I'm just wondering if this will mean more or less RPGs by those two companies coming to the GBA and GCN. Hopefully more, and hopefully we'll see some FF games in the main series coming to GCN.

I've gotten the second best ending in Super Metroid, where she takes off her helmet... But that's not hard, since you only have to beat it in under 10 hours... My brother is the one that goes for the best endings. I don't think I'll ever be able to get the best ending in a Metroid game where it's based off of time.

*moves thread to the Mario forum* You get Yoshi after you beat Episode 4: The Wilted Sunflowers in Pinna Park.

Hmm, I think this'd go better in one of the Gaming Otaku forums. The thing is, there isn't just a "general gaming" type of forum... Hmm...I guess I'll move this to the Nintendo forum, since people seem to post this type of thread in there occasionally. I guess if Rico thinks it should be in one of the other forums, he can move it there. I'm really not too sure about what to do with this thread, lol. :cross: -
So, um... I guess my question about A Link to the Past still stands, unless you want to ask another question.

Oh, yeah...the stupid yellow pipes... Those were the ones that gave me most of the trouble in that dungeon. I must have blocked them out of my memory, I hated them so much. :cross: I got the bonus right, though, didn't I? Shouldn't that make up for it? :toothy:

Otaku Big Brother II: Eviction #5 Spectacular
Originally posted by Final Flash Yeah, well last year it lasted a good 3 months. So count your blessings.
Yeah, but the people in it could also post in the other forums, too. ...And it didn't actually start for about two weeks, anyway, lol. -
Yes! Finally, a Metroid game that gives you the best ending based off how much of the stuff you've gotten instead of how long you took to complete it! I was really hoping that they'd do it that way, because I like to take Metroid games slow and make sure I get everything. I can't stand rushing through as fast as I can to get the best ending. >_< (I really, really, really hate time limits). I wonder if we'll get to see Samus out of her suit for the best ending, like you did with the first three games. It'd be cool to see Samus in 3D without her suit on. Okay, lets see here... 1. The New Wave Bossa Nova. 2. Green and red. 3. The half damage upgrade. Bonus: Isn't it purple, green, and orange? I'm actually not too sure about this one. Question: In A Link to the Past, where is the only place that you can buy a Red Shield? And, if you know, how much do they cost?
Originally posted by Rain My first name is Ashlee. I don't know what it means or where it's from or even why my parents named me that. It's really annoying when you want to buy pens and stuff with your name on it, and the only have Ashley and Ashleigh. Teachers are always spelling my name wrong as well. Everyone does. To this day, I have never met another Ashlee. It's freaky, lol.
Heh, I know what it's like. My first name is Jonathon. Yes, Jonathon. With an "o." Apparently, my mother was still on some drugs at the hospital, which made her kind of tired and out of it, and she misspelled "Jonathan" on my birth certificate. I, also, have never met another Jonathon, heh. I've come to like my name, though. It sets me appart from all the Jonathans out there, and I like that. :) ...Still, it can be a bit annoying when almost everyone misspells your name. I usually just go by Jon, to help avoid that. As for my middle name, it's Conner, and my last name is Goudy. (Pronounced gow-dee, not goo-dee). Conner is the last name on my mother's side of the family, and Goudy is the last name on my father's side. As for the meaning of my name, I really don't know... I found out what Jonathan meant one time, but I forgot. :cross:
Originally posted by Mnemolth Well, I wouldn't hold your breath. Post counts will not be abolished anytime soon. It might be hidden or they might do something with it, but no one is gonna get rid of it altogether. Reason? Simple really. Despite what everyone says about not caring about post counts, blah blah blah, the bottom line is that everyone does. Of course some more than others, but I do mean everyone (save one or two exceptions, and if you are reading this, no, you are not likely to be one of those exceptions). I posted a suggestion about reducing everyone's post counts to zero in another thread. Except for MK, who for some reason I can't take seriously ;), no one accepted the challenge. Which to me says a helluva lot... This is a place essentially populated by teenagers. And of course no teenager I've ever known has ever cared about status/rank/titles...:D
Lol...I'm a teenager. I'm 14, to be exact. And guess what? The first message board that I ever joined, the one that I was on before I came here, didn't have post counts. It didn't have titles. It didn't have signatures. It didn't even have avatars. All you got was your username, and that was it. Yet, even without these things, I had some really great times on that board. And then, when I joined OB here (because the other board upgraded and I couldn't get to it for a long time for some reason), I got a signature, avatar, post count, and a title. I thought "Okay, these are kind of cool," and that was about it. That's still all I think about them. You know why? Because it's simply being able to talk to other people that's important on a message board. So, to come to my main point, I really, truly do not care about my post count...or my signature...or my avatar. (I'd like to keep my title, simply because it lets people know I'm a moderator, but if I were a normal member, I wouldn't care about it, either). I came from a board that didn't have any of these things, and as such, I'm used to not having them. If avatars and signatures were to be removed I might miss them, since they're good to help add your own little touch to your posts, but I wouldn't be posting protests or anything. I'd go about the board as usual. Heck, I've even asked James to change my number of posts to the word "Classifed," just so I wouldn't have a post count. That's how much I don't care about it. (Of course, he never has changed it, because he says that then everyone would be asking for him to change theirs to something. ...Of course, if he did change it and lots of other people did ask him to change theirs, that would kind of show that a lot of people really don't care about their post counts, heh). Another thing I'd like to say is, how can you really be sure that everyone but one or two people actually do care about their post count? Can you really be absolutely 100% sure that one person, let alone almost everyone on the board, really does care and is just lying? Simply put, no, you can't. Neither you nor anyone besides the specific person knows what they think. ...But anyway, just had to say that. :toothy: Um...I think I'll end this post now. I'm pretty sure there was at least one point in there somewhere that I made. It's too dang late, and I need sleep. :cross:

