1. "It's ok," said Nathen, scratching his head. He got up and walked away, leaving Elisa and Indigo alone. He entered the woods, and crept through them, moving towards the nearest town. It was a small, but heavily populated town, built just on the outskirts of the forest. He crept to the edge of the forest, and changed. He fell onto all fours, and fur sprouted along the length of his body. A tail sprouted from the base of his spine, and his hands turned into paws. He leapt down into the town, and found people wandering around. He smiled, as much as a lion could smile, and leapt at them. In just under half an hour, Nathen was walking slowly out of the town, licking his paws clean of blood. Indigo and Elisa were waiting for him, and they looked behind him into the town. Blood stained the streets. "How many people did you kill this time, Nathen?" asked Indigo, furious. "Oh, just a few. Hundred. Okay, the entire population of the town," replied Nathen. "Great!" shouted Indigo, "Just great! We're supposed to be protecting ourselves, not slaughtering towns full of people! How is that going to prove to them that we are not monsters?" "I don't care what people think of me!" shouted Nathen, grabbing Indigo by the scruff of the neck and slamming him against a tree, "I just do what I need to do to survive!" He drew a claw, and pressed it against Indigo's neck, drawing a drop of blood. Elisa split them up. "Stop it!" she shouted, "We're supposed to be looking out for each other, not getting at each other's necks!" "I'm not looking out for anyone except myself!" shouted Nathen, "And if you don't like that then you can just leave me alone!" He ran off into the woods, running away so no-one could find him again...
2. (OOC: That's fine with me, Xanadu) X sat with his feet up on the table as a middle-aged gentleman walked through the beaded curtain that separated two rooms. This man was carrying a briefcase, which X knew from experience carried a sniper rifle. The man took a seat next to X. "Who the hell are you?" said X rudely. "I am Pierre, your new partner," he replied calmly in a French accent. "Oh great, my new partner's a bloody frog," said X. He twirled his combat knife around his fingers, before slamming it into the ground and standing up. "I'm no racist or anything, but I'm not working with a frog after the Battle of bloody Hastings. Sod all this." He turned to leave the room. "You do realise, you ignorant English bastard, that we are being paid ten times our usual fee for this job, don't you?" X turned and sat back down. "Well, I'm only doing this because I need the money, right? It's not like we're friends or anything." "Far from it," replied the Frenchman dryly. He set his briefcase down on the floor, and straightened his suit. "You bloody poof," whispered X. Pierre turned his head sharply to look at X. "If you are suggesting that because of my French upbringing that I am a faggot, you are sadly mistaken. I have most likely had sex with more women than you could ever dream of, little boy." "Not sodding likely, mate," said X, and they slipped back into silence, waiting for their employer to arrive... (OOC: Hope I've got your character down alright there, Xanadu)
3. (OOC: Just forget the voice from the seat next to him thing) X stepped out of the airport doors into the harsh wind that belonged to England. It whipped through his hair, and made his jacket billow out behind him. Rain splashed against his face. He sighed and put his shades back on, more to protect his eyes from the rain than anything else. "Liverpool," he sighed, "What a waste of bloody space." He hailed a taxi and got driven to the city centre, where he entered a small, run-down building. He opened the door into a smoke-filled room, with a small sliver of light coming in through a crack in the curtains. X took his shades off and dropped his bag on the ground. "Who's in charge here?" he demanded. "Who's asking?" asked a young skinhead wearing a Liverpool United shirt and brandishing an iron bar in a threatening manner. "Your mother. Now tell me where I can find the leader of this gang!" "You insulted my mum!" shouted the skinhead, dropping his cigarette on the floor and crushing it under the heel of his boot. "You're very quick on the uptake," replied X sarcastically. The skinhead rushed him, brandishing the iron bar, and swung it at X's head. He ducked, and drew a pistol. He aimed at the skinhead's head, and cocked the weapon. "Now I'm going to ask you once more: who's in charge around here?" The skinhead spat on the floor and swore loudly at X. X sighed and lowered his weapon, now aiming at the skinhead's crotch. "What's more important? Keeping your boss' identity secret or keeping your manhood? I'm going to leave that one to you." The skinhead thought about it for a minute, then caved. "The boss is through there, you sadistic bastard!" he shouted. X thanked him, then shot out both of his kneecaps as an afterthought. The skinhead rolled on the floor, clutching his legs and crying out in pain. Blood was gushing from his knees. "Serves you right for supporting Liverpool, you twat," said X, throwing his cigarette onto the skinhead, burning him on the face.
