Yeah, it should say in the GCN game instruction booklet, or on the back of the game case. You don't always need a GBA game to get the link features, though. Like in Animal Crossing, there's an island that you can get to when you connect a GBA. It should say in the instruction manual whether or not you need a GBA cartridge, though.

Marth is decent, I think, but I just seem to do so much better on Roy. His attacks just seem more powerful, even if they are a tad bit slower. His B attack is a heck of a lot better, too, if you can charge it up a decent amount. That, and I like how you do more damage when you hit with the middle of Roy's sword, instead of the tip of Marth's. I've been playing SSBM some more lately, and I've found my three best characters, without a doubt, are Link, Samus, and Ganondorf. When I play against three level 9 CPU player's, it's not even a challenge. I usually end up getting +8 or something, and they get -5, heh. Roy, I think, would be my fourth best character. And is this just me, or does it seem like Luigi is the best character, when the CPU plays as him? Out of all the other characters, he seems like the hardest to beat when I set him to level 9. It's really weird, because he's about the only CPU character that can regularly get a positive score when I play with three level 9 CPUs.

No one got my question yet. The Ragnarock sword doesn't randomly cast Ultima. If you get the Magicite instead of the sword, you can learn Ultima from it. Anwser: You get the MP Turbo Materia in the Whirlwind Maze, after beating Jenova-DEATH. You get the W-Summon Materia from the Battle Arena, in exchange for 64,000 Battle Points. You get the W-Item Materia down in train tunnel that you go through when you return to Midgar, all the way down at the end. Question: My other one still stands. In FFVI, what spell does the Ragnarock sword randomly cast?

Yeah, I think it's neat how when you do things in one game, it has an effect on the other. Like when you get the Master Sword in LTP,
you can then shoot sword beams when you have full life, and then you'll also be able to shoot sword beams in FS when you have full life.
And I'm really looking forward to that
extra dungeon
in LTP. Hopefully it'll be a little harder than the others in the game.

Wait, wait, wait... When you says "crows," do you mean Cuccos, or those little enemy birds? And, when you say "around Clock Town," do you mean around in Clock Town, or actually flying around Clock Town out in Termina Field? As for the other question, yes, you do have to bomb open a hole in the floor above the boss chamber, and then lead Blind the Thief into the patch of light. He'll then come out of his disguise of a maiden, and fight you. The dungeon item of Level 4: Gargoyle's Domain is the Titan's Mitt. Bleh, I stop posting in here for a day or two, and everything goes haywire. ;)

Well, the recommendation that you avoid my big stick by getting Zelda might change your mind... Heheh, just kidding. From everything I've heard, it's hard to go wrong with Golden Sun. I keep thinking I should pick it up when I've got the money, but other games keep getting in the way... Like the two Metroid games, heh.

They are making a MMORPG. It's called Final Fantasy XI, and it's already out in Japan. And yes, they're going to finish FFX-2 before they even seriously consider a FFVII sequel. If they do make one, we won't be seeing it for a long, long time.

Answer: There are eight dragons in all. They are, Fire, Ice, Water, Earth, White, Black, Storm, and Bone. You get the Crusader Magicite for beating all eight of them. Question: In FFVI, what spell does the Ragnarock sword randomly cast?

Answer: Nope, it's just one. Question: In OOT, which shield can you equip while both young and old? (Easy, I know, but I'm running out of hard ones. Need to sit down some time and think up a bunch more questions).

I'm not sure if the 56K Modem Adapter and Broadband Adapter are out yet, but the only game that I know of that's been announced to use them is PSO: Ep. I & II. I don't think it's been announced that any other games will use them, so far.

Almost everyone I've talked to has said Golden Sun is really good, although I haven't actually played it myself. It's probably one of the better RPGs on the GBA, I guess. You simply can't go wrong with Zelda: A Link to the Past or Metroid Fusion, though... Or Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 and Mario Kart: Super Circuit, if you don't already have those. Yoshi's Island: SMA3 is also pretty good. I don't know, though, it really just depends on what types of games you like. There's pretty much good ones for everyone on the GBA, and it's kinda hard to list them all. (Though being the Zelda fanatic that I am, I'm afraid I must threaten you with a large stick if you don't get Zelda). ;)

*sighs* ...Why does everyone automatically assume that a sequel to FFVII will be set right after the end of FFVII, with the same characters and everything? I really, really doubt that's going to happen, because Square has said they're only going to make a sequel if they can make it so the game isn't disappointing after playing FFVII. (At least I'm pretty sure I heard something like that). So yeah, I don't think people have to worry about a sequel that's boring because it has no story. If they're going to make a sequel, it's going to be at least somewhat close to being as good as FFVII. And, like I said, I'm thinking the only way to do that would be to make it a prequel, or have it set quite a while after FFVII with different characters and a different story, and pretty much just have it set in the FFVII world. Almost definitely not right after the end of FFVII.

Gaming Can Kingdom Hearts be classified as a Final Fantasy game?
Desbreko replied to Zanarkand Abes's topic in Noosphere
Really, it mentions Link? Huh...yet another reason why I need to play the original... But anyway, I don't think this thread is doing anything but collecting spam anymore. Kingdom Hearts is not a Final Fantasy game. You can tell from the simple fact that the words "Final Fantasy" aren't in the title. Thread Closed -
122 Power Stars? Okay, I've played through that game, like, four times, scouring every level for hours and never found any more than 120... That, and I've never even heard anything about there being more than 120 until now. I don't think there are more than 120. If you can get more, it's probably a glitch, like how you can get more than 100 Gold Skulltulas in Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I'll believe it when I see it, pretty much, though I'd be happy to try it out if you'd tell me how you're supposed to get the other two, or even only one.

Yeah, I was kind of disappointed that one of the fruits didn't make Yoshi green. I think the coconuts should have made him green, instead of pink, since the coconuts themselves are green. And I've never heard of any way to get a green Yoshi, either. I kind of doubt there is a way... Dunno, though, there could be some little easter egg in there to let you get one.

I already gave her a walkthrough for the Water Temple, and I think she told me she got through it... So I don't think she needs any more help with it.

Lol, both the "members of the Indigo-Gos" and "eight Instruments of the Sirens" questions have been done before. Oh, and you missed Toto, the manager of the Indigo-Gos. ;) Answer: Right, the eight Instruments of the Sirens are, the Full Moon Cello, Conch Horn, See Lily Bell, Surf Harp, Wind Marimba, Coral Triangle, Organ of Evening Calm, and the Thunder Drum. Question: In Majora's Mask, they re-used some of the character models from Ocarina of Time. So, which character in OOT shares the same character model as Anju in MM?
-
Well, he said the original Final Fantasy, so I assume he means the first one... Though I didn't even know they had names in the first one. It's not the same as in FFIV, is it? Rubicant?

I always thought that voice that talks to Cloud was the
Jenova cells in him.
Dunno, though. As for a prequel to FFVII, I think that'd be best. A sequel could work, though--it just wouldn't work with the same characters. They'd have to make up a new story with different characters, probably set quite a while after FFVII, and just have it set in the FFVII world.

*blinks* ...Ah, I see what you're talking about now. You mean the room where you have to push the block around onto the black square, and have the right color facing up when it's on the square, right? Okay, to do that, push the block two spaces to the right, one up, one left, one down, and then all the way over to the left until you get it onto the black square.

Okay, Zidane, just a few things... First off, no one is going to have a piece of the Triforce. Ganon has the complete Triforce, meaning the only time someone in the RPG is going to get the Triforce is at the end, when the group defeats Ganon. Please try not to abuse the ability to find and pick up items. That ability is one of the main reasons why I didn't just let anyone in to this RPG. Second, when you go through a warp to or from the Dark World, you end up in the same place, only on the map of the other world. So, if you went through a warp near Ice Lake in the Dark World, you'd be near Lake Hylia in the Light World. You can't just warp across the world like that. It'd make traveling from one side of the world to the other just a bit too easy. I except people to at least somewhat follow the maps. Third, Zoras don't eat minerals, lol. They eat fish, and other things that Hylians and other people would eat. Just thought you might like to know that, lol. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Drake: So...what are you thinking about? Lalia: Oh...home, mainly. How my father is taking my leaving. Drake: Oh...I see. Probably won't be too happy that you ran off with me, right? Lalia: Exactly. How about you, what are you thinking about? Drake: Oh, you know. Being the leader of the group, I have to plan out what we're going to do next, and how to do it. Very serious stuff. Very stressful, you know? Drake continued to sit, looking at the sky, and the immediate surroundings of the pool. He actually managed to keep a straight face, too, while starting to hum a merry little tune. Lalia stared at him for a few seconds, not sure if he was serious, or joking around. Then she saw his slight wink, and started to laugh quietly. Lalia: Yeah, that's why you're sitting by a pool, looking like your mind is completely blank. Drake gave her what was fast becoming his "trademark grin." Drake: It's not blank, though. It's filled with thoughts of you. Though I suppose what I said earlier wasn't quite all made up... If worrying counts, that is. He smiled as he stood up and stretched, before sitting back down again and rummaging through his small pack that now lay beside him on the soft grass. Digging down to the bottom, he pulled out one of the loaves of bread that Sahasrahla had given to him. It's not exactly dark and dank--just the opposite, in fact--but it's too nice a day after that storm to resist having a little bit. Carefully unwrapping the bread, taking care not to rip the wrapping, he cut four slices before rewrapping it and placing it back in his pack. Drake: Who wants the heel? Kiln and Ami looked over, and saw the four slices. Kiln & Ami: I'll take it. Drake started to laugh a bit, as the two looked at each other, stern expressions of their faces. Kiln, being a Kokiri and looking about like a ten year old Hylian, didn't look all that serious, though Drake knew he was. Lalia just watched, almost as amused as Drake was. Drake: Heh, how did I know? I think I know of a solution, though. Ami and Kiln both looked at him, curious, as he broke the heel and another slice of break neatly in half. Then he handed half of the heel and half of the other piece to both of them. They took the bread, looked at it, and then looked at each before shrugging. Drake, still chuckling a bit, turned back to Lalia and offered her one of the other slices. Breaking off a small piece and putting it in her mouth, she chewed, and then smiled. Lalia: Cinnamon! Drake took a bite of his own slice, and was surprised to taste a hint of cinnamon in the bread. It appeared that Sahasrahla's wife was quite the baker. The four sat under the warm sun, enjoying their small snack by the pool. Drake's thoughts returned to the strange blue glow at the bottom, and made a mental note of it. He might just have to return and find out what exactly it was, sometime.

I can help you through it, but I'd kind of need to know where you are, and be able to talk to you over AIM or something. Ask me sometime when I'm on AIM, and I'll help you.

You're talking about the Super Mario Bros. Super Show. It was mainly animated cartoons, and then there were the live action parts where they talk and stuff. I've seen a few episodes.

Gaming Why are there never any new 2D Mario games?
Desbreko replied to Sniglefager's topic in Noosphere
I wasn't saying Paper Mario isn't a good game, I'm just saying it wasn't your normal Mario game. I rented it, and I liked it. Nice change of pace from most of the RPGs out there.
