Well, if anyone is interested, I just saw the announcement teaser trailer for X3, the third and final X-Men film over on this website, but just to warn you, it does run on QuickTime only, so you will need to download it if you don't have it already. So, watch the trailer and any opinions can go here, I guess. I think I will quite enjoy Vinnie Jones as the Juggernaut, who, incidentally, doesn't look as goofy in the film as he does in the comics (by that I mean they've gotten rid of the big red helmet and things), and Angel looks pretty cool as well. Another one who I think will please people is the appearance of Dr Hank McCoy, aka Beast. I was a little weirded out by the image of Beast in all his blue-furry glory dressed in a suit, but I guess all will be revealed on the 26th of May 2006!

Kraven took a step to enter the building where he would meet his fate. The building where he would find his maker, and where his story would most likely end. He took a deep breath, and pushed the door open. "Wait!" came a voice, "Kraven, wait!" The demon turned around, and saw Amber running towards him. He knelt down to greet her. "What is it, Amber? Why are you here?" he asked. "You cannot go up there alone. The power of Sartael and Beelzebub combined is far too much for you to fight alone. I am here to help, and if we are lucky, Reoan should be here soon too." "Amber," replied Kraven, "I may die up there, but that is what must happen. I must die to restore balance, and if I can destroy Beelzebub while I am there, then all the better. It is my time, and I cannot help that." "Then let me come with you," she replied. "You can't. You said yourself it is too dangerous. Sartael and Beelzebub would kill you before starting on me. I can't let you die, Amber." "Then wait for Reoan. She can help." "No," replied Kraven softly but firmly, "This is something I must do myself." "I'm still coming, no matter what you say," the girl replied, "you can't stop me." The demon sighed. "Very well. Seeing as you give me no other choice, I will allow you to accompany me." He entered the building, with Amber following, and began to make his way up the stairs. He climbed slowly and purposefully, not making any noise. He checked his swords were in place, and psyched himself up for the battle ahead. Soon enough he reached the very top floor. Behind the double doors that lay in front of him was Beelzebub. He took another deep breath and pushed them open. He gasped. There was a beautiful-looking female angel and a dark male demon standing in a room, with the bodies of many Guardians lying on the floor, twisted into any number of bizarre contortions. "Ah, Kraven," said the demon, "I wasn't expecting you so soon." With these words, the demon merely drew an axe and hurled it at Kraven, in such a swift motion that Kraven had no time to deflect it. The weapon crunched straight into his shoulder, and knocked him backwards. Blood leaked from the wound, and he slowly got to his feet, blood dribbling from the corner of his mouth. "Amber," he said, his breath gurgling from the blood that was building up in his lungs, "Call Reoan. I need her here now." He turned back to the fight, and drew his swords. Beelzebub laughed. "You always were a strong one, Kraven," he said, "You never gave up." "Why should I, when scum like you still exists?" gasped Kraven, stumbling forwards, leaving the axe in his shoulder to cut off any blood from escaping. His swords hung limply in his hands, and Beelzebub drew his own sword. "I have been waiting for this moment for so long," said Beelzebub, laughing, "And now I finaly get to kill you." He walked towards Kraven, swinging his sword...

"Well, well, what have I done to receive such an honour to be in the great Seraphim's presence once again?" asked Keitha mockingly. "Ah, Keitha, you always did have a sense of humour. That's what I loved about you," he said, his voice much different to the last time he saw the Shadow Assassin, "We were good together, weren't we?" "We were more than that," she replied, "We were the best. There were none that could prove to be better than us." "Indeed not. I know how much you loved the thrill of the hunt. And now comes the chance for a new hunt. I have relinquished all associations with the Myrkur Aniol, and have revealed my true place: at Kuroichi's side, while he takes his rightful place as ruler of this world. You look surprised, Keitha," he said, noticing the shocked look on her face, "But didn't you always suspect something. Since I left Kuroichi, I have apparently had no purpose, but my purpose was the most important of all. You see, Kuroichi needed information on the gems of power, held by the rulers of the vampire clans. The only way he could get this information was with someone who had been cast out of the Krilat Zmaj, someone who apparently wanted vengeance. I was able to get information on the gems held by the Gwyar, the Myrkur Aniol, the Ijuuj and the Labareda, and soon enough the Silver-Haired Demon will have in his possession the Dark Moonstone, the Pearl Fang, the Blood Ruby, and the Corpse Emerald. In fact, I believe he is taking the Blood Ruby as we speak." "But you betrayed the Krilat Zmaj. You were tortured for years!" replied the Shadow Assassin, still not believing his words. "A slight inconvenience, yes, but a necessary one. You see, if Kuroichi simply let me go, then he would have lost the respect of many of his clansmen. This way, with pain to only one vampire, he let me go and gained the trust and respect of the Krilat Zmaj. It was a flawless plan, and now the time has come for us to choose our own side. And my place is always by Kuroichi's side. Will you join me, and we can work together as beautifully as we did in the past, Keitha?" asked Seraphim, holding out his hand, ready for Keitha to take it. She looked at his hand, laced in scars, and made her decision... (OOC: Are you enjoying our little game of Tag, DC?)

