Okay, the Skulltula House (the place where you get the Adult's and Giant's Wallet) is in Kakariko Village. When you enter the town, keep going straight until you see some stairs off to the right. Go up the stairs and turn right again at the top of the stairs, and then turn right yet again, and you should be infront of the door to the Skulltula House. Or, if you want shorter directions: It's the first house on the right. And, if you need directions to Kakariko Village, it's in the north-east, left across the bridge from Hyrule Castle Market.
Originally posted by Nothing674 Please tell me this is some kind of horrible joke. I went to ign.com and saw what the original would have looked like, and this cartoon look doesn't even compare. I HATE the cartoon look, it is an insult to a great game series! If they want to do that, fine, but at least do it in the second or third release of zelda on the gamecube, NOT the first! That totally ruins it. I have been a long time zelda fan, and I am seriously considering NOT buying the game just because of this horrible cartoon look. I don't know what shigeru miyamoto has been smoking, but it must be some good stuff to totally screw up zelda the way he did. Come on now, be honest, I know we all love zelda, but mr. miyamoto has really ruined it; and it would have been better how he originally planned it. who agrees??
Yep. I've heard that a lot. And here's what I say in reply: Don't judge a game before you play it. When I first saw the "new look" I thought the same thing. But now, after I think about it, I actually like it. The only thing I really don't like is Link's face. They need to make his eyes a bit smaller.

Have you tried logging out and then logging in again? That might help. And yeah, if you're using Win NT (I don't know about other versions of Windows) there's an eject command if you right-click on the CD-ROM drive in Explorer. You also might try to load a different game/program that needs a CD, and see if it'll try to load from the CD that's stuck. Then it might let you eject it.

I like Rico's the best, but I'm not really into anime so that helped Rico get my vote.

The reason I wasn't able to get a GCN was because I have $70.00 and $40-$50 of that is for Christmas presents. However, I'll probobly be getting one for Christmas, and then my birthday is Jan. 3. I think we're just going to combine my Christmas and birthday presents this year, to make it easer.
Now what is X-Circle? Or is it just a typo?
He's probably making fun of the X-Box by calling it the X-Circle since it's a big box.

I sure hope it's longer. I haven't heard from any reliable sources how long it is. I'll have to look around and see if I can find out. nintendo_freak: I used to have that problem too. I always use capital letters for the first letter in a word, when I'm naming files on my PC, so I'd either be doing that, or typing all in small letters. I finally broke that habit though.

That would be cool! This is what I'd want on a Mario collection: Mario Bros. Super Mario Bros. Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels Super Mario Bros. 2 Super Mario Bros. 3 Super Mario Land Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins Super Mario World Super Mario 64 That would be the ultimate Mario collection! (at least for the platform games) Oh, and here's a list of remakes for the GBA: Super Mario Bros. 3 Super Mario World (Super Mario Advance 2) Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island Yoshi's Story I'm going to have to buy all of them, except Yoshi's Story, even though I've played through Super Mario World at least 5 times. I never have been able to get all the way through SMB 3, because you can't save, and I've only rented SMW2: Yoshi's Island, so I haven't been able to beat that either. I just hope I have enough money...

I've seen new GBA games anywhere from $25 to $40. Usually they're $30 and it's mainly the 3rd party games that are $35-$40. The only places I've seen them for $25 was at Target and K-Mart, and only the 1st party games.

I got to play a demo in Wal-Mart (with the controller down low, and the TV way up high) and I didn't even notice that the controller was at the wrong height for me! That's how good it is! When I first picked it up, it felt almost like it melted into my hands... it was perfect. The only thing they could improve is... Nothing! It's that good! btw, did you know that Nintendo actually invented the D-Pad? I just thought that was cool.

The GBA is very good!!! It's perfect hand-held gaming bliss!!! I would like to point out though, that the GBA doesn't have 3D graphics. (unless they manage to put a Super FX chip in one the those tiny cartridges) The "3D" graphics aren't actually polygons, but the sprites are made to look like they are. Yes! 4-player Mario Kart would be awsome! I've played 2-player, and it was awsome! I can't wait to be able to play 4-player!!! I sure wish the GBA could handle FFVII. That would be so cool!!! I've heard that Square actually wants to remake FFIV and FFVI for the GBA, but I'm not sure if it's going to happen. We can only hope...

