1. It is still just rumors, but I've heard that Nintendo is making two Pokémon games for the GCN, one a Stadium type game and the other an RPG. Hopefully that's true. Nintendo has done a pretty good job of giving the fans what they want, though. They have or are in the process of giving us sequels in pretty much all of their famous franchises. We're also getting more mature games, like James mentioned. And, we got not only a 3D Metroid game, which people have been asking for, but we also got a new 2D Metroid game, too. I think that's pretty dang good. So far, I'm very happy with what Nintendo has been producing on the GCN and GBA. The N64 was a bit lacking in the number of good games, but Nintendo's first and second party games were still excellent.
2. I think it's time for someone to just ask another question, since it looks like no one knows the answer to the current one.
3. Nope, Floormasters are related to Wallmasters, but they're not the same thing. Floormasters crawl around on the floor and lunge at you, instead of dropping from the ceiling and carrying you back to the entrance of the dungeon.
4. When the bell finally rang, announcing the end of class, Raifus slowly got up from his chair, and stumbled down the hall to the men's restroom. Grabbing some paper towels, he wet them in a sink, and buried his burning face in them. Raifus: Aaahhhhh... His face had felt like it was on fire for the entire class, and the cold water felt incredibly good. After about a minute of holding the cool paper towels to his face, he turned to exit the restroom, and slipped on the small puddle of water on the floor. Flailing his arms and legs in mid-fall, he opened his eyes to find his face half an inch from the floor. His arms were stretched, palms down, holding himself up from the floor, and his feet out, up against the counter containing the row of sinks, wedging himself between counter and floor. Needless to say, it was a rather awkward position, and made all the more so when another student walked in the door. Student: Don't tell me, 'cause I don't want to know. Standing up quickly, Raifus hurried out the door, and to the locker room to change for PE. After changing into his dark green shorts and light knit, white t-shirt, he made his way out to the field. It was soccer today. Raifus didn't particularly mind soccer, but he didn't like being a forward; people always seemed to do bank shots off of him, and getting hit with a fast-moving soccer ball in the wrong place could hurt.
5.
Originally posted by James Plus, Nintendo has said that first party online games will be played free of charge.
Which will be very nice for those of us without too much money. ^_^ But yeah, anyone remember that port on the bottom of the NES? Wasn't that possibly going to be used for some kind of modem? And then there was the Satellaview for the SNES, which was actually released, though only in Japan. Then there was also going to be a modem cartridge to go along with the 64DD, though that never took off. So, yeah, Nintendo has a lot of experience with online gaming. They know what they're doing, and they're not going to risk losing a lot of money by rushing into online gaming with the GCN.
6. Answer: If you throw something in after you get Quake, you get a bomb chucked at you, heh. Question: What is another name for Wallmasters? (As in, what other name are they sometimes called by?)
7. Heh, yeah, and after you beat the Golden Key Quest, you get to do the Hero Key Quest. It can be hard to collect 5000 Rupees in the dungeons, depending on how many people you're playing with. Me and a friend tried one of the dungeons three times, I think, and we couldn't do it. Then we did it first try with another friend, so that we had three people. :whoops: You're right, though, Four Swords just never seems to get old, since the dungeons change each time. I've played through the whole game, through the Silver, Gold, and Hero Key Quests, and I still enjoy playing whenever I get the chance. I've also seen most, if not all, of the dungeon "building blocks," but since they're always arranged differently, and in different combinations, it seems almost like an entirely new dungeon. My favorite dungeon has to be Vaati's Palace on the Hero Key Quest. It consists of 12 levels! It's like you go through each of the other dungeons, bosses included, and then through Vaati's Palace itself. The only thing is, you have to have a decent amount of time on your hands to get through it, since it's so long. I still haven't been able to play four player, though, since only two of my friends have the game. Three player is still awesome, though I've only gotten to play it a few times. Mostly I just play two player. I want to try four player, though, dangit! :twitch:
8. After the pain of getting hit in the face with a rather large book at high velocity subsided, Raifus was able to look up and see where and who the book, and apology, had come from. He saw a girl on the other side of the room smiling a bit nervously. Bad way to start the day, Raifus thinks as he tosses the book back. And, even though he wasn't good at throwing and the girl didn't seem to be too good at catching, either, those two factors somehow came together, ending with the book landing safely in her arms. Hey, my face is all red from getting hit with that book, now! My ears actually match, and no one will notice them now! So, throughout the class, Raifus sat, not worrying about having to sit in the front of the class. Still, his face hurt--a lot--and he sat trying not to grimace from the pain. And, to keep himself from doing just that, he forced a look of interest and attention onto his face, as he stared at the teacher and chalk board. Really, he was listening, and he was somewhat interested... It's just that his face hurt--a lot. Yes, definitely not a good way to start the day, he thinks, as he takes a moment to glance over at the girl who had "dropped" the book. As she notices him, he quickly turnes his attention back to the teacher. He could tell his ears were starting to turn red again, but he didn't care. Hah! Go ahead and turn as red as you like! ...But dang, my face hurts so bad!

