Lee spluttered back into consciousness. They were in the wreckage of the jet they had flown in in. He was lying on a seat with his shirt off, and a bandage around his chest. He didn't feel too bad, considering. He was hooked up to a drip which was intravenously feeding him new blood. "What happened out there?" he asked Ivy, who was sitting near him. "You got sliced open by a vampire. We managed to get you back here, but Andy passed out with the strain of getting you here." Lee looked over to where Andy was lying. She was still unconscious. "Where's Farel?" "He's out looking for Taikaru. He's been gone a while, so I don't know when he'll be back." Lee lay back, thinking about everything that had gone wrong with this mission. Why had Red sent them into a vampire-werewolf battle zone? He knew how dangerous they were alone, let alone when they were fighting each other. M walked over to them. "Lee, I'm sorry that I have to ask this of you when you are so weak, but can you put up a telekinetic barrier around the jet. We need protection from the wolves and vampires. So far we've only had a few of them come to find us, and we took care of them easily, but chances are more will come to find us eventually. We need protection." "Sure thing, M," replied Lee, getting up slowly. He slung his blood-stained clothes back on, and went outside the jet. He held his hands up, and formed a shield around the jet. It was a big shield. "I don't know how long I can hold it up for, M," he said, his temples throbbing under the strain, "I've never made a shield this big before." "You can do it, Lee, I'm sure of it," said M reassuringly. Lee concentrated, but the shield began to falter, then it failed completely, and Lee fell to the ground. "I don't have enough power, M. But there is one way I could get it." "What?" "I could remove the psychic dampener. It should increase my power by a factor of ten. It will definitely be enough." "I'm only worried about you, Lee. Are you willing to have it removed?" "I wouldn't have suggested it otherwise, M," he said, smiling weakly, "It should also enable me to heal myself slightly quicker. It can only be a good thing." "But you might lose your mind." "It's a risk I'm willing to take, if you are willing to take the chip out." "I am." "Okay. It should be fairly easy. The chip is behind my left ear." M moved over to Lee, and held his left ear back. He saw a tiny chip. "I see it," he said. "Good," said Lee, "Now pull it out, but make sure it is straight when you pull it out. Otherwise I could end up brain-dead." M pulled out the chip as far as it would come. The spikes on the underside of it were at least an inch long. "These really went an inch into your brain? That must have hurt." "Ok, now destroy the chip. As long as it is in one piece, it still has some control over my brain activity." M dropped the chip and stepped on it, crushing it with the heel of his boot. Lee felt a new part of his brain spring into life. Sparks rushed around his brain, and he felt more powerful than ever. "Oh yes," he said, feeling the power of his brain, and he threw a strong shield around the jet. It would last for a couple of days unless he dropped it. "Now all we need to do is get a new jet," he said, laughing as his chest wound closed quickly.