4. "We can't stay on the plane forever!" shouted Lee, firing shots through the windows at the gargoyles, giving Ivy support. The gargoyles were slow, but incredibly durable. Lee had been shooting one for almost five minutes, and it wasn't dead yet. "How the hell can we fight these things?" shouted Taikaru. "We need more explosives. Ivy, keep creating those bomb things, and I'll see if I can find some grenade packs in the back of the plane!" Lee shouted as he ran down the plane. He searched through the cupboards in the back of the plane, and as he opened one, something burst out. It was a zombie which had been stuck in the cupboard, apparently since they had left Hong Kong. It lurched towards Lee, skin falling off in chunks, and it's joints creaking. Lee took a calm step backwards and fired a clip into its face. It fell to the ground, blood making a pool on the carpeted floor. Lee found what he was looking for, and collected around a dozen grenade packs from the storage cupboard. He ran back to the others, and threw Taikaru a couple of packs. "Remember, we only have a few grenade packs, so use them carefully. Only use them on large numbers of gargoyles all grouped together. Like those ones over there." He pointed at a group of gargoyles, and pulled out one of the pins. He hurled the pack towards them, and it landed in the middle of the group. They stared vacantly at it for a second, then it detonated, blowing them all to chunks of stone, which rained down on the plane. Ivy continued to create and throw bombs, and Lee and Taikaru threw select grenade packs at their enemies. Lee saw the gargoyles fleeing, jumping off the edge of the building, presumably to fly back down to the ground. The team emerged from the half-wrecked plane, and cheered. They moved to the edge of the building, picking up the wreckage of the plane and the building on the way. They looked over the edge of the building to see nothing but darkness. The darkness was moving, though. The street lights were blocked out by the darkness, and then they realised. The darkness was, in fact, a huge swarm of gargoyles, flying up for a new attack. They burst up above the crowd, and into the sky, their wings spreading. They swooped on the team, and attacked. The team was firing wildly into the flock, not knowing whether they had hit anything or not, and knowing that they wouldn't kill anything. Then, as suddenly as they had attacked, the gargoyles flew away again. All but one of them, that is. This remaining one sheathed its stony claws, and moved over to Lee. Lee drew his weapons, ready to fire on the beast, but it put its hands up in a very human gesture of peace. Lee dropped his guns, and sheathed his sword. The gargoyle moved to him, and outstretched its hand. Lee did the same, as the others stared on in amazement. There was something clenched in the gargoyle's hand. It was a small envelope. Lee took it, and the gargoyle bowed to him. He bowed back, and the gargoyle took off. Lee opened the envelope. Inside was a playing card, and a message. It read: "This will lead you to the source of the virus" Lee looked at the card. It was the red Joker. He seemed puzzled for a moment, and then worked it out. "What is it, Lee?" asked Ivy. He turned to her and held out the card and the message. He looked very white, and was shaking. "The joker? I don't get it. How will this lead us to the source of the virus?" "Its an old joke. My father used to do a magic trick with the red joker, where he would tear it in half and then put it back together somehow. It was my favourite trick as a child." "So? Why does that have any relevance?" "Because I think my father created the virus." "What?" exclaimed Ivy. "My father was supposedly killed in the New Berlin incident, but I had a vision a while ago that told me my family were still alive, and had been taken by the virus. I didn't really think anything of it at first, but now, seeing the card, and the way the gargoyle gave it directly to me, I'm beginning to have my suspicions." "You do realise that if your father threatens to release any more of the virus, we will have to kill him?" "Yes. And I think he wants me to fight him alone. You can't follow me, I have to do this alone." "No, Lee, you can't!" shouted Ivy, "We're here to help you!" "You can't this time! Not with this! We need to find a hotel somewhere to stay for the next few days, somewhere safe, where no gargoyles can get in. Can you find us somewhere, Taikaru?" "I'm sure I can, Lee." Taikaru walked off to find them somewhere to stay. "Andy, you need to find Eric and Julius. They should be somewhere close by. I need to prepare to fight my father. Ivy, when Taikaru finds us somewhere to stay, I need you to get everything down to the hotel. Understood?" "Sure thing," Ivy said. She kissed Lee on the lips, and then walked off to help Taikaru. "I can't believe it. First vampires and werewolves, then sandvipers, then zombies, now gargoyles, and soon my own father? I have all the luck."
5. "Oh, bollocks to this," said X, the metal detector bleeping as he passed through the check-in. He was returning to his homeland, which was none too great for him. He had been despised where he was brought up. He took his shades off and faced the small, timid man who was checking him over with a metal detector. He waved the device over him a few times, and it beeped when it got around his waist. "Could you remove any metal objects you have in your pockets or on your belt, please?" said the man quietly. X opened his jacket, and slid his belt out of the beltloops. He also took all the loose change out of his pockets, and emptied them into the tray. All his baggage passed through the x-ray machine, and he passed through the metal detector without hassle. As he sat on the plane, he saw there was a ruckus down the other end. He swung his bag into the overhead locker and took a seat. He took a cigarette out of his pocket and twisted it into his mouth. He sparked up, and one of the crew came up to him. It was a young man, blond-haired and blue-eyed, dressed in a smart red suit. "Would you mind, for the comfort of other passengers, not to smoke on this journey, sir?" X took the cigarette from his mouth and blew a mouthful of smoke into the man's face. "You asking me or telling me?" "I'm asking you politely to put out your cigarette and not smoke for the rest of the journey." "Put a sock in it, you bloody twat," he said, blowing smoke everywhere. "I will be forced to call security, sir." "Well maybe this will stop you," said X. He drew a knife from his boot, and rammed it into the man's leg. He cried out, and fell to the floor, blood staining his clean trousers. "That's what happens when you try to come between an Englishman and his nicotine, you stupid bastard." "I thought we weren't supposed to make a scene, X," said a voice from the seat next to him. (OOC: Hope this is okay, PM me if its not. Anyone from the gang can be the person sitting next to X, if they want to be)
6. Yeah, that sounds like a good story, I like the way the people are trying to destroy the Matrix because it is a lie-I would have had a hard time coming up with that. So, good thinking, and I hope to see this one up in the near future.
7. Ok, those are good so far, but mimiru945 can you add a little more detail into your bio, and if you could finish your sign-up, Pumpkin, then that would be good. I don't know how we're going to get more people involved in this, but if you could tell people who you think might enjoy this about it then that would be much appreciated. Thanks to all of you.
