Name of Angel/Demon: Lucifer, Demon of Pride Name of Avatar: Alexander Hellios Age of Avatar: 25 Sex of Avatar: Male Appearance: Body: Alexander is tall, but not bulky. His muscle is sinewy, and does not bulk him up a huge amount, but it does increase his strength greatly. His feet are rather too small for his figure, and his hands are long and slender, with flexible fingers with perfectly manicured nails. Face: His face is long and slim, like the rest of his body, and his chin is pointed slightly. He has been known before as a "pretty-boy," but he doesn't mind this. Skin: His skin is very slightly tanned, and very soft and smooth, as he moisturises fairly often. Eyes: His irises begin as a deep red colour in the centre, around his slightly slitted pupils, like a cat's. Then, they spiral out, like flames, through orange and into a harsh yellow colour. His pupils, however slitted, are not bad enough for people to notice on first glance. Hair: His hair is quite long, and falls down to his forehead naturally, but he gels it down further, so it now comes down over his eyes. It is jet-black in colour, with deep crimson streaks highlighting it. The spikes which fall over his eyes are tipped with crimson, and the entire back of his hair is red. Clothes: Alexander wears stylish black trousers, and pointed, shiny black shoes, with a shirt, often red or black, and a knee-length black jacket. He wears a small necklace, just a chain really, and a solid metal ring on his left index finger. Sometimes he wears black leather gloves over his hands. Weapon of Choice: A pair of short swords, each about as long as his arms, with black obsidian-like blades and chrome handles. They are inscribed on the blades, one says "Pride," and one says "Vanity." Power: He can create and manipulate small amounts of black "Hell-Fire," which burns twice as painfully as mortal fire. However, he cannot create much of it, only small flames, not raging infernos, otherwise he is left completely drained and unable to do anything for a few days. Favourite Colour: Black Likes: He enjoys inflicting pain on others, especially long, agonising amounts of pain. He is, in short, a sadist. He also loves to cause chaos and havoc, taking great pleasure in destruction. Dislikes: He hates conformity, and tries to stand out in a crowd whenever possible. Biography of Avatar: Alex has lived on Earth for fifteen years, and has done his best to cause havoc and mayhem wherever he went, as well as torturing the odd person along the way as well. Any terrorist atrocity in the last fifteen years, and Alexander has probably been a part of it, no matter how small. He has been hunted by the police, but they can never catch him, so currently he is on the run from the law. Personality: Alex seems to be one of the normal ones, getting along well with everyone around him. But, behind closed doors, he is a complete psychopath. He has killed a lot of people in his short time on Earth, some in large scale terrorist atrocities, others in personal, one-on-one torture and murder sessions. Mortal enemy: Senturonuk-Goddess of Advertisement and Control, because she causes people to conform to a single line of work, or leisure, or dress. All-in-all: The suave psychopath (OOC: Hope this is okay) -