Storm let out a couple of blasts of electricity, burning two of the wolves, and knocking them to the floor. He thrust his sword through their midsections, and killed them. He looked at the other three he had to deal with, and put his hands together. Lightning arced out from his hands, shooting straight through two more, and lifting the third into the air. Storm drew a sword and jumped into the air, slashing at the wolf's midsection. It fell the floor, almost completely cut in half. Blood gushed out onto the floor, and Storm simply watched as they died. He wiped his sword clean of werewolf blood, and sheathed it. He watched as Leon disposed of his wolves, impressed by his work. "That's all of them, but I don't think they would travel in that small a pack. Keep an eye out for any more who might appear." "Where are we going?" asked Leon, sheathing his weapon. "We are going to my hideout. Actually, I prefer to call it my HQ. It sounds more official." ----------------------- Soon, they were back at the hideout. It was a large, disused warehouse on the harbour. Storm slid the massive door open with ease, and they all went in. There were weapons all over the walls, and pictures of various vampires and werewolves Storm had killed over the years. "So when are we going to find out who we are?" asked Keisha. "Soon enough. When the last Slayer joins us, you will find out. I've notified her, so she should meet us soon. In the meantime, make yourselves at home, and we will get out again soon." Leon and Keisha walked off, trying to find somewhere to sleep, for it was late. Storm sat down at a desk and began to draw a picture of that strange vampire he had seen tonight. "He's back, isn't he?" said a voice from the shadows. "Yes. I thought he was gone for good, locked away in the lower levels of Hell, but apparently he is coming back." "This can't be easy for you, Storm. After spending all that time being tortured by him, it can't be easy to face Azrael again." "It isn't. But I do know that I want to kill him. I hate him, Grey." "As do all of us," said the voice. A man drifted out of the shadows, dressed in red and black. His hair was silver and it rippled in the moonlight. He wore small round shades, and had a scruffy beard. "What can I do?" "I don't know, Storm, I honestly don't know." At that moment, Keisha came round the corner, and gasped as she saw the figure standing over Storm. She drew her blades and ran towards him, but passed straight through him, hitting the wall. "Who are you? What are you doing here?" she asked. "Keisha, don't worry," said Storm, helping her up, "This is just Grey. He used to be a Slayer, until he was killed. Now he has been brought back to help me by the Fallen Angels. He's non-corporeal, so he can't hurt anything, but he can give us advice. He was a Slayer for 18 years, so he knows his stuff. Just trust him." "Hello, Keisha," said Grey. "Hi," she replied shakily, "Sorry about the charge and stuff, I was just a little suprised." "Most people are. Don't worry about it." ----------------------- Arcanus Lazarus was coming down to see Azrael. He was an impressive figure, at least 8 feet tall, wearing black armour and a flame-red helmet, and carrying a sword that was twice his height, wreathed in flame as he was. "Hello brother," said Azrael from his prison. "Greetings, Azrael," replied Lazarus in a deep, booming voice which echoed around almost the entire dimension, "I hope you are faring well." "Oh, as well as I could be, seeing as I have been betrayed by my brothers!" "You cannot blame us for what we did, Azrael. Matters of the human dimension are not ours to deal with. You wished to interfere in human matters. This is strictly forbidden by our code." "Screw the code!" shouted Azrael, "Imagine what we could do with more than our own dimension under our control. We could control the entire cosmos!" "But we have problems even controlling our own dimension. Imagine what problems we would have controlling other dimensions!" "Oh, but we will, brother," said Azrael. Demons were gathering behind Lazarus. He turned around, and saw them. "I see what you attempt, Azrael, but these demons cannot strike me down." "But I wasn't expecting them to. Attack!" he shouted. The demons rushed Lazarus, and he wiped them all out with a single swipe of his mighty sword. "Azrael!" he shouted, "What is the meaning of this!" The dead demons glowed bright red, and turned into hellish energies, which rushed to Azrael's hand. It coruscated around his body, and he fired a single massive energy blast at his brother. It pierced through his armour, and his flesh. He fell to the floor, and with an explosion which shook the dimension violently, he disappeared. With a screech, Azrael's other sibling, the Dragon, swooped down at him, his flaming body turning blood-red with rage. Azrael aimed, and took another shot, this time killing the Dragon. The flames which made up it's body extinguished themselves, and the body fell to the floor, crumbling to ash as it hit. Azrael had taken back the throne of Arcanus in a single move. He blasted away the invisible walls of his cell, and flew back to the higher levels, taking his throne. "Now let's get through that wall," he said. ------------------------ Storm awoke with a jolt. Azrael had taken control of Arcanus. There was no stopping him now.

Lee fired both ways, into the wolf ranks and into the vampire ranks. They were both advancing fast on either side, and were coming up to surround him. He fired madly, felling both werewolves and vampires. Blood stained the ground, but the two sides kept getting closer and closer. "Here we go," said Lee as his handguns ran out of ammo, and he drew his sword. The two forces clashed, and he just managed to jump over them, landing on top of the battle. He slashed downwards, cleaving a vampire's head in two, and stabbing a wolf through the eye. "Could someone give me a hand here?" he shouted. Carl fired a few bursts into the back of the vampire force, but then had to concentrate on the vampires attacking him. Lee ran over the tops of some vampire's heads, slashing all the time, killing them on his way. He rejoined Carl and Farel, as well as Andy, who seemed to be ailing. M was dishing out punishment with his chain gun, and Ivy was shooting madly with her shotgun. Lee reloaded his handguns as he ran, and sheathed his sword. He fired, providing Andy with covering fire while she recovered. Vampires swooped down on them, and Lee fired into them. Blood splattered across the ground, and the bodies of vampires thudded onto the concrete as well. A vampire swooped, and clawed Lee across the chest. Blood spilled out at an amazing rate, and Lee fell to the floor, unconscious. As he blacked out, he could hear M shouting: "Lee! No!"