8. I'll switch sides if you need me to, as well
9. Lee fought his way through the morass of darkness on the astral plane, beating through the creature with telepathic blasts, ones which only worked on the astral plane. He summoned all his thought power and created another creature, this one made of pure golden light. It sped towards the dark creature, and as the two met, an explosion of white light blossomed outwards. When the light faded, Lee's creature was gone, and it had taken most of the dark creature with it. There was a tiny amount of darkness left, floating wildly through the astral plane. Lee finished it off with a telepathic blast. The way was clear. He floated back through into his own mind, and his body woke up again suddenly. Reality... Lee's brain activity monitor suddenly flashed back into life, as did his heart rate monitor. He sat up, gasping for air. He couldn't see, but then his sight returned. He went to clear his head to make way for his telepathic vision, but then realised he could see and he wasn't even using it. His sight had returned! At the moment all he could see was dark brown splodges, stained with red, and then he realised what he was looking at. He ripped his blindfold off, and his eyes were met with colours, and shapes. He smiled, and everyone around him smiled back. "Where are we?" he asked, trying to see out of the window. "We're in Rome. We've almost got to move out, but you can stay here if you want," said M, strapping on his equipment. "No, I'll come with you. Ivy's gonna be fine, so I'll just throw a field around the jet so she doesn't get hurt." "As long as you're sure." M left the room, and Lee got out of bed. He threw his t-shirt on, dirty as it was, and put his jacket on as well. He kissed Ivy lightly on the forehead, and he could have sworn he'd seen a flicker of her eyelids. He left the room and got off the jet. Something was wrong. They had landed on a rooftop, but Lee was getting the feeling that something wasn't right. He looked around, and saw the sun going down on the horizon. He drew his pistols, and moved to the edge of the building, and looked down over the railing. He saw the streets, but there was no-one on them, no-one walking around at all. Something moved lower down the building, a dark shape with wings, that was vaguely humanoid. He aimed his gun, and a huge beast, winged and made of some sort of living stone flew at him from further down the building. It knocked him off his feet, and he fired a few rounds into it. Shards of stone flew off, but no real damage was done. Andy threw a ball of fire at it, but it didn't get burnt. Lee held it in one place with his telekinesis, and fired both his handguns at it. He fired every shot loaded into them, and the beast fell to the ground. They walked over to it, and Lee kicked it lightly. They stood, looking over it, and no-one saw it coming. It's eyes opened, and it grabbed Lee, jumping off the building with him, falling at great speeds towards the ground below...
10. I'm a big fan of mythology, so this looks like a good one! Name: Jonathan Kingsley Avatar: Heimdall Culture: Norse Appearance: Casual form-Jonathan is average height, with short black hair spiked downwards over his eyes, and bright blue eyes. He is reasonably muscular, but in a wiry sort of way, and he wears a black shirt and trousers, covered by a knee-length black jacket, and a pair of black leather shoes. Avatar Form-attached Personality: Jonathan is very serious about his work (stopping Auroboros), but when he is not fighting, he is laid-back and jokes around a lot. He is very loyal, and will not betray his friends. Powers: Jonathan has extremely enhanced senses. He can see for a hundred leagues day or night, and can hear the grass growing. Also, being the avatar of the Norse god of Light, Heimdall the watchman, he can create powerful blasts of light energy, which he can use as concussion blasts or as a powerful laser when he compresses the light energy. Arms: Jonathan has a longsword blessed by Odin himself. Past Containment of Auroboros: Someone had stolen the goddess Freya's precious necklace, Brinsingamen, and no-one could find it. Some way from where the gods searched for this necklace, there were two seals sitting on a rock. They stared at a shiny object at their feet. They greeted each other and went back to staring at the necklace. One of the seals was Loki, a servant of Auroboros. He had stolen the necklace, believing it to be a key to unlocking Auroboros from his prison, and was now hiding, disguised as a seal. The other seal sat there, and after several hours, it got up, brushed itself down and punched Loki in the face, knocking him out cold. The other seal turned out to be Heimdall, come to rescue the necklace. He'd disguised himself as a seal, sat on the rock first and lured Loki into a false sense of security. The Brisingamen was later returned by Heimdall to Asgard, where it was kept safe from Auroboros' men. Hope that's okay.
