1. Booyah! More art! *adds to growing collection* ^_^ You wouldn't happen to know where I could get more, would you? Nintendo.com still has zip for artwork, and all the other places I've found art has their little site stamps on them. Very annoying.
2. Nope, it's not the Magic Hammer. (It does as much as the Tempered Sword). And I am counting the Golden Sword; it's not a one-hit-kill on everything, just most things.
3. Actually, Luigi jumps the highest in SMB2. Princess Toadstool has the ability to float for a couple seconds. But, um, can we try to keep it to only one question at a time? Otherwise it can get really confusing, about whose turn it is to ask, and stuff. Bleh...there are so many different worlds that you fight Birdo on... I have no idea about how many, or which ones, except for the first world.

Is the storyline much different from the previous games? I've read about stuff with Team Magma in Ruby, and Team Aqua in Sapphire, but is it really that different, on the whole, that the older games? Or are Team Magma/Aqua just pretty much like Team Rocket in the old ones?
5. Answer: Yeah, there's nine, but you only start with the original eight when you get the Flute. Once you get up to where Turtle Rock is in the Light World, though, the ninth one appears there. Very handy, since you you don't have to hike up through the mountains from the first drop-off point in front of the Lost Old Man's cave in order to get to Turtle Rock or Ganon's Tower. Question: In A Link to the Past, what is the most powerful weapon in the game, besides one-hit-kill items like the Fire Rod and Bombos?
6. "Walk without rhythm, and you won't attract the worm." I think that quote is from one of the Dune books... I still need to read them... But yeah, if it's "rhythmic moving" that they've banned, people should just dance without rhythm. Then they'd probably ban "random moving," lol. And besides, how much rhythm can a group of drunk people have? :p

I merged this thread with the old Ruby & Sapphire thread, and made it a sticky. Hopefully, with more and more info being released about R/S, having it as a sticky will help to keep multiple R/S threads from popping up. And yeah, I doubt there's a complete list of all the new Pokémon with their english names out yet. It's still over a month till the games are released, which is a bit early for a full list. I don't think there was a full list for G/S until they were released, or right before they were released.
8. When you say trials, what exactly do you mean? Do you mean things that you have to do to get Small Keys, or what?
9. Um...the sword isn't automatic in The Legend of Zelda... You kind of have to push the button to swing it, it doesn't just get used on its own. o_0 And yes, you do have a shield in The Legend of Zelda, and no, you didn't have to assign to Power Bracelet to a button. I have proof, too: In this screen shot, you can clearly see that the Power Bracelet (the top, rightmost item) is above the box of selectable items. That means you can't assign it to the B button, which in turn means that it's used automatically, whenever you push on a moveable block. In this screen shot, you can see that Link is holding a shield, plain as that. Oh, and yes, you got it right. Ask away.
10. Why I like LTP the most? I have a bunch of *cough*real*cough" (:p) reasons why I like it best. 1. First off, there's the sheer size of the game. You've got two overworlds, and 11 dungeons, 12 if you count Hyrule Castle. That's a lot of game to explore, and exploring a huge world is something I really like in a game. 2. The complexity of the dungeons, and just the general layout of them is some of the best in any Zelda game so far. None of the dungeons in LTP get boring for me, even on the second time through the game in two weeks. (Yes, I actually played the remake on the GBA through twice in a row in about two weeks). 3. The enemies; there's just the right amount, and lots of variety. In the original The Legend of Zelda, I thought there were a tad too many enemies. (I think 7-10 for almost every room in a dungeon in a bit much). In OOT and MM, there were way too few, and in the Oracle games, there still weren't really all that many. LA is about the only other game that got this part just right, I think. 4. Then there's the vast amount of items in LTP. I don't think any other Zelda game has the same amount of variety that you get in LTP. You've got 22 useable items, not to mention things that you can put in your Bottles, and your swords and shields. You also don't have to find every item to complete the game, and those that you don't have to get are hidden pretty well, for the most part. 5. The difficulty is, in my opinion, just right. Yes, it's hard the first time through, sometimes even a little frustrating. But, on your second time through, you find it a little less hard, and find yourself wondering why you had so much trouble on that one dungeon, or that one boss. Eventually, though, you can get like me, where you can totally breeze through the game without dying once. 6. This point goes hand in hand with my last one--the sheer fun of playing this game. Even when you can just breeze through the game without dying a single time, it's still fun to play! (Not to mention knowing how to do and where to find absolutely everything). Like I said, I played through the remake on the GBA twice in a row in the space of two weeks, and I had just as much fun the second time as I did the first time I ever played the game. You're right, though, there is something about this game that you can't quite describe, but it just makes the game a lot of fun to play. Heck, I can just walk around the overworld killing enemies for half an hour, and still have fun.
11. Answer: There's more than one item like that, actually. First there's the Shield, which you actually have to assign to a button in LA, instead of it just always being used in TLO. Then there's also the Power Bracelet which, again, you actually have to assign to a button and use manually, instead of having it just be used automatically whenever you want to push a rock in TLO. Question: In Link's Awakening DX, what object common to most Zelda games does the boss of the Secret Dungeon resemble?
12. Oh, you mean the Triforce... Okay, no, you don't ever get the Triforce in the english version, whereas you do in the japanese version. In the english version, Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf/Ganon each get a piece, and it never tells what happens to them after you seal Ganon in the Sacred Realm. I'd assume that they all still had their pieces after the end of the game, since you need all three to assemble the Triforce, and Ganon was trapped in the Sacred Realm with his. There have been many, many, many, many, many rumors about getting the Triforce in the english version, but they're all false. It just isn't possible.