As they left the bar, they were sent flying to the floor by a sudden attack. There was a gang of werewolves surrounding them, snarling, with bloody saliva dripping from their jaws, and splashing in the puddles on the ground. "Looks like we got us a fight," said Storm, getting to his feet. The others got to their feet as well, and they all drew their weapons. The wolves leapt at them, and they began to fight. Meanwhile, on a rooftop, Alexander looked down on them all, and laughed, knowing how soon their demise would come. (OOC: Short post just to get us all into a battle situation)
-
"There's nothing we can do about him now, Keisha," said Storm, "Now come on, we can go to this bar that's quite close. Maybe someone there will know something about that vampire." "Why would they?" "You'll see," said Storm. ----------------------------- They arrived at the bar. It was closing time, so everyone had cleared out. The bar stools were up on the bar. "Whoever you are, go away," said a voice from the back rooms, "We're closed for this evening." "Oh, come on now, Flynt, you can't even keep the bar open so a couple of old friends can have a drink together?" asked Storm. "Storm?" said the voice. A small figure came out of the back room, looking suspiciously at them. He came up to Storm's chest, and was rather hunched, so he seemed even smaller than he was. His ears were quite large, and his eyes didn't seem to fit on his head properly. His teeth were crooked, and he wore a stained white shirt and a pair of blue jeans, which were covered in strange patches of what looked like oil. "Storm!" he cried, wiping his hands on his trousers, "It is you!" "Hi, Flynt," said Storm. A few minutes later they were sitting down having a beer. Storm and Flynt were talking, so Keisha flet a little left out. "So who's the girl?" asked Flynt. "I'm Keisha," replied Keisha. "What's her thing?" Flynt asked Storm. "She's a Slayer as well. She's got ice powers. Good strong ones, too, by the looks of it." "Very pleased to meet you, Keisha. I'm Flynt, an old friend of Storm's. We go way back." "Flynt's something of an expert on the paranormal. He has read almost every book there is on weird stuff like that." "Yeah, but I never heard of no Messenger of Azrael. It's all new to me." "Well, could you at least tell me who Azrael is?" "Oh, Azrael is a hell god. He used to rule the demon dimension, which is called Arcanus, until his two brothers, Lazarus and the Dragon, busted him down to the lower levels of hell. He has to stay there for the rest of time. But he has been gaining more and more power over the last few centuries. He has been weakening the wall between Arcanus and this dimension by creating vampires to pass through the walls. If enough go through, the wall will be easy to destroy. There are rumours that he is almost ready to break through, using his faithful lieutenant Alexander. That might have been who you met." "Wow," said Keisha, struggling to take it all in. --------------------------------- Arcanus Alexander moved towards the shadows, and a felt a dark presence fall upon him. That of his master Azrael. His blood-red eyes shone through the darkness, piercing through to Alexander's soul, if he had one. Instead, he felt honoured to be in the presence of his one true master. "Alexander," said a voice from the shadows, "Report." "Well, my lord," said Alexander, "Two of the Slayers have found each other. The Slayers of Lightning and Ice. They are gathering." "Excellent. The Slayer of Lightning, you say? Storm is gathering his forces. Interesting. What of the other?" "The Slayers almost found him, but he fled before they could find him. He is powerful, though, but his rage blinds him. He will be turned." "Good work, Alexander. Our Dark Angels are gathering on the other side, and your vampires are gathering on this. I shall break free soon. But, to other matters. It is almost time for my uprising. How are my demon forces faring?" "Very well, sire. There are a lot more of them working for us than there are working for your brothers. We have a lot more experienced fighters on our side. The uprising should be easy. What do you plan to do with your brothers, sire?" "That is not for you to know yet, Alexander. Now go, back into the human realm, and make sure that Storm finds the other Slayers." "Very well, my lord," and with that, Alexander left the demon dimension, before his presence was felt by Lazarus.

"So do you know where we come from?" asked Storm, walking down the road with Keisha. "Not really. Care to enlighten me?" "Not just yet, Keisha. We need to find the other Slayers first. There are two more to find, the Fire and Earth Slayers. Then I will explain everything." "Can't you just give me a hint?" "No way," said Storm, enjoying winding her up almost as much as she enjoyed winding him up. They continued walking, when they heard a commotion in an alley. They went down the alley and came face to face with a male vampire, who had a strange symbol painted or tatooed on his forehead. He hissed, and stood up, towering over the body of the woman he had just killed. Her blood ran down the road, creating a puddle in the gutter. "You shouldn't kill people like that," said Storm, "It's not very friendly!" He rushed the vampire with his sword, but the vampire dodged, sending Storm into a sudden skid. He swung his sword again, but the vampire dodged each and every swing. "You do not beat the Messenger of the Azrael that easily, Slayer. He will come for you eventually," said the vampire. "What?" said Storm, puzzled "Why are you talking about Azrael? He can't come into this dimension." "Not yet," said the vampire, leaping onto the top of a building and running away. "Dammit!" shouted Storm, kicking the dumpster. There was a stirring around the dumpster, and the woman who had been killed by the vampire got to her feet, being a vampire herself now. "This one is strange. Usually it takes a few hours for a victim to turn, but she has turned in a matter of minutes. Odd." Storm whipped out a sword, and decapitated the woman in a single strike. She dusted.

Lee ran into the wolf ranks, with M shouting after him to stop. But he had a plan. He jumped into the middle, and erected a small personal field around himself. The wolves bounced off it as they tried to get him. He opened the field slightly, and one of the wolves came into the field. He closed it behind the wolf, and shot it in both legs with his handguns. It fell to the floor, screeching in pain. He wrapped it up in telekinetic bonds, and dropped his shield, running back to the group as fast as he could. He got there, and knocked the wolf out with a single blow to the back of the head. "You wanted one of these bastards to question?" he kicked the wolf, "You got one." "Nice work, Lee, but don't go off like that again, you hear me?" said M. "I hear you." (OOC: We got us a Lycan. Sorry the post is so short, I just didn't know what you wanted to do with the wolf)

Ok, this is for any important storyline developments that may take place. I will use this to tell you all about what is going to happen next in the story. Also, you can post any questions you have about the story here.

