LOL! ;) I also think it's funny that the GBA has had the most successful launch out of any system, and that it's also on top. Nintendo is gotta be raking in the dough from the GBA... I think it'd be fine if they just remade the old Final Fantasy games on the GBA... That's what I'm mainly looking forward to. It'd be nice if they ported FFX and FFXI to the GCN, but I mainly just want FFIV, FFV, and FFVI on the GBA. If they don't port FFXI to the GCN, I can always just get it for the PC...

Well, I would do that, except that I don't have the patience for it... I'd like to know how to play it better, but I don't want to take the time to do it. :whoops: It's like how I kind of want to learn to play the flute, but not enough to actually do it...

Yeah, but Panasonic isn't planning on releasing it anywhere except Japan... And only in limited quantities, there... You think it looks... sexy? Have you talked to a therapist about this? I think it looks okay, but I like the look of the normal GCN better. That, and it doesn't have a handle... Well, okay, so it does kind of have those two on the top... But they don't really look like they'd be very useful for carrying it. Drake: Oh crap... oh crap... The engine that got hit is now belching smoke, and the plane is rapidly losing altitude... He quickly grabs his rocket launcher, Materia, and he straps on his parachute. Drake: I'll miss you, Flare Dancer... He pushes the eject button, and the canopy flies off. Drake is shot up into the air, and he pulls the cord on his parachute. The chute opens, and he starts to drift towards the far edge of the marsh. Drake: Where is it?! Drake uses Sense, to see where the closest Zolom is. Drake: Good... it's a ways off... I think I can make it... A few feet off above the ground, Drake releases the parachute and drops to the ground, rolling as he lands. He's about three quarters of the way across the marsh. As soon as he stands up, he starts running for the edge of the marsh... And the safety of the Chocobo Ranch. Drake: It had to have noticed me by now... He uses Sense again, and finds that the Zolom is after him, closing in fast. He's nearing the edge of the marsh, but he's not going to make it before the Zolom catches him... Drake: Well, this ought to be fun... He pulls out a Lightning Materia (Lv.1) and puts it into one of the empty slots in his rocket launcher. He uses Sense again, and finds that the Zolom is only a few feet behind him... He pulls a granade off of his belt, pulls out the pin, and drops it as he's running... The granade explodes, and he hears a roar from the Zolom, the granade having exploded right above where the Zolom was burrowing through the marsh. It emerges from the marsh, and rears up, ready to strike. Drake dives to the side, and just barely avoids the attack. Rolling as he lands, Drake jumps up again and turns momentarily, to fire a rocket at the beasts head. He scores a hit, and is rewarded with a roar of pain. Drake turns and continues running. Drake: I'm not gonna let that (censored) get me! He uses Sense, only to find that he's barely hurt the monster...
Originally posted by Squashed Snail But it still dissapoints me when I think that I could've scored $100 from it.... Just think, it's only a piece a foil or something..... nothing like gold....
Yeah, I know... I remember when the cards were first getting really popular, and a Charizard would sell for $100... Man, I wish I'd had mine then... Funny Story: One day I went to a comic book store to buy two Base Set Booster Packs, and the two rare cards that I really wanted was a Charizard, and a Zapdos. Well, I get home and I open up the first pack. I look through the cards, and what do I find? A Charizard! After a minute of dancing around my room for joy, I opened up the second pack... Yep, you guessed it... I got a Zapdos... I couldn't believe it. Those were the two cards that I wanted most, and I just happened to get them! At the same time! I mean, what were the odds of that happening? Pretty low, since those were two of the rarest cards in the Base Set! Isn't that weird?

Speaking of different colored Pokémon, did you know that a Pokémon's name will determine it's color on Pokémon Stadium 1 and 2? It's interesting to try out different nicknames to see the different colors.
Originally posted by Squashed Snail Try catching Missingno, and trading it to Yellow. Then reanme him to "Mew". He evolves not long after that into Mew.
After you trade a Pokémon, you can't rename it. You'd have to rename it before you trade it. Still, I don't like messing with missingno... That thing is a disaster waiting to happen (your game getting erased). By the way, don't transfer missingno over to Pokémon Stadium 1 or 2. If you do, it might make your Transfer Pak stop working for transfering Pokémon.

FFIV: Use Lit 3 with Tellah, Twin with Palom and Porom, and fight with Cecil and Yang (if you have a Thunder Claw for Yang, be sure and equip it. I'm not sure if you can get one at that point in the game, though). I'm not sure, but I think that you want to avoid hitting it with physical attacks when it has water gathered around itself. Lit 3 does a TON a damage; it does even more when it has water gathered around itself (I've had it do 9999 damage). FFVI: Yes, you need to go to the Esper Cave, which is located on the far east side of the continent. You'll see a bridge, and when you go over it you'll go into a base. Before you move on, check to see if you can get into the room in the center of the base, because it has lots of good stuff in it. Sorry I can't help with FFV or FFX, but I haven't played them... I hope that FFX is ported to the GCN!

