Originally posted by Deus_Ex_Machina Hey yeah... eveyone's agreeing with me these days :D :D :D :D :D ! Personally, I could never beat the dungeon in one time limit time... So what I did... was I figured out what to do... got all the Items like the Boss Key... Got the new weapon... THEN.. next time limit, youve still got all that stuff... except for the little keys.. an you can solve the puzzles better (cos you can GUARANTEE that you'll need to use the new weapon. In the case of MM it was always a new arrow)..
No, you don't get to keep the Boss Key. But other than that, you're right. But anyway, yeah, I'm going to go back in and already have the Ice Arrow, so I won't have to deal with some of the stuff. I know I'll be able to do it the second time, it just annoyes me that there has to BE a second time. I suppose I really should be used to going in and out of the same dungeon, by now. I played through the original Legend of Zelda just before Christmas, and I had to go in and out of several of the later dungeons in the 2nd Quest, especially Death Mountain. I must have came out of that dungeon 15 times! 2-3 from getting my shield eaten by a Like Like, around 10 to keep from dying or to get more medecine, 1 from stumbling on Ganon without the Silver Arrow, (I had to reset, since you can't beat him without the Silver Arrow) and 1-4 from having to turn off the game. Anyway, I think I'm ready to go back in and womp on the boss, now. :flaming: Once I get the Boss's Remains, I'll be able to warp directly to it, and I won't have to go through the dungeon. That'll be nice if I don't have time to do everything after the fog disapears. I think that the worst part of the time limit, is that you lose all of your items, like Bombs and Rupees and that sort of thing, when you warp back to Day 1. It's really annoying to have to go collect or buy more items every cycle. At least there's a bank so that you can stockpile a ton of Rupees! I've got around 5000, which is the max you can put in. :)
Originally posted by Defcon5 I would like to try it but I don't want to risk my mom walking in(I don't have a lock on my door) Mabye i'll get brave one night......
Yep, it's the same for me, too. I really wish I had a lock on my door... Not just for that, though...

I've found another thing that really annoyes me. This time, it's from Ocarina of Time. A couple of days ago, I downloaded a preview trailer for Zelda: Ocarina of Time (it was made before the game came out in the US). And while I was watching it, I noticed this (the picture on the right, in the attachment). Is it just me, or do the rest of you think that the one from the preview looks a LOT better than those ugly ones that appear in the game (left picture). Personally, I think that the Great Fairies are one of the worst parts of the game. I mean, they're just so UGLY!!! What were the artists smoking when they drew them!?!! Anyway, what do you think?

I know that Nintendo has confirmed that they're making another Pokémon game for the GCN, but that's all I know about. Suicune:

Ah. So my PM helped you. I'm glad. :) Unfortunatly, I can't help you with midterms... Unless a cookie will help:

Go here And look at the Small Key guide that I posted. If that doesn't help, here's the full walkthrough for OOT, from www.zelda.com:

What part are you stuck on?

Yes, I always play the reversed Song of Time, but I still think the cycles are too short. Even with two hours, (using the reversed Song of Time) that's really not a long time to complete a dungeon and then still be able to do the stuff after wards. Especially when most of what the dungeons are, are puzzles. Think about it: There's this big dungeon full of confusing puzzles that can take quite a while to figure out. But you've got a time limit, so you've got to rush. I just don't think that puzzles and time limits go together in an adventure/RPG game. I think that if they were going to have a three day time limit, each day should have been at least an hour long. As it is, it's just not that enjoyable since I have to rush as fast as I can through the later dungeons, when I enjoy taking my time. Me and time limits just don't go tegether.