Ok here it is. The players are: Storm/Azrael: Blayze Leon: Venge Keisha: ... Zera: Bloody_Moon (please finish your sign-up before posting) Alexander: kairiKIce2 Tara: Nefertimon Angleus: Heero Darkangel I'm gonna ask now that ..., please don't post as quickly as you did with Demons and Angels, because it kinda sets people back with the storyline, as they can't keep up. Thank you. IC: The rain hit the ground in giant droplets. The dark street was quiet, save for the wind whistling between the buildings. No-one was out. Everyone was at home with their families. Save for one person. He had no family, and only had one friend. His weapon. He protected the streets, and stopped the walls from breaking down. He paced slowly down the street, his black cloak soaked from the rain. His hair was matted against his face, and he kept his hand on his weapon all the time. There was another figure some way down the road, not easily visible through the driving rain. There was a crash, and a flash of light from one of the side alleys, and the man drew his swords, swinging them round his body. Two vampires came running around the corner, and down the street. The man chased after them, his speed almost matching their immense speed. The other figure down the street also drew some kind of weapon, and ran after the vampires as well. The vampires saw they were being chased, and turned to fight their pursuers away. They believed that these were two ordinary people who could be disposed of easily. They were wrong. The man swung his sword at one of the vampires, and caught him in the arm. The arm fell to the floor, turning to dust as it hit. The vampire looked at the man in disbelief, then tried a spinning kick. The man caught his foot, and broke the leg. Then he rammed his sword through the vampire's heart. The vampire turned to dust. He turned to the other figure, who pulled the sword from the other vampire's chest. That one turned to dust as well. The man sheathed his weapon, in a symbol of peace. The other man did the same. "Hi," said the man, "I'm Storm." the other figure turned as well and said: "Hi, Im..." (Any Slayer is welcome to post next, as they meet Storm-but that's not to say that people who aren't Slayers aren't allowed to post)

(OOC: Just thought I'd let you know, Kiba, that LEE IS A GUY!!! Sorry about that) Lee was woken up by M slapping him round the face. "Whoah!" he said, waking up suddenly, "What did you do that for?" "Oh, I'm sorry, Lee, I was gonna let you stay unconscious for when the werewolves attacked!" "Ok, I see your point," he replied, getting to his feet and drawing his handguns. He fired a few rounds at an advancing werewolf, and it fell to the ground, burning to ash. "Lee, I need some help getting the others up!" shouted M. Lee erected a telekinetic field around them, protecting them from harm, while he ran over and woke the others up. They all got to their feet, and drew their weapons. "Ok, there is a telekinetic field up around us. They can't get in, but we can't get out, and most importantly, neither can our bullets. I'm going to drop the field in a few seconds, so get ready to hold those bastards back. Ready?" They nodded. "One, two, three," he dropped the field, and they all started shooting at the wolves. There were literally hundreds of them. Lee fired three rounds into the first one's chest. He dropped, turning to ash. Another one took it's place, and he disposed of that one with a single shot to the head. A third came, and he fired into it's chest. It didn't drop, and kept running at him. He shot it again, and it still didn't drop. He brought up his other handgun, and he unloaded both weapons into it's chest. It slowed down, became more sluggish, but still came at him. It was right in his face, and he didn't have time to reload his weapons, so he drew his sword and sliced it's head off. Blood fountained out of it's severed neck, and it's body fell to the floor. "Persisitent little asshole weren't you," he said to the corpse. He moved on, throwing wolves around with his telekinesis, and slicing them apart with his sword.

The two Gwyar from the diner went into the alley around the side. They began to talk, when Zuriel dropped down from the wall. The two Gwyar vampires drew their weapons, but Zuriel calmed them. "I do not wish to fight you, friends," they lowered their weapons, and Zuriel continued, "I wish to make the leaders of your clan an offer." "Who are you? What kind of offer?" asked one of the vampires. "I am Zuriel, leader of the Myrkur Aniol, and I wish to form an alliance with the Gwyar clan. Will you take me to the leaders of your clan?" "Very well," said one of them, "You will be driven there, but you will be blindfolded. Understand?" "Perfectly. Trust is a hard thing to come by nowadays. This is exactly how I would take anyone to my clan." They blindfolded him and pushed him into the back of a car. Zuriel could smell the leather. It was a high-quality car, probably a limo. He could also smell the fear emanating from the Gwyar vampires. After an hour, Zuriel was pushed out of the car, and led into a building. They went through some doors, and up an elevator, and then his blindfold was taken off. Sitting in front of him were three elderly vampires at a highly polished wooden desk. "Zuriel," said one of them, "It is an honour to finally meet you. I hear you wish to make us an offer. Is this true?" "Well, sir, we know that your clan hates Kuroichi as much as mine does. We also know that you are the most wise and ancient vampires who walk this earth. We wish to join forces with you, in order to present a force which can be a threat to Kuroichi. Alone, our clans are not enough to defeat him, but together, we will destroy him." "You are wise to try this, Zuriel. You will lead the Myrkur Aniol well. We will join with your clan, but only to fight the Silver-Haired Demon. After he is gone, our clans will go their separate ways, and we will never interfere in each other's business again. Is this agreed?" "Very much so, sir. We are glad to have made this arrangement." "You must sign a contact before you leave, Zuriel. This binds you to our agreement, and if you break it, then you must be punished with extreme force." The leader of the Gwyar took out a piece of parchment, and signed it himself, then offered it to Zuriel, who also signed it. Then they sealed it with their own blood. Zuriel was taken out of the building and dumped back in the alley, where the two Gwyar remained.