There's two different colors of GCNs. The blue-ish purple one is Indigo, and the black one is Jet. That, and there's going to be a third color, Spice (orange), coming out soon. There's no difference, except for the color. I got the Jet GCN, because I didn't want it to match my Indigo GBA. That, and I just like black and/or grey systems. :)

Share equipment? What do you mean? The game was almost exactly the same, if you just play on Mario. The only thing that's really different is that when you have a Fire Flower or Cape, and you get hit, you don't go directly back to small Mario, you go back to Super Mario. Other than that, it's pretty much the exact same thing...
Originally posted by Squashed Snail Do you think they'll make Super Mario Kart 64 witht he use of that system on the GBA? If they do, that'll be.... be.... be..... erm... what's the word again.... AWESOME!! :excited:
Who needs Mario Kart 64, when there's already Mario Kart: Super Circuit?
Originally post by James  The idea of Mario 64 on a handheld is simply orgasm inducing. :tasty: :drunk: :excited: ;)
eeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! I agree, though... Super Mario 64 on the GBA would be simply amazing... ...Wait a minute... Can we say 3D Zelda on the GBA?   Ohhhhhhhh yeahhhhhhh... *fantasizes about playing Ocarina of Time on the GBA* I can't believe that this is actually possible... Nintendo actually said that the GBA isn't meant to be able to do 3D graphics to this extent! And now this! AGH! Too much to handle! Head... is... going... to... EXPLODE!!! AAAAGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!

Did you break the record when you were a kid, before you broke it when you were an adult? Either that, or you didn't get a big enough fish when you broke the record as an adult... Those are the only two possibilities I can think of, as to why you didn't get the Golden Scale...

Drake: I guess I might see you around, then... Ken: Maybe so... Drake walks back into the alley, and heads for the airport. Drake: (thinking) Ah, a flight... That's what I need... Something to clear my mind. Drake arives at the airport, and walks over to his plane, the Flare Dancer. Drake's plane closely resembles the Tiny Bronco, but painted red and black, in a strange wave pattern. Drake: Ah, it's been too long since I've flown... Must be at least a couple of weeks, now... He climbs in, and starts the engine. Checking everything, he prepares to take off. He opens up a compartment and takes out a pair a goggles, which he straps on. Once he makes sure that everything is in the green, he starts the plane down the runway, putting the throttle up to maximum speed. Once in the air, he circles Junon a couple times, and then sets off towards the Chocobo Ranch, planning to stop there and pick up a Chocobo Lure Materia before heading for Midgar. Drake: Ah, now this is relaxing... Take a little trip to Midgar for the day, and then head back home in the evening! Suddenly, another plane swoops down in front of Drake, heading straight for him! Drake: What the!?!? He pulls back on the stick, and just misses the other plane. He turns around, to get a better look at the other plane. He's met with gunfire to the right wing. Drake: That little [censored]!!!!!!! He pulls up, and goes into evasive meneuvers. He picks up his rocket launcher in one hand, and keeps his other on the stick. Pulling around to the left, more shots hit the wings, and one of the engines. Drake: You're going to pay for that, you [censored]!!! He aims as he flies, and fires a rocket at the other plane. It dodges the rocket, but Drake fires another one and scores a hit. The plane goes down in a cloud of fire and smoke... Drake: Who was that!?! Why the heck where they after me!?!?! He checks the status of the engine that got hit. Drake: (thinking) Oh crap... I'm going down..... His plane starts to lose altitude, and smoke starts to come out of his engine. Drake: (thinking) I hope I can make it over the marsh... He looks down, and sees that he's just passing over the entrance to the Mithril Mines..... He's not going to make it to the other side...
Originally posted by Squashed Snail You can use Missingno to get Mew. But you need Pokemon Yellow.... :)
Missingno isn't in Pokémon Yellow. I've tried that trick, and it only works in Red and Blue. They must have fixed that glitch for Yellow. The only way to get Mew, short of cheating, is to win one in a contest. Or, you can go to the Pokémon Center store that's in New York City and you might get one there.

Okay, I'm going to have to see if I can get that much! If I can, I'll sell all three!!! $_$

Well, the only things that I still have to do on FFVII is master the Knights of the Round summon, get Yuffie and Cait Sith to level 99, and get everyone so that they can use their final Limit Breaks. Other than that, I've done absolutly everything. I got bored of leveling after about 15-20 hours of it...

Yes, I'm also wondering why you don't like the GBA remakes... The only thing I don't like about them is that you can't see as far vertically as you could in the originals (because they fit it to the wide screen of the GBA). That, and you can't play two player in Super Mario World, besides Mario Bros. Those are the only two things that I don't like about them. The rest of the added bits and pieces more than make up for those two things, though. Personally, I like the remakes more than the originals.

It's okay, I believed it myself, for awhile... Then I read so many different versions of it, that it became apparent that it was just a rumor. That, and Miyamoto, like I said, confirmed that he's keeping the cel shading. That was just recently, though.

I think it's a pretty dang good ring! It lets you do twice as much damage! That's one that I'd have equiped all the time! Why do you say that it's crappy?

Twinrova is your enemy in Ocarina of Time and Oracle of Ages/Seasons. In Majora's Mask, they aren't (in Majora's Mask, you have to help them to go on with the game). In Ocarina of Time and Oracle of Ages/Seasons, though, Ganon is the final boss. Ganon is your main enemy, Twinrova is just one of the bosses in those two games.
Originally posted by Wes Mine was about 13. I heard that if you catch the biggest, you get a heart piece. I'm not sure, though.
If you break the record weight when you're a kid, you get a Heart Container Piece. If you come back when you're an adult and break the record, you get the Golden Scale.
