2. Is your CPU usage actually getting maxed out when you play the game? (Keep Task Manager running in the background and after you get some bad slowdown, Alt+Tab out of the game and check the CPU graph.) Your CPU may not even be the bottleneck here, or at least not the worst one. 3D games like L4D are much more reliant on a powerful graphics card than a powerful CPU. Also, 3.0 GHz what? Single core? Dual core? This is important, since even a 2.5 GHz dual core is much faster than a 3.0 GHz single core CPU. Playing in windowed mode is probably going to give worse performance than running at a reduced resolution but still in full screen. When in full screen, all the background Windows stuff isn't having to be rendered at the same time as the game.
3. Pink has been the most requested of me. I'd assume in similar shades to what the Caramelldansen skin had.
4. Shinryaku!? Ika Musume, WORKING'!! Dem sequels. I liked the first seasons, so I'm watching the second ones too. Tamayura ~hitotose~ Liked the OAV well enough, so I'll give the TV series a go. I generally enjoy this kind of show and I'm also becoming a fan of Satou Junichi's directing. Haven't watched ep1 yet because the video from AT-X, which airs the show first, is terrible and I was hoping there'd be better video from a different station. But that's looking unlikely. Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Even if this show ends up sucking, I'll probably still watch it just for the beautiful character designs and tsundere Itou Kanae
and the loli teacher
. Persona 4 the Animation I've not played the game, but I've heard about it and it sounds interesting, so I'll see if the anime's any good. Nanako is adorable. Chibi Devi! The first episode of this airs today, so no subs yet. Sounds like it should be really cute. Shakugan no Shana III Why am I still watching Shana? Mashiroiro Symphony -The color of lovers- [strike]Gotta get my trashy high school romance (harem?) fix.[/strike] This has turned out to be way better than expected. I am pleasantly surprised.

Here's the first part of a 96 gate run of Super Mario World that I played while various theO/OB people commentated over Skype. 6. Actually, for OB XL Basic, I'm pretty sure the blue color is entirely editable through CSS. I've just been lazy and forgetful about making different colored versions.

8. I want the Caramelldansen skin back too, but not enough to make another one.
9. Pepperoni is the old standby, but I like just about any kind of meat. I also like black olives and a bit of mushroom, but I'm not too fond of most vegetables. Stuff I can't stand at all includes bell pepper, tomato, and pineapple. I'd like to try anchovies some time, but I don't think anywhere around here offers them as a topping and I've never been motivated enough to get them when making pizza at home.
10. Oh, guess I forgot to add the option in the example usage. That's fixed now.
11. This looks like a bug in the way IPB handles options in bb tags. If the tag allows for an option value but none is given, instead of using nothing, it uses the content value for the option as well. Usually this doesn't show up since option values tend to be used within the replacement HTML tags where the bad data is simply not parsed by the browser, but in this case it completely breaks the spoilerblock tag. So, two workarounds here, since I doubt this is fixable without digging through the board's PHP code: First, people could just have to specify an option value when using the spoilerblock tag. Second, I could change the tag to not use an option, but that would break all the current uses of the tag that already have an option specified.

13. The HTML bb tag is for displaying HTML code without any of it being parsed. It's not for actually using HTML. I'm guessing this is the problem:
14. I looked through the admin cp and didn't see any options for this. I think you'll just have to PM the person and ask them to delete the comment for you if you need one removed.
15. I've been playing TF2 quite a bit lately. I got it back in 2009 as part of the Orange Box, but hadn't played it for about a year and a half. My Steam name is Desbreko so feel free to add me. I play sniper the most, followed by soldier, pyro, and medic. I should start putting some more time into scout and heavy, though. Scout used to be completely unplayable for me because my old PC couldn't run the game too well, but now that I've got a solid frame rate, I should be able to do a lot better.

17. I like remakes when they actually add to or improve on the original game in a substantial way. Metroid: Zero Mission is my favorite example of a good remake. It took the original Metroid, which hasn't aged very well, and updated it with modern Metroid game play and level design to make what almost seems like an entirely new game. On the other hand, if a remake only makes the graphics prettier, I generally don't care. I want improvements that make the game more fun to play, not to look at. This is why I'm not scrambling to get a 3DS and OoT 3D. Though the inclusion of Master Quest would be exciting if I didn't already have it on a GCN disc. Straight ports I see as mainly a convenience thing. Like, I bought both Zelda: A Link to the Past and Super Mario World on the GBA for $30 each even though I owned the original SNES versions because I wanted portable versions and also because dragging out the SNES is a pain. And I played both of them to death on the GBA, so that money was well spent in my opinion. Regarding FFVII, I think the thing I'd want most from a remake is greater differentiation between characters in battle. As it is, Aerith and Cait Sith are the only two that are significantly different from the rest of the bunch. That makes combat very bland most of the time, even in comparison to other FF games that use the ATB system. Also, greater penalties for equipping materia would be nice for keeping everyone from being able to do everything all at once.
18. has been live streaming Zelda: Four Swords Adventures the last few days http://www.justin.tv/desbreko

19. R&D for a company's next home console generally begins as soon as the previous one is released. Doesn't mean it's going to be released any time soon.
20. Yeah, the switch to IPB broke all our directories since it uses different thread ID numbers than vB did.
21. I stalled after the first couple episodes of the second season. Not sure if I'll pick it back up again.