Lee slid the silver nitrate-coated bullets into the chamber, and slammed the clip in. He cocked the gun, so it was ready to use straight away, and did the same with the other gun. He slid his sword into the sheath on his back, and made sure it was easily accessible, which it was. "Oh yeah!" he said, "Finally we get to see some action. I've been waiting to see you guys work since I got here!" "Well, now's your chance, Lee," said M, loading his weapons up, "These vampires are going to be dangerous, and we haven't had a chance to train properly yet. But you've all been doing this sort of thing since New Berlin, so I'm sure you can handle it." "I sure as hell can handle it," said Lee, picking up a combat knife from the weapons closet and sliding it into his boot. "I hope we all can..." (OOC: Sorry it's kinda short but I've got to go quite soon so I don't really have enough time to make a proper post)

Zuriel stood, gasping for air, over the body of Abaddon. He had been a true hero of the vampires. His intentions were worthy, even if his method was not. "Let the war within our clan be finished," he said to the rest of the Myrkur Aniol, both his legions and the Seraphic legions, "Let us unite and use our strength to destroy Kuroichi and his allies! We shall no longer feed upon human blood, but only upon the blood of our enemies!" His clan cheered, and he turned to the three Generals of the Seraphic legions. "What do you say to my worthiness now?" he asked. "We say that, as the last wish of Abaddon the Mighty, you shall lead this clan. We see now that you are a powerful warrior, and a fair and just leader who loves his men as if they were his own flesh and blood. We grant you, Zuriel, leadership of the Myrkur Aniol." They bowed their heads to him, and he bowed his back. "Now let us clear the field of our dead. Then we must mourn the passing of Abaddon. He was a great warrior, and a true and honest opponent." The clearing of the field took a couple of hours, relatively quick for the amount of blood spilled on it. The Myrkur Aniol clan gathered in the throne room, with Zuriel sitting on the throne, with his left and right hands in theirs. "We salute Abaddon!" shouted Zuriel. Every vampire in the room saluted, and Abaddon's body was placed upon a funeral pyre, burning his body and cleansing his soul. ----------------------------- "Now we must forge an alliance with the Gwyar," said Zuriel at the meeting of the Myrkur Aniol leaders afterwards, "They hate Kuroichi almost as much as we do, and they will be powerful allies." "Yes," said Gabriel, "Word has spread that Kuroichi is attempting to form alliances with the Zugai and the Labareda. He will be unstoppable if he does so." "Then we must stop him. Kuroichi must not be allowed to meet with any Zugai or Labareda, or have any sort of contact with them. We must block all of his communications with them." "But how?" asked Uriel. "Simple," said Zuriel, "We need to cut the hardline of his hotel. It is the only way we can ensure that he does not make any sort of communication. Also, we must place a vampire on him to track him, in case he makes any movements." "We will get our men on it right away, Zuriel," said Gabriel. "Excellent. Here ends this meeting."