Talyn, although he had planned to do this alone, was grateful to have Thayne by his side. The vampires kept coming, wave after wave of them bursting out onto the roof, no longer hampered by the sun due to Tegan's black hole. It had swelled, and now it had blocked the sun out. Talyn turned and saw Thayne take a strike to the lower leg, knocking him to the floor. He turned and sliced the vampire who had hit him in two. But he was badly injured, Talyn could tell that. Blood was pouring out all over the roof. He was losing a lot of blood, but he was still fighting as hard as ever. Talyn rushed over to him, fighting his way through hordes of vampires to get to his friend. He skidded to the floor, hacking his way through a group of vampires as he did, to reach Thayne. "Are you alright?" he asked. "I've just taken a sword to the leg, what do you think?" replied Thayne, under a certain amount of stress due to the current situation. "Ok, we need to get you off this roof!" he said, cutting down a vampire. He hauled his friend up, and dragged him to the edge of the roof. "Thayne," said Talyn, "I don't think we're going to get out of this. But I think we can take as many of them down as we can. Are you in?" "Always," replied Thayne, holding out his hand. Talyn shook it, and then turned to the vampires, drawing something from his pocket. "This is a dose of Sin's anti-vampire serum that has four times the recommended strength. That is enough to kill a full vampire, but to me it should hopefully restore enough of my Wakanda side to allow me to do something I've never tried before. But I'll need your help as well, Thayne," he said, loading the serum into a syringe gun and injecting it into his neck. He fell to the floor, and Thayne had to grab him to stop him falling off the roof. He spasmed wildly, and then stopped thrashing. He got to his feet, his fangs almost out of sight completely, and held out his hand. "I'm going to cut my hand now, and you will have to do the same," he said, drawing his sword across his palm. Thayne did the same with his sword, and then Talyn grabbed his hand. Energy passed from Thayne to Talyn, and the sun poked over the black hole of Tegan's creation, and Talyn felt the energy absorbed into his body. He smiled, and his eyes began to glow with the soft golden light of the sun. "You are all dead," he said to the vampires. He lifted a few inches off the ground, his body absorbing energy both from the sun and from Thayne's body. He felt the solar energy building up inside him, and then it reached its peak. He stretched his hands out towards the vampires, and then it happened. With a sudden surge, a beam of pure golden sunlight blasted from his outstretched hands, prisming outwards, beams of sunlight blasting over the swarm of vampires, turning each and every one of them to dust, and even carrying on afterwards. But, the light eventually drained away, being sucked into Tegan's black hole. He had always been a more powerful Wakanda than Talyn. Talyn dropped to the floor, exhausted, and fell into a trance-like state, not dead or unconscious, just not in this world. Thayne lifted him up and limped over to the edge of the castle roof. "Kalei!" he called down, "Help!" (OOC: Hope this is ok, Justice, PM me if there are any problems)

Trees were one of his favourite places. Once you got high up in a tree, deep within the foliage, you could be truly alone, just the sound of the whistling of the wind through the branches to accompany you. His silver hair danced in the wind, and he sat on a branch, eating a green apple he had bought a few minutes previously. They also provide cover for those tricky situations, he thought. He smiled, and continued eating the fruit, contented. Since he had arrived in Japan, he had barely had a moment of peace. He was rushed from the harbour to his home for the time he was staying here, and from there he went to the base of operations, and from there he moved to help in the assassination of Lord Hoji. He had not killed Hoji himself, but he had definitely helped by dispatching some of the guards. "Sir!" came a voice, and Delano sighed. His peace was once again ruined. He threw his apple core into the woods, and dropped down to the ground. "What is it?" he asked, irritated. "You need to see the Shogun. He says it is urgent," said the small, easily-intimidated Japanese man. "Fine, I'll go," replied Delano. "And he says to meet up with Seamus on the way," called the Japanese man after him, having some trouble with the word Seamus. "Fine!" said Delano, not looking back. He walked past a row of houses, one of which he went up to and knocked on the door. It was flung open, and a powerfully-built, heavily-scarred man with a shock of bright red hair answered. "Seamus, it's time to see the Shogun," said Delano. "Right now?" replied Seamus in his thick Irish accent. Delano nodded, and Seamus picked up a rifle from the side of his doorway, and left the house with Delano. (OOC: Seamus is Delano's partner, sorry I didn't mention that in my sign-up)

