Name: Atoshi Age: 552 Gender: Male Appearance: Atoshi has jet black hair and a straight face. His skin is somewhat grey. His eyes are an icey blue color and he wears a large black cloak. His wing span for one wing is the length of one average human. He bares his fangs only when he?s ready to fight and those go well below the bottom lip. His body is a medium build and he wears a black shirt with black pants under his cloak. Weapon: Atoshi wields circular weapons that he can toss like a boomerang. (Think like axels only one is sapphire in color and the other is emerald.) These blades are sharp and can cut through numerous surfaces. They are excellent in battle against numerous enemies. The only draw back to them is how much power will need to go into each attack. Race: Demon, Vampire Side: Good Personality: Atoshi, for the most part, is silent when it comes to being in public places and around people. He likes to consult the past with himself but that?s usually it. He?s a good warrior on the battlefield due to his lack of emotion. Bio: Long ago when Atoshi was only a youngling his family lived happily in a village full of vampires. Families were all that the villagers cared about. The whole idea of the honor system was a big thing there. If one family would mess up it would be all over town in a few hours. Atoshi grew up knowing honor to be the only thing worth while. At the age of twenty he received his first weapons. They were two blades. The idea of killing seemed a bit distant to him then but he became accustom to it after much practicing on night runs with the village. These night runs were mostly the younger vampires going out and scouting for food. It was harsh for everyone at first but the second time was all the better to be satisfied by the killing of another being. After Atoshi practiced with his blades his mother and father gave him a three hundredth birthday gift. It was a the two circular blades that he own today. Atoshi appreciated what his parents did but only had time for it for awhile. It was then the demon came rushing through the town. The demon didn?t care for the vampires. After all these vampires were the type that obeyed the natural law. The natural law of the land to them was not to disturb too much of the natural world. In fact these vampires rarely hunted humans. They were not fit to fight on this demon?s side. Before they could see it coming the shadowy figure of the demon quickly overtook the town. Atoshi had to abandon his home as his parents went to fight he invader. On the hill above the village he watched as the village was set up in flames. The next morning Atoshi went to check the village. Not a single soul had survived the attack. All those who fought, even the younglings, were destroyed. This unmerciful being became Atoshi?s target then. But he didn?t feel up to it until he saw his parents? bodies rotting away. He also saw the leader?s body. He was the oldest, wisest, and Atoshi?s teacher. His last words to their bodies were ?Your death shall not be in vain.? Atoshi took his father?s cloak and set off on his journey. Since then he has not been able to predict where the demon would go.[/color][/size] So is my profile acceptable?

While he is a villian he wears thick ice armor that sheilds his identity as a common villian in the economic industry. Affiliation: Villian Powers: The ability to freeze moisture in the air and use it as weapons through armor. (Yes even Ice glasses) Origin: As a kid he was abadoned and dumped off between a nuclear plant that had a liquid nitrogen plant next to it for the effeciency of steam. While he lived in a box outside there was a leak in the radiation collecter. Together the radiation collided with the liquid nitrogen and exploded. The cardboard box protected the boy and killed all the workers. From then on he had the powers to control the ice. What makes you stupid: He doesnt' have a well education and talks like a german. He usually answers questions in more questions.

