NoodleZ, why'd you post a picture of Link? Do you want to join my RPG?..... PLEASE! THERE'S ONLY TWO OF US LEFT! WE NEED MORE PEOPLE!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Drake: Cure... Oh yeah! I had forgotten all about this! He gets out his small bottle or Red Potion, that he bought just before he left the Village of Outcasts. He looks from the soup to the bottle, and back again. Drake: Bring on the pain! Siren: The pain from the soup being really hot, or the pain that you'll be in if this actually does poisen you? Drake: Ummm..... Both! :tasty:

Yep! Every January issue is a bonus issue for subscribers! Last year we got a special Spider-Man extra cover, Spider-Man stickers and a special feature about upcoming games and systems (GBA & GCN) and some of the best games of the past. Poeple that bought it off the news stand didn't get any of that. Makes you feel special, doesn't it? :toothy:

The site is cool, but... It could use a little more color. I have a question: I'm making a website, and I was wondering if I could use the OtakuGamer logo in the links section of my website, for a link to www.otakugamer.com. Would that be okay?

I'm going to major in computer engineering. I'd like to work for Nintendo, designing game consoles. Right now I'm in 8th grade... Only one more semester until I'm in high school. Last semester was the best time I've ever had in school.....

Finding your way out of the Dark World is kind of impossible... It can't actually be done, without something like the Magic Mirror. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Drake: Water... and vegetable oil..... Siren: Yeah... don't worry. Drake: We're having soup... which has water in it..... And also has vegetables in it..... Drake stares at the pepper. Drake: Water... and vegetable oil.....
Originally posted by NorykoAngelcry One word - Ganondorf ^_^ He is one of the strongest, and most versitile characters I have played in this game in some time. I have gotten good with him :naughty: and those masterhands were a piece of cake. Though, it did take me about 20 tries to finally get it down right. I tried Link, my best character in the game, but he just wasn't right for the job =( Soooooooooooo, I tried my next best (young Link), then I came to Ganondorf. . little while later (about 2 hours), and BAM, level beat :D Does that help? Ok, seriously, just pound the crap out of one hand. Take that hand out of the equation, and the other is a piece of cake. . just don't let your guard down at all, cause they are good with randomizing each attack. Good luck~
You beat Event Match 50 with Ganondorf!? I tried him, and I thought he was just too slow to dodge their attacks. I ended up trying almost every character, until I did better than I had ever done before... on Luigi. I tried a few more times, and I beat it! On Luigi! I couldn't believe it! I almost never play on Luigi, yet he was the only character I could beat it with. I think the reason I could beat it on Luigi was because he's pretty fast, so I could dodge most of the hand's attacks, and I could jump up under one and hit it two or three times before I landed. What surpised me even more, was that I couldn't beat it on Mario! Even though they're almost exactly the same (although they're more different than in the original). And I play on Mario all the time. I just thought that was weird.
-
No... the Spin Attack just isn't that same. Sure, it reaches a long way and it's really usefull, but it's just not the same as having a shooting sword. I think that in the new GCN Zelda game they should have a shooting sword. Maybe if they have the same kind of swings as in OOT & MM, they could make the vertical swing shoot (with the Master Sword only, though) and have the other swings normal. That's how I'd want it. I just thought of something cool! They could use the old sound effect from the orginal Zelda for the shots from you sword! That would be cool, and it also kind of fits the graphical style, I think.
-
That's weird. Almost every time I tried to stay for a second hit (once he started moving fast, anyway) he would recover and turn around a hit me with one of his swords. Maybe I was using the jump attack for the first hit. That takes longer, so that might have been it. It's been way too long since I've played that game. I think I might have to play through it again sometime.
Originally posted by Zero-Sama Lol,If he could.....Can you see link shooting fireballs out of his Pointy Finger?lol!
No, but I can see him shooting them out of his sword. I WANT A 3D ZELDA GAME WITH A SHOOTING SWORD, DANGIT!!!

