I just don't understand how anyone 15, or under, can make a decision about his or her true sexual nature when they're probably not even sexually mature yet. Sex doesn't have to have anything to do with love, So I guess if it's only sex you want from a guy or a girl....you could put a label on yourself if you like. But what has it to do with love? How can you love yourself and put a label on yourself like that and then just throw yourself at anyone that might be interested in sex only? What about seeking one true love before you sexually label yourself to the whole world...or before you throw yourself at anyone capable of having sex? I just can't help but think that anyone labeling themselves sexually, are anything but confused about what love is in the first place. If you truly love...you won't need a label. You will be known for love, not your sexual preferences.

First of all; I don't have a competitive bone in my body and am also very easily distracted, so I try to avoid board games like the plague. It is slightly entertaining for me to watch others play them though. The only one that I've played and actually liked is checkers, but I haven't played that in a long time. We have a Monopoly game somewhere, although it probably has more than a few pieces missing. It was always fun to take the cute little game pieces and play with them and lose them, or stuff the Monopoly money in my purse until it was overflowing. I think I sent the "Get out of jail free" card to my dad when he was in prison. I noticed that my mom and little brother played alot of chess during the time that the hurricanes knocked our power out for days on end this year. I suppose we would probably play more board games if we couldn't play video games or if we didn't have a computer. I have cousin's in Michigan that are avid board game players, so I'm thinking that inclement weather may also have something to do with the popularity of such games. My boyfriend mentioned a game called 'The Study Game'. He thought he could help me study that way. I think the rules went like this: If I answered a question correctly, he would have to take off an article of clothing and if I answered it wrong, I would have to take something off...or was it the other way around?...I forget...LOL! I could see him manipulating that game all the way...or would it really be him? It was intriguing to think about mixing the sensual with the intellectual to keep someones attention. It did give me an idea for a board game though. Kind of like a "Carnal Monopoly" for two players only. I don't know if there are any board games out there like this...but it would be fun to create your own! I wouldn't play it with anyone but my boyfriend, and I wouldn't give away my own plans for the game in a million years. ;)

When I was very small, Christmas was all good and wonderful. It has since turned into another dreaded time that I'm required to spend with certain relatives that seemingly have no love for me or my family. It's something I haven't looked forward to in a long time. But this Christmas, I get the best present ever! The love of my life is coming to stay with me for 16 days! What could be better than that? Let's see... the worst Christmas present ever? It would have to be the awful case of food poisoning that I got from Grandma's lasagne on Christmas Eve. :p
Afire was on the right track with his/her description of spiritual balance, however, I believe he/she didn't go far enough into detail as the host of this thread would like. In order to fully define universal balance, one must first consider half of everything is true and the other half of everything is false..
I guess I'm not much of a debater, lol. I usually do the debating within myself and come to my own conclusions. I am my worst enemy that way. After that, I'm pretty solid in my thoughts about what I believe to be true or false. Maybe that's bad, but it makes me happy. *smiles* Long debating and arguments with others tend to give me a headache. *takes aspirin*
The principal of yin and yang allow us to further understand this. God is evenly balanced at 360 degrees, he makes his own decisions and is the epitome of perfect. Angels and demons (including Satan) only posses 180 which means they can only perform on one side of the scale, either good or bad, there is no in between for them. Man was created to be perfect and posses the perfect physical form of God hence man was created to posses a balance of 360 degrees also. This gives us our free will, our ability to make our own decisions be they good or bad.
I don't know much about the principles of yin and yang. What you said about it pretty much applies to every religion that gives satan power. I believe that satan has no power on the balance scale. So that principle doesn't fly for me. Somehow it reminds me of a comic book hero god. It only works for those who deny the perfect balance of a perfect God who is omnipotent in power alone. I think it is man alone that tries to tip God's scales with man's ultimate will to die. Until that will changes... man will always blame satan for his own un-balance.
Jesus was sent to save mankind which would restore the balance of the universe for God so loved ALL He created. Now we are balanced once again until the second coming.
I believe that the second coming of Christ has already happened. The truth of what He finished is in the world. It is in me and others. It is in everyone, whether they choose to receive it or not is up to them. There is only perfect balance in truth. Truth not only balances the flesh and the spirit; it actually binds them together in love.