[COLOR=DarkSlateGray]Teru agreed to come with the party. He didn?t seem safe traveling with a wolf almost over his power but he went with it anyway. They walked away from the graves leaving nothing but a bit of blood about the ground. He knew he had business elsewhere but Teru was going to get down to the bottom of this. About half way to Winter?s estate Teru let out a shocked face and then looked to Leanne then the group. ?I?m sorry but I will have to leave you for now. I will be back later tonight. Fill me in on the little details.? With that Teru blinked out and appeared at the entrance of the city of the Damned. ?I must speak with them before I carry on.? Teru nodded to himself for reassurance and made his way to the Higher Archs building. Inside they assistant was sitting jotting notes. He went up to the desk. ?What business do you have with the Higher Archs Teru?? The assistant asked stamping a form. ?I must talk to them about the matter at hand. I came to them last time for the same reason.? ?They don?t have a meeting currently so go in whenever you feel like it.? ?Thank you miss.? Teru left the desk and headed towards the door. Inside it was dark just the same as last time. ?Teru you have come to us once again. What do you wish to speak about?? One of the Higher Archs said. ?I?ve come to talk about the lycans. We have one in our custody but we wish that we have absolute privacy tonight and for the rest of the week.? ?This is a big favor you are asking us. But we have some news of our own. Before we issue the order I want you to take this into consideration. We are short an Elder at your position and all the other Elders are currently busy. We found no one better to take up the final Elder position in your area than Leanne. Please give her this news and we will allow you absolute privacy. The mark of the Elder on your wrist will be given to her when she visits us again. Please go now.? ?Thank you.? Teru stepped out and into the lobby. ?That went better than planned.? A certificate was slipped into his hands while he was in the dark. ?I better get this to Leanne.? He walked outside where many pedestrians walked the streets. A news crew was close to the right of the Higher Archs. This building was the vampiric defense building. This was the headquarters for the war before. As Teru stepped out the news cast flooded towards him. ?Mr. Kinatsu!? His name was being yelled by many reporters. ?How will you get rid of the lycans?? ?What is going on in your town?? ?Is it safe there?? ?I will reassure you that my town is a safe place to live in. Please excuse me I have business to do.? Teru headed and formed a hole through the crowd and to the train station. ?Stupid reporters always trying to get a story off the Elders.? He sat down in his chair on the train and read over the certificate. ?Leanne an Elder eh? What an idea.? -Town He got off the train and started to head off to Winter?s estate with the certificate in hand.[/COLOR] OOC: This is a re-write for a bad post I did earlier. I think only one of you had a chance to read it so don?t mind this OOC if you didn?t. From my creative standpoint on this one I think I did a bit of a rushed job but hey it leaves you open. [COLOR=DarkSlateGray]Teru stepped up to Troy as if to generally talk to him. "Well I have no intent on fighting with you." Teru smuggly answered. "But these two ladies would gladly fight with you. I think you owe them an apology." "They are no match for me and neither are you. I'm the most powerful being here at the time." He snarled turning into a lycan. "I'll crush you all!" "Simmer down you ghastly beast. I've only came for a chat with you and your friend. I've came to warn you of what dangers that will lie ahead of you. If you attack me now you will be struck dead by tomorrow evening. You may have avoided the higher archs for this long but if you kill me I will pinpoint your exact location in every town." Teru said trying to get his bluff through to the wolf. "Ha you must be joking. I'm going to tear up them higher archs and you will just be another obstacle in my path." Troy bragged. "Ah but you see-" Teru stopped and took a whiff of the air. "I've known that scent for awhile now. I'd know it anywhere. You smell similar to that wolf I killed that started my regime." Teru said astonished. "What? Where was it that you smelled this scent. It is purely a distinct scent." "It was at The Battle of the Ravine. Yes the wolf that killed my father. That wolf that was my first kill as an elder." "My sister died at this battle. Me and my father searched the area ourselves for any survivors. We came upon a camp that had just been torn down. There the body of my sister lie there bleeding from a fatal wound to the back of the head. I've had no clear motive to kill you until now." "Oh did I strike a vein in hatred. I'm ever so sorry. But Troy might I ask you a simple question." "What is that you vampire." He said in disgust. "Why is it that you've