Aftermath: Sam was back at the temple. Lyon and Zack were gone. They were the only ones left. They thought back to Zack, Lyon and Isabelle. They had all died heroically. They were all heroes. She walked towards the temple, and turned just as they walked through the door. She knelt down and touched the ground. Vines with huge flowers blooming sprouted from the ground, and wrapped themselves around the temple, turning it into a beautiful builidng. She said to herself: These flowers are for those who have fallen against Kelthor. Then she went inside. Lyon looked down upon her, and watched as Jun flew away. It is not over yet...
-
(OOC: Nice one!) Zack watched as Kelthor fell, and his work collapsed around him. The demons vanished, engulfed by a wave of pure white light as Kelthor's body burst with all it's power. They were all gone. Lyon was gone, probably dead. Jun and Sam were somewhere around. All the demons were gone, and so was Kelthor. All that was left was for Zack and his demon to fight. They faced each other, and swung. Their weapons clashed, sparks flying from them as they hit each other. Energy flew back and forth between the two warriors, their weapons clanging together as they struck each other. They were too evenly matched. Neither one could land a blow on the other. "What is the point in this?" asked Zack, "We both know that we are both going to die in the end eventually! Why battle each other so fiercely?" "We have been destined to figth for centuries, and this is the way it must be. We are the two who must fight, and we both must die, for the future to continue." "What do you mean?" "Those engravings you saw on the walls in the demon dimension were a sign. They showed that which is and that which will become. We together hold the balance of this dimension. We must uphold the prophecy, or the timestream will unravel." "And what does the prophecy say will happen to us?" "I do not know the full extent of it, but I know that we fight, and we will both die, but there is something more that will happen after that. Something strange that the prophecy doesn't really go into very much." "If that is what this prophecy says, then it shall be done." Zack took up his sword, and plunged the blade into his own chest. Blood poured out of the wound, and the demon doubled over as well, clutching his chest and gasping. They both dropped to their knees, and the angel appeared as well. Blood from all three of them poured onto the floor, and at the point where the trails of blood met, a bright light appeared which engulfed them all. From this light, beams of white energy lanced outwards, smashing into the walls, breaking them. The entire dimension was collapsing in on itself. A portal opened up, and sped away to where Jun and Sam where hiding, and took them back to their own dimension, just outside the temple. The dimension closed, and imploded. Everything was right once more... (OOC: ... and Darkangel, you can still post a sort of "aftermath" thing, even going before Zack's death, just to show what happened to your characters. I will make one last post before this RPG ends, and then you will have to wait until the next one.)
-
Ok, as I've got a few more sign-ups, I am going to start this as soon as Heero Darkangel signs up. Sign-ups will still be open for a while, but the RPG will start as soon as he posts. I will let everyone know that it has started by PM, or on this thread.

Lee tried to sleep, but kept thinking back to the images of that HellKnight. It scared him. He had heard of them before, but had never seen one, even in all his years of hunting demons and other creatures. He floated his watch over to him from his bedside table, and looked at it. 4am. He got up, and left his room, moving into the living area. He went through, and sat on the sofa. "Can't sleep?" asked a voice from the shadows. It made Lee jump, but he immediately recognised the voice. "I see that's a problem you have as well, Farel," replied Lee. He went over to where he left his bag, and picked it up. Then he carried it back over to the sofa and sat down, opening the bag. "Couldn't you have done that with your t.k?" "Well, it doesn't hurt to exercise the muscles every once in a while. Stops me getting fat." "Good point," replied Farel, "So how long have you had your powers?" "Since I was born," replied Lee, "I spent a lot of my early life in a coma while the doctors found a different psychic dampener for me." "Psychic whatener?" "Dampener. It supresses my psionic power so I can only use a small amount of my power. If I had my dampener removed then I would be a lot more powerful, but a lot less controllable. I would kinda go insane." "Tough break," said Farel. "I guess. I like to make a joke out of it. It stops me from going completely nuts with all the weirdness." "What made you go into this business?" "It's not really a business, more a full-time hobby. I got into it straight after that New Year's party. I was there, and I got away, but the rest of my family wasn't so lucky. They were killed, and there didn't seem like there was much else I could do for them apart from kill as many of those things as possible." "Fair enough," Sandivar replied. Lee got his guns out of his bag, and made sure they were loaded. They were, the clips full of bullets tipped with silver nitrate, lethal to creatures of the night. He also checked his sword. It was clean and shining, and sharp as possible. He was ready for when they started.