Garrek sat in his cell, curled up in a ball in the corner of the room, his head between his knees. The floor and walls of the cell were cold and dirty, and they covered his trousers in dust. There was a loud metallic clunking noise, and Garrek looked up as the huge hard wood door was pushed open, with a considerable amount of force. A man in a large suit of armour walked in, flanked by two others in similar, but not as decorated suits of armour. The metal plates of their armour scraped against each other and their chainmail jangled as they moved. "I am General Yuri Rein. What will I call you?" said the leader, the man in the most decorated suit of armour. Garrek looked up at him and said: "Garrek Flynt." "Well, Garrek Flynt, you will come with me to the interrogation room," said Rein. "Oh yeah? Are you going to make me?" replied Garrek angrily, jumping to his feet, ready to fight, even without his swords. Rein signalled to the guards, and one of them punched Garrek in the stomach with a gauntleted hand. Garrek doubled over, and collapsed to the floor. The two guards grabbed him and carried him down the hall to a small, dark room without any windows. He sat down in a wooden chair, and Rein sat in the chair opposite him across the table. Rein looked at him for a moment, then began to talk. "Now, Garrek Flynt, which world are you of?" he asked. "What are you talking about?" replied Garrek. "From the others we have interrogated, we find some of your group are from a planet called Earth. We wish to know whether you are from Earth or if you are a citizen of Flora." "I'm from Flora, and proud of it!" he said, puffing his chest out comically. "Stop the comedy, we don't have time for it," said Rein exasperatedly, "Now, how did you come to join the group?" "They were walking through the forest where I normally hunt, and they seemed like they didn't really know where they were. I asked them where they were from, because I didn't recognise the kind of clothes they were wearing. The apparent leader of them, called Aron, told me they were from Earth." "Had you ever heard of Earth before Aron mentioned it?" "No, that was the first time I had ever heard of it. I asked them a few questions about it. I thought it was a city, or a town, so I asked them which city it was near. They laughed and said it was a different world from this one. I didn't really understand, so I decided to accompany them to protect them, and learn more about Earth. I'm very curious about the fact that there are other worlds out there, you understand, so I wished to learn more about Earth." "So, you decided to follow them even though you didn't know them at all?" "Yes. Well, I decided that if they weren't from this world, then they probably wouldn't want to hurt anyone, they would just be wanting to get home. So I figured that they wouldn't hurt me at all. And anyway, if they did try to hurt me, then I can take care of myself quite well, you understand." "Yes, a few of my men have mentioned that fact. Very well, Garrek, if that is all you know, then you may leave. Go back to your cell, and I will pass judgement on you later." He nodded to the guards, who escorted Garrek back out of the interrogation room and back to his cell, where he sat and waited.

"Kite! What's wrong!" shouted Alec as he saw Kite staring blankly out of the window, shaking and sweating, pale as a ghost. He turned slowly to look at Alec. "Enyo and some other people are going into the NASA facility! They're going to get themselves killed!" he said shakily. "We have to stop them!" said Alec. He ran down the stairs and out of the front door. He ran as fast as he could to try and get to the people before they could get into the facility. "Stop!" he shouted, "You're going to get yourselves killed!" The three people turned and looked at him, then turned back and continued walking. He recognised one as Enyo, one as the girl who he had fought in the allewyway, but he didn't recognise the guy with them. "Seriously! The people in that facility are dangerous, you could get yourselves killed or worse!" protested Alec, but to no avail. The three walked into the building, and Alec fell to his knees, knowing that they wouldn't come out of there alive...

I think for Miyamoto vs. Kairi that the winner should be Kairi. It was a very hard choice, and I found it really tough deciding, but overall, after re-reading the thread again and again, I came up with my decision, based mostly on the fact that Kairi's writing style was slightly more to my taste, and obviously that he completely battered Miyamoto near the end of the fight. Again, it was a really hard decision, very difficult for me to make, and Retribution, I though your writing was very strong as well (I for one am dreading the moment when I end up fighting you!), but Kairi's was ever so slightly stronger. Hope this is cool with everyone.

Phoenix was in the woods, practicing with his newly-acquired powers. He closed his eyes, held his hands out, and concentrated on the tree in front of him. The crest emblazoned on his back, the Crest of Destruction, shone with bright red light, and spun around. He opened his eyes, and they flashed the same red as the Crest on his back. The tree he had been concentrating on exploded, smashing into tiny splinters. Phoenix smiled. He could do many things with this power. Then, the Crest on his chest, Intelligence, shone with a cool blue colour, and he gathered a ball of blue flame in his hands, throwing it at the nearest tree, a sturdy young sapling, and set it alight, burning with blue flames. He smiled again. Before he could attempt to try out the third Crest, the Crest of Darkness, Godo walked into the woods, and said: "You have become rather handy with your powers, I see, Phoenix." Phoenix whirled around and saw the small man standing there. He looked at him suspiciously. "How did you follow me here?" he asked. "You're going back to Roland. So am I. It was inevitable that if we took the same or similar path that we would bump into each other eventually." Phoenix grunted and turned back to his practice. "I wouldn't try out the final Crest until you have people around you who can help you, Phoenix. It can get out of hand occasionally." "If I am to use this power to defeat Chaos, then I should begin practice straight away, should I not?" "The Crests of Destruction and Intelligence, perhaps, but the Crest of Darkness has engulfed many an unworthy mind. You must make sure you are ready before you use that power. Do you understand?" Phoenix nodded, put his tunic and cloak back on, jumped onto Inferno's back and rode away, towards Roland's castle. It wasn't long before he reached Roland's castle, and there he dismounted Inferno and hid him in the woods. He didn't trust the others with his horse yet. He walked into the castle slowly. It seemed that no-one else was there yet.

