Being cocky was really working, until he showed up... I was having fun, too! :D ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Drake starts to wake up, as the Potion starts working. Drake: What.... happened? AGH! Drake cringes from the pain in his stomach, and his voice is hoarse. Siren: Don't look at the wound! You'll go into shock! She gets some bandages out of her pack and bandages up the wound. Siren: That'll help stop the bleeding... Drake: I... can't see straight... What's... happening? Siren: There was a dragon. Orion managed to-- Drake: DRAGON! *cough!* As Drake coughs, he spits out some blood. Siren: Relax! Don't move! Drake: Where... where is it!? Siren: I think Orion-- Drake: My pack! *cough!* Siren: What? Drake feels around for his pack, his vision to blurry to see much. Drake: Dragonsbane juice!... Small vile... in my pack!... Siren: WHAT!? You carry some of that!? She grabs Drake's pack and looks through it, until she pulls out a small vile of purple liquid. Drake: If it comes back... put some on a shuriken and throw it at it's throat.... The bugger won't know what hit it! Drake gives a weak smile. Siren: That stuff's way to poisonous to be carrying! Drake: It might just save our lives..... My vision is starting to clear up a bit... Siren: That Potion is really working... The bleeding has stopped. Drake: But it doesn't do anything about the pain... Siren: Stop talking and lay still... It'll help. Drake looks up at the sky, trying not to think about the pain. Drake wispers: Drake: You were right... He falls into a dreamless sleep...
Originally posted by Cruizr Warning: Do not goto the back right corner of the cannon, or you will be teleported to near the bottom of the level ( under a LOT of water)
Yeah, that's the warp I was talking about. And yeah, the Triple Jump gets you the highest, but the Backflip gets you high enough, and it's easier.

Are any of these the one?

Sure, I'm glad to help! Ceval's Rope is in Yoll Graveyard, in the top left corner. To reach it, you must ride Moosh, the flying bear. After you've talked to Rafton and Cheval, head over to the Graveyard and you'll find Moosh one screen to the right of where you enter, being attacked by ghosts. Defeat the ghosts and talk to Moosh, who'll offer to let you ride on his back. Get on Moosh and go one screen to the left, and one up. Fly over the pits in the ground to the top left corner of the screen (next to the rock) and push the gravestone upwards, revealing a cave. Inside, you'll find Cheval's Rope. If you any more help, feel free to PM me. I'm always happy to help!

If it's not the box, then what is it? What does the thing look like, that you thought was Link?

Books, Comics, and Threads that've made you laugh out loud
Desbreko replied to Navi's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, it was a fun thread... But then, awhile after it'd been closed, I realized that a lot of it towards the end was spam. I think it'd be cool if they made a thread like that, but the posts in it don't count towards your post count (if that's possible). -
Jump into the painting towards the top, using a backflip or some other jump that will give you lots of height. When you enter the level, the water level will be at its highest. Climb out of the water onto a platform near the Bomb-Omb Buddy and jump to the raised platform that it's standing on. Also, there's a warp up to the cannon from the ground. When you enter the stage with the water level at its lowest, run straight under the wooden platform. When you're not under it anymore, turn to your right and you'll see a small tower with three "steps" and a water level changer thing at the top. If you stand in the small corner at the bottom of it, you'll warp up to the cannon. Very usefull.

Thing on the cover of OOT? Do you mean the box? If so, the box in Australia must be different than the one in the US, because the only thing on the US box is the logo. Box Picture:

Yeah, I like how events vary from day to day. I think that the next Zelda game for the GCN should have something like that with a seven-day week. Events could vary from day to day. Of course, it'd get old if the same thing happened on the same day, week after week. They'd have to make it so that the days are mixed up, for what will happen that day. I think that'd be really cool.

I think I'll rent it, and see if I get bored with it within the five days. If I don't get bored with it, I'll probobly buy it.

I think I'm going to have to get some friends together and watch it some time soon... My life has been getting a little to boring lately... -

And I've alerted the mods about your triple post! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Siren: Orion! Hold them off for a bit! She drags Drake away from the fight and props his back up against a tree. Drake: Please..... take.. the sword..... out.. of my..... gut! Siren pulls the sword out of Drakes stomach. Siren: This isn't good... :( Drake: Red.... Potion...... cloak.... Drake faints from the severe pain. Siren: Your Red Potion! Of course! She reaches into Drake cloak and finds the small bottle of Red Potion in a small pocket. Siren: I don't know if this's going to be enough... She pours the Potion down Drake's throat, and he starts to wake up...