Seraphim watched as the young vampire left the church. He smiled at how much Ramiel reminded him of himself, back when he was young and naive. As soon as Ramiel had left, Seraphim turned away from the doorway, and doubled over, clutching his chest. A sharp piece of wood, probably from one of the pews, had lodged itself in between two of his ribs. He was lucky it had missed his heart. He sat down, resting against one of the pews that still lay intact, and grabbed the end of the shard of wood. One, two...he thought, then yanked the wood out on three. He howled in pain as blood came gushing out. It seemed that only the wood had been holding the blood inside his body. He grabbed Ramiel's cloak and ripped a section off, holding it firmly against the wound. "I have to be more careful in future," he said to himself, "That battle almost cost me." He got to his feet tentatively, still holding the robe against his wound, stemming the flow of blood. Luckily, being a vampire, the wound would heal over quickly enough, but he wasn't too keen on losing blood. It left a trail, for one thing. He fished out a cell phone from his pocket, and flipped it open. He hit the speedial, and held it to his ear. "Keitha," he said, not waiting for the voice on the other end, "It's Seraphim. I have a proposition for you that I think you'll enjoy. where are you staying?" He waited for the answer, and smiled, before saying: "Yes, I've had a change of heart." There is a blonde, a brunette and a redhead on a desert island, and there is inhabited land within swimming distance. The redhead swims halfway to the land and is eaten by a shark. The brunette makes a raft and gets halfway to the land before the raft is blown over and she is eaten by a shark. The blonde begins to swim, and gets halfway to the land, and what happens? She gets tired and swims back. Ok that one probably needs to be told face-to-face, not written down.

"Be aware," he said to the others, "This war is not a responsibility to take lightly. The Reapers are not blundering imbeciles that we can easily dispatch, they are trained, battle-hardened warriors, most of them more experienced than all of you. They will be more than a match for us, and many of us will probably not survive this war. I think that it is better you know all of the facts now instead of being surprised later. You cannot believe that our victory is a definite factor, as it is not by any means." He turned to face his lover, who nodded at him. Then he turned back to his new recruits. "Kira, my old friend; Sakura; Sage; Trianna, it is time that you knew who you were working with. It is time I revealed my name to you all. Even Kira, who I have known for centuries, has never known my true name. This knowledge is what locks you into this pact for the rest of your lives, for no other Reaper knows this information." The others looked on expectantly, Kira even more so. He kept looking from his human lover to the rest of the Reapers. He seemed to be nervous about giving away this information. "My true name is Angelo Mortis, the Angel of Death, but you shall call me Sable. My title is Azrael, Bringer of Death. Now you know of my name, you are all locked into this pact until the end of your existences." The others looked on him, and felt something lock in their very souls. The pact they had agreed on was now binding. If they turned against it, they would be sent straight to the Council, and now they were all traitors. "And now it is time for the first part of our mission. Rogue souls have been sighted, each in opposite corners of the city. You will be split up to find and dispatch these souls. Then you will return here to meet up again. Remember, this is more of a test than a part of our mission. Sakura and Kira will travel to the North-East. There are many rogue souls there, but I'm sure you two will have no problem getting rid of them. Sage and Trianna will go South-West. There you will find not many, but only one rogue soul. But beware, it is a powerful soul, far more powerful than most you will have faced. I will remain here while you dispatch these souls. Once your job is completed, report back here immediately. Now go!" The Reapers split up into their pairs, and Sable turned back to his lover. She looked worried. "Do you think they can manage it?" she said softly, and he smiled and moved close to her, brushing back her hair. "If not, then they have no place on this mission," he replied, and, seeing her shocked face, added, "I am only being truthful. They will face far worse dangers on this mission than the souls I am sending them to collect. I am sorry if my honesty shocks you, but it is better to be honest. That way you are prepared when the time comes." She nodded, and rested her head against his chest, feeling his breathing... OOC: Ok, you guys know what to do. ULX, some good news! You have another Reaper joining you soon enough, as soon as Kairi posts his profile in the Inn. Make sure you all read that, by the way.

Ramiel sent a bolt of lightning towards Seraphim once more, but the older vampire simply dismissed it with a wave of his sword. He laughed at this pitiful effort to harm him, and retaliated with a blast of flame, channelling from his body, and hurtling towards Ramiel. The younger vampire dived out of the way, and ran around the room as Seraphim guided the flame towards him. He was fast, Seraphim would give him that, but was he fast enough? "Impressive. But can you handle this?" shouted Seraphim, bringing his arms across his chest. Flames boiled around his hands, spreading across his body, but this time the flames were bright white, with blue streaks. His eyes burned with blue-white fire, and he sent his arms out to his sides, throwing the flame throughout the room, leaving very little room for Ramiel to escape. He allowed the inferno to die, then looked around for his target. There was a stirring in the rafters, and rolled out of the way as Ramiel came crashing to the floor, his sword pointed downwards at Seraphim. Seraphim's blade came up and clashed with the younger vampire's, and as Ramiel attempted to lash Seraphim with his whip, the older vampire whipped out a second weapon, a wickedly-curved knife, which he rammed into Ramiel's ankle. The younger vampire cried out in pain, and staggered backwards, clutching his ankle. "Age brings experience, boy," said Seraphim, getting to his feet and drawing a second, identical dagger. He walked over to the Myrkur Aniol and held the blade against his throat. "And now, you've peaked my interest, so, for now, I will let you live. So long as you tell me all you know of this girl, this Saphiel. I wish to hear more about her."

