was looking at pics of regular Skulltulas that whole time, when I could have just looked at my pic of a Gold Skulltula right at first! Grumble, Grumble... :grumble: Bah... Question: Why are Wallmasters called Wallmasters, even though they drop from the ceiling?
