1. You find the Soldier that's near the Hero's Cave in the Spring, the Octorok that's in the Graveyard in Summer, the Moblin that's near Level 2, Snake's Remains in Autumn, and the Wolf Warrior that's near the entrance of the Ancient Ruins in Winter. When you talk to the old man after beating all four of these, he gives you the Red Ring. The Red Ring doubles the ammount of damage that you sword does.
2. Did you go to one of the first showings? I went to it on the day it came out. When I went to the first movie, I went only a few days after it came out, and they didn't have any cards left (I really wanted one of the promo Pikachu cards that they were giving out, but I ended up having to buy one)... So I made sure to go on the first day, for the second movie.
3. If you're asking who Twinrova is, then Nerdsy is right. It's the combined form of Koume and Kotake. Koume and Kotake are twin witches that are the boss of the Spirit Temple, in Ocarina of Time, and they also appear as characters in Majora's Mask, although they aren't enemies. In Majora's Mask, one runs a potion shop, and the other runs a boat cruise. In Oracle of Ages/Seasons, they're the ones who've kidnaped Princess Zelda and are trying to bring Ganon back to Hyrule. Veran and Onox (the end bosses of Oracle of Ages and Seasons, respectively) are cooperating with Koume and Kotake to break Ganon out of the Dark World (or Sacred Realm, whichever you want to call it). At the end of a linked game of Ages or Seasons, you'll fight Koume and Kotake after you beat Veran or Onox (depending on which game you're playing). During the fight, Koume and Kotake will merge into Twinrova. After you beat Twinrova, you fight Ganon. If you're asking how to beat Twinrova in Oracle of Ages/Seasons, you have to deflect the shot of one, with your sword, so that it hits the other (while they separate). When they merge into Twinrova, you have to stop their attacks with a Spin Attack, and then damage them with Scent Seeds.
4. If you're looking for information on Grand Theft Auto III for the GBA, there's some here, on www.gamespot.com. Lots of other GBA previews, also.
5. Yes, the maximum number of human players that can be one the screen at once is four. In some battles in the 1P game, however, there can be up to five CPU players on the screen, plus your character. You can have a maximum of 64 contestants in a tournament. You can have four people playing at the same time, though, in tournaments. I played a tournament just today, with 64 contestants (most were CPU players), and I set it to have four contestants fight at once. I haven't heard anything about that tournament... They'd probably have a few GCNs set up, and have a few different tournaments on them. Then, the winners would be in another tournament to determine the winner of the whole thing. That's how I'd do it, anyway.
6. No, the Zelda game for the GCN has not been changed. I read this in an interview with Miyamoto, and he said so himself. He did say that he has changed the look of the eyes, though (which is what I was hoping for). The rumor that it isn't cel shaded anymore is false. It's going to be playable at E3, so we'll be getting lots of new information then. The Donkey Kong game is probably Donkey Kong Racing. The release date hasn't been annouced yet, though.

Big News!

Well, yes, no one has ever said that Square will be making Final Fantasy games on the GCN or GBA... But Square had said, around the time that the GBA was released, that they actually wanted to make games for the GBA. I read this on www.gamespot.com, so it's most likely true. Here's the official news from www.nintendo.com. If you can trust any other news about this, you can trust Nintendo. As you can see, neither Nintendo or Square has said anything about that game that's going to be released in 2002, or anything else. Maybe there'll be some info at E3, but until then I don't think that we'll be getting much information. We'll just have to wait and see... I really do hope that Final Fantasy XI is released on the GCN, though... If it isn't, I think that I'm going to have to get it for the PC. That, and I really hope that they remake the old Final Fantasy games for the GBA. It's been too long since I've played Final Fantasy II and III... since I didn't get the PlayStation collections. I heard that the load times are really bad.
8.
Originally posted by super goku you need to equip the theif gloves to turn steal into capture, wot is atmaweapon witch you steal form him. i have beaten him now but i didnt steal mp i just used carbunkle to cast reflect
Yes, I had the Theif Glove equiped, and I was using Capture. It still didn't work... My brother (who's beaten it) dropped a hint that you fight the Atma Weapon again... Is this true, and if so, do you maybe steal another one from it then? My game got erased awhile ago, though :(... I hope that Square remakes it for the GBA.
9. Yeah, that's the space for the Great Fairy's Sword. It really annoys me that you have to use it with a C Button. Not only is it easier to use the B Button, but it also takes up one of your spaces for secondary items! They should have just done like in Ocarina of Time and let you switch between the Gilded Sword and the Great Fairy's Sword, like switching between the Master Sword and the Biggoron's Sword. One more thing about Majora's Mask that annoys me...
10.
Originally posted by kizu BTW: Jcgoudy do you have any idea of the release date of the Final Fantasy game for the GC?
Well, if you look here, on www.gamespot.com, it says that Square is planning on releasing at least one game before the end of the year... But no exact date.
11. I haven't beaten it, but I know where the eighth Essence is. It's in Level 8, Sword & Shield Maze, which is located in the far north-west screen of Subrosia. You have to go through a warp that's east of Onox's Castle. By the way, this belongs in the Zelda forum. I'm moving it now...
12.
Originally posted by Cloud you can steal a second atma weapon from him!
Okay, I tried this LOTS of times, and I never got another Atma Weapon... I'd either get an Elixer, or a Ribbon. Never an Atma Weapon... Is there some trick to it??? When I fought it, I just used my most powerful spells and whatnot on it, and it died pretty quickly... My highest level characters were level 30, Sabin and Locke. Then Terra and Shadow were just below that. By the way, I have the SNES version.