"We have slept long enough," said Seraphim, looking out the window and seeing the darkness creep across the horizon. He woke Ramiel and gathered his things, and Ramiel did the same. They both left the hotel room and checked out. Soon... The pair stood outside the Ijuuj church, the door slightly ajar. Someone had already got here. They entered the church, drawing their weapons slowly. They looked on into the dim light inside. Seraphim opened his hand and conjured a small ball of flame, which he threw into the church. It lit up the chamber. "Something's wrong," said Seraphim, "I can't feel the holy energies any more. Something must have happened here." "Oh my God!" exclaimed Ramiel, seeing what lay on the floor of the church. Seraphim looked down. It was horrible. Men, women and children of the Ijuuj lay strewn across the floor, their bodies bent and broken into grotesque positions. Blood had been spilt, far across the floor, and it smeared up the walls. Weapons lay on th floor, unused. Pews were smashed, holy water dribbled across the floor, candles had been extinguished. "No one being could have done all this," said Seraphim, slightly in awe, "It couldn't have possibly been Kuroichi! No-one is powerful enough to do all this!" "Oh, really," said a smug voice from further inside the church. Seraphim ventured further in, signalling for Ramiel to guard the doors. He followed the voice, through the winding passages that made up the church, following the trail of blood and destruction. Finally he reached it. The source of the voice. He turned a corner and entered a small cloister, where a single figure stood, bathed in blood. More blood was smeared around this room, and the man was washing himself in a font. "Holy water," he said, without looking up, "Stings like a bitch, but gets the job done. "No vampire that's not an Ijuuj can wash in Holy Water," said Seraphim, his voice cold and emotionless, "You must really be something, Kuroichi." The vampire turned around, his silver hair almost glowing in the moonlight. He wore a red trenchcoat, and he almost seemed to radiate power. "I can't find the god-damn Ijuuj leader anywhere," he said, as though he was striking up a conversation with a friend, "He's a slippery one." "You're one to talk," said Seraphim. Kuroichi looked at him and smiled. "How I've missed your dry wit and sarcasm, Seraphim," he said. "As I have missed you, you smug git," replied Seraphim, and he embraced Kuroichi like a brother. "How long has it been?" he asked, "Fifty, sixty years?" "Verging on eighty, actually," replied the Silver-Haired Demon with a devilish smile. "Dear God," Seraphim replied, "That long? Well, at least now the Ijuuj are out of the way." "Yes, but the leader is being problematic. He's managed to slip away again." "You'll find him, Kuroichi," replied Seraphim, "You always had a knack for that kind of thing." "And who's that young fellow you've brought with you?" asked the Dark Blood, "He's a little different from your usual travelling companions. Why don't you call him in here?" "Excellent idea," said Seraphim. He went bakc out and called Ramiel in. "Ramiel," he shouted, "I've found something!" The younger vampire rushed over, and into the cloister. He stopped as soon as he saw Kuroichi standing side-by-side with Seraphim, though. "What's going on?" he asked, "What are you doing?" "I can't believe I had you fooled for that long, you gullible little boy," said Seraphim, "You've been travelling with a true traitor. I, Seraphim, have been an ally of Kuroichi since the day I entered the Myrkur Aniol. I was never loyal to them. Kuroichi is the only one I have ever been loyal to. Although the Myrkur Aniol did teach me some neat tricks. Such as this one!" He gathered a ball of flame in his hands, and hurled it at Ramiel. The young vampire held his own hands out and blocked the fireball with a barrier of thunder. "So, the Angels have taught you well," said Seraphim, "Let's see how good you are against this!" He raised his hands, and a plume of fire shot from the ground, flying up into the rafters of the church. It wreathed around the wooden rafters, setting light to them, and a lizard-like head formed from the flame. The plume of fire became a dragon, formed from pure flame, and Seraphim guided it with his hands towards Ramiel. The dragon gathered speed, threatening to slam into Ramiel, ripping him to pieces... Water sloshed against the side of the boat, rocking it slightly, and Alex looked over towards the castle that loomed over them. It was little more than a ruin now, but he could tell that it had been grand once, home to many brave knights, and place of many battles. Or maybe I'm just a hopeless romantic, thought Alex. He thought that it was probably the latter, and looked on as they floated gently towards the island. Suddenly... The sky was lit up with fire. He looked back and saw the old one conjuring flame into the sky. His armour, although heavy and slightly cumbersome, felt right on him. He felt at home in his armour, with a longsword in his hand. He had discarded his helmet way back up the field. The castle was under heavy siege now, but he felt confident they could win. The enemy closed in on him, and he swung his weapon, cleaving through enemy ranks. There were some who said he was like a demon when he had a sword in his hand, but he just felt instinct kicking in. He had been fighting all his life, and it was simply his way of life now. Blood stained him, his armour and his weapon were drenched in the scarlet liquid that poured from his enemies' wounds. And yet, he felt right. He was in his place... "Alex," came Kei's voice, "Snap out of it!" She shook him, and he snapped out the trance-like state he was in. "What happened?" she asked. "I don't know. I kinda had a vision like yours. I was in a battle, I was wearing armour. I killed a lot fo people." "Slightly scarier than mine, then," she said, half-joking. "It must be something about this place," he said, slightly creeped out. A sudden chill came about, and he pulled his jacket on, and wrapped his scarf around his neck to keep himself warm. Kei was shivering slightly, so Alex dug into his bag and pulled out a spare jumper. "Here you go," he said, offering the garment to her, "You look cold."