11. The plane headed to Rome, and Lee sat next to Ivy's bed, holding her hand tightly, as if she would vanish if he let go. Tears rolled down his cheeks. It was just his luck. He fell in love with someone and then they go into a coma. He was connected with her telepathically, but he could feel her slipping away. He was holding her mind in her body with all his strength, but he knew that she wouldn't last long in these conditions. M walked in, and came up to Lee. He put his hand on Lee's shoulder, and said: "Are you gonna be okay?" "I don't know. Is she gonna be okay?" he replied. "It's not looking good at the moment, Lee. We could lose her any minute. You need to keep a clear head, and make sure you keep her mind in her body for as long as possible while we try to get her out of this coma." "I'll try." "Okay, Lee, that wasn't exactly why I came in here. The doctors just told me to say that, because they don't agree with what I'm about to suggest. Do you wanna hear it?" "Yes," said Lee, his face brightening up, "Anything! Please tell me!" "You can use your telepathy to dive in and rescue her mind. You stand a good chance of rescuing her, but you might lose your mind in the process. Still, I think it would be the best way to bring her back. What do you think?" "I'll do anything to save her. I don't care if I go down, as long as she is alright." "Well, we can hook you up to a set of monitors, so we can pull you back if anything really dangerous is gonna happen." "Okay, let's do it," he said. Around half an hour later, Lee was connected to a bank of monitors similar to Ivy's. His heart rate and brain activity were represented by a mess of green lines which meant nothing to Lee. He concentrated hard, and entered Ivy's mind. It was dark inside, with nothing much to show for her intense mind. A few flashes of colour went past, indicating Ivy's thought patterns. Lee went further in, seeing more and more flashes of colour as he went further in. He eventually came to a brightly coloured light, which he had to shield his eyes against. Light shone through his eyelids, though, so he moved into the light. As he went in, he found an image of Ivy, lying in the midst of all the coloured lights, with more coloured lights bursting forth from her head every few minutes, indicating new thoughts coming forth every once in a while. "Hey Ivy," he said. "Lee!" she cried, happy to see him. She floated over to him and hugged him, and gave him a kiss on the lips. "How are you?" he asked. "I'm okay, considering. I know I'm not waking up, but I'm just that stubborn. It's sweet that you came in to get me, but I'll be out in my own time." "You have to be careful, Ivy. If you stay in here too long, you're so deep you might not get out again. We could lose you forever." "I know the risks, Lee, I just need some time with my own thoughts." "Okay, as long as you're sure you'll be able to get out again. I miss you. I was afraid I'd never get you back." "That's not going to happen, Lee," she said, kissing him again, "Now go, before you get stuck in here." He floated away, and felt her moving further and further away from him. He floated further away, but found something blocking his way. It was huge and black, with yellow eyes and blood-red claws. He shouted for Ivy, but all the coloured light was gone. He was no longer in Ivy's mind, or in his own. He was trapped somewhere else, unable to get back to reality. He would have to fight his way through this creature. Reality... Lee's brain activity monitor flatlined, showing zero activity, and his heart rate grew weaker. M moved him to his own bed, and the medical crew rushed in. They were losing him...
12. Weirdest song ever to get stuck in my head, eh? Well, there was a song by Franz Ferdinand, which I don't know what the name was, but it goes: "Ich heisse superfantastisch." There was also Rebel Rebel by David Bowie, although I only knew the chorus, so I was walking around singing the chorus of this song for an entire week. However the weirdest song ever to get stuck in my head was "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life" by Monty Python. I heard it on the internet and I had it stuck in my head for at least two weeks, and I don't know all the words to that either, so I was just singing: "Always look on the bright side of life" *whistles* and then "Always look on the bright side of death"*whistles*"Just before you draw your terminal breath" on and on for hours and hours. Anyway...
13. This looks really good, Treno. I must have a go! Name: Undisclosed as of yet AKA: Sidewinder Age: 27 Gender: Male Appearance: attached Personality: Sidewinder has an incurable terminal disease of the blood, so he takes insane risks when fighting or following a target, and enjoys them a lot. He sees his situation like this: he is dying, so he might as well try new things. Unlike most other people, however, these "new things" include jumping between buildings just to see if he can make it. He is a daredevil, and will take any job as long as it involves high risks to his life. Strangely, though, he always seems to come out of these missions alive, which angers him greatly. He becomes serious when he goes into his past, though. Biography: The man known only as Sidewinder has a painful history. His father was an abusive alcoholic drug dealer. He used to stand on street corners and then get young, innocent women to take cocaine. Eventually, once they became addicted to the substance, he would take them back to his apartment, rape them, and kill them. One woman became addicted to cocaine and was taken back to his flat, where she was raped. However, she was a pretty one, and so he didn't want to let this one go. After he raped her, he took her prisoner in his flat, not letting her out and systematically coming home drunk to abuse her. She eventually became pregnant, and somehow the baby survived the routine abuse and was born nine months later. Sidewinder's father then took to beating this child as well as abusing his mother. Eventually Sidewinder's mother died from a massive overdose of coke. His father didn't care, though, and he carried on his filthy business. The child grew older, learning to expect the punishment from his father, and he saw many more women come into the house and be raped by his father. He grew older still, and when his father was out, he practiced fighting, until one day, his father came home from the bar, completely drunk, and was about to hit the boy again, when the now 15-year-old fought back, beating his father to death. As he stood there, his father's blood dripping from his fists, he became aware that he could not stay there any more. He ran, taking to the streets. He slept in doorways for a year, until he slept in the doorway of a martial arts dojo. The man who owned the dojo came out, furious at the child for defacing his dojo. He took a swing at the child, who dodged the blow. The man was impressed, and took him into the dojo. He stayed there for many years, becoming an extremely proficient fighter. He studied in ninjitsu, a martial art based mainly on stealth and assassinations with a sword. He became a black belt within a few years and then went on to study various other martial arts, such as wushu. He soon became a black belt in many different martial arts, and combined them all to create his own new fighting style. A few years ago, at a routine medical check-up, the doctors found that Sidwinder had a disease of the blood, which would kill him within the next ten years, definitely. Sidewinder took this news surprisingly well, and vowed to live his life to the fullest from now on. He also began to take insane risks, endangering his life at every opportunity, just to keep his skills sharp. One day, not too long ago, a girl walked into the dojo and challenged Sidewinder. He accepted, and they fought for hours without stopping. She was almost as skilled as Sidewinder was. After they fought, the girl offered Sidewinder a position in her new assassination squad, the Black Vipers. He saw no reason not to accept, and so he did. A little after she made this offer, another group of assassins destroyed his mentor's dojo and killed his mentor. He managed to kill one of them before they got away, and has now sworn revenge on the others. Weapon: A katana (picture attached) Alliance: Black Viper (Phew! I hope that's detailed enough for you, Treno!)