13.
Originally posted by Darkmoon How did you get three? I couldent even get one of those limited cards because they were all gone when I watched the movie. How much is a holo Charizard worth? I've got two of them (the original, not the rocket edition).
I went to the movie on the first day it came out. My mom wouldn't let me go alone (and it's always nice to get a ride :D), so I got two of them, one for each ticket. Then, I was buying a few cards on eBay (the one that I really wanted was a promo, holographic Eevee), and I got one with those. If I can find someone to pay me $100.00, I'd definitely sell them!!! Any takers? :D My Pikachu World Collection binder (see attachment), are my most prized cards in my whole collection. That, and my three first edition, holographic, Fossil Set Legendary Birds. I don't know... I don't really like the Ancient Mew cards... If I could even get $25.00 for one, I think I'd take it!
14. I heard that the fee would be about $9.50 per month (US). Check out the preview page for Final Fantasy XI on www.gamespot.com. By the way, there's still a FFXI thread on the first page. This one should be combined with the other one, I think.
15. Well, there's Super Street Fighter II: Turbo Revival, which has already been released (in the US, anyway), and then there's Street Fighter Alpha 3, which hasn't been released yet. There's not any info on Street Fighter Alpha 3 on www.nintendo.com, yet, but it says "Stay tuned for details."
16. I don't trust the media... I barely ever watch TV at all, anymore... Sometimes I'll watch the news, and then there are a couple shows that I watch sometimes... But yeah, you can't really trust the media anymore. I sure don't. And I think I'd be really tempted to punch a couple of them, if they swarmed around me like that... It'd serve 'em right!
17. What part didn't you understand? Maybe I can make it a little clearer.
18. Are you talking about the Mew card that was given out at Pokémon the Movie 2000? The one that's holographic on both sides? I can't imagine that they were ever worth that much... Heck, I have three of them... They can't be that rare.
19.
Originally posted by Nerdsy I cought a 20 pund fish with the normal lure. It took a heck of a lot of time, though... I had to have been reeling for ten minutes... It was 20-22, or something above 20...
Ummm... Okay, then there just wasn't that big of a fish when I was playing it... Because, like I said, I would sit there and fish for hours and I was never able to find one that big. Not with the normal lure, at least. To get the Sinking Lure, look in the rocks and reeds around that little stream that flows into the pond. I think you have to have gotten the Heart Container Piece and the Golden Scale before you can find it, though. To catch the Loach, you have to use the Sinking Lure, since it's near the bottom of the pond. You catch it just like any other fish. The trick is to get it to take the bait before another fish does. And then you still have to reel it in, which is no easy task.
20. The Triforce grants the wishes of the person that touches it. But, if that person has an evil heart, then the Trifoce splits into three pieces and the person that touched it will get the piece that most fits him/her. The other two pieces are then given to two other chosen people that posses great power, wisdom, or courage, and they get the piece that matches that trait. Like in Ocarina of Time, when Ganondorf touched the Triforce, it split into three pieces. Ganondorf got the Triforce of Power, because he wanted power. Princess Zelda got the Triforce of Wisdom, because she was very wise. And Link got the Triforce of Courage, because he was very courageous.
21. Zoids? I've heard of that game, but I don't know what it's like, or what system(s) it's on... Wasn't there one on the NES?
22. You mean the Sacred Forest Meadow? At the end of that, you'll find the Forest Temple. Getting through that maze with all of the Moblins was hard the first time I did it. If you have the Scarecrow's Song, you don't have to go through the maze, though... But, if you don't already have it, you won't be able to get it until after you've beaten the Forest Temple.
23.
Originally posted by Angelus_Necare I heard a new one about the zora domain, as a kid if you stand facing the waterfall you look to your left, there you will find a deep pach of water but it looks like there might be a cave at the bottom, swim down there and that's where the triforce is. yet the gammer forgot one fact, not even link can dive that far with tyhe golden scale, people sometimes....
Perhaps this has something to do with the "thaw out Zora's Domain" rumor? Maybe you have to thaw it out, and then go down with the Iron Boots, Lol. I've always wondered why people write these rumors... Is it because they enjoy writing them, or just because they enjoy making people try all of this stupid stuff? I might enjoy writing a crazy rumor for fun, but I'd make it so you could tell that it's fake, if I did write one.
24. The only way to get a 20+ lb. fish, is to use the Sinking Lure. And by the way, that big fish is called a Loach. I don't remember what the biggest one I cought was... Too long ago... You know, that was one thing I really missed in Majora's Mask... I love the fishing game in Ocarina of Time. I've spent hours, just fishing... (Because I enjoy it, not because I'm not any good at it. :D).
25. Considering that the game will have lots of exploration, I don't think it will be mission based. I sure hope it isn't... That would stink... And I'm not to sure that you're going to be fighting Metroids... In Super Metroid, it says that Samus' first encounter with Metroids was on her mission in planet Zebes... In the first Metroid game for the NES. And Metroid Prime is set before the original Metroid, so I don't think that we'll be seeing any Metroids in Metroid Prime. Of course, they could always change that... Which frequently happens with the Zelda series (since they set most of the newer game before the older games). I think it'd be really cool if the game ended with the space pirate attack on the small earth colony (I forget the exact name), where Samus first encountered the space pirates. And maybe have the ending showing her entering planet Zebes, on her mission to destroy the Mother Brain (pretty much, show the very beginning of the original Metroid). Ooooo..... That'd be cool. I can't wait for it to be released!