Which Temple? Woodfall Temple (swamp), Snowhead Temple (mountain), Great Bay Temple (ocean), or Stone Tower Temple (canyon)?
Originally posted by Zero-Sama How did you manke the dark triforce? It looks cool!I wish i could make things like you.
Wow... I always thought that I'd be the one saying that to other people... I never thought someone would ever say that to me... Thanks! :) But anyway, I started out with this picture of the Triforce (see "Triforce.jpg" in attached .zip file) and I used one of the effects in Paint Shop Pro 7 (I forget what it was called. I think it might have been "chrome" or something like that. I can't check, since the demo version I had ran out and PSP 5, the version I have now, Doesn't have those effects). Then I used one of the lighting effects where you get to have five different light sources, and I put one in each corner and turned the fifth one off. Then I saved a picture with the lights on bright, then a little darker, a little darker, until I had enough frames to put them together in an animation with Animation Shop (It came with Paint Shop). I've attached a zip file with the picture I started out with and the frames (and frame order) I used to make the dark Triforce animation.

Yeah, too see if you've missed something. There's usually quite a few secrets in Zelda games, so it's not hard to miss things. Especially with the Gold Skulltulas in Ocarina of Time. Some of those really hard to find.

Yeah, I thought that too, when I was little and I'd watch my brothers play A Link To the Past. Once I learned to read I figured it out, though.

I love my school! You know why? Because my school is my home! I'm in home school, and that means that I can get up around 12:00 PM and it doesn't matter, as long as I do the work for that day. Also, I don't have to deal with a bunch of idiot classmates and stupid teachers (my mom is my teacher). Really, I barely have to deal with a teacher at all, since most of what my mom does is just make out my asignment sheet for the week and then just remind me to do the work. For the most part, I do my work by myself on the livingroom couch. :D Sorry if this sounds like bragging, but... ummm... You did ask...

I'm really starting to loathe the time limit in Majora's Mask... Today I started playing it again, and I went to go do the Great Bay Temple. I get almost all the way through it... There's just a couple more rooms that I have to get through before I fight the boss... And the time runs out. I'm forced to warp back to Day 1 and have almost everything that I did start over. So now I have to get the boss key again, mess with the switches for the water again, and then everything that I didn't get to the first time. Also, I have to restock with Fairies, Potions, Arrows and everything else, too! I suppose that if I hadn't waited until 10:00 PM to enter the Temple, I would have had time... But I had to get some Chateau Romani so I could have unlimited magic. That helped a lot! Almost the whole time I was in the Water as Zora-Link, I was using the electric shield with the R Button. Very helpful for dealing with all those annoying fish. :D But anyway, I'd like to say it again: I HATE THE TIME LIMIT!!! IT SUCKS!!! IF NOT FOR THAT STUPID TIME LIMIT, MAJORA'S MASK WOULD BE ONE OF MY FAVORITE ZELDA GAMES!!!!! BUT NOOOOOO, THEY HAD TO SCREW IT UP!!! AS IT IS, IT'S MY SECOND TO LEAST FAVORITE ZELDA GAME!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!!!! Having read that, does anyone else hate the time limit as much as I do?

Hey everybody! I'm letting some more people join my RPG, so if you want to join, here's your chance! Just follow the directions in the first post in this thread. As for choosing a location to start at, you can choose anywhere, but I would like to mention that the group of people that are already in the RPG are currently in the Swamp Ruins. If you want, you can start near there and join the group, or you can be on your own for a while, somewhere else in the world.

Gil? Are you confusing Zelda with Final Fantasy, perhaps? Lol! And I think I'll re-open the sign-up thread. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Drake sits bolt upright in his sleeping bag, as Orion howls. Drake: $%&^$%@%&!!!!! He grabs a throwing knife and sends it through the throat of a ogre, 5 feet away. Drake: What the $^ happened!?!?!! When did these guys show up!?! Siren: Less talk, more fighting! Drake: Right!!! Drake unsheathes his short sword and grabs another throwing knife in his left hand. Turning, he chops a troll's head clean off. Drake: $#&*!!!!! I LIKE this new sword!!!!! Orion: Looting pays!!! ;) Siren: Getting attacked by dozens of monsters doesn't!!! She throws a shuriken and hits an ogre right between the eyes. Drake: OUCH! That's gotta hurt!!! Siren: Are you always this cocky when you're fighting? Drake: It helps my confidence! Orion: And if you get a knife in the back? Orion bashes an ogre with his tail, that was about to stab Drake in the back. Drake: Then it's Game Over for me!
Originally posted by kizu Nice pics, but there was no Tri-force. I wanted to see one of those. I really like the hookshot.
Yeah, I know, I didn't do a Triforce. I kind of wanted too, but it just never happened. I was going to draw more than that. I had decided what I was going to draw next... But for some reason, I just didn't draw anymore. I don't know why. But if you want a cool picture of the Triforce, here's one. Originally, it was gold, but I used some of the effects in Paint Shop to make it the way it is, and then made a few different frames. After that, I put them together with Animation Shop. Cool, huh?