been chatting us up this entire time. You have not once lunged for me or these ladies. Is it because you have not had enough lunar rays to increase your power two fold upon mine." Troy then started to look paniced. "Oh yes that is it. The look of fear I love in a victims eyes." He said revealing his necklace as well as Winter and Leanne did with theirs. "You see we have these and this will amount to your power in your present state. I believe we can take off without being harmed." "But Teru I must kill the wolf before it has a chance to-" "Winter it is too late. He's chatted with us long enough. In a matter of minutes he will become powerful enough to face five hundred of us. Now I beg your leave Troy." Teru said and turned to the door. "You are not going anywhere!" Troy lept for the door and blocked it off. "I've came here to kill you and now I will. For the murder of my brethren I will slaughter you." Then a swift break of pain happened upon Troy sending him right through the door and into the building across the street. "I told you Troy not to meddle with me in your current state. Either you will let us go or get killed." "But you yourself said that within minutes I will become stronger than you and you have no time left." "I was speaking of the ladies. With me you will have no chance. By the way Troy I smelled the mixture of beings in there. It seems like you will have company next time we meet. For now I bid you adu." Troy stepped up to Teru's car and attempted to pick it up. Teru then delivered a forceful slash to the wolf's chest sending him hurdling back down the road. He was bleeding all over the road from the wound. Teru licked his claws. "It has been awhile since I tasted lycan's blood." He smirked and drove off with Leanne and Winter. "Teru we could have taken him right then and there." Winter complained. "It was as I feared Winter. This wolf will not go down easily. We will have to take him out throug the day. If we can't do that by the next full moon in one month then he will certainly track us down and a new war will begin. This war will end in one simple way. The lycans will defeat us vampires and enslave the humans. This war will not be led by the higher archs though because by the time the war would have started they would probably all be dead. This lycan is nothing we should muddle with." "Teru where are we going?" Leanne asked from the back seat. "We are headed to the War Memorial. Beneath it are catacombs of which the wolves will never find us. Only the elders know of the true paths. My father is buried in the deepest part of the catacombs. I hope you understand Leanne that we will need to track the wolves almost twenty four seven." -Memorial The grave was dense and thick with fog. It had a creepy way of lighting the graveyard. They stepped past some of the graves and finally entered a building in the middle of the cemetary. Here was a door that led straight into the heart of the catacombs. And inside was where they went.[/COLOR]

"So I trust that it all went well." Taikaru said putting down the wet blood soaked clothes. "Yes Taikaru all of the vipers have been elminated." Said Yuhi sitting down. "I'm glad you got here. Anymore time spent with those snakes and we would have been eliminated ourselves." "I will assure you that is not all of them." Alex said getting up. "We will need some rest before we head to the core of this situation." She went to the stairs and gave a smile back at Taikaru before she went up. "She's right we will need our rest to complete this mission. So tonight I want you to pack up all you will need to carry to the airport where the most concentrated amount of creatures are. Reports of not only snaked but zombies have also flooded in. I've also have a feeling that some minor and annoying creatures are there as well. Analyzing what has happened over the past twenty years I've come to the conclusion that these things are actually forming small colonies of their own to invade the Earth and take it over for their own needs." "Why take over our civilization?" Lamia asked a little confused. "I'm sure it is for territorial reasons. I obviously can't delve into these creatures minds but I'm pretty sure that is what we are looking at. A scale force of creatures determined to invade our land." Taikaru turned to the stairway. "Please get your rest I'm headed off to sleep." Taikaru went then up the stairs and into her room. She sat down on her freshly prepared bunk. "What are they doing here and how have they gotten this smart. It seems that in the past years these things have multiplied." She looked at a few pieces of data taken with her. "The biggest concentration consist here in Australia, Russia, back in the U.S. California, etc... The last one I see here is Antartica." Taikaru mumbled to herself. "I wonder if they have units positioned there as well." She then fell back and went to sleep.