1. Yeah, that's all we need... A couple thousand more members, all at once... The place would be over-run! There'd be complete chaos! Spam, everywhere! ...Ahem... you get my point... :twitch: Heh, sounds like fun. Don't worry, you probably won't screw up... And if you do, try to do it in a funny way!
2. Isn't this a favorites thread? I think I'll close it... *gets threatened with a rolled-up newspaper* Eep! *runs* Version 3 was my favorite. I joined about a month after V3 started, and I had lots of fun during the first couple months here. Most of my great memories of the board are from V3.

Sequals?

Well, I wouldn't want it based on the same story as one of the games, but in the same world. Like Flash said, about the War in FFVII. I think that'd be a great idea, have the movie tell more about one of the games. Expand upon the game, add more to it... That sort of thing...

...I can't understand "L33T" at all... Bleck...

Bomberman

Hmmm... *pops over to the nintendo.com game list* It was released in May of 2000, in the US, so it's been out for awhile now. You'll likely be able to find it used, if you look hard enough. The Nintendo 64 is dead, but it's not really old, like the Super NES... Oh, man... the Super NES, really old... It seems just a couple years ago that I was playing Super Mario Kart for the first time... *sigh* ...I wish I could go back to that time, when the Super NES and Genesis were battling it out... Back before games had ventured into the realm of 3D... Oh, how I loved my sprites and Mode 7 scaling and rotation...
6.
Originally posted by Warlock Happy birthday you spoony Admins!
Heheheh... Look at the attachment... Had to post it when I saw this, LOL... Happy birthday Adam and James! *throws a cake at them* ...Whoops, I'll go get the hose... I didn't know you guys had the same birthday... That is kind of weird...
7. Wow, you actually used all of them... There must be around 15 Link avatars now, LOL. When I heard that new avatars were wanted, I spent two whole days doing pretty much nothing but making Zelda avatars. :toothy: The Sheik one is my favorite out of them. I noticed something, though. The Boba Fett avatar on page 9 is on there twice in a row. Also, the King Zora (Ocarina of Time) one of mine is on both page 10 and page 12.

Sequals?
Originally posted by BulmaVegeta1 Mine would take too long to explain.
Then what was the point of posting that? Really, that was complete spam... And yeah, I think The Spirits Within should have been about one of the existing FF games. Probably would've been much better...
9. Well, if you're new, spamming once or twice can be excused if it's not on purpose. But by now you should know what spam is, though, so in the future it won't be excused. Hopefully, the rules will be back up soon... If anyone sees some spam, you can use the "Report this post to a moderator" function, and it will be dealt with. You don't need to get after the person for it. It will be taken care of by the moderators soon enough.