It would seem to me, that the the only thing an eternal soul would need for balance, would be an eternal flesh body. Death does not balance life. Man cannot balance his own judgments. He was never created to be a judge. Man creates unbalance in everything, because...man uses death as his balance. Man is not the creator of balance, no matter how hard he tries to believe he is. He only has the ability to see balance and appreciated it. God created it. Christ hung as a balance for everyone to restore balance in the spirit and flesh. Eternal life is the only balance man lacks. If mankind would enter into what Christ finished, the balance of spirit and flesh would be complete and everything else would fall into place as it should be in this world. On earth as it is in Heaven. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Job 31:6 Let me be weighed in an even balance, that God may know mine integrity. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Psa 62:9 Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Pro 11:1 A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Pro 16:11 A just weight and balance are the LORD'S: all the weights of the bag are his work. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Pro 20:23 Divers weights are an abomination unto the LORD; and a false balance is not good. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Isa 40:12 Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Isa 40:15 Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Isa 46:6 They lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance, and hire a goldsmith; and he maketh it a god: they fall down, yea, they worship.
I bet you do, but how on earth could you live thinking you are not loved by the one who created you? It tears people's lives apart if their own parents abandoned them. God is our father.
Dear Coolness, I am loved by my creator and my parents. I don't have a god of death. I have a God of life. I ask you this: What good Father would let his beloved child die? My own father would die in my place if he could. My God did die in my place. Yours did nothing worth mentioning.
Afire-------- Once again, I am confronted by someone who has no clue of what they speak of. I am not a Jehovah's witness, or else I would not be on this page, debating why you all are such idiots. I once studied with them, yes. But we conflicted in our beliefs and the study was ended. But, they had some good points, which I still believe today. You rant on about how you have found joy. But it is only false joy, as you have not found truth. Thieves and murderes find joy, too. Yet the joy escapes them as they are handcuffed and locked into jail. This so-called "joy" you speak of will escape you as well, when you are judged, and most likely destroyed. Is that what you want to happen to you? I suppose you do, if you continue to refute the truth in my words. Someday, too late, you will recognize what I said will happen and is happening. 1 Timothy 3:1-5 speaks of people "having a form of godly devotion but proving false to it's power". Therefore, it speaks of you. What upsets me the most about what you say is the fact that you said we have a god of death. HOW CAN THAT BE TRUE? Why are even living if we have a god of death. I don't think you understand the concept of that. God has always been. One day, he created humans, for pure delight to see us happy. But the humans turned their back on God. God, being just, provided a way for them to regain God's trust. You are turning your back STILL! I wonder how you can sleep thinking the way you do.
Dear Coolness, I sleep really good. It's better to be hot than cool.
I'd just like to point out that there has already been 13 pages in this thread, and numerous people have pointed out numerous times that Adahn has absolutely no idea what in the hell what he's talking about, and I've already pointed out that his "interpretation" about Revelation is totally bunk. I'm also wondering why Adahn continues to reply, even after he said he was done with this thread... Not to play Mod here, but could someone please close this thread now? It's fairly obvious that this new debate isn't going to bring anything new or worthwhile to the discussion, and there was a wrap-up earlier in the thread anyway.
Siren, if a thread is still being replied to in a decent manner, why should it be closed? Obviously people are still veiwing it. You can't seem to leave it alone either. You could you know...if you're really that tired of it.

I am come into my garden, my sister, my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk: eat, O friends; drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved. I sleep, but my heart waketh: it is the voice of my beloved that knocketh, saying, Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled: for my head is filled with dew, and my locks with the drops of the night. I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them? My beloved put in his hand by the hole of the door, and my bowels were moved for him. I rose up to open to my beloved; and my hands dropped with myrrh, and my fingers with sweet smelling myrrh, upon the handles of the lock. I opened to my beloved; but my beloved had withdrawn himself, and was gone: my soul failed when he spake: I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer. The watchmen that went about the city found me, they smote me, they wounded me; the keepers of the walls took away my veil from me. I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find my beloved, that ye tell him, that I am sick of love. What is thy beloved more than another beloved, O thou fairest among women? what is thy beloved more than another beloved, that thou dost so charge us? My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand. His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven. His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set. His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers: his lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh. His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl: his belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires. His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars. His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.
Before I begin, I would like to say, I was raised(from the age of 2) a Christian, but I refer to myself and my family as "True Christians" because we are not misled by the false things in this present system of things.
Come right out with it Coolness. You were raised a Jehovah Witness. I've heard everything you've said before. You have found no new truth apart from what was taught you since you were the age of 2. Your search for truth consists of searching for a reason to believe in what you already believe is true. All the sin in the world today is only a symptom of the greatest sin of all. It is the symptom of having a god of death. Christ came to give us joy unspeakable and abundant life forever on this earth. To return us to the place of rest inside of all of us. There is no death in Christ. There is no difference between God/Jesus/Holy Spirit. They are all Love. Love has joy! There can be no joy in having a god with the face of death. Only in looking forward to death. You say you have found truth. I have found JOY. I have found something better. Nothing can compete with it. The god of death was swallowed by my God of Life. I will have joy forevermore.

If I only had the choice to believe in a god of hell and death...I would just worship myself instead. Not because I deserve to be worshiped; but because I am better than that god. But I do have a choice. I choose to believe that God is better than that. I also believe that He is in me, and that we are one...so I will worship and adore myself anyway.