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkSlateGray]The morning was brighter than usual but Teru got up and did the same routine. As soon as he put on his uv cream Leanne knocked on his door. ?Come in.? He said and Leanne came in with average clothes. ?Wha-What is that?? ?In case you forgot we are going to a bar and Inn they aren?t expecting a high ranking official to prance in there.? She said securing a cap on her head. ?Well I guess it is time for a change in clothes.? Teru said taking one hand and turning his clothes into a black smoke. The smoke twirled around him for a moment then it came back with a whole new pair of clothes. He then wore a black shirt with some jeans. ?How?s this?? He said to Leanne. ?It?s better.? She said already headed out the door. Teru grabbed a few things and left his room. ?So where in town is this bar and inn located?? ?It is in the south west part of town. We will stop off first by Winter?s then head there right away.? Teru said getting out his keys while he approached the car. They got in and he started it. ?After we find out more about the lycans whereabouts we have a better chance of tracking them down.? He then took off in a mad blast. In almost no time they were at Winter?s estate. -Winter?s They got out of the car and came to the door. There they knocked a few times. ?Oh master Teru and lady Leanne please follow me.? Will said directing them to the main hall. At the top of the stairs stood winter in a white dress. ?My lady Teru and Leanne have arrived.? ?Thank you Will now you may leave.? She walked down the steps and reached Teru. ?Now take me to the bar.? She said as they headed out. Teru got opened the doors for both Leanne and Winter. He then got in himself and started the vehicle. ?Are you expecting the lycan to be there?? ?Not likely. After I picked up on his blood scent he probably went and vanished.? Teru then took off. ?The plan I have is just the basic detective work. If he was there then we will track him down. If he?s there we will take him out for good.? Both Leanne and Winter nodded. -Bar and Inn They walked into the bar and inn. When Winter walked in the crowd of partial to total drunken men all went into a riot. Teru walked off to the counter while Leanne and Winter went elsewhere. ?Are you the manager?? Teru asked a husky man behind the counter rubbing down a glass. ?What business you have here?? He asked with a stern face. ?I?m looking for someone I saw here awhile back.? ?Sir, lots of people come and go here I think you have to be a little more specific.? ?I?m looking for a girl named Marie.? ?Oh ya she?s a nice person. She even decided to live here.? ?Live here?? Teru started to question him. ?Ya shes says that she?s in a scoop and asked me to get her out of it. That and her boyfriend.? ?Boyfriend?? Teru asked again. ?Ya she comes in alone sometimes but that guy is always coming in too. They go upstairs and who knows what happens there.? ?Could I see their room?? ?What do you need up there? There he saw a single bed with a nightstand. There was a window as well with blood strewn all over the floor. Teru bent down and wiped his finger on the floor. Bit of it came up and onto his finger. Then he licked it. ?Definitely lycan blood.? ?So Teru where to next?? Winter asked. ?Teru, if I could make a suggestion, we should look in other spots of town. Maybe we could find them.? Leanne asked. She stepped forward and looked at a piece of paper on the nightstand. ?What?s this?? she asked herself. ?What did you find?? Winter took the paper from her. As Winter read it Leanne revealed its contents. ?Gone for a night on the town be back later. Sincerely, Marie.? ?Night on the town eh?? Teru said taking another whiff of the room. ?Seems like another party has entered their workings. From the smell of things there was also a human here.? ?A human helping a lycan? That is completely up surd!? Winter exclaimed. ?Weren?t they the ones that promised us the position in power for killing these things?? ?Honestly Winter don?t you think that the humans have gotten afraid of our power? But we must hurry up and find these people. If we don?t then the entire town could very well be lycans by the time we find them.? Teru said headed down stairs again. He passed the counter with the ladies but the manager stopped them. ?Hey if you could put in a good word with your bosses I?ll tell you the name of her boyfriend.? ?It?s possible.? ?His name is Troy.? ?Thank you. For consolation for your help.? Teru just nodded to both Leanne and Winter then gave them a small order. ?Take them out if you want. But I?m going to have myself a feast.? He said turning around. Both Leanne and Winter did as well. They bore there fangs. ?As I said we thank you for all your help.? Blood splattered all over the place. The windows were stained red. All of them lie on the floor. Not a single bite mark in them but Leanne, Winter, and Teru feasted on many pints of blood before leaving.[/COLOR] OOC: I guess Illusion you could take us to the our destination.

I will then be able to have full confirmation of the higher archs* The decision actually passed rather quickly. Teru nodded and woke Leanne up. She got up a little startled. ?It?s time to see them now Leanne.? She nodded and they went into the dark room again. ?Teru Kinatsu Elder. We of the Higher Archs have reason to believe from what we found out in this book that the revenge is a threat. We ask of you to extinguish this threat. Yet, you can?t do this alone. We of the Higher Archs will give you three objects to enhance your power against the lycans. Now with Alden?s death we can give you these three gems. Inside each of these bits of jewelry resides a simple jewel. In inside that jewel though resides the concentrated essence of which we get our power. This necklace is for you Teru. In it has your father?s essence. You will work well with this. Secondly we give you this bracelet Leanne. Inside this contains the first elders. These elders may have lost their lives but are truly great in power. Finally I give you this ring. Inside of it contains Alden?s essence. I want you to give this to Winter. Although these vampires were extremely powerful they still won?t give you enough power to destroy the lycan without harm. From what we can tell you will be pretty evenly matched. Now go back to your town.? The door lit up and Teru thanked the elders and walked out. Leanne followed right after him. ?So Teru what is that you have?? ?Basically it is the mystery I?ve been trying to figure out for the last whatever years. Now I want you to keep this bracelet at all times ok?? ?Alright Teru I?ll just think of it as a gift from you to me.? ?Now I will need a bit faster transport back to town than a train so let?s see how advanced these pieces of jewelry are.? He said getting ready to teleport. They both teleported back to town and there energy was vastly drained but they had enough of it to fend off generals in the vampiric army. ?Where are we?? Leanne asked as she turned around to see a great house. ?We are where I want to be, Winter?s estate.? He went to the door and knocked a few times. It took a bit but a butler opened the door. ?Lord Teru if you would follow me please? Will motioned Teru to follow him; they went around the top level into the East wing of Winter?s house. The meeting room was quite lavishly decorated. Teru sat at the head of a large dining table that sat in the middle of the large room. ?Do you require anything?? ?A drink if you will? William bowed to Teru as he went to fetch an assortment of drinks. He looked around until Winter arrived in a Jade green dress. ?What are you here for Teru?? She said politely. ?Well first I want you to accept this.? He took out the ring. She looked shocked and backed away a bit. ?Marriage!? Are you absolutely insane!?? She said looking a little disgusted. ?No not marriage! This is a gem given to me by the Higher Archs. This will increase your power to match evenly with the lycans.? Teru said trying to explain the situation. ?Well as long as it enhances my power I will take it.? She grabbed it right out of Teru?s hands. ?I?ve also come to mention a small little detail.? He said reaching for the sack. ?What detail is that?? ?Oh nothing but the demise of all vampires.? He said as he unleashed the book from the sack. ?This book foretells all that a lycan can do. How it eats, how vicious it can be, how it can be killed, and what happens when its brethren are killed.? ?What does this have to do with the problem at hand? All I see is-? She took a closer look as she was examining the table of contents. ?Lycans revenge?? She questioned as she flipped to page 1200. ?This is astounding.? She said after she read the first two paragraphs. ?So the wolf cheated on my husband?s strength.? ?Not exactly Winter.? Teru said getting ready to point something out. ?The night Alden was killed there wasn?t a full moon. By the end of the month the moon will be full and the lycan will unleash its first attack. As long as we can keep ourselves alive during the night of the full moon we have another chance. We can scout for him while the moon isn?t full and hide when it is.? ?Why hide when we have these.? She said pulling out her ring. ?As I said they only make us equal to his power. I?m just hoping nobody else will be turned into a lycan. They can infect the human race and beat us all. Humans are reliable to us.? ?I see your point not only do we have to do this for the greater good of the vampires but to preserve function in this world.? ?Yes I guess you could put it that way. Look we only got about a week before the full moon appears. We need to find this lycan and keep away from it on the night of the full moon.? ?And what part do you play in this?? She asked looking at both Leanne and Teru. Teru noticed Leanne was being a little quiet. ?Well I?m here to get back at the Lycans for killing my father. I?ve still have a lust for their blood as well.? ?Well as you know Teru Alden was murdered and I?m going to get these lycans no matter what. So what I?m truly looking for is why she has to tag along.? ?Well Ms. Winter?My parents were assigned to guard Alden. They were supposed to retire that night so I too have a lust for killing them.? Leanne said hesitating to mention anything about Alden. ?Alright so we got a party how are we going to find these lycan?? Winter asked. ?Well haven?t gotten that far yet. But the best place we could look is that old bar and inn. I heard stories there before. I?m sure there is bound to be at least one person who knows something about the lycans. Oh yes and if I do remember what was that persons name. Oh ya Marie was working as a bartender for a bit. I?ve always seen her go upstairs though. I think maybe she lived there or something. But one thing is for sure is that whenever she opened that door I could smell blood. It smelled like a lycan but not exactly. That is all I have to go on.? ?Ok so we got a lead. I?ll meet with you tomorrow morning. Then we can go out hunting.? She said directing them to leave. Teru left and took his book. Both Leanne and Teru walked back to the Kinatsu manor. -Kinatsu manor When they came through the door the clock struck one in the morning. ?Let?s get some rest Leanne. Tomorrow we will meet Winter at her place.? ?Alright Teru.? She said as both of them parted for their bedrooms.[/COLOR] OOC: Ok a little bit of a rush but what the heck. I guess then it is up to you to develop the story a little more Illusion.