Zack sliced his way through the oncoming horde of demons, killing the first lines of them with ease. He was cutting a swathe through them, but then got bogged down in the fighting. Lyon was at his side, killing demons as well. But their hearts were filled with dread. What if Jun was dead? What if Sam was simply going to her death as well by trying to find him? How would this fight turn out? Kelthor began to merge himself, but Zack saw this and threw one of his swords at the dark wizard. It struck him in the chest, but rebounded off his armour. It had slowed him down, though. "Zack!" he shouted, "It's really you? I didn't think you would survive that separation from your demon. But here you are." "Quiet Kelthor!" replied Zack, his face splattered with demon blood. He turned to Lyon and said: "Do you think you can hold the line here, Lyon? Use your power to it's full extent. That is the only way you will be able to survive." "I can hold the line, but I could use some help later on." "Don't worry, it'll all be over by then," said Zack, as he leapt off the cliff and landed on the platform Kelthor was working on. He slashed at Kelthor but missed, and then Kelthor threw him to the ground with his dark magic. Zack dropped to the floor, groaning, his face bloodied and bruised. "You will never be able to defeat me, Zack. You will die here tonight, whether your demon likes it or not!" shouted Kelthor, zapping Zack with dark lightning. Smoke rose from him. He turned back to his demon and angel, and began once more to merge with them. Lyon was about to go down up on the cliff. Jun and Sam were nowhere to be seen. Zack was on the brink of unconsciousness. It looked like things were not going to go as well as they had hoped. "Not looking so good for you, is it Zack?" said a voice in his ear. He opened his eyes and saw his demon standing over him, in a similarly bloodied condition to himself, but seemingly stronger and more resilient than himself. "Shut up," Zack said weakly. He was about to close down, and let the pain go away, when a bright light floated through the air, out of nowhere, and tiny droplets of light sprinkled from it's bottom all over Zack. They seemed to re-energise him, give him new strength, and fill him with new hope. He got to his feet, and saw the light. He squinted, and saw that it was his angel. The angel winked at him, then disappeared. His demon stood in front of him, fully healed from the angel's power as well. He laughed in Zack's face. Zack grabbed his arm, and concentrated hard on his demon. He merged with it once more, then called for his angel to come back. Then, he felt a strange jerking sensation in his stomach, and his demon came out again. "How did you get out?" he asked. "I'm too powerful to be held by the likes of you. My presence in this world has strengthened me, given me enough power to keep myself separate from you. You will never merge with me, Zack." "Then I guess there's only one way to get rid of you, then." "If you do that, you'll die too, Zack." "That's something I'm prepared to do. I will die willingly to save my friends, something I wouldn't expect you to understand." "Very well. If that is what you wish. But we will fight before we die, as we have been destined to do for centuries." The demon raised his jagged-edged longsword, and Zack took his swords, and they clashed. (OOC: This RPG is almost at an end, as you will all know. I believe that I cannot prolong the storyline, otherwise it will get far too repetetive. After I have completed my DemonSlayer RPG, I will get around to making a second Demons and Angels RPG, which I hope you will all participate in, using your character from this one in mentoring positions. Anyway, any of you is welcome to get rid of Kelthor, but just don't get involved with my battle-I have big plans for the end of this RPG)

"Very well," said Lazarus, rage building inside him, "If I will not use your abilities, then I shall use mine!!!" He stretched his arms out, and his body glowed with dark energy. Bolts of it shot from his body and into the air. As they came back down, they made contact with the cage of light surrounding Lazarus, and shattered it. He held out his hand, and black lightning twisted from his hand, wrapping around Ziarre. "Now you shall feel true power!" he roared, sweat dripping from his forehead. He clenched his fist, and began to crush Ziarre alive. She squirmed and gasped for air, before flexing her muscles and breaking free of his hold. She turned to him and flung him backwards. He hit a tree and smashed it into a pulp. He was knocked unconscious by a combination of this attack and the immense effort he had to put into his previous attack. Ziarre and Kayin stood over him, and Kayin encased him in chains of light, unbreakable ones. They started to carry him back to the Sanctuary.

Lee flicked open the fridge door with his power, and got himself a beer out of it. He popped the top off, and sat down on the couch, flinging his backpack full of belongings onto the floor. It hit the ground with a metallic clang. Andy looked at it, puzzled. Lee opened it, and tooke out his sword and twin handguns. "How did you get them past the metal detectors?" asked Farel. "I jammed the circuitry in the detector telekinetically. See, Sandivar, you're not the only one who can outsmart these suits." He took a swig of his beer, and settled back. "No thanks, Lee, none of the rest of us want a drink," Ivy said sarcastically. "You guys want a drink? Happy to help," replied Lee. He swung open the fridge door from where he was sitting, and got four more beers out. "I don't like beer," said Andy. "Fair enough," said Lee. He put one beer back, closed the fridge door, the three beers floated to the three other team members. "What can I get for you, little lady?" he asked Andy. "I'll just have some water," she said timidly. Lee got a bottle of water from the fridge and floated it over to Andy.

Well, the sign-ups so far are good, if only there were more of them. Hmm, what to do. Anyway, kairiKIce, if you could finish your sign-up soon then that would be quite good. Also, hopefully Bloody_Moon might sign up soon. Ok, the way I see it we have two options. Either you all spread the word to people who might enjoy this RPG, or else I will allow you all to sign up as another character as well, of a different race to the one you have already signed up as. Try and get back to me as soon as possible.