Mat 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. I personally think that the mountain Jesus was talking about is death. The only thing in this world that would perfect one's faith until nothing was truly impossible; is to see the mountain of death removed first. Until death is removed, all your seemingly impossible acts would only be temporary and disappointing eventually. To see death removed would be like the beginning of faith in the most impossible thing first. Nothing would be impossible after that. Maybe that mustard seed of faith, is the seed that that has lain dormant for so long. Maybe it's the seed that recieves the latter rain. Maybe it is the pearl of great value. Until death is removed; everything is temporary. After death is removed; everything is eternal. The surprises in the impossible would last forever.
Christians believe that in Heaven we will be fully in communion with God, and will have no other wants or needs. It won't seem redundant, as we're all totally enthralled by God's perfection. It's not something I personally like to think about as I'm here on earth, but then, I've never experienced the feeling of being fully immersed in God's love. I'm sure it has to be better than anything I've experienced, but it is still rather difficult for me to believe. I kind of like life on earth. :p
What is to stop us from being fully in communion with God now, Ben? I'm becoming more enthralled by God's perfection everday, as I am immersed in the truth of what He finished. To go back to an image of a God of Death would be impossible. The way I see it, Hell is Death. Hell is sickness and disease and corruption of the flesh. It's everything that leads to death. It is all the sadness, pain and horrors that go along with death. After Christ died, he released every soul from death. They were even seen walking throughout the city. What was that all about? Maybe somewhere deep in the subconscious mind, we do know something of our past lives. I don't know. But if we were required to "get it right this time," it would cancel out all of GRACE. Getting it right only requires faith in eternal life; whether the unjust be unjust still.

Quote from Ben here: her·e·tic (hr-tk) n. A person who holds controversial opinions, especially one who publicly dissents from the officially accepted dogma of the Roman Catholic Church. her·e·sy ( P ) Pronunciation Key (hr-s) n. pl. her·e·sies An opinion or a doctrine at variance with established religious beliefs, especially dissension from or denial of Roman Catholic dogma by a professed believer or baptized church member. Adherence to such dissenting opinion or doctrine Wow Ben...If you're going to call everyone a heretic that publicly dissents from the officially accepted dogma of the Roman Catholic Church...that's just funny. So basically, you're calling every non-Roman Catholic christian a heretic. LoL! While the so called religious Christian world goes around praying the Lord's Prayer over and over again, I sit and laugh. This is the prayer that Christ asked people to pray before His death. In His death, he fufilled this prayer. To keep praying it is anti-christ. It denies what Jesus said when He died..."It is finished." Man is still trying to do what only God could do. Forgive sin. Christ even died the same way we forgave those who sin against us....through death. Since man has never accepted this, as well as, "On Earth as it is in Heaven" he will have to die. If he can't enter into the finished forgiveness of Christ...he'll never forgive anyone truly, especially himself. He will long to die. It will be his only way of escaping the horrors of his own judgments. To eat from that tree and live forever would be Hell. That is why God left death in place. Because He is merciful still. But those that recieve the truth will never die.
I think that's about the most depressing thing I've ever read. You sound like Belinda Carlisle.
Belinda Carlisle rocks! Heaven Is A Place On Earth When the night falls down I wait for you And you come around And the world's alive With the sound of kids On the street outside When you walk into the room You pull me close and we start to move And we're spinning with the stars above And you lift me up in a wave of love... Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth ? Ooh heaven is a place on earth They say in heaven love comes first We'll make heaven a place on earth Ooh heaven is a place on earth When I feel alone I reach for you And you bring me home When I'm lost at sea I hear your voice And it carries me In this world we're just beginning To understand the miracle of living Baby I was afraid before But I'm not afraid anymore Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth ? Ooh heaven is a place on earth They say in heaven love comes first We'll make heaven a place on earth Ooh heaven is a place on earth

I've been "homeschooled" (god, I hate that word) since the 2nd grade, so I'm not the one to ask about the difficulties of highschool life. I do hear stories though, and I really don't think I would have fit in at all. I'm not strong physically, and possess certain traits that could have made my life miserable. I am thankful that I have a mom that saw this before it was too late. I'm even thankful for the chores I have to do around the house. I don't think that highschool would be a cake walk. I think that where I live (in Florida), has the highest dropout rate in the country. I don't think my parents are doing a cake walk either. They work harder than I could ever dream of. Yes, they push me to work harder. Do I need to be pushed? Yes. Sometimes I need to be shoved. Maybe if you try to be honest with your parents and communicate with them more, they will understand more how you feel, and you might understand them better too, DuoMaxwell. It might be just as good as the Freaky Friday thing...well, almost... ;)
I "misquoted" you, Afire, because the portions I omitted were useless. I omitted those portions, because, like I've said in my previous post, those portions were inconsequential. You're splitting hairs here, and you are taking the precise actions taken by various politicians here who are steadily dooming our political process through meaningless debate and conjecture, when they have no real point and thus simply drag things out for no good reason.
Thanks for clearing that up for me, Siren.
Afire, I actually didn't misquote you at all, because you may not realize that I was never being manipulated at all. I'm not fond of the way the political system is run, especially lately. I find the system rather deplorable. I view Michael Moore as a major tool, likewise how I see Bush as a total tool. Let's face it. The partisan political system is stuck in a quagmire of stagnancy and mediocrity. I didn't include that portion of your post, similar to how I excluded the other portions of your post, because it was inconsequential.
Then what was your purpose in misquoting me, Siren? I think you will make a very good politician!
On the contrary. Expect to see me running for public office in a few years. I'm no longer going to vote and nothing more. These posts are all so interesting.