If you have any questions, I'll be happy to help you... Unless they're about Oracle of Ages/Seasons. I don't have a lot of information on them... right now... ;) But if you have any questions about the other Zelda games, (the first six) feel free to PM me and I'll do my best to help.

For Event Match 51, use Jigglypuff. I know it sounds unlikely, but it works! First off, jump up and use the Down+A (air) attack on Giga Bowser and follow up with the Down+B. If he's standing towards the edge of the platform (and he gets knocked towards the near edge) You should take him out with those two attacks. Usually it won't take more than two Down+B attacks to KO him. Repeat this until Giga Bowser is defeated, and then fight Ganondorf and Mewtwo. You'll probobly want to practice fighting with Jigglypuff a bit, if you haven't used it much (especially with the Down+B attack). Note: If you get KO'd before you defeat Giga Bowser, you'll probobly want to reset the match and try again. Fighting both Ganondorf and Mewtwo at the same time is hard, even without Giga Bowser. (They'll probobly both still have all three lives left, so you'll want to have three left too. Sometimes you'll get lucky and KO one of the others at the same time as Giga Bowser, but it's hard to do).

Yeah, you can see a pictire of Mario by looking in the window. Also, try shooting into the windows with the Fairy Slighshot and tosing Bombs through them, if you come back with the Bomb Bag. I forget what exactly happens, but I think you get Rupees for shooting into the left window and you get a Bomb tossed out at you if you shoot into the right window. And I'm pretty sure that if you toss a Bomb in one of the windows, it gets tossed back out at you. This picture doesn't really have anything to do with what I was talking about, but isn't it slightly disturbing?

I'd be nervous too, if I was in your situation. I can't think of anything else to say, except good luck. I'm sure you'll win though.

YES!!! Back up to three!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Drake: Would you like a napkin? Orion doesn't even open his eyes to answer. Orion: Do you have a napkin? Drake: Ummmmm..... Orion:  Drake: Ummm... yeah... ummm... :D Siren: *sigh* The soup is done.

Actually, Bowser appeared in Ocarina of Time! If you go look at malon, she's wearing this thing that's shaped like Bowser's Head!

There's a lesson in this: (One that I've had to learn a few times to get it to stick). You almost always want to use the weapon that the game suggests. (Recalls trying to hit that first Deku Scrub in the Great Deku Tree with the jump attack, instead of refleacting it's nuts back at it because "It looks like it's hitting it". Yes, that's actually what I thought). :cross: And yeah, Ganondorf/Ganon is easy. I went into the fight with two Blue Potions and two Fairies and I never used any of them. So far, the hardest boss I've fought (in a Zelda game) was Ganon from A Link To the Past. I still did it on my first try, though. *ego inflates a little bit more* :smirk: (Remembers that he had to use two Blue Potions). *ego deflates a bit* :( :cross:

Thanks for all the complements! I'm thinking about drawing some more, actually, but all my time has been taken up by school, homework, here, working on the Zelda website that I'm making... I don't have much time aside from those. I did just finish the banner for my website (I might make some slight changes, though). I didn't actually make it, really, but I stuck all the pictures in it! That counts for something, right? :D Btw, can anyone think of a better text color? I spent a long time trying to find one that I liked, (that you can actually see) and this is the best I found:
