[color=indigo]I'm still waiting for a completely huge online Pokémon game, where you just start a character somewhere in the world (the world would have to be a full, 3D world, not just routes between cities, for it to be very good), then you can just do whatever you want. You'd get a starter Pokémon, and from there, you could win badges, challenge the Elite Four, become a Pokémon Master, or you could just travel around the world battling whoever you meet. Or maybe you could join Team Rocket, and do stuff for them. Maybe you could start up your own little private gym, if you got good enough, and got enough money for a building for it. And if they do ever make an online Pokémon game, I hope that they keep track of everyone's win/loss record, and post the top 10, or 25, or however many, in every Pokémon Center. Then people really could see who the best trainer is.[/color]

[color=indigo]There was already a thread about Pokémon movies, so I merged the two. As for the Pokémon 4Ever, I don't really follow the movies or cartoons anymore. I mainly just play the games, now.[/color]

[color=indigo]No, I've had them try to jump up from an empty space, and had it end up on its back. You just have to chop down enough of the spaces that it jumps from. If you watch one for a bit, there are only about five places they'll jump from.[/color]
-
[color=indigo]I was sure there was another way, but all I can think of right now, is that you wait for it to jump and land, then chop down the grass where it jumped. Then when it tries to jump there again, it'll end up on its back. Does that count, since you're cutting the grass after it jumps, not while it's jumping? :toothy:[/color]

[color=indigo]Yep, it's his lightning attack. You can always tell when he's going to do it, because he always moves up to the top center of the balcony when he's going to do it. Really easy to avoid.[/color]

[color=indigo]Ruby and Gold? Gold is already out... I assume you mean Ruby and Sapphire, right? And yeah, they could use Pokémon Black as a name, but it's not definite, at least not that anyone outside of Nintendo knows. Just because Nintendo has ended up using made up names doesn't mean they'll use this one.[/color]

[color=indigo][b]Answer:[/b] By "strand," I assume you mean have one just flopping around on land, right? If so, it's at the Watergate, when you open it and the pools around the building get drained. If you pick one up and throw it into some deep water, it'll thank you and give you a red Rupee, which is worth 20 Rupees. [b]Question:[/b] In A Link to the Past, which of Agahnim's attacks is he missing in your second fight with him? (As in, what attack did he have for the first fight, but doesn't have for the second fight?)[/color]

[color=indigo]Well, techincally, they aren't called Zoras in either The Legend of Zelda, or Link's Awakening. They're called Zolas, which are, "any female Zora who turns against Hyrulians and chooses to live a life of violence." (Quote taken from the Hyrule Encyclopedia on [url]www.zelda.com[/url]). But whatever... I just had to mention that. :toothy:[/color]

[color=indigo]Heheh... Don't you love it? I bet it's true, too. I just knew I didn't quite fit in with the rest of my family. ;) But, um...I don't think anyone is going to get the question, seeing as you'd have to know about D&D, in addition to Zelda. It'd be nice if the questions could stay completely on the subject of Zelda, since, well, it's a [i]Zelda[/i] quiz...[/color]

[color=indigo]Yeah, I just use [img] tags for the smilies that I've made. It's actually pretty easy, since I know the URLs for them. [img]http://www.desbreko.netfirms.com/Misc/Smiley-Bloody.gif[/img] [img]http://www.desbreko.netfirms.com/Misc/Smiley-Burglar.gif[/img] [img]http://www.desbreko.netfirms.com/Misc/Smiley-Cookie.gif[/img] [img]http://www.desbreko.netfirms.com/Misc/Smiley-Marshmallow.gif[/img] Whee... ^_^[/color]

[color=indigo]Well, I think 15 or 16 is a little young to even really be seriously thinking about that sort of thing. Most "love" at that age is more like lust. And I know, too, I'm 15 myself, heh. :whoops:[/color]
-
[color=indigo]Bleh, that requires knowledge of D&D, which I don't have. >_< When you say "when you find him," though, do you mean when he rises up out of Agahnim's body as a bat thing and flies off to the Pyramid of Power, or when you actually go down into the Pyramid and fight him?[/color]
-
[color=indigo]Yep, it's Majora's Mask. The closest thing you get to a boomerang in that one is Zora-Link's fins, or the Hookshot. Ask away.[/color]
-
[color=indigo]Nope, you get a Boomerang in both of those. (Though I wasn't really counting TWW, since it's not out yet). It's one of the other ones.[/color]
-
[color=indigo]Nope, you got one too many. Except for that one, though, it's right.[/color]
-
[color=indigo]Actually, it's more like this, for the sprites and character models, anyway: The Legend of Zelda - brown The Adventure of Link - brown A Link to the Past - purple-ish red Link's Awakening - black Ocarina of Time - brown-ish blonde Majora's Mask - Brown-ish blonde Oracle of Ages - black Oracle of Seasons - black A Link to the Past / Four Swords - same purple-ish red for LTP, and blonde for FS The Wind Waker - blonde That still makes five, though. [b]Question:[/b] In which games do you get a Boomerang?[/color]
-
[color=indigo]Um, no, a GBA link cable will not fit into a GBC EXT. port. There's a little nub thing on the GBA cables that make it so they can't fit in a GBC EXT. port. It just ain't possible. The only way to link GBC games using a two GBAs or a GBA and a GBC is to use a GBC link cable, since a GBC link cable will fit in a GBA EXT. port, in addition to being able to fit GBA cables.[/color]

