Well, I assume that Herman is talking about pointy hats, as mentioned earlier in this thread... If so, though, he's wrong... I just started replaying OOT and I got to Kakariko Village, and I didn't see anyone wearing a pointy hat.

Bah. Playing video games for a few hours a day isn't going to make it so you can't talk to people and have a conversation. Heck, I play video games quite a bit, plus I'm also on the computer for a few hours each day, and I can have a decent conversation. I can also concentrate pretty dang well, when I want to, and especially if I'm interested in whatever it is. And for the last point, I think getting angry easier more depends on the person. If the person gets pissed at a game and is then in a bad mood because of it, of course they're going to be angered easier than normal. I'll sometimes get pissed at a game, but then I cool off pretty quickly, and I'm fine. If I'm not already in a bad mood, it can take quite a bit to really get me angry. Like James said, it is true, but only to a very minor extent.

Well, on www.nintendo.com it says that the game has been announced for the GCN. It doesn't give a release date, though. So, I'd assume that yes, it will be released on the GCN.

I just knew that 290 just wasn't right... I mean, really, 290? Why couldn't they have gone all the way to 300? ...That's what I had been asking myself ever since I got the game, and I may finally be getting an answer! If there are more unlockable trophies like these two new ones, then I may get my wish of 300 afterall. :) Samus has brown hair, though, not blonde! Just take a look at this screen shot from the original Metroid:

Link's Awakening and Link's Awakening DX (which is a remake, with added color and an extra hidden dungeon) is for the Game Boy. You don't get the Magic Rod until Level 8: Turtle Rock, though, so you'll have to play through the whole game to be able to shoot them and make them burn. But, I'm pretty sure you can also use the Magic Powder, though you have to go up and sprinkle it on them. Not as much fun as shooting them with the Magic Rod.
Originally posted by Queen Asuka I would not look at it for the longest time because I thought it was going to be one of those thingies where something jumps out at you. YES, I am paranoid...I hate those things with a passion...
Yeah, but it's a .jpg file, so that means it can't be animated...
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve This isn't the first time I've moved my head back and forth... ohh.. lol... that was a bad joke....
Yes, that was a very bad joke... Infact, it was so bad, that now I can't get it out of my head... Why *bangs head on desk* won't *bang* it *bang* come *bang* out?! *bang* :cross: But anyway, it was cool enough to save. I've also seen stuff like this before, though. Anything like that that plays tricks on your mind is kinda cool. :twitch:

Yeah, I was kind of hoping they'd just make one version, so you wouldn't have to trade to get all of the Pokémon... But, I guess that's supposed to be a big part of the Pokémon games, along with battling friends... *sigh* Oh well, I know that at least one of my friends is going to be getting one of the versions, so I'll have someone to trade with if I get one of the new ones.
-
One thing to add, though, is that you can also get more by doing Mystery Gift with someone else, or on Pokémon Stadium 2. It doesn't happen often, but it can happen.

Well, yeah... If they don't keep the games interesting, they're not going to do well, and they won't be very profitable...

The fourth Pokémon movie is coming to theaters in October, according to www.pokemon.com. For more info on the fourth movie, go here.

Sweeeeet... Those two-on-two battles are going to be tons of fun! I always thought it would be cool if you could battle with more than one Pokémon at once, and now I'll finally get to do it! :) Ruby and Sapphire, eh? Sounds like they crystallized Red and Blue, lol. :whoops:

Heheh, there's an easy way out of that. Just play the Sun's Song, and you'll still be in Kakariko Village, only you'll be where you last came into the town (such as one of the entrances, or the entrance to a building). Either that, or play one of the warp songs, and warp to another area. I've also had that happen, except that I jumped in the well to see if the Cuccos would still be able to get to me.