Could you try and put a little more content in your posts, Bouncer? There hasn't been all that much to most of them that I've seen.
10. Yeah, they were so pure, that they were isolated from the outside world by the cocoons. Go ahead and ask.
11. Standing up from his chair in the back of the auditorium, Raifus ended up falling backwards over it. A few seconds later, he was a bit surprised to realize that he had flipped completely around while falling over the back of the chair, landed on his feet, and had started heading to his class. That is, anyway, until the crowd of other students caught up with him. Amid the jumble of students, he made his way through the crowded halls, until he came to door. Walking in, he sat down in a chair in the far, back corner--and then realized he was in the wrong classroom. Getting up once again, he managed to keep from falling over the chair. Instead, he just forgot to turn the doornob, what with all the funny looks from the other students, and smacked straight into the door, before finally opening it and going out and finding the right classroom in the now empty halls. Walking into his class, he came through the door just as the teacher called out his name, taking roll for the day. Teacher: Ah, Raifus, I presume? Raifus: Um, yeah, that's me. Sitting down in a chair near the front of the room, the ones in the back having all already been taken, Raifus waited while the teacher finished taking roll. Sitting in the front always made him nervous, and the tips of his ears started to turn a faint red. Raifus could tell they were starting to turn red, and knowing this made him think that people would notice. And, knowing this made him even more nervous, and in turn, that made his ears all the more red. It was a downward spiral, doomed to eventually hit bottom. This, Raifus also knew, but he tried not to think about it.

Moved this to Suggestions & Feedback. But yeah, you'll need to have the picture up on the net somewhere first. Then just put [img][/img] with the URL of the picture in between the two tags.
13. I like dark blue/purple/black, and that sort of color scheme, so I go with the v6 skin. It's even better than the v4 skin was! (Yes, v4 is actually my second favorite out of the ones I've seen since v3). Liquid and Industrial just seem way too light to me. I can't wait for the Zelda one, though. I'll definitely be using it, when it's ready!
14. I really do hope that they either lengthen the time limit, or do away with it all together. I probably would've liked Pikmin, except the time limit for each day was just way too short. It made me feel like I have to rush all the time, and I absolutely hate that. The two-player option could be fun. One of my friends has the original Pikmin, so maybe he'll get this one, too. Then me and him could play together. I think that would help with the time limit thing, too, since you'd have two people doing things at the same time.
15. Yeah, I think I remember hearing that Miyamoto said a while ago that he might be interested in working on a game together with Yuji Naka, though there were no plans. I wouldn't think it would be all that hard for Nintendo to get a deal with Sonic Team either, but who knows?
16. Umm...the 56K modem and broadband adapter are already out for the GCN. It's just that the only game for the GCN that supports online play is PSO. There's no such thing as "GameCube online," it's just that no one besides Sega has made any online games for the GCN yet.
17. Yeah, but that's Amusement Vision, not Sonic Team, that Nintendo is working with on the new F-Zero. Nintendo would have to make a deal with Sonic Team to have Sonic in an SSB game, since Sonic Team owns the rights to the Sonic the Hedgehog character. Still, Sonic is probably the most likely of any non-Nintendo character making it into an SSB game. And it would be very cool to be able to play as Sonic vs. Mario, heh. Edit: *realizes there are two threads about ideas for a new SSB, and merges them*
18. *cough* ... *points at the "2" in the title* Can we try and keep this a little more on the subject of the sequel, and a little less on the original? There's already a thread about the original Kingdom Hearts. A quite large one, at that.
19. Looks like another must buy for me, lol. I remember hearing about this a long time ago, around when this thread was originally made. I didn't know much about FF Adventure, though, so I didn't really have much of an idea of what this game actually was. I'm really looking forward to it now, though. Anyone know if the release date has been announced, and if so, what is it?
20. Uh...you're magic meter is always green, even after the 1/2 Magic upgrade... But yeah, it takes the whole thing, normally, without the upgrade. Answer: The Book of Mudora is green, with a gold picture of the Triforce on the cover, along with some gold text. Question: According to the A Link to the Past that ran in Nintendo Power, why were the seven maidens encased in crystal cocoons in the Dark World? And no, it's not because Ganon trapped the maidens in them.

new ff games

I'm looking forward to FF Crystal Chronicles too. It looks like my type of game, like a cross between Zelda and Final Fantasy, heh. It'll also be cool to be able to play with multiple people. I loved playing Gauntlet Legends and Zelda: Four Swords, so I except I'm going to really like playing multi-player on FFCC, too.
22. You know, some time I'm just going to snap, and then everyone that's made up an annoying nickname is going to be very sorry... :shifty: Question: In A Link to the Past, using the Fire Rod, how much magic power does it take to break Kholdstare out of its block of ice?

new ff games

And there's also going to be a new FF Tactics on the GBA. Wasn't that supposed to come out some time this year?
24. Oh, oh, I know this, I know this, I know this! ...So why can't I think of the answer?! :worried: Okay, I'm pretty sure I got the basic relationship between the imp (Skull Kid) and the Four Giants. I'm gonna have to think about the bonus for a while, though. Answer: Okay, wasn't the Skull Kid friends with the Four Giants originally, before he stole Majora's Mask? And then afterwards, the Giants left because the Skull Kid was acting mean, being manipulated by Majora's Mask. And then that's where you come in, when the Skull Kid is lonely, and so Majora's Mask uses him to try and destroy the world, and you have to bring back the Four Giants to stop him. Bleh, I think I got that basically right. Been a long time since I first played MM, and I've forgotten some of the details of the story.
25. Heheh, sorry, it's just been way too long since I've done anything like that. Couldn't resist. ^_^;
