But, they got a little ahead of me.'

He dislikes anyone with a bigger mouth than him, and he doesn't hesitate to say so. I suppose I'd end up in one of these eventually, anyway... One question, though: Why is it called 'I'm Not Okay', but you use the lyrics from 'Helena'? That's actually what got my attention... Name: Kyoshiro Age: 17 Gender: Male Appearance: Picture below. Personality: Easily annoyed. Doesn't like people trying to put their nose into his private life and gets angry when people try to pry. Definitely anti-social. Bio: His mother was in the army, stationed in Japan, where she met his father, a japanese doctor. He didn't make very many friends, since they were all put off by his strange features. As a result, he didn't learn to relate well with others. After a few years, they moved to America to be closer to his mother's family. Unfortunately, while some people were less put off by his looks here, he still sees it as a problem.

Sasuke chuckled a bit. 'I hope I don't smell [I]too[/I] much like him,' he said, 'I know I showered, today.' Kagome laughed, and Inuyasha charged at Sasuke. 'You little...' he was cut off when he missed Sasuke, who chopped him in the back of the neck, sending him sprawling. 'What!?' everyone gasped. 'How did you do that?' Miroku asked him. 'Simple martial arts.' Sasuke replied, 'He, at least, looks human. So, it's not to hard to concentrate. Those other things were just freaky.' Inuyasha jumped up, ready for another round. 'You're gonna get it, kid!' he said, lunging forward. Sasuke sidestepped as Kagome clenched her fists. 'Sit!' she yelled, sending them both crashing down.

Kal looked into the window, taking care that he wasn't seen. [I]So, this is them, huh? I wonder why they're so interested in them.[/I] he thought, slipping away. [I]And [/I]this [I] is my assignment?[/I]

Ben would've found out about them when they thought he was one. I was kinda thinking about him being an odd man out. He helps, but he's not really one of the good guys(or bad guys, depending on where he goes). He's definitely worth the time to try and recruit, even without powers of any sort, beyond his own willpower and skill. Even if he doesn't believe the same things they do, he can still have some of the basic principles. Protection of others and all, not to mention the healthy dislike of certain fundimental religious figures or ideas. Besides, having a norm in there is fun. There's always things he won't understand, even things he can teach to the others, if not on purpose, because of his outlook and not having to answer to *points upwards* that guy.

Name: Eric Corvis Age: 20 Gender: Male Home Planet: Earth Apperance: 5'7", short 'dirty blonde' hair, medium build, eyes vary depending on mood, ranging from sky blue to slate gray(while it's rare, this is usually NOT a good thing) Personality: Cheerful and easygoing, he is the model of 'the nice guy'. He will go out of his way to help people he doesn't even know and he will never betray the people who trust him. He loves to have fun and to laugh. Even with this upbeat personality, there is something unseen about him which suggests he hides a deep sadness. Bio: Eric spent most of his early life moving around, whether it was being expelled from old schools or problems with his family, he never stayed to long in one place. His family managed to settle down once, but he had grown so used to moving around he ended up causing trouble so he could move in with other family members. After a while, they became so sick of it they threatened to throw him out of the street. This sobered him a bit and he learned how to get along with his family, finally learning to accept staying in one place. After a while, he managed to make lasting friendships, even fell in love. But that was only until that damnable New Year's Eve, the night his life was destroyed. He was with his family, his girlfriend was there as well, he'd even planned to propose that night, when it happened. The wave of supernatural force that now threatens the world came over him like a tidal wave... When he came to, the girl he loved and his entire family were torn to pieces, and his hands were stained red with their blood. Ranged Weaponry: Shuriken and kunai(a dagger designed to be used equally well for both throwing and melee purposes). Melee weapon: A traditionally handcrafted nodaichi(over sized katana) of exceptional quality that his girlfriend had given him as a gift. It's the only possession he has an attachment to and he is quite proficient in it's use. Gift: Insight which results as brief glimpses of the future, effectively a danger sense that also increases his effectiveness in battle as well. Greatest Fear: Losing someone he cares about/Being overcome by whatever it was that caused him to kill the people he loved again. (only, this time, i think i'd like to explore the darker parts of him. the reason for his fears)

Oh, I have to, if only for irony's sake... that and the character's [I]really[/I] easy... Name: Benjamin Hawthorne Height: 5' 7" Weight: 176 lbs. Age: 20 Appearance: Medium build(like all my characters), Blue eyes and blonde hair. There's a small scar on his left cheeck, barely noticable. He wears your standard 'i don't give a *****' gear(t-shirt, jeans and sneakers that are probably more than a year old) with a black leather trenchcoat. Race: Human Position: neutral, atheist, just happens to know a Guardian or two. Weapon: Any sword he can get his hands on (prefers his katana) and two 10mm pistols. Bio: Ben lived an interesting life. Moving around for the first half, between his abusive army father and his mom who hadn't a clue how to raise a kid. Not to mention getting himself kicked out of most of the schools he went to, for some reason or another, mostly fighting(which he's quite good at, to the point that it was suspected that he was a Guardian). The second half was spent in a small town in the middle of nowhere. After that, he settled down a bit(thank god, for medication and realizing you don't need it). But, he never lost his will to fight. He enjoys that more than just about anything. Recently, though, he hasn't had much of a chance, so there's a bit of energy that needs to be purged.