14. (Contains a lot of information so be careful) The year is 2065. The whole of New York has been overrun by mobsters, part of a new gang known only as the Black Scorpion. They control all exports and imports, all trade, all industry for the entire city, and they are working their way towards controlling more of the major US states. They have literally hundreds of operatives, both foreign and home-grown, and all are trained intensively in martial-arts and armed combat, both close-quarters and long-range. They are loathed a lot throughout the city, but no-one can stop them. No-one, that is, except for a small group of freedom fighters. Brought together by a British man named Alec Steele, these soldiers-of-fortune have vast amounts of weaponry and skill. They are as skilled, if not more skilled, than the Black Scorpion operatives, and they will bring them down. And in this time of technological, biological and genetic enhancements, their chances may be better than ever, and their battles will certainly be wilder than ever. This is my new RP, where I will need members of a group of freedom fighters to battle the Black Scorpion gang. The enhancements I mentioned are what makes this RP really interesting. They give the user new capabilities, such as hyper-enhanced senses, speed, and others. The idea I wanted to get across was that with these enhancements, it is possible for the freedom fighters, as well as the gang members to do almost anything. They can move faster, jump higher, and think quicker than any non-enhanced person. This will give the RP elements of the Matrix series, with fights involving people running up walls and dodging bullets. This is what I will need from everyone: Name: Callsign/Codename: Age: Gender: Side: Freedom Fighter or gang member Nationality: any you can think of Appearance: picture or detailed description Personality: one good paragraph please Bio: Why are you a freedom fighter or a gang member? What did you do before you joined whichever side you joined? How did you get your enhancements? At least two good paragraphs please Weapons: I don?t want any swords here yet. We can start with pistols, shotguns, knives or you can go unarmed and kick everyone around with your bare hands Enhancements: 8 at the very most Here is a list of enhancements: Gravity defying: this includes running up walls, jumping stupidly high Speed: this increases your running speed, and your reaction time, allowing you to dodge bullets Implanted weapon: you could have a chain gun in your arm, or a knife-blade which pops out of your fist, or anything else you can think of Strength: enhances your physical strength Stamina: enhances your stamina, allowing you to run for longer or fight for longer Senses: enhances your vision, hearing, and smell Night-vision: allows you to see in the dark Analyse: allows you to analyse things six times faster than normal Precognition: allows you to see forward in time a few minutes, to tell what is going to happen next, or to see into the very close future to allow you to dodge bullets and punches X-Ray: allows you to see people?s insides, meaning you can deliver fatal blows much easier, or to see through walls Telepathy: allows you to read minds and send private thoughts to other people with telepathy Telekinesis: allows you to move small objects with your mind Quick fingers: makes your fingers move much quicker, allowing you to pull a trigger much faster than normal or to pick locks much easier Stealth: allows you to turn invisible for a few minutes at a time Sticky: allows you to secrete a highly adhesive substance at will, allowing you to stick objects together Bedlam: allows you to psionically disrupt electrical systems with a localized EMP field Blood Rage: allows the user, for a few minutes at a time, with a three-hour recharge time, to fly into a berserker rage, where his speed, strength and stamina are massively increased. Side-effects of overuse are paranoia, schizophrenia and insanity Accuracy: enhances your accuracy, making you far more accurate both in shooting and in throwing knives and shuriken PM me if you want me to create any more enhancements. Here is my character: Name: Alec Steele Codename: Steele (original) Age: 29 Gender: Male Side: Freedom Fighter Nationality: British Appearance: Attached but with shorter hair Personality: Alec is an outgoing, funny man with a tendency to be rather sarcastic at times. He doesn?t take his line of work too seriously, and makes lots of wise-cracks when fighting the gang members. However, he does take one thing seriously-revenge. Bio: Alec was born in Oxford, and was raised and taught there, graduating from Balliol College with a degree in psychology. He was looking like he would be a huge hit in the world of psychologists, and he was married to a beautiful woman named Sophie. Everything seemed perfect until they moved to New York just before the Black Scorpion took over the city. While they were there, Black Scorpion took complete control, and began systematic gangland-style shootings of all the political leaders in New York. Alec and Sophie were taking a walk through Central Park when they stumbled across one of these gangland killings, and Sophie was killed. Alec escaped, however. Over the next few years, Alec amassed a vast fortune on the stock market, but his life was still not as filled as he would have liked, so he joined the army. He was a natural at fighting, and soon rose to the rank of Major. He then left the army and tried his hand at martial arts. He found that this calmed him, and took him another step towards inner peace. He then discovered from a late autopsy, that Sophie had been pregnant when she was killed. This made him swear revenge on the Black Scorpion, and he started a group of Freedom Fighters, training them himself, using skills he had learnt during his time in the army and his time as a martial-arts student. He has since had many enhancements in his body, allowing him to fight even more proficiently. Weapons: A number of pistols hidden around his body, but his favourites are his H&K USP and his Magnum revolver. He also carries a large combat knife in his boot. Enhancements: Gravity defying; Speed; Strength; Analyse; Precognition; Quick Fingers. Hope this works out-it should be quite fun. PM me if you have any questions or requests. I want to make this RP yours, with no single main character. Sorry, there is rather a lot of information there, but you'll be glad of it if this starts. Happy creating!