OOC: sorry for the lateness on this one. I just had to get a few things together. Anyway? [SIZE=1][COLOR=Navy]The jet rocketed through the air as everyone was silent. Taikaru had put down the pictures and started to look out the window. The sky was a deep sea like blue with a bunch of clouds covering it below her. She got quite interested in this view until there was a command from the cockpit. ?We are going to be over the drop out point. Please prepare for dive.? They all got up and put on some parachutes. ?We are opening the doors now.? The back hatch opened as their equipment fell they jumped. The jet kept going above them at a tremendous speed while they fell with their things. After falling for about ten seconds they opened their parachutes. They could see a small military fort below them being ransacked by the creatures. ?Down there we will help them until we have stable ground. Then we will go for the main airport terminal where they keep their headquarters!? Taikaru yelled as they fell and over the shots being fired below. They were one thousand feet from the ground and dropping steadily. ?Taikaru I will take the North end and I?ll meet up with you afterwards.? Alex said as there was a bit of silence and then a bunch of shots. ?The units there will need my guidance.? She said as she took off that way. Taikaru looked at the rest of the group she had and gestured that they would be landing soon by looking at the ground. The sound of bullets and few tanks were all that they could hear when they landed right by the battlefield. They unstrapped their parachutes and followed Taikaru to the Officer of the division. ?We are here to help you call your soldiers back a bit to give us covering fire.? ?Who are you!?? He ordered as the launch of another shell hit a viper square in the head. ?We are from New York. We are part of a government?s top special division. We have duty here.? ?Alright I?ll bring my men back but get those vipers off of us.? He said as he told his men to give them covering fire. As soon as they backed up the vipers started to take ground. There was a group of twenty left on this side and about twenty five on the other. Taikaru started to form an aura around her as she took out her blades. She took a deep breath and gave the order for everyone to attack. ?I?ll take on as many as I can. I want all of you to do what you wish but stay together so you don?t make a mistake. Our reinforcements are here somewhere they are probably already fighting. If you find her while fighting bring her over to me after we hold off this attack.? Taikaru said and everyone went off. Taikaru went off on her own to the front lines. *I know this is a bad idea but what the heck.* She thought to herself as she charged the first viper. It burrowed underground and came up right under her. She jumped to her left and took out her pistol and started shooting. She got one good shot on the tail end of it before it went underground again. The ground shook as the viper came up again. This time it came up to the left of her thinking she was going to jump again. This time she stayed put and shot the viper right in the neck. Right after she killed it another was coming straight at her. There was no time to move. She readied for her death. From the west though came a figure that tackled the snake and tore it to shreds. She wants revenge.? ?I know how many people related to us were killed by those vile creatures. If they would have never started a war in the first place we wouldn?t be in this mess.? ?Teru I must get my lust for blood before Winter does. Or even kill the lycan that did this together. I know this is a little much to ask but could you ally yourself with winter until this is over. Now that you have got a look at this wolf?s face he is bound to be on the run.? ?I saw his eyes. When he backed out of the train there was more than fear of being killed in there. There was a greater look one with intensity and determination. I believe this look is also a sign.? ?So what if the Higher Archs find that this lycan problem is an extreme one.? ?I don?t know what they will do but somehow they will put a stop to it.? Teru was actually never fond of a casket in his younger days and liked the beds made by humans. His father never stopped him of this practice so it eventually became habit. Leanne too was fond of the beds but was able to sleep in a casket if she wanted to. ?How about this place? It is rather out of the way.? The place was called the midnight inn. They stepped in but it was fancier inside then it was outside. Ultra violet lights illuminated the hall. You could still see your way around if you were human visiting this place but it felt more comfortable for vampires this way. ?Hello sir.? The vampire behind the desk said. ?Yes I have a room reserved here for a Teru.? He said hoping that being famous himself there would be his own reserved room. ?I?m sorry but if you are of a high political stature you will still have to order a room yourself.? ?Alright.? He said and gave him a few dollars out of his pocket. ?Room six on the sixth floor please. Here is your key.? He gave it to Teru. Teru went upstairs with Leanne and went into his room. ?High political stature. Is that what he wants to call me?? He said as he entered his room. ?I?ll tell you something Leanne a