It should say on the back of the box if you can play with Single-Pak Mode, or if you need to have a cartridge for each player. Some games have both a Single-Pak, and a Multi-Pak mode, but the Single-Pak mode always has less options.

In Ocarina Of Time you get the Adult's Wallet, which holds 200 Rupees, when you collect 10 Gold Skulltulas. When you get 30, you get the Giant's Wallet which holds 500. In Majora's Mask you get the Adult's Wallet when you deposit 200 Rupees in the bank, in West Clock Town. To carry 500, you have to complete the Oceanside Spider House. Cool! Another Zelda fan! If you ever need anymore help with a Zelda game, (besides Oracle Of Seasons and the last half of Oracle Of Ages) just ask. I'll be glad to help!

Yes, there will be a Zelda game for the GameCube. It was confirmed by Shigeru Miyamoto (the creator of Zelda) himself at Space World 2001. Be warned though! It has a "new look" to it. Here's a screen shot:

I'd like Raiha to win. I haven't voted for her yet, and I'm not planning on starting.

Okay... I'm twitching right now... Seriously, I am. THAT'S HOW PISSED OFF I AM AT NOT BEING ABLE TO GET IT FOR ANOTHER MONTH!!!!! I feel like screeming... I've played it in Wal-Mart, and that just made me want it even more... I HATE NOT HAVING ENOUGH MONEY!!!!! IT SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Expect me to be pissed off about this until Christmas... Not pissed off at any of the people on the board, just pissed that I don't have a GCN...
-
AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I FEEL LIKE STRANGLING SOMEONE!!!!!!! I HATE HAVING TO WAIT 'TIL CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!! GAAHHHHH!!!!! I WANT IT NOW!!!!!!!!
-
NO!!! IT WOULD NOT BE FUNNY!!!!! THAT'S SICK!!!!!

I'm from the USA and I read in Nintendo Power (a reliable source) that the Spice GCN systems won't be coming out in the USA at launch. If you live in the USA, you aren't going to get a Spice GCN system at launch. And if you do, it's probobly not legal.
Originally posted by NorykoAngelcry the 'fun machine' hehehe
That's the Nintendo 64... I haven't bought any systems besides Nintendo either, (N64, GBC, GBA) although my brother pretty much gave me his PlayStation and Final Fantasy VII when he moved out, so I got Final Fantasy IX and Discworld II Mortalty Bites! Discworld II is a really messed up game that's based on the books. Other than Discworld I & II and the Final Fantasy series, there wasn't much on the PSX that I wanted. I'd like to have an X-Box... I just wouldn't pay for one. :whoops:
Originally posted by DBZChikaGhan I got my ears peirced when I was 12, Im now 13, and I had to let mine close up. Infections. But I didn' t hate them or blame the earring, I knew it was my fault b/c I didn't clean them enough, and I wasn't and probably am still not mature enough to except the responsibility of having earrings. So when I am ready, I'll get them re-peirced, but until then, i'll be content with my ears. But why don't you like earrings?
It's not that I don't like earrings in general, it's that I don't think Link should wear them. And when I said I hated them, I meant the ones Link wears in Ocarina Of Time. They just look stupid on him.

I got a GBA the day they came out, acually, and I have a bunch of GB/GBC carts and have played them all on GBA. Just didn't understand the question, sorry. The lowest price I've seen for any of the GB/GBC Zelda games was $25.00. Usually, most stores charge $30.00 though (maybe not for Link's Awakening, since it's pretty old).

Dangit! I don't want to vote for any of these people! What should I do? I'm thinking of rolling a die.
Originally posted by kuja anyone remember mario RPG... frying pan... nuff said :)
Heh. Yeah, I remember. I have an early screen shot (from E3) of her holding a frying pan, too. I've heard that she'll also be able to throw turnips, like from SMB 2. btw, Ice Climbers will be one character. They're tethered together with a rope. You control one of them, and the CPU controls the other. Here's that shot of her with the frying pan:
Originally posted by James Nintendo has announced that it will ship both Purple and Black varieties of GameCube for the Japanese launch. The company will release an Orange version soon after. Nintendo will also have controllers in all three colours with a "clear purple" controller as well.
I've known that for almost a month now. And, I also have some pics of that same display too. Yeah, you're right, NorykoAngelcry, only Jet (black) and Indigo (purple) GCN systems will be available at launch. And it's not a rumor. I read this in Nintendo Power, and so far, they've always been right about this sort of thing. (being in the same building as Nintendo has to help)