The Assassin?s Guild is an organization that has been around for centuries. It began in France, but soon had members all across the globe, from Russia to Texas. Only the most highly skilled assassins are chosen to join, and even then they must go through a series of tests to prove their worth. The current leader is a man simply named Kage, a highly skilled assassin, who, as well as directing the rest of the assassins to their targets, also makes many hits himself. He only takes high-profile hits, such as high-level politicians, and only for a price. However, he is the best in the business, and will always get the job done. You are part of the Assassin?s Guild, based in Los Angeles, but you can come from anywhere in the world. You shall choose your weapons in the process of the RP, and not until you have all proved your worth to me, Kage, shall I give you your tasks. Here is the information I need from each of you: Name: make it go with your place of origin Age: Gender: Place of Origin: anywhere in the world Personality: Appearance: a picture or a detailed description Bio: How did you come across the Assassin?s Guild and how did you manage to get to the level where you would be asked to join? Also, how were you asked to join? You will choose your weapons during the RP. I will be playing Kage, and I will post my profile when a few people have posted theirs.

Anarchy tugged at his weapon, trying to separate it from the handle of Ozy's. It was wedged in pretty tight. So, instead of wasting both of their time with it, Anarchy simply jumped and kicked the weapon out of Ozy's hands. Both weapons went flying, and landed in the mud with a *squelch*. Now both combatants only had one weapon. Anarchy slid backwards from the landing, his robe dragging in the mud. His bright red hair was now plastered completely down his face, dripping onto the already sodden floor. Ozy flipped her rapier from one hand to the other, working out which hand it was better suited to. Both of the fighters were breathing heavily, their breath coming out in clouds of steam. They seemed to both be waiting for the other to make a move. Finally, Anarchy got bored of waiting, and rushed Ozy, his single wheel slicing through the air towards her. He swung the weapon at Ozy, who ducked the swing, and as Anarchy swung again and again, Ozy dodged repeatedly, leaving the wheel to whistle past her several times. But then, on the seventh swing, he caught her on the shoulder. One of the prongs on the weapon drove itself into the soft flesh between the two parts of her collarbone. Blood gushed out, and she cried out as he hit a nerve. Her arm spasmed, and blood began to run down her arm. Her eyes flashed up at him, and he could see she was mad. He pulled his blade out with a little effort, and flipped backwards, trying to avoid her wrath. She rushed him, her rapier swinging through the air, flashing towards his stomach in a stabbing motion. He only just managed to dodge out of the way, and the tip of the blade pierced his robe and through to the muscle of his stomach. It just hit the skin, and nicked it, causing blood to trickle along the tip of the blade. He gasped as the cold steel was pulled out of his skin. He touched his robe softly, feeling the blood stain his robe. He looked up at her, and simply said: "Ow!" Then, he lunged at her with his blade flashing through the air towards her. She raised her blade quickly, but his weapon smashed into it, and he drove her down onto one knee, his breath clouding as he exhaled. She tried to force him away, but his strength was outmatching hers, forcing her further down...

James walked Yelena back to her room, where she sat down on the bed. He walked over to her and sat down beside her. "Are you alright?" he asked. She looked up at him, tears running down her cheeks. It smeared her eye make-up down her face, staining her pretty face black. "I'm okay, just a little shaken up, that's all," she replied shakily. He put his arm around her and squeezed her shoulder. He looked into her eyes, and saw genuine fear there. He smiled, trying to comfort her. "I'll tell you what we'll do. You have a shower or a bath or something, and I'll be back here in a little while and we can take a walk or something. We'll go out in the sunshine, as far away from the shadows as we possibly can. Sound good?" She nodded feebly. He smiled, and gave her a quick hug, before leaving the room and going to his own room. He lay back on the bed, and took his shirt off, throwing it into the corner of the room. He rubbed his eyes, not believing he could be so tired at this time of day. He stripped off and got into the shower, feeling unclean from the darkness. After half an hour of intensive scrubbing, he felt clean enough to stop. He got out of the shower, towelled himself dry and got dressed. He sat on the bed, relaxing for a few minutes before leaving his room and going to pick up Yelena. He knocked on her door, and waited for a reply... (OOC: Tag again Ozy! Sorry to be doing this so much)

