Yeah, the way that I did it was with Jigglypuff's Rest (Down+B) move... I've heard of people doing it with other characters, but I don't see how. Whenever you get close to them, Giga Bowser just smacks you away. The only way I know of doing it is to just get really lucky with Jigglypuff... It really helps if you can KO Giga Bowser all three times before you get KO'd. A tip for beating it with Jigglypuff: Jump up in the air and use Jigglypuff's Pound (Left/Right+B) move on Giga Bowser, and then Rest (Down+B). If you use Pound before using Rest, there's a higher chance that you'll KO Giga Bowser with one hit from Rest.
Originally posted by Nerdsy Thank you for posting that. Now I've finally seen a shot of the game... I love those graphics! I mean, for crying out loud, that's just awesome! Those may be cartoony, but they're the best cartoony graphic's I have ever seen! I think this is actually an improvement over OoT and MM. If you can't tell, I like cartoony games.
If you want to see more screen shots, and the trailer that was shown at Space World, go here. www.ign.com has about the best quality screen shots and movie that I've seen.

I think people complain because they haven't ever really played the first three Zelda games. The GB/GBC games are on, well, the GB/GBC, so they're obviously not going to have good graphics. I think it's mainly people that haven't played the first three that are complaining, because we all got spoiled with Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Now that the graphics aren't realistic anymore, the people that started with Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask don't like it because they've never played the first three. Anyone that's played the original can tell you that the graphics really don't matter (see attachment). The original The Legend of Zelda kept being manufactured long after the SNES was released, and it was in the top ten NES games for years and years, if it wasn't on top itself. And you know when The Legend of Zelda was released? It was released in 1987, only two years after the launch of the NES. And it kept selling for about five years, maybe even longer! Even after graphics improved by quite a bit on the NES (not to mention the revolutionary graphics of the SNES), it still kept selling.

Drake stumbled along towards the Chocobo Ranch, his head swimming and his vision getting blury. Drake: Where... am I? Can't... see... He continues forward in a straight line, barely being able to see where he's going. He stumbles, falling onto his knees, and he begins to crawl. Only a few more yards to the door... He manages to yell, his lunges burning in his chest. Drake: Help... me!!! He reaches the doorstep and callapses, his consciousness fading. The last thing he remembers before blacking out is the door opening, and hearing a gasp...

No, it's not true. I've gotten all of the stages, and when I did, it told me that I had unlocked all of them. There's 29 stages in all.

I really doubt it's gold plated, LOL. That would get very expensive, very quickly, if they made many of them. It would be kind of cool, though...

Ways that Luigi is different from Mario: 1. Luigi jumps higher, but he jumps and falls slower, also. Kind of like when you float with a cape, but not as slow, and on the way up also. 2. Luigi runs slower. 3. Luigi's fireballs bounce higher. 4. When Luigi hits a block with a bunch of coins in it, they all burst out at once (applies to most, but not all). 5. When you eat an enemy while riding Yoshi, you'll keep the enemy in Yoshi's mouth for a bit before Yoshi swallows it. During this time you can spit the enemy out to damage other enemies. 6. Flying with a Cape is slightly different. You have to hold back on the + Control Pad for a bit, instead of just tapping it. It also seems harder to maintain the same altitude and fly level. Those are all of them that I can think of.

Miyamoto has said that he's changing the look of Link's eyes, so I think that the face is going to look better. It'll be playable at E3 2002, so we'll get to see how it's been changed then...

Well, it depends on the pictures... Some take up more space than others. I'd say that the average size of a picture is about 7-9 blocks... I've taken some that were as big as 13, though. It tells you how big they are, before you save them, also.

Yeah, I remember me and my brother doing the Multi-Man Melees. My brother did the 15-Minute Melee, using Donkey Kong, and by the end his thumb was sore from tapping the B button so much. He did it first try, but there were some close calls. Like one time, there was this Bomb Omb that we didn't see, and it started walking towards DK, and it exploded when the hand slap shockwaves hit it. It almost hit DK... but not quite. We would've been really pissed if it had knocked him off, because there was only a couple minutes left, at that point.