Elsewhere... 'Do you think he's safe with them?' Sango asked, referring to the girls. 'I don't see why not,' Shippo replied, 'They seemed nice enough to me.' 'True,' Miroku added, 'But, with our past experience with demons of the cat clan, it might not have been a wise decision to let him go with them.' 'I don't see a problem,' Inuyahsa said, 'It was his choice, and it's not like he can't take care of himself.' 'Inuyasha...' Kagome began. 'You guys worry too much,' he said, 'He'll be fine. We'll catch up tomorrow and you'll see for yourself.' They all went to sleep, with the exception of Sango, who stayed up to watch.'

'You just ate a whole fish, completely raw.' Sasuke said, dropping fire wood into a pile. 'So?' Tao responded, like Sasuke was the crazy one. Sasuke stared at her for a moment, 'Riiiight...'

Well, that would explain it. ^_^ That's actually not a bad explaination, considering Dante's doppleganger style in the game.

General appearence: Silver hair, bright aqua-marine eyes and a medium build. He'd be considered very attractive if he'd smile once in a while. Under his clothes, his body is scarred, due to many battles. Species: Half-wingly Winglies: a mystical race that, while it can pass as human, believes that humans aren't ready to accept the supernatural. They are naturally adept at combat and magic, being both faster and stronger than humans, but most choose to stick with one or the other. Bio: Kal spent his life as a human, being raised by his father. His mother, a wingly, was executed for the finding of the winglies' existance by her husband, who the winglies couldn't find. When Kal was fourteen, the winglies came for his father. Being human, he didn't stand a chance against the supernatural executioners. Kal barely escaped with his life. He wandered around for four years, running from the winglies all the way. Until, when he was eighteen, he was found by a secret organization dedicated to keeping the general public from knowing about the supernatural world around them. They took him in, protected him from the winglies and taught him how to defend himself. Now, thanks to his training and unique bloodline, he's become almost as powerful any wingly and he still has a ways to go. Using his special abilities, he works for the organization, keeping the world from knowing what goes bump in the night.

I have one question, how is the Jester even there? I know about the whole 'creative liscence', thing and it's a good excuse. But, how does one survive being shot in the head four times?

Sasuke sighed, 'This is all a bit much to take in one day, but I'm getting the hang of it. This just means all those stories my mom used to tell me are true, I guess.' 'Stories?' Tao asked. 'Yeah,' Sasuke said, shrugging again, 'She used to tell me about my grandpa and great-uncle. Apparently, they were pretty famous dog demons from around this time.' Sasuke stopped, turning towards the direction of the others. 'No, no way.' 'What?' Sasuke shrugged, 'It's just, my grandpa was a powerful dog demon from this era.' He turned back to the girls, 'I was thinking that maybe Inuyasha was... nah.'

Sasuke ran up beside Tao, an embarrassed smile on his face. 'Sorry about that,' he said, 'About the whole tiger/cat thing, I'm afraid I still don't get much of what's going on.' He shrugged some of the tension out of his shoulders, 'So, that guy who showed up earlier... Sesshomaru? Who is he? Do either of you know?'

'You can shut up anytime, you know.' Eric said to the empty air around him. He'd been walking around near the Colliseum for the last three hours, trying to find any clue to the machine they were looking for. And now, he'd taken to talking to himself. Or, at least, something close. [I]'Still in denial?'[/I] 'No, you son of a bitch,' he replied, 'I'm [I]not [/I]like you.' [I]'Well, here's you chance to prove it.'[/I] the voice said, [I]'If you're human, you'll die like one.'[/I] Eric flinched as the his head was filled with images. Stone creatures, flying in the sky, blacking out the sun. They fell from the sky, killing anything they saw. 'Gargoyles.' Eric said, bolting for the airplane.

'Hey, kid,' Inuyasha said, suddenly, 'You smell that?' Sasuke looked up, sniffing the air. 'Cats?' he asked. 'Yeah, looks like we're catching up.' Inuyasha replied, 'When we do, don't mess with 'em.' 'Why not?' 'Because,' Inuyasha said, impatiently, 'I don't feel like wasting any more time.' 'Inuyasha,' Sango said, 'Go easy on him. He still doesn't know what's going on.' 'That's not true,' Sasuke said, defensively, 'I think I'm starting to get it.' 'Yeah, whatever,' Inuyasha sighed, 'Just remember, we don't have time to waste.' Sasuke sighed as they continued on in silence.

'Huh, don't waste my time, human.' Inuyasha said, walking away. The others followed, Kagome glancing back at the swordsman. 'I wonder if he'll follow us,' she said, 'He really seemed to want to fight you.' 'Like I care,' Inuyasha replied, 'We don't have time to waste on humans. We have a sword to find, remember?' 'Alright,' Miroku interrupted, 'There's no point fighting about it.' 'Yeah,' Sango added, 'If he follows us north, that's his choice. There's nothing we can do about it.' Sasuke followed behind them, silently. His mind, a raging torrent of questions. But, mostly, he just wondered about the necklace around his neck. [I]How the hell and I gonna get this thing off?[/I] he thought, [I]Kaede said not to try, but it should come right off, shouldn't it?[/I] [I]Either way, I should probably wait until we stop for the night.