Alec and Kite looked at the plumbing system, seeing only a mass of lead piping, all of which was rather confusing. Alec scratched his head, and turned to Kite. "Maybe we should just go and try a tap or something," he said. "Hm. I guess you're right." They went back upstairs and Alec walked over to the sink. He turned on the cold tap. Water rushed out of it. He turned it off and tried the hot tap. Water came out of that one as well. "Well, I guess we have water. I wonder whether we have electricity," said Kite. Alec flicked the light switch. Nothing happened. "Dammit!" he shouted. They walked back to the kitchen area, and, seeing everyone around there, they told them the news. "Ok, we have hot and cold water, but no electricity." "I wondered why this stove wasn't sparking. The gas is coming out, but there's no spark to light it," said Cassie, fumbling around with the stove. Alec stepped up. "Maybe I can help," he said. He concentrated hard on his finger, and a small jet of flame shot out. He held it to the stove, and as Cassie turned the gas on, Alec's flame ignited it. Then, Alec drew his finger up to his mouth, and blew the flame out gently. "Wow," said Cassie, "I didn't think you really had that much control over your fire." "Well, I dunno, maybe it's just being with you guys, I feel much more confident using them now. I think it's just a matter of not being afraid of my powers, then they won't go out of control." Just to prove his point, he created a tiny ball of flame in his hand and spun it around his fingers, then, in a slight act of clumsiness, he dropped it onto the carpet, where it began to set fire to the carpet. Alec panicked and stamped the flame out before it could get too big. He blushed, and edged off, apologising profusely.

Anarchy's wheels clashed with Ozymandius' rapier, locking together to trap the weapon. He moved them away swiftly and spun under her weapons, aiming a slice at her stomach. She dodged expertly, and he still came, slashing with his weapons, at her face. Her naginata flashed up in front of her face and blocked the blow of the wheel. With a deft flick of the blade, Ozymandius sent the wheel flying through the air, landing with a soft *squelch* in the thick mud. Anarchy allowed himself a quick glance backwards to see his weapon, and flipped backwards, burying his hands in the mud and flipping over onto his feet, aiming a kick at Ozymandius' face as he flipped. His foot caught her on the chin, throwing her head back, but she recovered swiftly. Anarchy landed next to his weapon, and, sweeping his foot under it, he flicked it into the air, catching it and blocking Ozymandius' new attack with a single swift movement. She scowled and sliced at his leg with her naginata, just catching it. Blood trickled steadily down his thigh, and he swore loudly. He clutched at his leg, and Ozymandius came at him stronger than before, attacking him with both weapons, stabbing with her rapier and slashing with her naginata. He only just managed to block the weapons before they cut him. He threw her back with considerable force behind his wheels, and she flipped over and back onto her feet, as he had done earlier. He lunged at her, one of his wheels catching her across the cheek. Blood trickled out of the wound, and she wiped away the blood with a finger, looking at it before lunging at Anarchy, both blades drawn...