Another one... Or maybe more... There was definitely more than one. There were more than two, even. There were around a dozen Guardians, all standing around the demon, their grey cloaks wrapped around them like death-shrouds. "What is your quarrel here?" the demon asked, his voice resonating around the park, "I have done nothing." "You have merely existed," replied one of the grey-cloaked figures, although it was almost impossible to tell which one, "Your existence has thrown this world into chaos, and you must be wiped from this planet." "You are welcome to destroy me, Guardians, if you can," he replied, drawing his swords. The Guardians drew various bladed weapons, ready to fight the demon. No... came a voice that seemed to come from everywhere at once, It is not his time yet. The Guardians sheathed their weapons. "You have been spared," said one of them, "For now." They all seemed to vanish into clouds of smoke, disappearing before Kraven's very eyes. The demon sheathed his swords, and turned. He sniffed the air. The stench of demonic energy filled this place. Beelzebub was near, he knew it, and there was another with him, not demon, not Guardian. An angel. But who? Could it be...? The angel they were searching for, in the same place as the demon they were searching for? Could the angel be Sartael? Kraven reached into his pocket and pulled out something that he had not used often in this lifetime. A small black cell phone. He flipped it open and hit one of the speeddial buttons. It rang, and then an answer came. "Kraven?" it said, "What's going on?" "Something that might interest you," he replied, "I think our angel and our demon are both in the same place. And there are quite a lot of Guardians around as well, but less every minute. I think there's a fight going on." "Beelzebub and Sartael in the same place? Would they risk it?" Reoan replied. "Perhaps they do not know we are looking for them. That is the only solution I can imagine." "Then perhaps you and Asariel will se each other again before the end." She hung up. Kraven flipped the phone shut and replaced it in his pocket. Just to let you know that Raiyuu is not posting because his university internet connection is down. Hopefully it should be back up in the next few days, so he should be able to post soon.

Interesting, most interesting. Didn't I say this would be good? Anyway, a little more information on me, I should be doing my Graphics GCSE coursework right now, and I would but I have to print around 12 pages of stuff off. I play saxophone, and have been doing for 7 years, am currently at Grade 6 level. I also play bass guitar, but I haven't been doing that for too long, just under a year. I am in a band, we've been together for about a year, but we haven't actually played any gigs or had more than 1 full rehearsal, as our drummer is slightly elusive, and clashing social lives doesn't help. And also, Imi, it is surprising and actually a little scary how much we have in common. I was born only 6 days after you, one of my favourite writers is Terry Pratchett, and I have just finished reading Good Omens for the third time. I also love the 4400, and although I haven't seen Threshold, it looks like the kind of thing I would enjoy. Anyway, when I head off to sixth-form college next year, hopefully I'll be taking Film Studies, English, Performing Arts and possibly Media Studies as well. As you may have guessed I am kind of an exhibitionist, I just love to perform, whether it is in Music or Drama. Anyway, keep it coming.

Ok, here is the accepted and declined list. To be honest, a lot of you could have posted far better sign-ups if you had put the effort in, but here goes anyway. Accepted Kira Selene-DeathKnight Sakura Takeuchi-Sakura (as long as you finish your sign-up) Jix-Unborn Lord Xion Sage Rashna-Achilles Trianna Spade-Asahai Declined Mute-1nOnlyCloud Alitthia Morignaua-Raine14 Namarook-anime-lover To 1nOnlyCloud, Raine14 and anime-lover, I'm sorry but your sign-ups were not of the quality I expected. 1nOnlyCloud, you gave me hardly any information on your character, and saying "he can't remember about his past" doesn't really cut it. Raine14, while your sign-up was better, I don't think having a single paragraph for your character snippet really challenged me, and anime-lover, you just didn't give me enough information about your character to really keep me interested. To DeathKnight, Sakura, ULX, Achilles and Asahai, welcome aboard. Hopefully this RP should be a lot of fun, if you can all keep it going. I will be posting an Underground thread later, and it should go up in the Square later today. Thank you all for signing up.

