1. That's quite a list of things, lol... Lets see, the first three bosses in LTP, in order, are the Armos Knights, the Lanmolas, and the Moldorm. As for something that makes the battle against the Lanmolas easier, um, the two Bottles you can get up to that point with Blue Potions in both of them would make the fight easier, lol... That could be a few things, and I don't know which you're talking about... For the items, well, there's a lot of items that you can get during that part of the game, but not all of them are required. For the Y Button items, there's the Bow & Arrow, Boomerang (which can be upgraded at the Waterfall of Wishing), Bombs, Mushroom/Magic Powder, Ice Rod, Lamp, Bug-Catching Net, Book of Mudora, three Bottles, and the Magic Mirror. For the A Button items, there's the Pegasus Shoes, Power Glove, Zora's Flippers, and the Moon Pearl. For equipment, there's the Fighter's Sword, Fighter's Shield, Red Shield, the clothes you start out with, and then that one other item is the Master Sword. You've also gotton the Pendant of Courage, Pendant of Power, and the Pendant of Wisdom from beating each of the first three bosses. Heh, if we're going for the names of bosses and whatnot, name the boss of each dungeon in the original The Legend of Zelda, in the correct order. (In the 1st Quest, that is). Edit: What one after you rescue Zelda? ...Are you talking about a boss? And yeah, the Ice Rod works well on the Lanmolas. Like I said, there are a few things that can make the fight easier. I prefer to get a couple of Red/Blue Potions and use my sword, though, because it makes the fight last longer. Out of the first three bosses, the Lanmolas are my favorite. For the bosses, you got the first two right, and you do fight Aquamentus in a later dungeon, in addition to in Level 1.
2. Moved the thread to the Zelda Forum. :) The story in Oracle of Seasons is a lot like Oracle of Ages... They are connected, after all... But anyway, Din, the Oracle of Seasons, gets kidnapped by Onox, who also buries the Temple of Seasons. This throws the seaons of Holodrum (the land that the games takes place in) into chaos, making the seaons change at random. This causes no small amount of chaos among the people in the land, also, since crops can't grow, and so on... So, what's a hero to do? Well, just like in Ages, you have to collect eight Essences, only this time they're Essences of Nature, instead of Essences of Time. Then you get to go and kick Onox's butt, and rescue Din. (There's a male Maku Tree in this one, too, instead of a female one like in Ages). And, if you're playing a linked game (I'm assuming you would be, since you said you beat Ages), there'll be something after that, too. :) So, Oracle of Seasons is kind of a sequel to Oracle of Ages. Or, if you had played Seasons first, it would be the other way around. Either way, both are great games, and if you liked Ages, you'll like Seasons too.

If you have a bunch of Economizers, though, there isn't much point to using Mimic with Gogo, since you'll only be using 1 MP per spell. My point is just that there are other attacks that do as much or more damage than Ultima. I don't know about other people, but just casting Ultima over and over again isn't very fun for me... That's why I tend to use Blitzes on Sabin, Tools with Edgar, and other characters' special abilities instead of just casting a bunch of magic. Personally, I don't really like having everyone able to learn magic. I liked it better in FFIV and others where only certain people, namely mages, could learn magic and the other characters had their own special skills instead of magic.
4. Heh, I always use a maximum of four letters for abbreviations like this. ZTLO ("Zelda, The Legend of" meaning the original), ZAOL, ZLTP, ZLA, ZOOT, ZMM, ZOOA, ZOOS... And here's the wallpaper with the text I added. If you want it in a different font/color and/or in a different place, I still have the .psp file, so I can go back and edit it, too.
5.
Originally posted by OlgaTheDwarf Do you really know she has only been in two of them? What about the ones realesed in Japan, huh!
Um...the Zelda games in Japan are the same as the ones here in the US. As for your quesion, ElvenFoxKnight, the Mad Batter can be found in A Link to the Past. To find it, you have to pound down the post in front of the Blacksmith shop in Kakariko Village, allowing you to jump down the well. From where you land, go up one room, and then sprinkle some Magic Powder on the weird statue thing. It'll appear and "curse" you by making you use half the amount of magic power when you use items that use magic. For my question, what was the first Zelda game that gave you the ability to jump?
6. They may have used the same character models for Romani and Cremia in Majora's Mask as they did for Malon in Ocarina of Time, but it's not the same character. She is in two of the games, though, including OOT. Try again.
7. Lol, that was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen! I loved every minute of it, and most of the time I was laughing my butt off. It's a great movie to watch late at night, especially if you're with a group of friends. "I need gopher-chucks!" As for the tongue thing... Well, lets just say that it was "interesting" and leave it at that... ;) I dunno if they're actually making a sequel, or if that bit at the end was just sort of a joke, but I hope they do make one.