Who was it that was giving you false information? And do you know if he/she knew that it was false?
11. Okay, when I first saw this thread, I wasn't sure what it was... I decided to see what other people would make of it... There doesn't really seem to be any point to it, though, so I'm closing it. Thread Closed.
12.
Originally posted by goldmaster23 Weezing... Sludge Attack (I can hear it now) That does make the opponent poisoned... And remember, James Was planning to teach it Hyper Beam...
Really? Hyper Beam? Now that'd be cool... If I had known that, I might have voted differently... I changed my vote from Victreebel to Weezing, by the way, because I accidentally voted for Victreebel instead of Weezing. So I changed it to what it should be. :)
13. Yes, I am very happy to read this information! Reading that just kept making me want the game more and more... I may just have to get it, when it's released! Thanks for the information!
14. Drake woke up the next morning, if you could call it that, and looked out the bedroom window. The storm hadn't changed from the previous night at all, and neither had the light. It still seemed just as dark outside as it had when he has stumbling through the trees on his way home. Getting out of bed, Drake stretches and yawns. He locates his slippers at the foor of the dresser. He steps into them, and then opens one of the dresser drawers. Pulling out a greenish-grey robe, that matches the color of his cloak, he puts it on. Walking out into the livingroom, he yawns again. Drake: Ahhh! that's just what I needed! A good nights sleep, and now for breakfast! He walks over to the stove, and starts the fire going again, using the last of the wood he brought in last night. Shortly, the fire is blazing again, and hot enough to cook over. Drake turns away from the fire, and opens a cupboard in the corner up onb the wall above the stove. He pulls out a large frying pan, which he sets on the stove. Then, looking down at a lower shelf, he starts to rummage among the various foods in the cupboard. Drake: Pancakes! that's what I need! Big, round, golden, fluffy pancakes! Just the thing for a morning like this! Tari: Huh? A what like this? Tari comes flying out from under her blanket on the table. She yawns, and then flies up over Drake. Drake: Good morning! I was just making breakfast! Tari: You're certainly in a cheerfull mood today, considering the weather. Drake: I've got plenty of reason to be happy! We're going exploring today! Tari: Oh, yeah, the pool... Drake: You sound like you don't want to go and have a look... Tari: Well... I've never really liked water that much... Drake: This coming from someone that can hold their breath 5 times as long as me... Tari: Just 'cause Fairies can hold their breath for longer than usual, doesn't mean all of us like water... Note: Okay, so I'm kind of making this up... But hey, how did Navi survive all that time underwater in the Water Temple? Has to be some explanation... Drake: Maybe if you spent more time in the water, you'd start to like it more! I love swimming, it's so refreshing! Drake starts mixing up the pancake batter in a large bowl from the cupboard, as he and Tari talk. He sits in his chair, beating in the ingredients together with a large spoon. Drake: It's not like you have to fear drowning. You get about so fast in the water that I bet you could go from the bottom back up to the top of that pool in 5 seconds... And that looked like a deep pool! Tari: Hey, what's for breakfast? Drake: Trying to change the subject? Heheheh, I'm mixing up some pancakes. And I even have some Deku syrup left! Drake pours the mixed up batter into the frying pan, making three large pancakes. He gets out a spatula and flips the pancakes expertly, as each side cooks. Once they're done, he flips each one into the air, and down onto a plate on the small table. Then, reaching up into the highest shelf in the cupboard, he withdraws a small bottle of Deku syrup and sets it next to the pancakes. Drake: There! breakfast is served! They have breakfast while listening to the thunder crash, and the winds howl outside. Inside the house, however, it is very comfortable indeed. The fire has warmed the room nicely, and the smell of pancakes lingers in the air. They give little thought to what lays ahead that day, while they eat. They focus instead on simply finishing the three huge pancakes. By the time all three are gone, they're so full they can hardly move. Drake: I think... I made... too much... Tari: Ohhh... I think you're right... They both stand up and yawn once again. Slowly, Drake walks back towards the bedroom. Drake: I'm going to go get dressed... Be ready to go in an hour... Drake gets dressed and dawns his cloak, and starts putting things into his backpack. He pulls out a large box from under his bed. Drake: Lets see... a few Deku Sticks, Nurs, Bomb Bag, Boomerang, Goron Bracelet, Bottle of Lon Lon Milk, Bottle of plain water, a Bottle of... nothing! Just then, he sees a couple small spiders scurrying across the fool, out from under the bed. Drake: A Bottle of nothing no longer! He scoops up the small spiders in the Bottle, and shoves the cork into the opening. Drake: Lets see, what else... Oh yes! my Fairy Ocarina! I wouldn't want to forget that, even if it is a bit hard to hear out in the storm. Lets see now... I'll be wearing the Deku Shield, quiver, and Fairy Bow on my back under the backpack... That leaves... my knife! He pulls out a long utility knife in its sheath, and puts his belt through a loop in the back of the sheath. He then buckles his belt again. He then straps his Bow and quiver to his back, with his Deku Shield over them so that the Bow sticks up just enough to be accessable. He checks his Rupee pouch on his belt, opposite the knife. Drake: Hmm... I suppose I haven't really needed to buy anything much... Only 35 Rupees left... He shoulders his pack, and steps out of the bedroom. Drake: Well, how do