15. "Elisa, we have to run. Stop staring at the sun," said Indigo, one of his hooves pawing the ground. "But I love the sun, especially when it rises. It reminds me of the colour of the blood I spill." "Well, alright then, but we have no time for your stupid little memories, Elisa. The humans are going to be out after us soon, and I for one don't want to get caught by them," said Nathen. "Well, that's just typical Nathen, isn't it?" said Elisa, her anger flaring, "Always looking out for number one, never caring about anyone but himself!" "Why should I look out for anyone else when anybody else I have ever met has turned out to be a psycho, or a drug addict, or a mad scientist! I can't trust anybody except myself, so that's who I care about. Me, and no-one else!" shouted Nathen in reply. "Well, don't you think we've been through the same as you? We've been through Hell to get here, and we can open up to each other!" Elisa screamed, her claws popping out from her paws. Nathen slipped his claws out, unnoticed by Elisa and Indigo. He snarled slightly, then turned and walked away, dust kicking up around his heels. Indigo glared slightly at Elisa, then followed Nathen. Elisa followed soon after them. (OOC: I really hope this is okay, I didn't really know what to write. PM me if its not and I'll edit)
16. Lee, Andy and Ivy moved slowly through the back of the plane, searching for any new zombies. Blood was splattered on the walls and the floor, and smeared over the carpet. That meant that something had been dragging something bloody, either a broken limb or another body. They edged closer to where the trail stopped, and found a leg lying in the middle of the floor. Andy turned away, disgusted. A snorting could be heard from just around the corner. They edged round, and there was a zombie feasting on an arm. Lee drew his pistol, took aim, and was about to fire when the zombie turned and looked at him. One of its eyes was hanging out of its socket, and the other was nowhere to be seen. It's jaw was missing, and blood covered its body. It began to move towards Lee, who fired into the zombie's head. It staggered slightly, but recovered and continued walking towards him. He fired repeatedly into its body and head, but nothing seemed to work. They moved back, and Lee continued firing, to no avail. "I'm gonna burn it!" said Andy, fire igniting in her left hand. "No!" said Lee, "If you do that, then the metal of the plane will conduct the het all the way through. If you try to burn it, you could end up killing us all!" Andy extinguished the flame reluctantly. Lee continued to fire. It still wasn't working. "Screw this," said Ivy, drawing her shotgun and firing a single round into the zombie's head. It vaporised in a shower of blood and small fragments of skull. The zombie walked forward for a few steps more, before realising that it had no head, and falling to the ground, dead. "Finally!" gasped Lee. Something grabbed his shoulder, and he turned around. A zombie was staring him straight in the face, and it groaned, before trying to bite his neck. Ivy was quick, and fired two shells into it's head from point-blank range. The effect was immediate this time. The zombie fell straight away. "I think that's all the zombies I can handle for a while," said Lee, sinking into a seat, exhausted...
17. Lee was at the second point already, and he saw Ivy jogging towards their location. He smiled, and considered going outside to welcome her back and make sure she was safe, but then decided against it. Ivy ran, and two trenches moved rapidly towards her position. She was shouting something which Lee couldn't hear. She was waving her arms frantically, and shouting, but Lee couldn't hear her through the soundproof glass. The two trenches burst open, and two sandvipers closed in on Ivy. One of them knocked her to the floor with it's head, knocking her unconscious. Good, thought Lee, now at least they won't know where she is. He drew his foot back, and kicked the window, smashing it into tiny pieces. He jumped out, and fell a few feet to the ground. He ran towards Ivy, but the sandvipers heard him and began racing towards him. "Oh, this is gonna be fun!" he said, letting his hands go loose at his sides, then stiffening them. The concrete around him cracked and burst, and floated gradually into the air. He picked up huge chunks of it, and launched them at the closest viper. One of them caught it in the side of the head, dazing it momentarily. This gave Lee the chance to rip a gas pipe out of the ground, and ram it down the viper's throat. It choked, and gasped as the gas ran through it's body. Lee drew his pistol, and fired a single shot at the viper. It burst through it's skin, going into it's lungs, where all the gas was, and the viper exploded in a shower of blood and entrails. The second viper was closing in on him. He ripped a pane of glass from the side of the building, and waited, the glass hovering in the air. The viper charged at him, and he floated gracefully into the air, and ended up hovering slightly above the viper as it smashed into the building. Lee then dropped the pane of glass, cutting the viper clean in half. Blood gushed out onto the ground, and Lee floated back down to the ground. He picked Ivy up and went back inside, creating a telekinetic bubble around the broken window, making sure no zombies could get in, then lay Ivy down on a bench. He stood up straight, and felt a little dizzy. He stumbled a few paces, then collapsed to the floor. All that effort had taken a lot out of him, and it would take him a while to recharge his batteries. Meanwhile, the other members of the team moved through the vent towards the third point, leaving Ivy and Lee behind. Taikaru and Farel moved gradually through the vent towards the second point, where Ivy and Lee were...
18. I agree with Skye-too much effort has been put into the sign-ups to just call this one a misfire. Anway, do we all have to switch to the gang or can we just stay put? I'm thinking maybe I would be one of the ones to try and take over your family's clan? Get back to me on these issues.