Well, I really couldn't give you a number (as to the number of the last FF game), but they'll probably keep making FF games as long as they're profitable. So far, the FF games have all been pretty popular, with a lot of people saying that FFX (the latest one to be released outside of Japan) is one of the best. I could see them continuing the series for quite awhile.
-
First off, I know all this because I like the FF series, and I wanted to know about the numbering so that I could keep straight which were which. Secondly, we weren't fighting, we were just trying to get it straight as to how many there are. Third, I didn't forget FF Chronicles or FF Mystic Quest; look at the list I posted, they're there. And last of all, I figured he might want to know what the games are, that's why I didn't just give a number. That post was spam, though, since you're not really answering the question originally asked. This is a thread for answering Parabola-'s question; if your post isn't answering that question, then it's off-topic, making it spam. Thread Closed

Mognet Central isn't in the north-west corner of the map, that's the Chocobo Paradise. Mognet Central is on an island that's north of the second continent (the north-eastern continent). But yes, there's a crack in a mountain, and you have to use a Dead Pepper while standing in front of the crack, while on your Chocobo. You can open up any mountain crack this way. And to be able to get into the Chocobo Paradise, I think that you have to have made your Chocobo gold. Not sure, though.

Okay, the first one is a soldier, which can be found down on the coast, one screen to the east of the Hero's Cave, in spring. The second is an Octorok, which can be found one screen south of the Subrosia Warp in Spool Swamp, in summer. The third is a Moblin, which can be found next to the entrance to Level 2: Snake's Remains, in autumn. The fourth and last is a Wolf Warrior which can be found two screens north of the gate that's the entrance to Tarm Ruins, in winter.

Well, if there are Cuccos in the new GCN game, you can count on being able to beat the crap out of them. :toothy: :twitch: It'll be fun to beat up cartoony Cuccos, heheh. Oh, yeah, just remembered something. In Link's Awakening, try using the Magic Rod on a Cucco or a dog. It buuuuurns!

Yeesh... this thread is over two weeks old... I'm pretty sure Dibi2004 has gotten past the first gym by now. Thread Closed

Actually, anyone can jump on the Goombas in SSBM and kill them that way, without doing a move. :smirk: And lets see, enemies that you can kill in Super Mario 64 by jumping on them... Goombas, Koopas, Fly Guys, Lakitos, Spindrifts, Skeeters, Scuttle Bugs, Bookends, and Piranha Flowers... That's 9 out of a total of 20 enemies that can be killed, which is almost half. :smirk: But anyway, my thoughts on the red Yoshi: I really hope that the different colors of Yoshis is the same as in Super Mario World, where they have different abilities (such as the red Yoshi being able to spit fireballs no matter what color shell it swollows). That would be really cool, because then you'd get different abilites with the water pack, along with different colored Yoshis with different abilites! And if you can use the water pack while riding a Yoshi... That just makes for even more possibilities... For the "hungry" and "juice," I'm thinking that that means that Yoshi is either hungry or thirsty... Either that, or you have to find specific kinds of food... And about the imposter standing right next to Peach and her butler, I agree with ElvenFoxKnight. They probably have been fooled, just like the villagers. That seems to make the most sense, anyway.

Well, it is getting closed, sorry. If people want to post up a code or trick or something, they can, but we don't need people posting threads just to say "post cheats here." That's pretty much the same as posting a thread to say "if you need help with a Pokémon game, post here." If people have a code or trick, they can make their own thread, just like people make their own helps threads; they don't need someone else to make one for them. Thread Closed

Yes, the Biggoron's Sword does twice as much damage as the Master Sword. So, yeah, it's pretty obvious that you'd want to use it, if you have it, which is why I didn't bother mentioning it. :twitch:

Well, that's weird... I have a GBA, and I've played both Pokémon Yellow and Gold on it, and they look fine to me... If it's not the picture being stretched to fit the wide screen on the GBA, I have no idea what it could be. It should work fine on the GBA, the only Game Boy games that might not work too well are the really old ones, like from around the time the Game Boy was first released. The Pokémon games are all new enough that they should work fine.

Why not just keep some Ethers or Mystery Berries on hand, to restore PP, instead of wasting one of your move slots on another fire type attack? That other move slot could be used for an attack of a different type, which would make it easier to defeat more types of Pokémon.