They were woken the following morning by the Herald. He was standing in the middle of them, and he said: "It is time. You must be moved to Kelthor's hiding place now. It is time for you to destroy him." They all got up, and silently picked up their weapons. Zack turned to the Herald and said: "Can I just have a few minutes before we leave?" "Very well. But it can only be a few minutes, no more," replied the Herald. Zack turned to the rest of the group. He smiled, and then said to them: "We've been through a lot together. But I still feel I should know you better than I do. We've been through dimensions, and fought countless thousands of demons, and I feel that if I could get to know you all a lot better once this is over, I would feel much better. But we must part ways once this is over. Lyon, you must return to the monastery and protect the monks. Jun, I don't know where you need to go, but you must go there. Sam, you will have a family one day, and you must take care of them. But if we don't get out of this alive, I just want to say to you all that it has been a pleasure fighting alongside you, and I can't think of better people to die alongside. Now let's go beat Kelthor!" The three others cheered, and the Herald nodded. He waved his hand, and a shimmering blue portal opened up in the air. "I must warn you before you go through," he said, "Kelthor's new hiding place is even fouler than this dimension. There will be demons everywhere, and Kelthor's power will have increased greatly. He will be even harder to stop than before, and he will send each of your demons at you, unless you already have them as a part of you. It is a place of great danger, but I believe you can handle it. Good luck." They jumped through the portal, and emerged in a dimension of complete darkness, which seemed to suck the light out of everything. There was an atmosphere which absorbed all the good emotions from people, replacing them with terrible nightmares. They stood on top of a cliff, and looked down to a source of strange purple flashes. There was Kelthor, and his demon, with his angel strapped to a table. They watched as he attempted to merge with his two halves, but failed as he was flung away by a flash of white light from his angel. He landed heavily on the ground. They turned and looked behind them, and saw thousands of demons charging towards them, surrounding them on all sides, trapping them on the cliff. "I guess the only way is to fight our way to Kelthor," siad Zack, drawing his swords and wreathing them in electricity. He charged, and went into battle.

Zuriel slid underneath Abaddon as he charged, and sliced upwards, just catching Abaddon in the back, making a slight gash. Abaddon stumbled forwards. "Why do you wish to kill me Abaddon?" asked Zuriel, "We are part of the same clan. We have the same enemies. Why do you wish to destroy our chances of winning the war against Kuroichi?" "Because you are impure. You are not of the true Myrkur Aniol. The Seraphic legions are the true clan. You are merely a cover for us, a puppet leader. You have no real power in this world," replied Abaddon, clutching his back. "But why does the leader need to have pure blood? Maybe a leader with impure blood could lead just as well. You and your Seraphic legions are old, weak. This clan needs a strong leader, a young leader. I can lead this clan and I will!" The two warriors charged at each other, and clashed, their weapons slamming together, sparks flying. Abaddon pushed, and his strength outweighed Zuriel's by a great deal. "I don't care for this war any more, Zuriel. I only wish to lay my demons to rest so I can help the humans." "Help the humans?" Zuriel groaned under Abaddon's superior strength, "And you call me impure!" "The humans are the only innocents in this. They do not deserve the punishment you have been delivering to them. They deserve life!" Zuriel pushed back, and Abaddon flew backwards. "They are innocents? They are..." he said, suddenly realising the folly of what he had been doing. "You could kill me here, and I wouldn't care. As long as you stop your killing of innocents, and embrace my way of life, then I care not what happens to me." "I will stop killing humans. I will allow them to live. They are innocents. I will not become the kind of monster Kuroichi is. They must be allowed to live!" "Excellent work, Zuriel," said Abaddon. He picked his sword up, and ran at Zuriel, about to plunge it into his back. Zuriel swerved out of the way, and the sword only went into his side, causing pain but not hitting any vital organs or arteries. The two warriors were left, bloodied and bruised, but still living. No-one knew who would win. "Kill me, Zuriel," whispered Abaddon, "It's the only way to be respected by your clan. Kill me, and lead the Myrkur Aniol to victory. Not for my sake, but for yours. Do it now!" Zuriel pulled his sword into the air, then rammed it into Abaddon's chest. It crunched as it went through bone and cartilage, and then pierced the heart. Abaddon stood, and said to the other three generals: "Let him lead." Before falling to the floor, dead. A cheer went up through the crowd of soldiers, and the three remaining generals of the Seraphic legions moved to the body of Abaddon. (OOC: This post is made entirely on the assumption that you wanted to let me kill Abaddon, Danethol. If you didn't, or are unhappy with the outcome in any way, just PM me to let me know)

Lee wandered into the building, and three security guards immediately rushed over to him, and checked him for metal objects. He had none on him, so he passed through. "Name please," said the receptionist nasally. "Lee Sheridan," he replied, "I'm here for the Project: Heaven meeting. Can you tell me whereabouts it is?" "Third floor, boardroom," she said impatiently, "But I need to see your ID first." He held out his identity card, with his DNA coding on it. She ran it through a computer check, and it turned out he was himself, so he went into the elevator. He went up to the third floor, then headed to the meeting room. He turned the doorknob without touching it. There were two people in the room already, and they were sitting talking. "Hi," he said as he came into the room, "I'm Lee." "Andy," said one calmly. "Ivy," said the other impatiently. "Cool," he said, sitting down, "So what do you two do?" "What do you mean?" asked Ivy. "I mean what kind of powers do you have?" "I make stuff explode," said Ivy. "I'm a pyrokinetic," said Andy. "Oh, with the fire?" Lee nodded. "What about you?" said Andy politely. "Oh, I'm a teleknetic," he said, sliding a drink across the table towards himself as a demonstration, "So when are the others getting here?" (OOC: Hope that's okay for you)