19. I think this looks like a really good idea, as long as it is done well. Here are a couple of ideas about the plot. Maybe the machines had saved a backup copy of Smith which hadn't been destroyed by Neo, and this backup has gotten out somehow, released into the world. I don't think you should have The One appear at any point, as this would limit other characters as to what they can do, and also he/she would be the most awesome power in the universe, so it would make the entire thing seem a bit pointless. You could start with certain people being unplugged by the machines, who would now be working alongside the humans, so they could jack in and try to stop Smith. Anyway, I would definitely sign up for this one if it got off the ground. Hope my input helps
20. "I can't believe I'm fighting a group of zombies," groaned Lee, shooting one in the head repeatedly as it stumbled towards him. Hundreds of them surrounded the group. Fire was shooting from Andy's hands; Ivy was making them explode; Eric was ducking and dodging, predicting exactly where their next attack was coming from; M was shooting at them with a pair of pistols. They were all fighting the zombies back with relative ease. Blood splattered all over Lee as he fired three shots into the back of a zombie's head. The zombie turned, and Lee hacked it's head off with his sword. More took it's place, and he began to hack away at the zombies, throwing them around with his telekinesis as well. He threw one back onto a long, sharp pole, impaling it. Blood covered to pole, and splattered out of it's chest, but it lifted itself off the pole and came back towards Lee, with a gaping hole in it's chest. He blew it's head off with a well-placed shot. A group of zombies surrounded Ivy, moving towards her, and Lee could tell she was getting weaker from all the explosions she had to create. He saw one swing at her, and knew that she didn't have enough time to react and block the swing. She was going to be knocked out by the zombie, when an arm blocked the swing. A silenced shot coughed through the air, and the zombie fell. Lee looked around, and saw a figure wearing a gas mask, as they all were. It was Julius. Lee thanked him, as did Ivy, and they continued fighting. They had significantly cut down the numbers of the zombies, and were just cleaning up after themselves now. Lee fired a shot into the final zombie's head, and it fell to the ground. The entire team was blood-splattered and a little exhausted, but otherwise they were not harmed at all. "Are you okay?" Lee asked Ivy, his voice muffled through the filter in his gas mask. "I'm fine," came her reply, eually muffled, "No thanks to Mr. Aurelius over here." They both walked over to Julius and thanked him again. "Well Lee," he said, "I knew I couldn't let a guy like you have his girlfriend killed by a group of zombies. You seem like a great guy, and my reactions are a lot faster than everyone else's, so it seemed like the logical thing to do." "Well, I can't thank you enough, Julius." They began walking back to the car, when something creaked and groaned, and something which sounded like bones snapping rang through the air. The team turned around, and saw that one of the zombies was getting to his feet again. The bones in his legs snapped and twisted, and he lifted himself up. His head had a giant hole blasted through it, and so did it's stomach. Blood was still gushing out of the wounds. It moved slowly towards the team, and they all looked at each other. They turned back to the zombie, and all drew their long-range weapons, pointing them at the zombie. They fired into the zombie repeatedly, filling its body with bullets from all different directions. The body fell to the floor again, now only a pile of bones and organs, with blood leaking out from all sides. The team turned again, and saw the streets around them. Every street they could see, for miles, was filled with zombies, teeming and flowing like a tidal wave of flesh. Even though they moved slowly, they could not be stopped by a small group of superpowered humans. "Well, I don't think I have that much ammo," said Lee sarcastically, "What about the rest of you?" A murmur went around. The general conscensus was that they didn't have enough ammo between them to take down the entire population of Hong Kong, so they got into the car and drove away quickly. Zombies blocked their path, whichever way they went. They were trapped. "Hold on tight," said Jung as he reversed the car. He stopped, and aimed the car at the street they needed to go down, a street swollen with zombies. He stared at them for a second, then floored the accelerator, speeding towards the zombies at full speed...
21. Name: Nathen Johnson Age: 15 Alliance: INFINITE Origin: England Appearance: Nathen is around six feet tall, with powerful legs and arms. His skin is tanned, and his face is that of a lion, with a thick mane around his face. He has claws on each toe and each finger, and fangs. Gene: Nathen was crossed with a lion Personality: Nathen is a sarcastic member of the group, who enjoys the wonders of chain-smoking. He is very cynical, and never thinks anything is going to work, that any plan they come up with will fail. However, when in battle, he goes berserk, attacking anything in sight. This is why the other INFINITE members don't like fighting too close to him. When he enters his "blood-fury," as the others have started calling it, he is almost unstoppable. Motives: Nathen was sent to the Project by his heroin-addicted mother, who needed the money given to volunteers to feed her habit. Nathen had been very timid, and never talked to anyone. But after the experiment, he has become deeply cynical. He fights only for himself, not for justice or the good of mankind, but because he is simply looking out for number one. He kills because there are some who wish to kill him, and fights because he is fighting back. He might be cynical, but he is not sadistic, though. He will not prolong a death, but instead he will end a life quickly and painlessly. (OOC: Hope this is ok)
