The release date for Australia? No, sorry, I have no idea when it's going to be released, other than in the US. Btw, there are also two more confirmed Super Mario Advance games! Super Mario Advance 3, (Super Mario Bros. 3) and Super Mario Advance 4: Yoshi's Island. It didn't give release dates for them in the article that I read, though... I'm going to have to get them all, of course. :)
Originally posted by steven there maby be a way if you use a gold chocobo to get to the aeria between the town and the crater you might be able to get to the path you used to get to the gaea cliffs insted of snowboarding but I have never tryed it but it is not verry liokly to work
Yeah, you can use Chocobos to get to Great Glacier. All you need is a green, black, or gold Chocobo. Just run over the mountains and up to the edge of Great Glacier, and dismount. Then you can just walk right in. I've done this before, but I didn't actually try to go and climb up the cliffs again...
Originally posted by kuja well... yea you have to have both seasons and ages to get all the items... but seasons... i have all the hearts... just not all the heart peices :lost: lol... there is a heart peice i cant get... yet i have the max hearts... weird...
I take it you were playing a linked game, where you started out with four Heart Containers instead of three? But yeah, there are items that you can't get by just playing Oracle of Seasons by itself. If you enjoyed Seasons, maybe you should get Ages, too...
Originally posted by amiboshi I know they weren't real, and I know they're probably not going to change the graphics. I can dream, can't I? I can't help it. I just hate the new look. It's so.....childish....Although gameplay matters a lot, so o graphics. I mean, it's what you're staring at the whole time.:therock:
Have you ever played The Legend of Zelda or Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, for the NES? Two of the best games on the NES, yet they both had pretty bad graphics, even compared to NES graphics.

If you have some Chareau Romani and a couple of Fairies, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Try doing it the fun way, and just jump in at the start and don't climb up onto the platform until it's dead. :) If you have unlimited magic, from the Chateau Romani, you can just swim around with the Zora Barrier on the whole time. Swim around and ram yourself into Gyorg's side, and you'll both hurt it and stun it long enough for you to hit it again. Just keep swimmimg into it's side, until you get pushed around it. Then swim around and do this again, until it's dead. Or, I suppose you can stun it with arrows or the Zora Boomarangs... But it's not as exciting that way!
Originally posted by Sephiroth there are only 4 weapons, not 5, people think that the weapon that attacked junon was a different weapon called weapon, or sapphire weapon, this is false, it is actually emerald weapon, it survived the cannon, look closely at it when you battle it, it has no head....
Ah... Okay. I thought there were only four... I always knew it was Emerald, because it looks pretty much the same when you fight it, except no head. That was a cool cinema, though. One of my favorite. And I wonder how it lived without it's head?

There's something I've been wondering about for awhile... After you get the Highwind, you can go back to Great Glacier... Will it let you climb up the Gaea Cliffs again? And if so, what happens when you get to the top, when you'd normally go down into the crater? Anyone know?

Five WEAPONs? I only remember fighting four... There was Ultimate which you chase down in the airship, Diamond which you fight outside Midgar, Emerald, which you use the submarine to get to, and Ruby which is in the desert surrounding the Gold Saucer... Where's the other one?

To get the Fierce Deity's Mask, you have to have gotten all 20 Happy Masks. When you're in the Moon, you have to complete all four Moon Dungeons. When you talk to one of the four kids running around the edge of the area, (the ones wearing the Odolwa, Goht, Gyorg, and TwinMold masks) you can give up some of your Happy Masks to enter one of the four Moon Dungeons. When you get to the end of a Moon Dungeon, you have to give up more of your Happy Masks. If you complete all four Moon Dungeons, you'll have given up all 20 of your Happy Masks. Then, go and talk to the child sitting under the tree, wearing Majora's Mask, and he'll give you the Fierce Deity's Mask. It's the best mask in the game... When you're in a boss room... Because you can only use it in boss rooms... What it does, is, transforms you into the Fierce Deity: A warrior, with a REALLY big sword... And the sword shoots magic beams when you swing it (if you have some magic). With it, beating Majora and the other bosses is easy. Just stand back and shoot... But make sure you have some Blue/Green Potion, or Chateau Romani. Those beams suck down the magic pretty quickly.
Originally posted by Majora's Mask Sigh...What I ment was.... You need to hit Gyrog twice to hurt him. One hit stuns him, and the next hit does damage. If you do it as normal Link, it takes two arrows to damage him. As Zora Link, it takes two hits with either the barrier attack, or the fins to hurt him.
You're totally wrong... I just went and fought it, and I unloaded over 75 arrows into it's eye... It didn't flash red (the sign that you're hurting it) ONCE. Same with the Zora Boomarangs... The only way I could hurt it was with the Zora Barrier. And if you're using the Zora Barrier, it only takes one hit to hurt it, even if it's not stunned. Stunning it just makes it easier to hit.

Wow... really old thread... You've never heard of the Goron Mask!?! It's one of the four transformation masks that you get in the game. There's the Deku Mask, Goron Mask, Zora Mask, and Fierce Deity's Mask. Each of which transforms you into a Deku Scrub, Goron, Zora, and Fierce Deity, respectively. Link wearing the Goron Mask:
Originally posted by Squashed Snail Yeah, we only have Pokemon stuff, and some Digimon stuff, and mostly Zelda cards..... I didn't even know there were Zelda cards out.....
Cards? You mean like these?
Originally posted by Squashed Snail OOOOhh yes, that's what I was trying to remember. I hated the save system, nearly as much as that time limit..... But I s'pose, with all these, that's what makes the game challenging..... erm..... :D
Yeah... I guess they had to find some way to make it more difficult... The two N64 Zelda games are pretty easy compared to the first three... Link's Awakening isn't exactly easy either... (Especially the end boss, if you don't know how to avoid those :angry2: arms!!!)...

I really wish stores around my area had Zelda merchandise... All we get around here is Pokémon stuff, and a bit of Final Fantasy... Need more gaming stores... I think there should be Zelda figures for all! :D
Originally posted by ShadowGohan Yeah, I was gonna get a straight sword... but you know the reason they are so cheap? Because the shipping is so expensive... ¬_¬ damn them... Anyway, you're talking about Wakizashi's (short sword) and Katana's (long sword). But now I don't kno... this is a conversation between me and my dad. dad: what are you going to do with it? me: ........ dad: you can't take it outside. me: ... I know... dad: well, I'm not having you swishing that sharp thing around here, ok? So basically... I can't get one... :bawl::bawl::bawl::bawl::bawl:
He wouldn't even let you take it out in the backyard? That stinks... Swords and knives are cool.
Originally posted by Cloud I agree with seph though, VII, IX were going for an anime style.
If VII and IX aren't deformed, then you have to drop that catagory all together. VIII's and X's characters are realistic... You can tell that just by looking at them. How they're actually propotioned right and how they almost look real (more so for X). I, IV, V, and VI's characters ARE 2D sprites... That's technically what they are... So if VII's and IX's aren't deformed, then there isn't a deformed catagory at all...