Drake: If they do, they can go eat some grass. Make it nice and hot! Siren: Ummm... Orion: I don't care. Matt: Sure! Make it spicy! Andry: Sure, why not. Drake: Dang. I wanted to see someone eat grass... All: :therock: Drake: :freak: Siren: Anyway, The water's boiling. Someone chop up that meat. Drake and Siren chop up the meat and vegetables, and put them in the water to simmer.
Originally posted by Cera Going back to Farhenheit 451--the extreme irony of that is the fact it has been censored and banned itself. People just don't get it. I've said this before, and I'll say it again: If you are an adult and do not know the difference between fantasy and reality, then you are a moron. If your children do not know the difference between fiction and reality, then you have failed as a parent. Tell me what you think of this book: It centers around the actions of two sexually active teenagers. The girl is much younger than the boy. The entire book is full of coarse language and sexual innuendoes. It follows the story of this couple, and how they see each other despite being strictly forbidden to do so by their parents. People are killed, murdered, and take their lives in suicide. Should it be banned? Have you read it? Chances are, you've heard of it. If you've read it, then you know what I'm talking about. I'll give you a hint. The kids names are Romeo and Juliet -Cera
HAH! That's funny! I took a class on Shakespeare last semester, and you know what? Most of his plays are like the TV sitcoms that we have today. Just goes to show that entertainment wasn't any better back then, than it is now. The really funny thing is, is that my mom won't let me read Harry Potter (not that I'd want to anyway) but I was REQUIRED to read Romeo & Juliet. I also think it's really funny that most fantasy books have stuff that's "worse" than Harry Potter books, yet most of those aren't considered bad.
Originally posted by kizu My nintendo power for the month January is different than the one that you got Jcgoudy. I it all black on both sides. One side has a Blue pikmin walking and the other has Camp. Omar see a blue pikmin. That is the cover of my issue.
I got that one too. It's the extra cover that subscribers get with the January issue. The picture I posted is of the normal cover, which is under the bonus cover for subscribers. I don't have a picture of the bonus cover, so I posted a picture of the regular cover instead.
Originally posted by Char-Char,Mander-Char! Hey, there's a loophole for that! Technically the Oracle games are for GameBoyColor, so Link's Awakening is still the best GameBoy game!
Yeah, but about the only difference between the GB and GBC is a color screen. Probobly the only reason Oracle of Ages/Seasons are GBC only, is because they have stuff in them that you really need color for, such as some of the puzzles in the dungeons. If you didn't need color in them, I bet they wouldn't be GBC only. I consider GB and GBC only games to be in the same group.

I think that if I ever saw something like that, I'd walk up to the people burning the books and laugh in their faces. I figure that if people can't tell fiction from reality, they deserve whatever they get.

Now if only the others would show up again... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Drake: Maybe it'll soften up if we boil some water and put it in that. Siren: That's a good idea... We could make soup. Drake: Okay, I'll get out the pot. Drake rumages around in his pack, until he finally pulls out a small, lightweight pot. He pours some water in it and puts it over the fire. Drake: Anyone got anything else that'd go good in soup? Some kind of vegetable, perhaps?

The easiest way to beat Ganon, in OOT, is to Z Target his head and shoot him with a Light Arrow. This will stun him for a little while, allowing you to run between his legs and hit him with your sword. If you run out of magic, the Hookshot will also stun him, but not for as long as Light Arrows. After you've stunned him, run up to his tail and hit it with your sword once. If you stay for a second sword slash, he'll usually recover and hit you. And yes, the Biggoron's Sword does more damage, but you have to administer the final blow with the Master Sword, to defeat him. When I fought him, I only used the Biggoron's Sword before I got the Master Sword back. If you stun him using Light Arrows, it's pretty easy to beat him without the Biggoron's Sword. (If you don't have the Biggoron's Sword for the first part of the fight, the Megaton Hammer will work). Btw, you really don't have to stun him before you get the Master Sword back, since he moves so slow. Just make sure that you run between his legs and not around them. If you run around them, there's a chance that Ganon will hit you with one of his huge swords.

When I checked it in the spell checker in Microsoft Word, it didn't say that either spellings were wrong. Weird. I wonder why they weren't released in the UK? They're cool little action figures.