Okay, I think it's been said enough, about using the Megaton Hammer... People are just repeating what other people have already said, over and over again. Thread closed.

Drake: Damn, that thing is strong! Drake runs as fast as he can, weaving left and right. The Zolom is following, waiting for just the right time to strike... It tenses up, ready to lunge... Drake looks behind him and sees the Zolom about to strike, and he flings himself to the right. He's to late, though, and the Zolom catches his leg with it's fangs, making a small gash in the side of his left leg. Drake falls on the ground, and realizes that he won't be able to run much farther... Some venom is in the wound. Rage builds up in Drake, as the pain in his leg grows. He jumps up, still able to stand, but the leg hurting immensely as he stands... almost to the point of making Drake pass out. He dives to the side again, and dodges the Zolom's next attack. Drake: That [censored] is too fast! [censored]! He aims his rocket launcher, and uses his Limit Break, Magic Missile. It hits the Zolom square in the head, as it starts to lunge at Drake. It rears back in pain, and shakes as the electric current flows through it's body, momentarily stunning it. Drake runs, as fast as his wounded leg allows, and sees that it's only a few yards to the edge of the marsh. New hope fills him, and he manages to summon up some extra speed. The Zolom has recovered, and is in persuit again, enraged by the attack. Drake dives onto firm ground, and rolls, just avoiding another lunge from the Zolom... He's made it out of the marsh, but he knows he doesn't have long before the venom starts to take effect. Drake: Out of the frying pan and into the fire, damnit... What's next, a group of bandits? He starts off towards the Chocobo Ranch, hoping to find help there... And possibly the antidote for the Zolom's venom. Limping as fast as he can, he starts to feel light headed. It won't be long at all, before he passes out...

More painful!? Personally, I think Omnislash would be pretty dang painful! And I think Aeris dying helped to move the plot along quite a bit. It was pretty unexpected for me, because nothing even gave you a hint about it or anything. All of a sudden, Sephiroth just drops down and, bang, she's dead... I did cry when she died... It got one tear out of me, which is the best any video game has gotten so far. I think that any video game that can get you to cry is a good one; it shows that you've gotten attached to the characters.

Yes, I can help. I've beaten it and gotten all 96 gates, and all the Dragon Coins on two different files. One playing as Mario, the other playing as Luigi. On the Mario file, my score is maxed out. :D To find the secret exit on that level, Valley of Bowser 2, you have to go all the way through the area with the floor that moves up and down. When you go through the pipe at the end of that area, you'll drop onto a floor that starts moving up when you land on it. Jump up the "steps" and get a running start; there'll be a gap in the ceiling, with a pit beneath it which has a Mega Mole in it. Fly up into it and to the left, using a Cape, and run to the left. You'll drop down into the area with the secret exit.

Heh, yeah, my brother and my friend do that... Actually, this reminds me of a funny picture that my friend took in the camera mode. I was playing as Link, he was controlling the camera, and we had a CPU Zelda and CPU Ganondorf. Well, I happened to get knocked up into the air by Zelda, and I came down head first. Zelda was crouching right next to where I landed, and... Well, it looked like Zelda was looking up Link's tunic as he was landing on the ground... My friend has his GCN hooked up to his PC monitor, because he doesn't have a TV, so he can view the snapshots and then do a screen capture to save the pictures on his PC. I'm going to bring my Memory Card over to his house and do that with my pictures so I can get them off the Memory Card and take more. When I do, I'll post that picture and a couple other funny ones. It was hilarious... we were laughing really hard when he took that picture. There were a couple others that I deleted, also... I won't mention them here...

There were two rumor threads on the first page, so I merged them. And no, you can't fight Ganondorf as young Link in Ocarina of Time.

There is no eel in the pond. The Loach looks kind of like an eel, and it's the biggest fish in the pond, but there's no eel.

Well, technically speaking, the GCN isn't an actual cube... So you're right when you say it looks rectangular. It's just that in the picture of the Indigo one, it's at an angle that makes it look more like a cube. Also, that picture of the Indigo one is really old, like, when it was first being displayed to the public in the Indigo and Jet colors. So, the dimensions could have changed ever so slightly, and we never knew about it...
Originally posted by Darkmoon Really? so if I were to name a pikachu blue, would it be blue colored in the stadium game? Unfortunatly I don't have the pokemon stadium game, but it's interesting to know:D
I don't know if it'd turn it blue, but it wouldn't be the normal color. It doesn't change the Pokémon to completely different colors, though, it keeps the same patterns and stuff. It just has a different tint to it, I guess... It's hard to describe... If you have Super Smash Bros. Melee for the GCN, it's kind of like when you change you characters color, on Mewtwo... And I think that'd be one crazy looking Pikachu! That'd be really weird... And judging from that post, I'd say that you're somewhat crazy...
Originally posted by jcgoudy I'd say that you're somewhat crazy...
that has to be the meanest thing i have in a while lol... nice way to put that ;)--kuja
Originally posted by Cloud Celes is the best.... She like the only female character that is more efficient in attacking than some guys...
And she sings, too! For some reason, I didn't like the opera part when I was watching my brothers play... But when I actually did it for myself, it became one of my favorite parts in the game!... I really like the song, now, too. When I was playing and listening to it, it brought a tear to my eye... :bawl: Yes, I like video games that much... Only a couple of games have gotten that reaction from me, though, and another one of them was when Aeris died in FFVII...
Originally posted by Krillen Thanks, I have somthing else to add........In training mode, you have to get 11 hit combo to get a trophie, and a 21 hit combo for another tropie, and a total for all characters of 126 for one more. the thing is i dont know how to pull combos, any tips?
YES! Thank you! I only have 10 trophies left to get, and I can't get anymore from the lottery, and I've beaten the game with all the characters on Classic, Adventure, and All-Star... So now I'm looking for hidden trophies... Anyway, I'm not sure if it'll work, but you might try Fox's Blaster. It doesn't make them flinch, so you can just keep shooting them forever without worrying about KOing the CPU character, and it's really fast. Also, try cornering the CPU character against a wall and using Link's quick, light hits. That worked in the first Super Smash Bros.
Originally posted by RicoTranzrig I think the japanese one has a handle while the U.S. version doesn't because it isn't that heavy...
The US GCN has a handle, I was saying that the Q doesn't have one.
Originally posted by Squashed Snail I have the black one too, it's just that the Indigo one looks alot.... squarer than the black one.
Squarer? I'm not sure what you mean, LOL... I've seen them both up close, and they looked the same to me... weird...
Originally posted by Solid Snake or do you possibly need to know exactly what steps to step on in the room with the golden gun?
That's the Egyptian level, not the Aztec level, LOL... I remember my brother and his friend trying like mad to beat it on 00 Agent, and having to restart over, and over, and over again... I pretty much got most of that level burned into my head. :cross:
Originally posted by Squashed Snail Yeah, I suppose so. But I still enjoy Mario Kart 64, even though Super Circuit out for the GBA. I mean, I really enjoy beating my friends at Mario Kart 64. Most of my friends don't have a GBA, so I can't really play against them on Super Circuit..... :)
Yeah, that's one thing about Super Circuit... Only one of my friends has it, so I've never gotten to play Battle Mode with more than two people. I like the controls and track design better in Super Circuit, though (that and it has the tracks from Super Mario Kart, also!). I do prefer Battle Mode on Mario Kart 64 over Super Circuit, but usually I'm playing by myself, so that's why I like Super Circuit more.
Originally posted by James Zelda is a different matter -- but mainly due to the controls (it'd be tough to make a 3D Zelda with the GBA controls). But still...it could be done. And it could be great. :)
I think it could be done... You'd only be able to use one secondary item at a time, but it could be done pretty well... You could use the A Button for your sword, B for a secondary item, L for targeting, R for raising your shield, Select for going into first person view, and Start to access the item screen and all that. I think that'd work pretty well. Now, if only Nintendo will make one...   .......... Oh, sorry about that... *cleans up all the drool* :D

I'd like to see a Pokémon game on the GCN, but not one like Stadium 1 and 2... I'd want one that's an adventure, like the GB games, except in 3D. Or better yet... an online Pokémon game! One where you could design your own character, and then be able to actually battle other people while on your journey. Wouldn't that be cool?