If you're doing 5000 damage with each of those eight hits, that'd be 5000 damage on two of those five parts, and 10000 damage on the other three, if it spreads the hits out; that's still a lot of damage for not using any magic. (You also have to remember that there's only one Gem Box, so only one person if going to be able to cast two Ultimas in the same round). That, and how many five part bosses are you going to be fighting? Most bosses are only one part, and that makes it well worth your while to use the Genji Glove/Offering combo. That, and if you're really anal about leveling up, like I am (somtimes), you'll be doing 9999 with each of those eight hits, and that's way better than Ultima. Oh, yeah, forgot about Illumina. Never have actually seen anybody win that fight in the Coliseum, though. You must have to get really dang lucky to win it. Oh, and I heard that there's a way to get a second Atma Weapon. Is that true, or just some rumor?
9. Oy...it's spelled "Aeris," not "Aries," Domon. Why do so many people have trouble with putting the "e" before the "r"? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Samus: Hey guys, what do you make of those four? Samus points in the direction of the four cloaked and hooded travelers sitting in the corner. One of them has a paper, and seems to be reading an article in it while whispering to the others. The front page can be seen, and on it is the picture of Princess Peach running towards the boat. Mario: Looks-a like a shady bunch to me. Link: Mmm...good burger... Samus and Mario turn and watch as Link takes a rather large bite out of his burger, seemingly oblivious to his surroundings. Samus waves a hand up and down in front of his face. Samus: Hey...Link. Link: Huh? It wasn't me this time, I swear... Oh, um, yeah, they don't exactly look friendly, do they? Aroma: Perhaps we should follow them when they leave? The other three look over at Madam Aroma, their eyes immediatly going to the empty bowls and plates in front of her. Link: How did she...? Mario: But that was... Samus: ...A lot of food. Aroma: Well, what are we going to do, then? Mario, Samus, and Link snap back to the matter at hand, and look up. Mario: Hmm, maybe it will-a lead us to some-a clues about the Piranha Plants. Link: Well, it's not like there are any other clues, so why not? Samus: ...We? Aroma: Oh, yes, I always thought it would be sort of romantic to go on a real adventure... Link shifts his eyes back and forth, thinking rapidly. "This can't be good," is what he comes up with the most. Link: Ah...romantic? I've been on a lot of adventures, and I can't say that they were very romantic, for the most part. Fighting off hordes of Stalfos Knights sure ain't what I call romantic. Mario: I-a think it would be best for you to stay here in the village, Madam. Most "adventures" as you say, are not fit a...ah...lady like-a yourself. Aroma: Oh, nonsense. Samus is a lady, and she's been on lots! Samus makes a face, wondering how she should take that comment. Link: Um, I don't know about other people, but I don't really consider Samus to be the same sort of "lady" as you. Samus: Heh, and what's that mean? Can't imagine me in a dress? Link: Um...no, not really. Aroma: Why ever not? I'm sure you would look beautiful in a gown, instead of that old rusty armor. Samus glances over at Madam Aroma and raises an eyebrow. That "old rusty armor" is a force to be reckoned with. Samus: Hmm, maybe after we settle whatever is going on, I'll go buy a dress and show you my "feminine side." There's a strange silence among the group for a few seconds, until Mario finally speaks up. Mario: Well, whatever we're-a gonna do, we gotta do it now. They're-a heading for the door, and if we-a want to follow them, we'd best be catching up. The four stand up from the table as the four stange characters walk out the door, and drop payment for their meals in the center of the table; Mario's payment makes up most of the money on the table. Samus picks up her helmet, and replaces it over her head, and the group heads for the door, hoping that the four strange people haven't gotten too far.

Bah, you can do just as much with most of the best characters' normal and special attacks as you can with Ultima. If you've got the Genji Glove (I think that's how it's spelled, and I forget where you can find it, but it lets you hold a weapon in each hand) and the Offering (makes you do four attacks with each weapon, making for a total of eight attacks when paired with the Genji Glove, and it can be found in the underground castle, when you submerge Figaro Castle and then choose to get out when it gets stuck). I use it on Celes with the Atma Weapon, and then the next best sword (forget which it is), and I do a lot more damage per round with just her than I would if I just cast Ultima with each character. (I've seen Celes do around 50000 damage in one round that way). Also, fly up north of Narshe, and walk into the little + of trees while you have Sabin in your party. He'll learn Bum Rush there (his best Blitz), which can easily do 9999 damage if you're at a decent level. If you use that with Sabin, you can be doing 9999 damage per turn with him without using magic. If you can pull it off, anyway; I don't find it that hard, it's just left and then all the way up around back to left... But yeah, you don't have to just rely on Ultima, there are other good attacks and stuff. Ultima is quite good, though, I just don't like to rely on it too much.