Name: Garrek Flynt Age: 22 Gender: Male Appearance: Garrek wears a long-sleeved black shirt, with a black leather armour plate across his chest. His trousers are black, as are his boots, and he covers his hands with black leather gloves. His hair is jet black, with scarlet streaks running through it, and his eyes are shockingly blue, with one pupil being in the shape of a tiny lightning bolt. He wears a black travelling cloak with red lining, which is rather tattered at the hem. Personality: Garrek is an intelligent young man, who uses his intelligence to create witty remarks and jokes. He is fun-loving, and somewhat of a daredevil, loving to live on the edge. However, when he enters battle, he becomes deadly serious, and cold-blooded in the way he kills. It is almost like he has two different personalities. This deters a lot of people from becoming attached to him, as they love the humourous side of Garrek, but they get very scared when he is in battle. Your time: Flora's Time Reasons for accompanying Aron: He wishes to learn more about the planet Earth and its occupants, and also he just wants to have fun. Weapon: Two short swords Bio: Garrek saw the new arrivals in his world from his vantage point cradled in the branches of a tree. His swords were strapped to his back, ready to draw at a moment's notice. He moved his body into a crouched position as they came closer. They were dressed like nothing he had seen before, and as they passed, he dropped from the high tree, flipping over and drawing his swords in mid-air. As he hit the ground, he crouched, lessening the impact through his feet. He stood upright, pointing one of his swords at the group. "Who are you?" he asked suspiciously. "We are from Earth," said a boy, whom Garrek supposed was the leader, "We are trying to get home. Please don't hurt us." "What is Earth? Which city is it near? I've never heard of it before." "We think it's a different world to yours. If you join us, then you will be able to find out about Earth. Please. You look like you could handle yourself in a fight. We need people like that to travel with us." "Alright then. I'm Garrek, and you are?" (OOC: The writing's not brilliant, I know that, but I hope this is okay)

I'm trying to go for a slightly darker look for a bit, and maybe a bit more arty than some of my old avi-and-banner combinations. I will be needing an avi and banner from the pictures attached. There are some words on the picture, it would be good if they could be enlarged so it is easier to read them. If this is at all possible then that would be awesome, and I would be forever in your debt.

Surrounded only by ramshackle wooden houses, the street was thick with mud as the rain fell in huge droplets, falling to the ground and smashing, bursting over a small area. Anarchy sat in the branches of a tree, sheltered from the heavy rain, although he was already drenched from getting to the tree. His Wind-and-Fire wheels lay in his lap, glinting in the semi-light. The ornate blades were as lethal as they were beautiful, and he found himself entranced as he stared at them. He heard the movement of someone approaching, and he took his weapons into his hands, and dropped down from the tree. His feet landed in the thick mud, and sank a few inches in. He groaned as the bottom of his cloak was drenched with mud. His opponent drew nearer, holding a rapier and a naginata. She was also a Blade Master, it would seem. She swaggered in, looking rather too cocky for her own good, and he called out: "Who do I have the pleasure of fighting today?" (OOC: Sorry for the mix-up, Kairi, I didn't see that)

Ok, minor mistake, there is no moonlight. It is all behind the clouds. I should be able to post the thread soon, maybe tomorrow. EDIT: I started the thread already, I hope that doesn't break any rules

James heard something behind him, and, against all his better judgement, he looked back. He saw the narrow bridge he had just crossed, and at the other end of it was Yelena. "Yelena!" he shouted, "What are you doing here? Why did you follow me?" "I had to!" she replied. James understood. She didn't need to reveal any more for him to get it. He ran back across the bridge, and grabbed her hand. He led her across, and they went further into the darkness together. Ghosts flew past them, and Yelena looked around feverishly. "Don't look at them, Yelena. Just look straight ahead and keep going. We'll get out of the darkness eventually. Ignore the ghosts. If you can't, just keep talking to me. That will take your attention, so you won't have time to look around." "What do I talk about?" she asked. "I don't know. Anything. Tell me about your family, or your artwork, or something. Just don't look around." (OOC: Back to you, Ozy)