"Keitha," replied Seraphim, "I really do not have time for this. We have places to be." He tried to walk past her, gesturing for Ramiel to do the same. "Well, you'll just have to make time for me, won't you?" replied the Gyshram vampiress, pushing him back, "You must have time for an old friend." Seraphim sighed. "Very well. But this cannot take long. We need to be somewhere," he replied, exasperated. Soon, they sat in a coffee shop in the airport, none of them drinking anything. "I take it the place you need to be is the Ijuuj temple. That's exactly where we are heading," Keitha said silkily. "Then I take it Leila is somewhere around here as well," said Seraphim, "You two never travel apart, as I seem to remember. You always came as a set." "Speaking of travelling companions, who is yours?" she asked, turning to look at Ramiel. "I am Ramiel of the Myrkur Aniol," he replied rigidly. "Ooh, you've got yourself another deserter, Seraphim. I hope you've told him what happened to your last travelling companion. No? Then perhaps I should inform him of your curse." "Curse?" asked Ramiel, turning to look at Seraphim. The Flaming Angel never moved his gaze from Keitha. "Anyone I have ever travelled with has always ended up dead. We never had proof, but it was most likely that they were killed by Gyshram assassins. Most likely Keitha here and her friend Leila." "We could never stand you to be with anyone else, Seraphim. That's why she had to die." "What's going on?" asked Ramiel, thoroughly confused by this conversation. "It is a long story, child," replied Keitha, "And not one for now. But, for now, how about we share transport to the Ijuuj temple. We are all heading that way, anyway." "What do you mean, "all"? Who else is here?" asked Seraphim nervously. "I am here, you two are here, Leila is here," she replied, sounding as though she hadn't quite finished. "Who else, Keitha?" "He is here." "Kuroichi?" asked Ramiel. "We already knew he was here. But the other," said Seraphim, "I can't believe you've brought him here." "He chose to come here himself. We had no part in it," replied the assassin. "Kashi is here?" asked Seraphim. "Yes. It wouldn't be a party without Kashi, now, would it?" she asked. Seraphim stood, his hand on his weapon. "Now, now, Seraphim, it wouldn't be doing to lose your temper in a public place such as this, now, would it?" asked the Gyshram. "Come on, Ramiel," said Seraphim, turning away, "We are leaving." "I look forward to our next encounter, Seraphim," shouted Keitha as they walked away, "The Ijuuj temple awaits! And it was lovely to meet you, Ramiel!" (OOC: Hope this is ok, everyone, I have set up a little tension between Seraphim and some of the other characters, just PM me if any of this is not ok)

In answer to the original question: no, I do not think that the world is coming to an end. Some people say that horrible things are happening now, signalling the Apocalypse, but much worse things have happened in the past, and the world has never ended then. Natural disasters happen all the time, and if one destroys the Earth, then I guess that's just bad luck on our part. If a comet happens to stray from somewhere in the universe an collide with Earth, again that's just bad luck. But as for Bush being the antichrist? No way. I would never have thought the Antichrist could be so stupid, for one thing. And anyway, if he really was the Antichrist, then you'd think he'd have done something by now, not just gone to war with any country that hasn't sent them a Christmas card in the last twenty years. But to be fair, all religious people are allowed their own point of view, I'm not saying that any of them are wrong, I'm just saying that if the world is ending then what are we supposed to do about it? I say just sit back and relax, or try and live every day to its fullest, blah blah blah.

Ok, basically, this thread stems from my being at OB for a little over a year now, and still not really knowing anyone. So, I am asking: Who Are You? This encompasses many different things, such as: -Are you male or female? -Where do ya hail from, stranger? -How old are you? -Do you have siblings? And any other information you'd be willing to submit. Hopefully this will allow everyone at OB to get to know each other just a little better. For starters, I am a guy named Phil, from Reading, England, and I am 15 years old, believe it or not. I have one brother, who is also on the Boards and may end up revealing himself to you eventually. Any more for any more?

I'm a pure-blood Brit, born and bred. If you want specifics, then I live in a little town called Reading, which is about an hour's drive away from London. She lives in Scotland! My first response is to inform them that Scotland isn't actually England, and no I do not know their sister because I do not know everyone in the entire country! Sorry, I'm very passionate about my country.