11. Hmm, a decent title, I suppose. I also like "Touch of the Wind" best, though I'd abbreviate it "ZTOW" in keeping with only using four letters for my abbreviations. And yeah, I don't think I want to know either... o_0
12. The pond in LTP is actually called two things. When you actually go there, it says it's the Pond of Happiness. In the ending, though, it calls it the Wishing Well. As for in LA, the Mad Batter gives you the upgrades. Okay, now for mine: How many Zelda games has Malon been in, and which ones?
13. Don't feel too bad, I'm only 5'4" with my boots on... Of course, I may yet grow taller, but probably not too much. Name: Jonathon Age: 14 Weight: 110 lb Height: 5'4" Eyes: greenish brown Hair: brown Occupation: I don't have a real job yet, but I am working on ShineGet.com, and that's the closest thing I'd had to a job so far... Interests: The Legend of Zelda game series, video games, reading, graphic design, web design, bit of anime Favorite Anime: Um...I really haven't seen enough to have a favorite. Other: Well, um, first off, I really don't have much of a life, lol. I spend a lot of my free time playing video games, on here, or writing for ShineGet.com, making the occasional banner/avatar and stuff like that, and even more rarely, working on my Zelda website. (Most of the time that I'd be working on it, I'm currently using to write for ShineGet.com). I have an odd sense of humor and I'm not very social (though I do have a small group of friends), though if I find myself in a crowd it's not like I'm shy or anything, I just don't like to be around a lot of people a lot. And, um, I can't think of anything else to say, so I guess that's it...
14.
Originally posted by OlgaTheDwarf I will camp out if I have to...
Heh, and I'll come with you. As a big fan of Tolkien's books, and of the first movie, I'm looking forward to it a lot. I just hope they're able to squeeze everything from the book into the movie. I didn't like how they cut parts from the book, in the movie.
15. Um, what exactly do you mean by "alias"? Do you mean, like, "King of Thieves" which is kind of Ganondorf's title?
16. Yeah, the GCN - GBA Link functions on the Sonic games pretty much just lets you take care of your Chaos on the GBA, so you take take them with you if you're going somewhere away from the GCN. I think you can also play a few extra mini-games, too. But anyway, unless you've got a game that supports a link function, there's no point in getting it. That's the reason I haven't gotten one, though I am when the two Metroid games are released.
17. There, I closed it TN said he would, but i guess he got too busy, thanks Des. -Cloud
18. The correct way, if you don't have any special CD cleaner stuff, is to get something like a soft towel, get it slightly damp (not dripping wet, just a bit moist) with a bit of water, and then gently wipe it from the inside edge to the outside edge. Trust me on this, I have a brother that's a computer engineer, and two others that are going for degrees in computer science, the older of which is getting his masters.

20. It's most likely a problem with the game disc. If it has too deep of a scratch, or if it's too dirty, that might be what's causing the game to freeze. If the disc is in good condition, I really don't know what else it could be...
21. Nope, you never have to get Epona in Ocarina of Time. She's quite useful for getting around quickly, and you can't get the Biggoron's Sword without her, but you don't actually need her. Right, in Oracle of Seasons, where do you get the sword upgrade? (Not the one in the Lost Woods, the one that you need the secret from a linked Oracle of Ages game in order to get).
22. You have to lift up the edge of the cartridge just a bit, and if you do it right, the person that blocks you from leaving the Forest will disappear. You're then free to explore Hyrule Field, and get all sorts of stuff that you're not supposed to be able to get yet. Okay, lets try one from Majora's Mask now: Do you have to beat the dungeons in a set order?
23. There's also Harvest Moon 1, 2, and 3, if you like that sort of thing. They're kind of RPGs, but not really like most others. I have Harvest Moon 2, and it's decent.
24. Nope. There aren't any torches in the room, the only enemy in the room is Gannon himself, and you can't light your farts in the game. That would just be...no, I don't think I'm even going to go there... But anyway, he holds up the Triforce of Wisdom, and that lights up the room. I guess I'll ask another one, since no one got that one, and I want to keep this thing moving. Okay, here's an easy one: In Ocarina of Time, where can the Sinking Lure be found?
25. Despite the fact that I can't get the image of the DOOM Marine walking along singing that stupid song out of my head, your posts have been pretty good. You might consider using fewer exclamation points and periods, though. One to three exclamation points and a simple three periods in a row is all that's necessary. Any more, and it just clutters up the sentence, and doesn't actually change anything. You can only yell so loud and a pause is a pause. People aren't going to sit there going down a full line of periods, lol. They're going to pause the same as if there were only three periods.