It's "The Wind Waker," not "The Wind Walker." ^_^ Ooo...weird RPG... If there's lots of bad puns and stupid humor (and maybe some slapstick, too, heehee), I'll probably love this game, lol. Actually, I like the look of the characters. They seem to fit in with the weird story and the cartoonish environments. I also find cartoony, cel shaded graphics a nice change from all the super-realistic graphics in most games anymore. (I love his expression in that first screen shot, lol).
14. Um, no, Mewtwo Returns isn't the first movie. The first movie is Mewtwo Strikes Back, or something like that. Mewtwo Returns was made after the third movie was made. However, it's not the "real" fourth movie. It's more of just a side story sort of thing, that tells what happens to Mewtwo after the events in the first movie, Mewtwo Strikes Back. I keep meaning to rent it, and see if it's any good, but I always forget.
15. Lol, that's not tough at all. I mean, it is one of the items that you need to get in order to complete the game. You get it in the library in Kakariko Village, by using the Pegasus Shoes to dash into the bookshelf that it's sitting on. :) You're supposed to answer a question before asking one, though. Otherwise, there always ends up being multiple questions being asked at the same time, and it gets really confusing. And yes, Bremma, you're correct. The name engraved on your shield (and sword, as Ginny pointed out) is whatever you name your file. Ask away. Edit: Hello? You going to ask a question, Bremma, or shall I? It's been two days now...
16. Because, apparently, some people are offended by that word. I don't quite know why, really. I mean, it is just an abbreviation, isn't it? Well, I've beaten the game and gotten everything... I don't know what you're talking about, though. Are you talking about a blank space on one of the subscreens? I filled up every item slot on all of the subscreens, if that's what you're talking about.
17. I think my favorite, out of the ones I've used (never used the job system or sphere grid, so I can't say about those), would be FFIX's magic system. It's kind of like the plain leveling up system (FFIV), mixed with the Magicite system (FFVI). You can pick and choose which spells and abilities to want to learn by equiping certain weapons, but at the same time, not everyone can use every spell and ability. I think having everyone being able to learn magic just makes it way too easy, so that's why I didn't pick the Magicite system. I mean, in FFIV, you have two party members (with your end party, anyway) that could use white magic, and one only had weak white magic. You actually have to make sure that your white mage can get off a cure spell in time to keep someone from dying, instead of just using the next person in line to heal them, when everyone can learn magic. You also can't just sit back and have everyone casting Ultima and just totally breeze through boss fights, either. FFVI - Vanish/Doom... - Tasis And by the way, I added the Item/Ability system from FFIX to the poll, since there's room for more options. :) You'd really like the Sphere Grid methinks 'sko ^^;; - Tasis
18. Hey, this looks pretty good. The tube tracks in F-Zero X were always my favorite, so I'll probably like this game. I'll have to give it a rent, if it's coming out this month. (Not enough money to buy, what with Zelda coming out in March).
19.
Originally posted by Beelzebumon What would Pokemon Black even be about? I'd like a game where you get to join Team Rocket; maybe that's what Pokemon Black would be...
Yeah, I had thought of that a long time ago, just a little after Yellow had come out. Maybe make two games, Pokémon Black, and Pokémon White. In Black, you could be part of Team Rocket, trying to take over cities and stuff, and eventually the whole world. In White, you could play as a Pokémon trainer trying to stop Team Rocket.
20. Yeah, being able to costomize your character would be a must for an online game. (And still cool for a 3D offline game). You should get to choose what you look like, what you're wearing, and all that at the start of the game. I like the idea of getting new clothes and stuff, too. You could buy clothes and stuff with your money from battling other trainers, and then you wouldn't just be stuck with whatever you chose at the start of the game.
21.
Triforce Award Desbreko: 30.5 Break: 6
Booyah! Not that I mean to brag, really, but... I won, and I won with the biggest margin of any award. (Over five times as many votes as second place). Just another little thing to support my claim as the Zelda Lore Master. :D And congratulations to everyone else that won an award. Better luck next time, to those that didn't. :)
22. Well, sure, maybe with a funky third party link cable. I'm talking about first party link cables, though. (You know how I feel about third party accessories, Sammy, so I won't bother saying it here, heh).
23. There are only two yellow birds in the game, so it looks like you've gotten all of them.
24. Nope, there are only yellow birds in a couple levels. I can tell you which levels and where they are if you really want, but they're not too hard to find.
25. Hmm, never done that before. I was sure there was another easy way to do it, though. Bleh, maybe I'll think of it later... Question: Bleh, this is kind of easy, but about all I can come up with right now (I'm tired). In Link's Awakening, what name is engraved on your shield?