The hawk circled, then dropped down to sit on his shoulder. He smiled at her, then gave her a little food from his pouch. She poked her beak into his ear, and made a strange, clacking noise. He stopped walking, and Ramiel turned back. "What is it?" he asked urgently, "What is she telling you?" "We have a change of plan. We are not going to Russia. We are going to Italy, to the home of the Ijuuj. Kuroichi is turning his power towards them, and he could end up attacking them any day now. We have to stop him. With the Ijuuj out of the way, there are very few who oppose Kuroichi. We need as many allies as possible," replied Seraphim. "How are we going to get from Israel to Italy fast enough?" asked Ramiel, "There's no way." "We need to catch a plane," said Seraphim, "Now." ---------- Almost two hours later, they were boarding a plane, their weapons disguised in the cargo hold. They had only just managed to get past customs with them, but it had been easier when they had conned their way through as martial arts experts. They sat on the plane, in silence. They had very little to talk about. It had been a bit of a shock for Ramiel. Twenty-four hours ago, he had believed everything the Council had told him, about the war against Kuroichi, about Seraphim being a traitor, everything. But now here he was, going against all the teachings of his masters, siding with the ultimate blasphemer, the biggest heretic known to the Angels, and travelling to fight alongside him and the band of evil ones known as the Ijuuj. It was a slight shock to the system. "I am a traitor," said Seraphim softly. "What?" "I know what you're thinking. You think I am a traitor, that I left the Myrkur Aniol to side with Kuroichi, and now I am turning against him. That's what the Council has told you all. It's all true." "You sided with Kuroichi?" "Oh, yes. But then he went too far. He is trying to take over all the clans, to become a god. No vampire is meant for that. So I left him, but Kuroichi doesn't deal with deserters lightly. He had me tortured. I tried to fight him, but he is too powerful. When I finally escaped, there was nowhere I could turn. I could not join the Krilat Zmaj, the Gyshram or the Zugai, they were all too close to Kuroichi, and I couldn't turn back to the Myrkur Aniol, as I had technically betrayed them. The Gwyar wouldn't take me, as I couldn't remember my own history. The Gwyar only take vampires of the purest blood, and ideally you need to be born into their ranks. I never really felt anything for the Ijuuj or the Labareda. The Mirichai have lost sight of the true purpose of life, and the Knubrap are too barbaric for me." "What of the Nyroma?" "I spent a lot of time with them. I learnt how to do fantastic things, but my place was never truly with any clan. I am a wanderer by nature, that's why I left the Myrkur Aniol in the first place." "The world has changed, hasn't it?" asked Ramiel, "War is brewing. This Kuroichi has no respect for the ancient balance, has he? He doesn't understand that the humans and the vampires must live separately, otherwise all will come crashing down." Seraphim smiled. So young, so naive. "That balance is another Myrkur Aniol fairytale, told to young vampires to keep them away from humans. For humans wish to upset the balance as much as Kuroichi. Japan has lashed out against vampires more than once. We are a plague, not fit for this world." "You wish vampires to be destroyed?" "Eventually, yes. Our time on this world is coming to a close. The time of humans is closing in. We must all be wiped out eventually..."

Talyn rolled onto his front, blood still dribbling gently from his partially-open mouth. He could feel blood filling up his lungs, and there was probably a rib pierced through at least one of his lungs as well. He climbed slowly to his feet, wobbling slightly on his painfully-broken leg. He inched his way over to the side of the castle roof, and looked down. It was a long way to drop, and one he couldn't have managed even if he was at full health, let alone now. And to make matters worse, somewhere over the other side of the castle, a massive gravitational energy surge had just appeared, and it was tearing the castle apart. He presumed that it was something to do with Tegan, as long as he was still alive As long as any of them are still alive, he thought, Kalei is probably fine, but I'm not so sure about Tegan and Katima. They've been under a lot of stress these last few hours. I hope Ena and Fyoura are all right. Sin should be, he's always been able to look after himself. What about Thayne? He was pretty weak, even after that formula I gave him. What would I do if any more of them died? What would they do if I died? I have to get off this roof... He looked past the miniature black hole that had just opened above the castle towards the sun. It had always given him energy before, why shouldn't it now, just because of a change in DNA? He dropped to the floor and began to drag himself over by his hands to the other side of the castle. It was risky, moving that close to the black hole created (he presumed) by Tegan, but he had to get into the sun. He slowly dragged himself out of the shadows and into the bright morning sunlight. The solar energy beamed down on him, and he drew strength from it. He absorbed the energy through his skin, and it coursed through him like blood in his veins. Then something happened that had never happened before. His leg snapped back into place, and he felt the bones almost liquefy as they joined back together. The same happened to most of his ribs, and he felt the blood draining out of his lungs. He got shakily to his feet and walked over to the edge of the roof. He saw the rest of the Wakanda standing outside the castle, waiting for survivors. He was about to call to them when a voice shocked him. "Wakanda!" it hissed. Talyn turned. It was one of the other vampires he had come across during his time on their side. He looked angry, almost as angry as Noals had been when she had perished, only this one was armed, with a long, vicious-looking glaive, and flanked by a large group of other vampires, all equally armed, but making sure to stay in the shade. "Now, Noals might have been too proud to let anybody take you down, but I don't care about that. Any one of my men can take you out, I just want to see you die!" he said, leaping at the Wakanda, who only just drew his sword in time to parry the blow. "Now, if you run, we can go ahead and destroy your little friends, so there's not point. You have to fight us, and win, to save your friends. And the odds are not looking in your favour, my friend. you are one Wakanda against eight vampires, all of them top-class fighters. You are going to lose, friend," he said smugly, before ordering the rest of his men to charge. Talyn couldn't fight them all off...