"Godo?" Phoenix asked the man who had just crept up behind him. The man nodded, and he opened up a small kit, with brushes and scalpels inside. "I am here to engrave you. I know you have had an encounter with me as a changeling, but I assure, I am the real Godo. Now, which Crests would you like?" "I choose the Crests of Destruction, Intelligence, and Darkness," he replied. Godo stopped and gave him a strange look as he said the last one. "You wish to acquire the power of Darkness? It is a dangerous power, one that must not be abused. Remember that when I engrave you. Now, are you sure of your choices?" Phoenix nodded, and Godo began to engrave him, starting on his back. Phoenix felt the sizzling liquid splash onto his back as God engraved him. He winced slightly as the liquid burnt into his flesh, and the stench of singed flesh filled the air around him. "That's one Crest done," said Godo, "Now to start the second." He took a small scalpel from his kit, and began to cut into the flesh on Phoenix's chest. Then, when there was a small opening, he took a brush dripping with the black liquid and insertd it into the wound. Phoenix gasped as the liquid burnt the tender flesh just under his skin. He clenched his teeth as the pain seared through his body. "And finally, the Crest of Darkness," said Godo nervously. He took a larger scalpel and cut a slice over Phoenix's eye, the one with the scar. He had just reopened Phoenix's oldest battle-wound, and was now dripping the viscous liquid into the wound. He grunted as his wound burst into pain. His vision was obscured by the pain. He couldn't see properly. Then, after a few minutes, the pain cleared and he could see again. "You're looking quite the warrior now, Phoenix," said Godo, looking at Phoenix's form. He now had a large crest on his back, one across his chest and a very small crest over his eye. "Now, put your clothes back on and ride back to Roland," said Godo. Phoenix put his clothes back on, and, grunting thanks to Godo under his breath, he mounted Inferno and began to ride back the way he had come...

Name: Kyote (pronounced Ky-oh-tee) Age: 23 Appearance: see attachment, but younger, with short spiky black hair and no facial hair Personality: Kyote is a sadistic bastard, who takes immense pleasure in the suffering of others, and loves to torture people. He often shoots people in certain ways so that they die in the greatest amount of pain, even if it is not to his tactical advantage. Weapon: Twin Colt Single Action Army (SAA) Revolvers Previous job: Army Sergeant Reason for accompanying Hunter: He loves dealing out pain Background: Kyote was an only child, and his father brought him up to be an expert gunman. However, his home was destroyed by ALs when he was very young, and seeing his mother and father being ripped to shreds by the ALs drove him completely insane. He spent many months in an asylum, trying to recover, and was discharged when he was 17. He joined the army, and soon rose to the rank of Sergeant, being an expert in long-range combat. However, some of the sights he saw on the battlefield awakened some of the long-dormant insanity that dwelled in his mind. He went psycho and killed his entire unit of men, blowing them all to pieces with his machine-gun. He was dishonourably discharged, and from then on he went to become a mercenary. He quickly chose revolvers as his weapon of choice, finding the reload time exhilarating, and after a couple of years of being a mercenary, the GDF arrested him, throwing him in a cell. He was given an ultimatum: join the GDF or be imprisoned for life. So he is now part of the GDF, however reluctantly, and is accompanying Hunter on his mission. EDIT: New appearance

James stepped from the dim gas light into the darkness. He was shaking with what was probably a combination of nerves and excitement. His palms were sweating, as was his forehead. His silver hair was plastered to his head with sweat, and it dripped down his face and onto the floor. The sudden darkness was almost overwhelming. He waited for a second for his eyes to adjust, and then moved further into the dark hallway. He walked slowly, as his eyes had not fully adjusted, and he saw things as he passed through. Pale, ghostly figures, who floated silently towards him. He recognised the first two figures. They drifted towards him, and spoke to him. "James," they said, apparently in unison, "You are in the darkness. Now that you have entered our realm, we are free to do with you what we wish." He stared at them in disbelief. Tears began running down his face, and he saw who the ghosts were. "Mum? Dad?" he sobbed, "What are you doing here?" "This mansion holds many secrets. Secrets from your past. Like us, the parents who never loved their child." "What are you talking about?" James sobbed, "You loved me!" "No we didn't. We never spent any time with you. We hardly even spoke to you. Doesn't it seem obvious that we despised you ever since we first laid eyes on you? We only paid for you to go to Eton because we wanted to get rid of you. Imagine our disappointment when we had to withdraw you." James fell to his knees. He cried, his tears mixing with his sweat as the droplets fell to the floor. "Don't listen to them, James, they are merely apparitions. They are not your real parents!" shouted a voice. It filled James with hope. He stood, and, assuming that the voice had come from another ghost, he carried on, walking slowly through the corridors filled with ghostly figures. Some tried to talk to him, but he simply ignored them and continued walking. Yelena continued following James, stalking him through the darkness... (OOC:Once again, Ozy-TAG)

