Um, we aren't exactly "in the dark" about how he got them... He caught them in the Safari Zone, that's how he got them... It says in other episodes that that's where he got them.

So far, they haven't said whether they're making one of two versions of the GBA Pokémon game. I'm hoping they'll just make one, and leave it at that. It's annoying, having to trade to get all of the Pokémon. And the anime actually came out before R/B came out. Usually new Pokémon are shown in the anime and/or movies before the game with them is released. I'm not sure when the fifth season started, though.

The only thing I can think of that would make sense, for a certain Pokémon type having an advantage in a certain area, would be water Pokémon in the water. Like, when you're Surfing, then water Pokémon might get a bit of an advantage because they're in the water. Other than that, though, I can't think of any other places where it would make sense for a certain type to have an advantage. Well, considering that the Pokémon games are published by Nintendo and the Yu-Gi-Oh games are published by Konami, I don't think they're made by the same developer... I know Pokémon games are developed by GameFreak (the GB/GBC ones, anyway). I don't know who developes the Yu-Gi-Oh games. For the anime, it's highly possible, since GameFreak and Nintendo don't really have much to do with the Pokémon anime. It could be the same company, but the Pokémon anime doesn't have much to do with the games, except that the anime somewhat follows the story of the games.

What part of it are you stuck on? ...Or did you just want a walkthrough for the whole thing?
-
Okay, the next thing you'll want to do is play the Song of Time a second time, where you moved the blue block to rescue the second Goron, and then climb up the block to access another room. Block the flying tiles with your sword or shield, and be careful of the Like Like (the white blob thing). If it sucks you in, kill it quickly to recover you Hylian Shield and/or Goron Tunic.

Yeah, but Pikachu can't learn Hydro Pump... It can learn Surf, however, if you use it in every battle in the Master Ball Cup in Pokémon Stadium... It's really hard to get, but it comes in handy if you use Pikachu/Raichu on your team. A water type attack on an electric type isn't really expected. It'd make taking out ground types easier, since you'd also have an attack that it's weak against.
-
You know, Misdreavus is a pure ghost type, so it wouldn't be weak to Mewtwo's psychic type attacks... I'm not sure if it's very strong, though, since I don't have one yet... And he's probably looking for a G/S/C team because one of his friends or someone traded his/her Mewtwo from R/B/Y to G/S/C, and he wants to be able to stand a chance against it. And you can trade Pokémon from G/S/C to R/B/Y, they just can't be one of the new Pokémon or have any of the new moves.

Yes, it was called Holiday at Aopulco. It was in between Island of the Giant Pokémon and Tentacool & Tentacruel. There's a flashback to it in Hypno's Naptime, though, of Ash seeing his mom.

I've been hearing that it's going to come out this summer in Japan, and sometime in 2003 for the US. Oh, and I merged this and the "New Pix" thread, because they're both about the new Pokémon game coming out for the GBA.
-
Well, if you level it way up, it could win, but I don't think she (he?) wants to sit around leveling for hours on end right at the beginning of the game... And you get the TM that teaches Mudslap from Falkner... So you obviously have to beat him before you can get it, unless you have a Pokémon learns it naturally.
-
First off, there is a GBA Pokémon game being developed. It'll be released in the US sometime in 2003. That sounds kind of interesting, but aren't type advantages enough? And really, why would certain types get an advantage just because they're in a certain part of the world? Doesn't make sense to me... And when you say that Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh are made by the same people, Darkmoon, are you talking about the games or the anime?
Originally posted by NeoCactuar Gah, he climbs out of the crater, but he doesn't fly away. Only Ultima flies away. THEN the rest of them fly off. As i see this argument is not going to end, i suggest we do so now...
I don't think I made myself clear enough in my last post... First the WEAPON that attacks Junon flies away, then Diamond climbs out of the Crater, then Ultimate flies away, then the four blue streaks fly out of the Crater, two of which are Diamond and Ruby... Ultimate flies off second, not first. But yes, probably neither of us will change the other's mind...

To see a complete list of all the Final Fantasy games, go to this thread, and look at my post in it. As for FFVIII, I saw my brother play it a bunch, and it didn't look that good to me... Mainly because you had to sit around Drawing magic from enemies for so long... I mean, really, I don't want to sit around building up magic, I want to get on with the story! I dunno, I'll probably play though it sometime, though, since my friend has it on the PC. I can just borrow it, so if I really don't like it at all, I won't be wasting any money. :)

Okay, so maybe Luigi's Mansion is a little easier than most Mario games... But it was still hard to get some of those gold frames for the Portrait Ghosts... And Boolossus took me three tries to beat on the Hidden Mansion. Still, it is a bit short. I went through the regular mansion and Hidden Mansion in about two weeks, which really isn't that long, especially since that's pretty much like playing through the game twice. Super Maio 64 took me about a month the first time through, just to get to Bowser. Then there's all the other Power Stars to get, which took me even longer. Still, Luigi's Mansion is a good game, and I enjoyed playing through it. It did get a little boring towards the end of the Hidden Mansion, but that's because I was pretty much playing it through twice in a row. I wouldn't buy it, but I'd say it's worth a rental or two. As for Wario World, I'm just going to have to wait to say much about it. I've never played much of the Wario Land games for the GB/GBA, but the little I played of Wario Land II seemed a bit easy. I don't know if the whole game was that easy, or if all the Wario Land games are that easy, but I hope Wario World will be more challenging that what I played on Wario Land II. I think it's great that more people are finally accepting the cel-shaded look for Zelda, though. I actually like the cel-shaded look better than the realistic look, now. It really is how Zelda should look. :) Also, from what I've heard, the gameplay still has that classic Zelda feel to it, which is essential. Without that, it's, well, not a Zelda game... I really like how you'll be able to pick up the weapons of the enemies you've defeated. I can't wait to beat a Moblin about the head with his fallen buddy's staff, lol. :naughty:

Do you mean Level 3: Key Cavern? If so, it's just a couple screens east of Mabe Village. It's kind of tricky to actually get to, though, and there's some other stuff you have to do in between Level 2 and Level 3.
-
Um... I'm confused... Are you talking about the first room of the Fire Temple, then? Where exactly are you stuck at in the Temple, and what have you done so far?
-
Nothing... absolutely nothing... It's totally useless... It's just something to have. I'm not sure, but I think you can even get more than one. If you'll notice, it has the little item icon next to "Masamune" on the item screen, so it can't be equiped.

*looks* Yes, there's one on the same subject as this, on the first page... Go here, to view it. People have said how to get them it that thread already. Good catch, Harlequin! :) Thread Closed

Well, I've only ever seen the Fat Chocobo attack with Choco/Mog once, and that one time it paralyzed the boss I was fighting. Death Blow has never paralyzed anything, for me. Maybe there's more of a chance that it'll paralyze the enemy with Fat Chocobo, than Death Blow? Either that, or I just got lucky. You know, I've never seen Odin's other attack... I've only seen Gunge Lance... Maybe it's because I barely ever use my summons against normal enemies. I dunno, I'll have to try using it on some normal enemies to see if it does the other attack.

Yeesh... I haven't played FFIX for a long time... I suppose I should start up again, since I'm almost at the end of the third disc, and close to beating it. (Instead of replaying FFVII, lol). I actually haven't found him, yet... I think I know the town you're talking about, though... Is it that one up at the top of a mountain, that you have to cross a little bridge over a pool of water to get to? I think there's a waterfall right next to the entrance, that flows into the pool. I don't remember where on the map it is, though.

About time yourself, Flash! I've been waiting forever for you to post! I really had no idea where you were going, in the post before you last... :twitch: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [Drake and Flash head down the hill, towards the shop. When they finally get there, they open the door and walk in. Inside, there's a beautiful young woman behind the counter, reading a book to pass the long night hours. She looks up at the pair, and smiles. Shopkeeper: Hi! Are you looking for anything in particular? Drake: Well, I could use some new boots. These are getting old, and it wouldn't do to have my feet hurting on the journey ahead. Drake takes off his left boot, and puts it on the counter. Drake: Do you have any like this, in a size nine? Shopkeeper: Sure, just a minute! I'll go get them! Drake browses the weapons displayed in the front room, looking at the different staffs and knives. He picks up a large oak staff and experiments with the balance, swinging it around, testing the weight. Drake: You were right when you said they have the best here. This is a good staff, but I think I like my quarterstaff better. Flash: Come to think of it, you're the only white mage I've seen with a quarterstaff, instead of a regular staff. Drake: I find a quarterstaff more useful, when fighting... That, and it seems like it's better at warding off attacks, from a sword or something like that... The shopkeeper walks back into the front room, with a pair of boots. Shopkeeper: Okay, here you go! Would you like anything else? Drake: Yeah, but I'd like to try these on first. Just a minute. Drake takes off his other boot, and then sits down and puts the new pair on. He walks around the shop a bit, until he comes back to the counter. Drake: These fit great! I'll also take three Ethers, and can I sell my old pair of boots? Shopkeeper: Sure! The shopkeeper takes three Ethers out from under the counter, and sets them down. She rings up the boots and Ethers, and subtracts the price for Drake's old boots. Shopkeeper: Okay, that'll be 5,500 Gil! Drake: Yeesh... almost out of money... Drake takes out his money pouch, and counts out 5,500 Gil. He then puts it down on the counter, and picks up the Ethers. He only has 2,413 Gil left, but now has five Ethers. Shopkeeper: Thanks! Hope to see you again! Drake walks back over to Flash, who's looking thoughtfully at a deep, navy blue robe. Drake grins, and whispers so the shopkeeper won't hear. Drake: You were right, she is cute! Seems a bit hyper, too, though. So, you gonna get anything?

Yeah, like I said, I think you got pretty lucky on that one... I've never been able to catch anything with a Friend Ball... And I didn't mean Friend Balls work better on Pokémon that evolve when they're friendly enough. I meant that it's good to catch them with Friend Balls so they'll already be somewhat tame, so it won't take as long for them to evolve.

Okay, I have a file saved at the last save point before that CG scene, and I just went and watched it again... And here's what I saw: Okay, first I saw a big blue WEAPON come out of the Crater, that looks like the one that attacks Junon (which, by the way, had a big jet on it's back, so that's what it's using to move through the water when you see it in the submarine). Then I saw Diamond WEAPON climbing up out of the Crater. Then I saw Ultimate WEAPON fly off, after one has already flown off; Ultimate doesn't fly off first. Then I saw four blue streaks (the reason I didn't remember any red streaks is because there aren't any, they're blue) come out of the Crater. I could only see two of them clearly, though, and those two where Ruby and Diamond WEAPON... So I only actually saw four WEAPONs... And two blue streaks... If each each of those streaks is a WEAPON, though, that would mean there are six WEAPONs, not five. The one that attacks Junon flies off first, then Ultimate flies off. Then you see four streaks fly off. If two have already flown off and there are four streaks after that, that makes six... And there aren't six WEAPONs... I don't know what those other two streaks are, but all I know is that I only saw four WEAPONs... Not five, not six, you only see four...