I'll post a map too, for reference...
Ah, okay. I thought it was set closer to when the events in FFVII took place... I'll change my post, then.
Originally posted by k9* but at least the fat fairie was only that way becuz of ganondorf  and his magic
Yes, the fat one has an excuse for being ugly, but the ones it OOT don't! The Dark World only came about after Link pulled the Master Sword from the Pedestal of Time, and Ganondorf stole the Triforce of Power. And even then, none of the Great Fairies (at least none of them that are in OOT) were in the Dark World... Maybe if the Great Fairies in OOT are the same ones that are in LTP, (A Link To the Past) they could've gotten better looking with age... Maybe Fairies go through different stages, and get better looking in each new stage.......... .....Probobly not, though.....

DANG! No one else is signing up! ..... Don't they realize what a cool RPG this is? Lol! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Drake: DANG! Yet another reason not to piss off a behemoth! He stabs an ogre through the stomach, and as he's pulling out the blade he slashes around beside him, cutting another ogre in half. Drake: Yet another reason not to piss me off! Siren: The way you act, I'm surprised you're still alive... Drake: I'm telling you, it actually works! If being cocky didn't work, I would be dead by now! I'm living proof! Drake skewers two more ogres on his sword, brings his sword around, and tosses them into a troll.

I've been thinking about buying Luigi's Mansion, but I've heard that you can do everything there is to do in the period of a rental... Is that true? And is there much replay value, or is it one of those games that you play through once and that's it?

I didn't think I was the only one that doesn't like them... And I was right... I got a screen shot from A Link To the Past, where the ugliness of the Fairies started, I think. Behold! The Fat Fairy! *shudder*

Books, Comics, and Threads that've made you laugh out loud
Desbreko replied to Navi's topic in General Discussion
The funniest series of books that I've ever read are the DiscWorld series by Terry Pratchett. They're hilarious! For comics, I like Calvin and Hobbes, Dilbert, User Friendly, The Far Side, Outland, and Bloom County. All of those have made me laugh out loud a LOT! For threads, there have been way to many to even count... Padded Room Party! made me laugh the most out of them all, though. -
Hasn't this thread been done before? I'm going to be a computer engineer, and I'd like to work for Nintendo.
Originally posted by ShadowGohan I don't really mind it, although it gets on my nerves sometimes that you have to keep warping back. So, for me it's not the time limit- it's the warping back
That's what I mean, having to warp back because the time runs out. And having to loose all your items, and all the other annoying things that happen when you do. Especially, like I said before, if you're in a dungeon when you have to warp back. And I forgot which dungeon items you loose, too. After I warped back to the first day, I went back to the dungeon just to see what I was able to keep. You lose everything except the Dungeon Map, the Compass and the item that you got in the dungeon. Other than that, it's like you've never even been in the dungeon before.

Thanks, but you can't give me all the credit. I didn't write that walkthrough, the people who made www.zelda.com did. All I did was download and post it. I am thinking of making my own walkthrough for A Link To the Past, though. We'll have to see if I ever get around to it...
Originally posted by Elfin_Girl Problem with the Biggoron Sword is that it frikin' breaks everytime you hit it against something that can't be killed. In my case, a wall. :D Hee...
You are confusing the Biggoron's Sword with the Giant's Knife. The Biggoron's Sword (which you get at the end of the trading sequence from Biggoron, for free) will not break, but the Giant's Knife (which you buy in Goron City from Medigoron, for 200 Rupees) will, from hiting a few solid things that aren't enemies. Anyway, has anyone ever thought that Link could block Legolas's arrows with his shield? And have you noticed that Link's arrows always go straight, until they're out of sight? I don't think range would be a problem for Link. That, and you can't forget the Fire, Ice, and Light Arrows.
Originally posted by Deus_Ex_Machina I think you worry too much. I never really thought they were too ugly. OK.. I'll agree that the other one you saw would be better, but I just don't think the appearance of the great faeries was a significant setback in OoT.
I'm not worrying, it's just that I've never like the look of the Great Fairies... And then I find out that they could have looked much better... And yes, I know that it wasn't a significant setback. There really weren't any, I think. And yes, the Great Fairies look the same in Majora's Mask. They re-used a lot of the graphics from Ocarina of Time, in Majora's Mask. That's one of the reasons why it didn't take nearly as long to make.