[QUOTE][i]Originally posted by Lady Katana [/i] [B][color=royalblue](Raikou is actually believed to be the hardest to catch, as it has the highest Speed)[/color] [/B][/QUOTE] [color=indigo]Actually, Raikou was the first one that I cought, and it was pretty easy. I just used a few Fast Balls after I got its life down in the red and put it to sleep, and I got it within the first few tries. After I got its life down into the red, I only had to run into it two or three times to catch it. Then when I ran into Suicune for the first time, I just used my Master Ball (I had already gotten Entei down to almost no life, so I figured I might as well use it on Suicune and not bother with trying to get its life down). Then I had a heck of a time catching Entei. I had it down to a sliver of life, and I'd put it to sleep and just throw ball after ball, and it just would not capture it. It was getting really annoying. I must have spent a couple hours just trying to catch Entei alone.[/color]

[color=indigo]Like Ken said, just go look on GameSpot ([url]http://gamespot.com/gamespot/filters/products/0,11114,561981,00.html[/url]), they have info on it there. Or, if you're too lazy to go look for yourself, here's the latest news from Square:[/color] [quote][i]From GameSpot.com[/i] [b]Square has released additional information regarding the upcoming North American release of Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II for the PlayStation. Both games will be included on a single disc under the name of Final Fantasy Origins, and, as expected, they'll both benefit from a number of changes. Audio and visual improvements have been made to both titles, and CG introductions have also been added. In addition, the Origins disc will feature a photo gallery with images that can be unlocked as players progress through the games, a new bestiary option that will give players detailed information on the various creatures in the games, and new gameplay modes that make Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II more accessible to newcomers. Final Fantasy Origins is scheduled for release in April.[/b][/quote] [color=indigo]And yes, there was another thread on this subject, but it's long dead.[/color]

[color=indigo]Well, technically, all of the Super Moderators have costom titles, too... We just didn't get to choose them. :whoops: And yeah, Break and Asuka's titles are sort of little jokes. Asuka is the Queen of the Plushies, and, well, you can't deny that Break is an idiot. ;) I'm guessing that the highest rank comes at 25,000 posts, and the title is "Shoot Me, Please." :toothy:[/color]

[color=indigo]Yeah, it's the Lake of Ill Omen. Ask away.[/color]

[color=indigo][b]Answer:[/b] To go a half step higher on a note, hold in the R button when you play the note, to go a half step lower, hold in the Z button when you play the note, and to gradually shift the note to the next higher or next lower note, press up or down on the Control Stick. To add a vibration effect to the notes, push left or right on the Control Stick. [b]Question:[/b] In A Link to the Past, what is the name of the pond where you get the Quake Medallion?[/color]

[color=indigo]Yes, you should indeed look over the first page of threads before creating a new thread, to avoid this sort of thing. (How you missed the sticky thread, I don't know, since it's right at the top, but that doesn't really matter). Try to be more careful in the future, please. And one other thing... Please don't post an attachment unless it has to do with the topic at hand. Posting pics of the new Pokémon in a thread about Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire is fine, but it's kind of pointless in a thread like this, since it has nothing to do with rating teams. All it does is take up space on the board.[/color]

[color=indigo]*Gets out GBC and GBA, and two copies of Pokémon Yellow. Turns both games on, and sets them side-by-side to compare.* Okay, the only difference that I see is that on the GBC, the blue on the title screen is now black on the GBA, but all the other color looks exactly the same to me, and not any darker. And the blue turning to black could just be a little color variation on the GBA, since you can change the color palette on old GB games. Even with older GBA games like Super Mario Advance and F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, they've always seemed just as bright as games on my GBC. I have yet to have a problem with the screen being to dark, or even any darker than the GBC. After having my GBA for a year and a half now, since it came out, and never having a problem, I'm beginning to think that my eyes must just be really good or something.[/color]

[color=indigo]Bleh, fine then, you wear the Goron Mask, and you don't slide on ice. Personally, though, I find it easier to just swing my sword to keep in control when I'm on ice, since you don't have to keep switching back and forth between Link and Goron-Link whenever you come to some icy ground. Unless I'm already wearing the Goron Mask, I don't bother with it. And yes, you got it right. You start to dash, but let up the button before you actually move, and you end up just stopping.[/color]