I look? Tari: Like you're going somewhere? Drake: Oh, you're a big help... Are you ready to go? Tari: Yeah, I'm ready to go. Drake: Well then, lets go! Tari flies back down into the small pocket in Drake's cloak, and he opens the front door. A gust of wind nearly blows Drake over, as he steps out into the storm. He starts off in the direction he went yesterday, retracing his path. Finally, he finds the rope tied to the tree where he left it the other day. He unties it, and starts to climb. Drake: Oof! this is a lot harder, carrying all this stuff! Tari: So where are we going then? Drake: To the pool, of course! Tari: No, that's not what I meant! I meant after we take another look at the pool, where are we going? We must be going somewhere else, or you wouldn't be carrying all that stuff! Drake: You're right, I wanted to explore the land back from it, and along this cliff. After a long struggle, Drake pulls himself over the edge of the cliff. He stand for a bit, panting, and then looks up. And he sees it again, off a ways from the edge of the cliff, that sparkling blue water. He almost runs to its edge, and kneels down by the bank. Again, he peers down into the depths, and notices that the edges drop of very steeply. And then he notices it again... The calm around close to its surface. The storm around him seems distant, almost like a dream. And he also notices that the surface of the pool is perfectly still this time, not effected in any way by the rain beating down into it. Drake: Amazing... Tari: There has to be some magic about this thing... Drake: Woah! Ah! Oh no! Drake didn't realize that he was edging ever closer to the waters edge, until finally he slipped on a wet rock. Yelling, he went crashing down into the still water of that deep, sparkling pool, and Tari with him inside his cloak...
15. Umm... what do you mean, The Trauma Of The X-Box? You need to make yourself a bit clearer... And why are you so eager to hear complaints? Don't you hear enough from me, whenever I see you? :toothy:
16. Yeah, on Mega Man X the L and R buttons just scrolled through your weapons so you didn't have to go to the menu screen... Lets see, I think Y was shoot, B was jump... I can't remember A and X doing anything... But like I said, I might get it. Depends on its difficulty... I'm not very good at Megaman games... :cross:
17.
Originally posted by Mike BUT IT!!!! Awesome game..:)
This's kind of old, for the kind of topic that it is... I'd made up my mind about whether or not to buy it quite awhile ago... So, I don't really need any more oppinions about it. That, and I was looking for information about it, not just a "is it good or bad?" answer. (I decided not to buy it after all, because I'm going to need the money for Zelda, Mario, Metroid, and Star Fox, by the way. I'd still like to buy it if I ever get enough money, though). But anyway, for threads like this, if they're kind of old, we don't really need more replies. Because, like I said, the person that posted it has probably already made up their mind whether to get the game in question or not. Thread Closed.
18. Great idea, James! I think having different sizes as your post count goes up is pretty clever. *goes off to make the one he's using 80x80*
19. I merged the two Golden Sun help threads that you posted.
20. *slaps Flash and Sephiroth with a dead trout* Now stop spamming, you hear! I've got my answer, okay? *deletes posts, then hides in a dark corner*
21. I think this is the best version of OtakuBoards yet! ...Although, I never did get to really see V1 or V2... But out of V3, V4, and V5, I like V5 the best! Love the colors, just as much as V4! But yeah, do we still get bigger avatars? Or should I stick with the one that I'd been using? (Which I was using since I got to 500 posts. I'm not really one for much change, LOL).
22.
Originally posted by Sephiroth look back at a previous emerald weapon thread, I think its the one that I made, I don't remember the title exactly though....
*goes back and searches, and searches, and searches* Okay, I can't find it... Could you just tell how to do it, again? By the way, I finally mastered KOTR, and got another Master Summon Materia. Now I've done everything but get one Enemy Skill, and get All Lucky Sevens... Unfortunatley, I accidentally overwrote my game, when I started a new game... So now I'm playing through again, and I'm going to get this game up to the level of my old game. (Meaning that FFVII is going to take another 100+ hours of my life, LOL).
It seems that everyone likes Sephiroth, LOL. I think Vegeta'sSon went "Beep Beep" in sort of the same way... Anyway, I deleted those two posts. Only honk in a post with other content, the post should not just be the honk...... HONK! ...:D I think it'd be really cool if the made a prequel to FFVII. Set during the war, and you could play as Sephiroth, maybe? I think something along those lines would be really good.
24. You know what I'd want, for a model of a FFVII summon? I'd want Choco/Mog, only of it when it does that BIG Chocobo that falls down on top of the enemies. That's one of my favorite summons, when it does that, LOL. I guess it kind of reminds me of the Fat Chocobo from FFII/IV. Other than that, I think I'd want Bahamut ZERO. It's my favorite summon in FFVII... Even if I do get really sick of watching it over and over again... :twitch:
25. You're all crazy, the handle is by far the GCN's best feature, LOL. Seriously, though, the first party games *cough*Zelda*cough* are the main reason I like the GCN. And the second party games, also. Can't be forgetting Metroid Prime, now can we? :) It's going to be the first first person shooter that I'll have ever bought, and probably the first one that I'll really actually like. Perfect Dark was good (I rented and beat it on co-operative with my brother), but I mainly only liked the deathmatch. Metroid Prime looks as though it's going to change my oppinion about first person shooters.