Whay does my RPG keep dying!? What's wrong with it? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Drake: You're lucky I'm tired, or I'd kick your #%&... Sean: You'd try... Drake: Don't tempt me... They both glare at each other for a second, as they walk down the path. Orion: We're getting close to the campsite. Drake: GOOD! They finally reach the campsite. Drake: Well, I think we did pretty good today... Shall we count up the treasure and devide it, then? Matt: Ugh... Lets leave that for tommarrow. Andry: Even if you haven't carried a huge sack of treasure for 25 miles, it's been a long day. Drake: Yeah... I guess you're right... He unrolls his sleeping bag and lays it out on the ground. He takes his throwing knives out from beneath his cloak and puts them somewhere in the sleeping bag. Unbuckling his sword, he sits down. Drake: None of you snore, do you? All: No! They make a fire and sit around it, having dinner. Drake takes out a few strips of preserved meat and starts nawing on them. Siren: What kind of meat is that? Drake: It tastes better if you don't think about that... Siren: Riiiiight... Drake: So where do we go in the morning? SNAP! Orion: What was that!? Drake: Oh, sorry. That was me breaking off a piece of this meat... I think it's a bit old.....

I wasn't making fun of your contact, I just don't tend to believe stuff when people say they heard it from one of their "contacts" without saying what that contact is. Maybe what you're talking about is different than what I'm talking about. It is possilbe that they are developing a new type of disc.

#MB2***59697V1523# The part that's big and in bold is you Member No. and the part that's big and italicized is the issue number. I think that what you do, when registering on www.nintendo.com, is that you put as much of your Member No. as you can in the first box, and then whatever's left, in the second. And I'm pretty sure you don't use the dash that's sometimes between the last two numbers.

Check it out! www.nintendo.com has a poll to see if people would rather have a 1. Comic book series - 4.82% 2. Novelization - 8.95% 3. Live action movie - 60.03% 4. Animated series - 26.20% Could this mean that Nintendo is actually going to make one or more of these? I hope they make another animated series! Edit: I'll be updating the percentages every now and then. Edit 2: I hadn't updated the percentages for awhile, and then they took down the poll... So these aren't the final percentages.
Originally posted by liamc2 63% corrupt insane :D! wait. .no. .thats not right. .I should have 100%! maybe its just that they were asking the wrong questions. .yes thats what it was. .yes. .GAHAHA! erm. .
Yeah, I only got 14% corrupt. It really should be around 95%, though. (I have a sane side, it just usually gets beaten up and stuffed in a small box by the insane side). It was asking the wrong kind of questions for my type of insanity.
Originally posted by Akito Incorrect, it's not a DVD, it's better then a DVD. My contact said that they were making this disc to surpass DVD's! Think about it, a normal CD Disc that can hold as much as a DVD, but it's cheaper! That would beat the Recordable DVD's and their players! Looks like we all gotta save up money for the new drive.
My brother, who's a computer engineer, said that the discs are normal DVDs, but using a laser with a narrower wave length, such as a flourine laser, (which are really expensive to make right now) you would be able to fit more on a DVD because the pits and plains would be smaller. A normal DVD is capable of holding around 30GB, but with the current lasers, you can't put that much on one because you can't burn the pits and plains that small. There needs to be some advancement in laser technology, to make the short wave length lasers cheaper. That way, it will be practical to use them and just one DVD instead of using two DVDs and a laser like the ones we're using right now. This came from my brother who actually works in industry and hears about these things. Not just some "contact".

1. It never says why Navi left. 2. No, unless he finds her at the end of Majora's Mask. (I still need to beat it). I don't think you ask to many questions. The more questions you ask, the faster you learn. I'm always ready to answer any questions that anyone has about the Zelda series.

Enjoy being 12, because once you turn 13 (and become a teenager) life starts to suck... My brother told me this on my 13th birthday, and I didn't believe him. Well, it turns out he was right... And being 14 has sucked even more than being 13 did.......... now I'm even more depressed..... But anyway, happy birthday!