The bad news: Not all of the old 60x60 avatars took the resizing well, and some of the ended up really grainy. So, I scrapped those. The good news: I had made some 80x80 avatars after I made all the 60x60 ones, and I made some more 80x80 ones just now, so the total is up to 95 avatars again! ...All but 3 of them are Zelda ones, heh. :D *sends e-mail with attached avatars* And by the way, I didn't send the one I'm using now. No one is going to steal my cute little Fairy! No one! :twitch:

*goes off to resize and rename the tons of Zelda avatars that I made last time something like this happened* I've got over 100 now. :D I'll send 'em your way as soon as I get done renaming and resizing them.

Otaku Big Brother II: Eviction #5 Spectacular

Right, if NeoC gets one more vote and Duo Maxwell gets two more, Ginny won't get voted out... *resists the urge to edit the poll* ...Dangit, sometimes being respectable gets really annoying. ;) -
I've been taking my time and going through slowly and thoroughly, so I'm only at 34% after playing for about 10 hours. The last big thing that I did was get the Wavebuster combo, after getting the Spider Ball. Since then I've just been running around collecting Missile containers and stuff that I wasn't able to get to before. I've died twice. The first time was in the fight for Missiles. I got knocked off the platform into the poisonous water, and I couldn't get back up. The second time was when I was fighting the Flaagra in the Chozo Ruins. I couldn't figure out how to keep it from flipping the mirrors back into place after I flipped them until right before I died. >_

Don't forget Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island! ...Unless you have a GBA, that is, in which case you'd probably be better off getting the remake on the GBA. Um...dang, everyone else has already named off all the other best games. >_
-
Um...I don't think he wanted to know which would win if they battled each other, I think he just wanted to know which is better to have on a team. :cross: If that's the case, I'd go with Typhlosion, because he can learn Earthquake and Thunder Punch, both of which could come in handy if it encounters a Pokémon that's strong against fire types.
-
Heh, it's easy to forget about, since you can barely ever use it. But, um...who's going to ask a question now? I'm not really sure who got that one. You were the first to post, Bremma, and you got it pretty close, though. I guess you get to ask, then.

Which Star Wars game are you talking about? There've been tons of them.

I got Fusion at the same time as Prime, but I only just played it today. (I couldn't stop playing Prime). :D I haven't gotten all that far, but I have to say, it's been totally awesome so far. It sucks you in and won't let go, just like Super Metroid did, and I find myself torn between playing Fusion and Prime, because they're both that way. :cross: So far, Fusion has been just as good as Prime, in my opinion, along with Super Metroid, too. Infact, I have the urge to play it right now, heh... I guess I will be playing both Prime and Fusion at the same time, then, though I'll probably be playing Prime more.
Originally posted by Smoky Joe I would've liked the fairies to look more like they did in Nintendo Power's old Zelda comic, but they look cute anyway. I'm not counting the GCN Zelda in the question, because we don't know if there's a shooting sword in it or not. And actually, Majora's Mask does have a shooting sword. If you Z Target something while wearing the Fierce Deity's Mask and swing your sword, it shoots a beam.

I've read the Star Wars books that he's written (Heir to the Empire was the first Star Wars book I ever read), and all of them have been very good. I haven't read any of his other books, but the three books in the Thrawn Trilogy are still some of my favorite Star Wars books.

"Mask of Majula" was actually the original Japanese translation, before they adapted it for the English release. "Zelda Gaiden" was the code name, or whatever you want to call it, for the game, so I figured you wanted that because it came first. And now that I hear the name, Feather Sword does sound kind of familiar... Hmm...maybe I did hear it somewhere... But anyway, which Zelda game(s) don't have a shooting sword of some kind?