Kassius came out from his hiding place, and drew his lightsaber, igniting the blade. It sparked up with a sharp hiss-crack, and lit his face with a deep crimson colour. His eyes blazed through the light as he saw the group of Jedi advance through the burnt-out base. He walked out of the shadows, and called the Jedi. "If you are looking for what destroyed the base, you've found it, Jedi!" he shouted. His voice echoed through the hallways of the building. The young Jedi spun round, drawing their own lightsabers, igniting them with similar hiss-cracks to Kassius'. "Who do we have here?" he said, taunting the Jedi, "Two Bothans, a Chiss, and Jedi Master Jedoth. Oh, and of course, the wannabe Jedi Master Gartrek. Did you know, students, that she is so awful in her use of the Force that she couldn't even become a real Jedi Knight?" Gartrek turned bright red, and drew her pearly-white lightsaber. "Who are you?" she asked. "He is a former student, Gartrek," said Jedoth calmly, "His name is Katan. He was removed from the academy due to violent conduct." "My name is not Katan!" he shouted, "You shall not call me that! There is nothing of the man you once knew inside me! I am Darth Kassius!" "A new name does not disguise your cowardice, Katan." "You shut up! To prove to you that I am stronger, you shall have a taste of my power!" he shouted. He chose one of the young Jedi from the crowd, a young Bothan, and drew him from the group, using the Force to move him. "What is your name, child?" he asked. "J-jassk Fey'lya," the Bothan stammered. "Well, Jassk, do you feel ready to face me in lightsaber combat?" Kassius asked coldly. "No!" shouted Gartrek, "Jassk, say no, you're not ready for this!" "I am stronger than you realise, Gartrek. I can fight him," he said. "A courageous decision, young Jedi," said Kassius. He held his lightsaber up, ready in his stance. The young Bothan did the same. Kassius smiled darkly, then charged the young Jedi, his lightsaber swinging. It buzzed through the air, and Jassk hardly had time to block it. The sabers crashed together with a hiss, and Kassius looked down on his opponent, and laughed. The Jedi ducked out of the way, and slid between Kassius' legs, slashing upwards. Kassius blocked, and threw the Jedi into the air with the Force. He came crashing back to the ground with a thud. Blood began to trickle out of his mouth, and Kassius charged him again, using his skills in his own unique combination of lightsaber Forms II, IV and V to batter the young Jedi almost into submission. Jassk jumped to his feet, and slashed at Kassius, who blocked easily. The Jedi's strength was waning. Kassius smiled, and as the boy made his charge, he simply stood, ready with his lightsaber. The Jedi caught him off guard, however, and sliced through the flesh of his arm, leaving a sizzling black trail. Kassius looked at his wound, and turned to the boy. He snarled, and charged. All the helpless group of Jedi saw was a flash of red, and then came the smell of smoking flesh. They looked at their classmate, and saw that Kassius had pulled off an expert combination of cho mai, cho sun and cho mok lightsaber wounds. This meant that the child's weapon hand, weapon arm and left leg had been hacked off with expert precision. Kassius stood and shut down his saber, holstering it and walking away. The Jedi ran over to Jassk. His arm, hand and leg lay on the floor, a few feet away from him. He coughed a few times, and his cousin Alask held him. She seemed optimistic, though. "Don't worry, cousin," she said through tears, "We can replace your limbs with bionics. If we can just get you back to the ship, then you'll be fine." "I don't think so, Alask. I'm sorry, but it seems Kassius performed a shiak technique on your cousin as well." Gartrek opened the dying Bothan's robe, and revealed a stab wound in his chest. Tears fell from Alask's eyes, and dropped onto her cousin's face. "I'm sorry I couldn't stop him, cousin," Jassk gasped, his every breath now gurgling as the blood filled his lungs. "Don't worry, Jassk. It was too big a responsibility to dump on you. I'm so sorry, cousin," said Alask. She held her cousin as he convulsed, and passed away. Tears ran down Alask's face as she held her deceased cousin. "Now I have a reason to fight Kassius," she snarled... (OOC: Grunt Salesman has left us. He has a virus or something, so he will not be feeling up to posting for a while, so I have killed off his character)