22. Zuriel swung at Kuroichi, his blood boiling in rage from the last time he had faced the Silver-Haired one. Kuroichi blocked, their weapons throwing off sparks as they clashed. Zuriel swung again and again, every time blocked by Kuroichi. He kicked at him, landing a solid kick right in his chest. Kuroichi was sent flying back, but flew at the Angel King again, smashing into him. They both went crashing through a shop window, and Kuroichi flew upwards through the shop, before bursting through the roof, and flying high into the sky, holding Zuriel by the scruff of the neck. "Angels!" he cried, "This is your king! He is weak, unfit to lead you or any other clan! Will you accept this weakling as your leader?" He threw Zuriel into the ground, where he created a giant crater in the concrete. Zuriel lay there for a few moments, before jumping to his feet. Kuroichi flew downwards at him, readying his sword. Zuriel's sword reappeared in his hand, and he parried the bone-breaking blow. He struggled to support his parry, and finally crumpled to the ground. He flipped his feet up and thrust them both into Kuroichi's chest, sending him flying into the air. Zuriel threw fire at him like a madman, burning holes in the sides of buildings and blowing up cars. The Silver-Haired Demon looked like he was going to go down, when he thrust the Silver Forge into the air. Lightning coursed from it, causing even more rain to tip down from the sky. He lowered the Forge to point it at Zuriel. Lightning blasted from it, striking Zuriel in the torso. He fell to the ground, badly injured. Blood plastered his hair to the side of his face, and ran down his chin, falling onto the rain-soaked street. His face and chest were bruised, and his torso was burnt from the energy of the Forge. He could feel that at least one of his legs was broken seriously, and the other was bleeding profusely. Kuroichi stood over the fallen vampire, and laughed. "You are foolish, Zuriel. You cannot hope to defeat me once, and yet you attempt to twice? I am unstoppable. No-one can stand in the way of my ultimate plan, not you, not anybody!" Three of Zuriel's skeleton warriors swooped down like wraiths, scooping the king up and flying away to safety. The other warriors turned and resumed their battle. ----------------- Fardoch lay Zuriel gently on a bed, while Riku and Zaphier mended his wounds. Zuriel lay, barely conscious, as the skeletons healed him. Soon, he was sitting up, staring at the wall in front of him, where the Harbinger was hung. He hated that thing, and yet he loved it. He couldn't stand to have it near him, yet he couldn't live without it. Fardoch walked over to him, seeing him staring, and said: "It is the only way to defeat Kuroichi, my lord. You must completely open yourself to the power of the Night-Blade. Only then will you have enough power to defeat him." "But a combination of Abaddon's blood, the Skull Sapphire and the Harbinger could tear me apart." "Then you must train yourself to hold all the energies, then you must fight Kuroichi. Only you can prepare yourself for what you must do. Zoku cannot help you with this." "I will try, Fardoch, but I want you to do one thing for me." "What is that, my lord?" "If I go out of control, I want you to stop me. If the Harbinger takes over me again, then I want you to kill me, to stop me from harming innocents..."
23. Lee walked slowly out of the base and onto the tarmac. The tattered ends of his blindfold fluttered slightly in the breeze. His feet crunched on the ground. He took it slowly, as his new "third eye" wasn't used to the bright sunlight of the morning. Andy was stood outside, with two bags at her feet. She was waiting patiently. "Hey, Andy," said Lee. She nodded in reply. "We haven't really had a chance to get to know each other, have we?" "No, I guess we haven't," she said, "Maybe we could get to know each other a little better once this mission is over." "Yeah, that'd be good. I was thinking maybe I came on a little strong when I first met you and Ivy." "You did, kinda. It shocked me a little." "Well, I was just nervous about meeting you. I like to think I've calmed down somewhat now." "Yeah, you have." Lee sensed something was on her mind, and he didn't even need to use his telepathy to work it out. "Andy, I'm kinda feeling that there are some issues between you and M. Can I help with anything? Anything at all?" "No you can't, Lee, so just leave me alone!" shouted Andy. Lee backed off, and saw Ivy come out of the building. He walked over to her, and hugged her. "You okay this morning?" he asked. "Yeah, I'm fine thank you Lee. Did you enjoy last night?" "Yeah. Those stars were beautiful, and so were you. That's one of the things I missed most when I couldn't see for those few days." "What?" "Seeing your face. I missed your smile at the breakfast table, and your little frown when you're concentrating." "Ok, well it's a little creepy that you know all those things, but it's very sweet of you to say so, Lee." She kissed him on the lips, and he kissed back. "Lee," she said thoughtfully, "I'm glad we didn't rush into anything last night. I think it's best that we are saving it for when it's extra special." "Yeah, me too. I want it to be perfect when we do." "Come on, everybody, on the plane!" said Red. Lee and Ivy boarded, and took seats next to each other.

25. Lee searched around for Ivy. He searched all over the base, and then returned to the training room to see if Eric or Julius had seen her, and found Ivy working out. He walked over to her. "Hey, Ivy," he said. "Hey," she replied, stopping her workout and turning to face him. "Listen, Ivy, are we ok? I'm sorry I kinda left you with that kiss. That was wrong of me. I should have stayed with you afterwards." "We are ok, Lee, but I was wondering if you meant what you said. About feeling the same way as I do." "I did mean it, Ivy. I do have strong feelings for you. I just wasn't sure whether you actually had feelings for me or not." "Well I do, Lee. I think I've had these feelings since I first met you, even though I thought you were an arrogant prick at first." "Well, that was a fair assumption, taking into account the way I behaved when we first met. We've been through a lot together since then, haven't we?" "Yeah. I remember feeling my heart break when you got slashed by that vampire. I thought you were going to die. And again when you got blinded." A sharp pain shot through Lee's eyes as she mentioned his blindness. He scratched his blindfold, as his eyes were beginning to itch slightly. She took his hand, and stopped him from scratching. "Don't scratch them. It'll irritate them." She held onto his hand, and leaned in and kissed him softly on the lips. He kissed back, and they were left standing in a warm, loving embrace...
