Cool! I'm pretty sure I'm getting a GCN and SSB Melee for Christmas this year. Every year my mom gets annoyed because there usually isn't anything that I really want, or if there is it's to expensive, so I ask for money. This year I think everybody is going in to get me a GCN and SSB Melee, since I've told them that's what I want. (My brothers would rather get me a PS2 though.) I'm really looking forward to owning my own GCN, and not having to wait 'til I can get to a store and play a demo.

Awhile ago, [url]www.nintendogamecube.com[/url] had a contest where people would send in ideas about crazy things to do to get a GameCube. If one of your ideas were chosen, they'd send you to a Cube Club to perform your stunt. I was wondering, if any of you don't already have a GameCube, what WOULD you do to get one? Btw, I've attached a zip file with some pics of some of the stunts that won.

OOC: Two quick things: 1. You cannot switch between monster and human forms. When you entered the Dark World, you transformed into the monster because of your evil emotions. The only way to be a human in the Dark Word is to find something that prevents you from transforming. (Like the Moon Pearl, which is in the Light World though.) 2. YOU CANNOT GET A PIECE OF THE TRIFORCE!!!!! The Triforce is deep in the Pyramid of Power which has no entrances and cannot be broken into. Shopkeeper: Yeah, well, I'm the only one in town that has some. You want it or not? Drake: Yeah, I'll take it. I'm weird. I like it freezing outside and hot inside. I'd say 35-50 for inside and 0-10 outside. Or, if they both have to be the same, I like 25-35.

Yes, I do find it damn cool when I meet a girl that likes games. It's to bad that there aren't many of them though... :( Well, I'll just have to get more girls to like games then! Resistence is futile... You will be ascimilated. lol!

I like the GameCube. Why? I can sum it up in three words: Zelda, Metroid, Mario. The reason I like Nintendo is because of it's exclusive games that I won't find on other systems. If those games were exclusive on the X-Box, I'd be asking for an X-Box for Christmas instead of a GameCube.

It's the one where a bunch of people are in suits that look like Nintendo characters. One of them accidentally trips one of the others, and the fight ensuses. At the end, it shows Yoshi hitting DK with a hammer. :laugh: I've got to find it to download somewhere. It's my favorite video game commercial. 2nd goes to the Super Mario World 2 Yoshi's Island commercial.

[I]He casually walks back to his hideout, in the basement of an old abandoned house.[/I] Drake: (thinking) I hope this is enough to get by for a day or two... [I]He dumps the contents of the pouch out onto an old table. He counts the Rupees...[/I] Drake: YES! 50 Rupees! That'll last for long enough. [I]Drake takes out his small map that he's drawn of the Dark World.[/I] Drake: (thinking) Hmmm... lets see..... It's about 15 miles to the entrance to Death Mountain... About the same to the Swamp Ruins... I've been through Death Mountain lots of times... I'll try the Swamp Ruins this time... There's got to be some treasure in those old ruins... [I]He putts the map away and blows out the candle.[/I] Drake: (thinking) I'll get going tomarrow at sunrise, and hopefully I'll get there by evening... [I]He lays down and goes to sleep, thinking about how he used to explore the Swamp in the Light World so long ago.....[/I]

It'd be hard to make a Super Smash Bros. game for the GBA, since you only have that little screen. The levels would have to be smaller, so that when it zooms out to show all the players, the characters wouldn't just be little spots on the screen. If they do make one with up as jump, it'll take me a long time to get used to it, since I've always used the C Buttons to jump. I REALLY hope that they make X jump in SSB Melee.

Yes, I like cartridges for handhelds, but for consoles I like CDs/DVDs because they're cheaper, which makes the game cost less, and they can hold a lot more data. I read an article about that a few days ago and I was overjoyed. I seem to remember laughing evily at Microsoft and Sony, because Nintendo is back and it's #1 again... Where it belongs... I can't wait for Christmas, so I can get a GameCube! I'm counting the days... counting... counting..... UNTIL IT DRIVES ME INSANE!!!!! :drunk:

I actually got up and got something to eat while 8 Bahumut ZEROs where going off. It's my favorite summon, but it gets old after seeing it 25 times in the same fight, lol. The first time I fought it, I tried using KOTR with W-Summon. BIG mistake. It countered with Ultima in between the two, and then again after the second one. That killed all my characters except Cloud, and then he died from something or other before I could cure him. Final Fantasy Anthology is a collection of FFV, which was prevously only released in Japan, and FFVI, which was released in the US as FFIII for the SNES.

The first character that I got good with was Mario. I also switch characters every match, and I play with five minute matches. If you don't like playing cheap, then you must really hate Kirby. If your opponent has about %20 or more, you can kill them by using your Down+A Air attack on them while they're off the edge. It makes them spin, so they can't jump for a second or two. I still have my old NES and SNES. I even have an old Atari 2600! They're in a big box, sitting in my closet... right... now... (now I've got the urge to get out The Legend Of Zelda and play through it again.)

[/B][/QUOTE] Actually, it didn't use Quicksand for quite awhile. Know why? Because I didn't attack it until it burried it's claws in the sand. If you don't hit it before then, it won't use Quicksand until you've done a lot of damage. The way that I did the most damage was casting Bahumut ZERO with Quad-Magic and W-Summon... And LOTS of miming. Anyway, it IS possible, because I've done it.