Well done to everyone who has signed up so far, they are all excellent. Sakura, if you could finish yours as soon as possible then that would be much appreciated. Name: Unknown, will be revealed soon enough Age: Over 3500, but he appears to be little more than 25 Gender: Male Race: Reaper Side: Human Weapon: The Chirurgeon, a blade so fine it can cut through the very essence of soul energy. It took almost one thousand years to sharpen it to its current edge, which is so sharp it can cut through almost anything. It appears, at first, to be little more than a regular jet-black katana, with red leather wrapped around the hilt, but when he releases its power, it becomes something much more. The blade extends, and turns from metal to tough black wood, and the end of the blade elongates and curves, becoming a scythe, but this scythe is much more powerful than any other owned by a Reaper. Not only can it sense soul energy, whether it is good or bad, but it can also absorb souls into its blade, which increases its power. Since he has turned it on its creators, however, its power is much more unreliable, and slightly uncontrollable. Powers: He has many powers, but not many of them are known to anybody except himself. His primary power is that of destructive blasts, which can wipe out both physical forms and soul energy, and not just immobilise it, but destroy it completely, something which many Reapers fear. He can also bind soul energy, and store it in the blade of his scythe, before releasing them into the Next Life. His binding powers are far stronger than most, however, and he has even been known to bind Reapers before, something which has never been achieved before. One of his many other powers is a huge amount of self-repairing abilities. Any limb that is severed can be reattached, and any Reaper-related virus he contracts can be flushed out almost immediately. Appearance: Here is a picture of him, except his hair is jet-black Personality: He is a very wary person now, knowing that the Council is after him. He is fiercely protective of living humans, which the Reapers who are out to get him are not. They will destroy humans to get to him, but he will not let them die. He is also very different in battle to what he is normally. Usually he is calm, and although he doesn't talk much, he is friendly. However, when he begins to fight, he becomes cold and almost completely silent. Character Snippet: Another day, another Reaper... This one was stronger than some of the others. His axe was swinging around wildly, but with calculated effort. The strength put behind the weapon was incredible, and he was having trouble trying to block it. The blades clashed together on occasion, when he stood still for long enough that he could land a blow. But this Reaper was quicker than the others as well. The blade swung down when he wasn't expecting it, and it hacked through flesh and bone, blood gushing out of the wound. When he looked back, his arm lay on the floor, his sword still clasped tightly in the hand. As soon as he looked at the severed limb, a spray of blood squirted from it, but instead of spurting straight out, it curled through the air, eventually reaching the stump where it had been before. This trail of blood then pulled the arm quickly back into its rightful place. He twisted it round until the joint cracked. "That's better," he said, facing his horrified opponent. He ran towards the Reaper, his sword flashing, but he was almost too fast for the eye to see. Within a moment, he had run past his opponent, and his sword had passed straight through him. The Reaper fell to his knees, blood dribbling from the open wound. Suddenly, the entire top half of his body fell off, and blood fountained out. "I hate having to do that," he said softly, sheathing his blade. Other: He now realises that if he returns to the Council, he will be punished and sent to Hell for eternity. So, he must stay on Earth, and protect those he loves, and it doesn't matter how many Reapers that means killing.

Seraphim smiled as he walked alongside his new companion. He was beginning to find people who thought like him. However, this had happened once before, and it didn't turn out well... She lay in a pool of her own blood, slowly dying from numerous stab wounds across her body. A sword still lay impaled through her stomach, blood gushing out of the wound. He lifted her head, and she turned it weakly to look deep into his eyes. "Please don't die," he said, tears falling from his eyes to her face. He had handled death before, but never this close to home. She was the only thing in his life that had ever made sense, and now he was going to lose her. "I'm sorry," she said, her life-force slowly ebbing away. Her eyes rolled back in their sockets, and she breathed out slowly... He shook his head. That memory hadn't come up for a long time, and he wasn't sure why it had now. He walked silently with Ramiel for a while, until the young vampire turned to him and said, breathlessly: "We need to take a break. I'm not used to walking this far." "You obviously have never been travelling," said Seraphim with a cold laugh, "We cannot take a break. We need to be in Russia within the next few days. We must keep travelling all through the night. You can rest during the day." The other vampire reluctantly agreed, and they continued walking into the night... (OOC: Sorry, short post, Starwind, you can pick it up and do whatever you want with it)

Shadow was still celebrating the fact that the Adventurers had won another game, so he was even too excited to eat the gross fish that had come out of Pac-Man's mouth. He ran as fast as he could down the beach, then back, something which took all of thirty seconds, then he waded out into the water quickly and swam four times round the island in under four minutes. The rest of the team were impressed with his speed, but not so impressed with his big-headedness about it. He eventually came out of the water and dried himself off in the setting sun, before finally settling to have something to eat. As he gorged himself on fish and Wumpa fruit, he sat back and talked to the other members of the team. Lara was telling stories of her adventures in various tombs across the globe, and an upcoming one to another tomb somewhere in Africa. Crash was bragging to Fox about how he had once taken on a manic Kangaroo and won, and Fox was coming back with stories of his outer-space adventures with his friend Falco. Shadow looked around, and realised how much he had enjoyed everyone's company over the last few days. These last couple of challenges had really brought them together as a team, but it was soon going to be time to split the team up. He turned away from the group and began to walk up the beach...
