1. Okay, then, I guess my manga is older than Red and Blue. So there's the answer: It was a manga before a game, then probably a game (don't know when the japanese release of R/B were, but the first season of the anime is based on the game, so I'm assuming the game came first), then probably an anime.
2.
Um...what the heck? You kinda need to give a description, if that's a Pokémon that you made up. :cross:
3. Valen got it right, it's XVI. Good job! :) Oh, and people, try not to one-word-post, please. At least put something like "Is it VII?"
4. Slide show? I suppose there was some slowdown, but I don't remember it being all that bad. Same with the Water Temple. I only remember there being a little slowdown here or there.
5. Haha, I think that's the best thing you've done since that Link picture of me! You should have used a castle background, though, and the word "castle," instead of "palace." :p
6. Lets see if I can remember them all... Answer: Iggy, Lemmy, Morton, Ludwig, Wendy, Roy, and Larry. Whoo! Question: What character(s) from Super Mario Kart were replaced in Mario Kart 64, and what character(s) were they replaced with?
7. Yes, the SNES was a better system, in terms of the amount of good games for it. The N64 had good first party games, but was really lacking in third party games. The GameCube, though, is pulling out of that rut. Also, the GBA is doing adsolutely wonderfully. I can't wait to see what's in store for the GCN later this year. As for games being pretty much about how good the graphics are, yes, I agree, to an extent. It does seem that some games are pretty much just eye candy and not much else. Nintendo has actually been one of the best developers in terms of providing a fun game and not just good graphics, though. Even on the N64, pretty much all of their games were excellent and didn't really focus all that much on good graphics.
8. Well, yeah, an online game that's that big would have to be on the GCN. If for nothing else, you'd need the space of a disc (1.5 GB on a GCN disc), and you wouldn't be able to do good 3D graphics on the GBA. Not to mention that there's already a modem and broadband adapter out for the GCN.
9. Nope, not fifth. Here's a hint: The number is made up of three roman numerals.
10. I've noticed a frame skip here or there, but it's only happened about three times, when I'm coming into Hyrule Field from somewhere else. Other than that, I haven't seen any slowdown or anything else. Certainly nothing worse than the original. (Well, besides the little pause when you go into the subscreens, but I've gotten used to that).
11. Heheh, found this out just a bit ago, playing OOT Master Quest on the bonus disc. (Though it's in the original OOT, too). :) Question: In Ocarina of Time, King Zora is which in the line of Zora kings? (As in, King Zora I, II, III, IV, and so on).
12. Isn't it that Koholint Island will disappear if you wake the Wind Fish? Been a long time since I played LA, can't quite remember...
13. Booyah! Ocarina of Time Master Quest (my abbreviation is OMQ, so people know, heh) is way better than the original! (At least so far, anyway, in the dungeons; it's exactly the same out of the dungeons, as Semjaza said). I can't wait till tomorrow, when I'll have time to go through the Dodongo's Cavern! Like Semjaza mentioned, Inside the Great Deku Tree is overrun by Gohma Larvae in OMQ, whereas there were only three thoughout the whole dungeon in OOT. (Besides the ones Gohma drops during the boss fight). Also, there are Giant Deku Babas, which didn't show up in OOT till you go to Kokiri Forest as an adult. Very fun to fight one of those in a little room with four Gohma Larvae. :toothy: The puzzles are also pretty much completely different, all the way down to how you get rid of that spiderweb in the floor of the first room. I can't wait to see how they've changed some of the later, more complicated dungeons. It's going to be almost like playing through the dungeons for the first time, if they're as different as the first one. ^_^ You really should pre-order The Wind Waker, just so you can get this disc. Even if you've played OOT before, OMQ is worth it by itself. I mean, hey, you might as well, since it's free. (I even got a free OOT player's guide at GameStop with the disc, though it's just the old Prima guide and doesn't cover OMQ). And by the way, I thought this'd go better in its own thread, since it's not really about The Wind Waker, but about OMQ. So, I split off your post into this thread. :)
14. My title is the great Zelda Lore Master. Get it right. :p *dodges more hits from the Nerf bat*
15. Eterah's got it right, it's the Lost Woods. The forest where you play hide and go seek with the fairies, though, is the Fairies' Woods, and yes, that's in Ages. And Devlin, since Ginny didn't get it right, her question wasn't the one that needed answering. If someone posts a question, but gets the previous question wrong, then the previous question still needs to be answered, not the question from the person that got it wrong. So, no, Eterah's has the next question.
16. That's in Oracle of Ages, not Seasons. Try again. :)
17. Wasn't there a sequal to Chrono Trigger on the SNES that was never released outside of Japan? That would explain it being the fourth game in the series.
18. Answer: The Power Rings, Armor Rings, Rang Rings, Heart Rings, and Light Rings. Question: In Oracle of Seasons, there is a screen on the far left border of the overworld, yet you can still go to the left from that screen. Which screen is it?
19. Heh, wrong two. Power is blue, and Wisdom is red. Bleh, I'll just ask another one: Question: In an Oracle of Ages or Oracle of Seasons linked game, what ring do you get from rescuing Princess Zelda part way through the game?
20. Nope, you got two of them switched. Hint: You get them in the order of Courage, Power, Wisdom. And yeah, I've been reading your blog, for the most part, but it's not the same.
21. Answer: Power is on top, Wisdom is bottom-left, and Courage is bottom-right. (I found that out in OOT, with the Triforce marks on their hands, and have remembered it ever since). Din, Goddess of Power corresponds with the Triforce of Power, Nayru, Goddess of Wisdom corresponds with the Triforce of Wisdom, and Farore, Goddess of Courage corresponds with the Triforce of Courage. Question: In A Link to the Past, what are the colors of each of the Pendants of Virtue? By the way, how come you're never on AIM anymore, Ginny? I miss talking to you.
22. I think it's more like he drops it from 30 to 10 (not sure on the first price, but I know the lower price is 10). But yeah, whatever, go ahead and ask.
23. Wait...you get a bigger Bullet Bag from
scoring three bull's eyes
, not a Deku Nut upgrade. Are you asking how to get the bigger Bullet Bag after that, or the second Deku Nut upgrade? *sees edit* Ah, okay, then... Answer: You get the second Deku Nut upgrade by wearing the Mask of Truth on the Forest Stage in the Lost Woods. Question: In Ocarina of Time, between the four fences near the entrance to Lake Hylia, you can bomb open a hole with a Business Scrub in it that will sell you a Heart Container Piece. How do you get it to sell the Heart Container Piece for less than it originally asks, and what is the lower price?
24. Yeah, he says "Come back in five or six years." I think Ginny got that one, though, since she got five first, which led to six.
25. If it can't be eight, it obviously can't be ten. Like I said, it wouldn't be done when Link wakes up after the seven years. Close, Ginny. He says "Come back in five or..." :)