guy like that has no respect for the war.? Leanne sat down on the bed and looked out the window. The view of the Higher Archs building was great. ?So how is the room?? He asked setting down a few things. ?It is great. Kind of like my old home.? She said and turned to Teru. ?I was wondering. What happens if you are denied for help from the Higher Archs?? ?They have all the law with in there hands. I can do nothing to stop their decision. But if that is the case then I will have to volunteer myself to fight the lycans.? He started to seem a little scared but then thought of his father. First there is the scent of himself. Secondly I smelled a bunch of blood on his coat. A third scent I noticed but I can?t place is the scent of a female. And finally this smell. It is coming from his blood soaked coat.? ?What do you mean blood soaked? I saw no blood on it.? ?It is soaked from many times before. It was probably washed off.? ?So what do you mean you recognize it?? ?I mean I smelt it before. Sometimes I think you ask too many questions.? ?Well I?m here to make you express your feelings. A group effort can take out an entire army. Next I thought blood gave us our ability to fight. Just the thought of it makes me smile. Finally this third one says to me something residing in the dark depths of death is the answer. Somewhere in the death of another is what drives our strengths.? ?So what do you mean? Like when your father died you came out just like the lycans with revenge.? ?Not exactly revenge but before my father died I never knew how to teleport my body from one place to another. So what made it so that you don?t gain abilities from just another vampire from dieing?? ?Well in a way the death of another vampire isn?t the whole story. It is the amount we care for these individuals that runs it. If some other vampire were to die I would get a very small amount of energy, yet, when another closer vampire, like you, were to die I would get a huge burst of energy. I haven?t figured it out yet or how to harness it. But, I do know that the only way we do get it is through death.? ?You?re just the biggest thinker I know Teru. I never thought you actually study.? ?I do this in my extra time. I just wonder if Winter knows this as well. If she comes to this city will she be sent with me?? She said looking at where the wolf had been. ?If he only stayed for a bit longer I could have caught him right there. Just from his hair I could smell the stench of my kin.? He looked at the ground then at the thinning crowd. ?Looks like a little more research as to how to beat these things is in order.? They went to another free platform and got on a train just leaving. ?No protection?? Leanne asked as the train started to move. ?I?m the only protection you will need.? -Late afternoon They arrived in a capital city from the looks of the buildings around them. There in that city was the scent of vampires. All around they were walking like it didn?t matter. Inside this city there was one building that Teru recognized from his childhood. It was in the middle of the city but it had a picture of it on a bulletin board at the station. ?That is where I?m going.? He pointed to the picture as Leanne followed him. He walked down the street and saw there were actually no humans in the city what-so-ever. Eventually after winding roads he came to the building of the Higher Officials that gave the position of Elder. Here was where they decided who would govern the six sections of the world. There were three elders for every section except for Teru?s. Now there were only two. He went through the big double doors and wound up in a lobby. A women was at the desk ready for him to come by. ?What order of business do you have with the Higher Archs.? Teru was expecting a warmer welcome but gave his reason none-the-less. ?I?m here to talk about the past.? Checking the schedule, the assistant found they were open at this hour. ?Go on in.? He wears white clothes like a cleric but isn?t one himself. He is quite distinguished in the village by the golden trims on his white clothes. From time to time when he has to be silent and sneaky he switches to a black robe with a billowing hood. Personality: He was grown up to learn that the arts of learning was everything to a man. He was taught that magic could be used to solve a lot of tasks but not every one of them. He was a rather smart and agile child and grew up knowing a lot. He is a kind man to many people and will help out anyone in trouble. Bio: Grown up in a small village to the east of Alsoto. This village poured a life of crops into the city for sale. In his village you could either work and become a very strong man or you could learn and be wise. He chose the path of wisdom. In school he became the top of his class quickly and was able to learn many skills needed. After regular mage elementary he went into a intermediate mage class. He was able to swiftly learn the skills taught to him. In the few years he was in these schools he learned how to perform something basic as fire balls to something as complex as making a weapon out of his surroundings. Kent finally made it to a mage high school where he studied in the advanced classes. He pretty much learned every spell by he was done with school. Yet the only problem left was to master them all. He devoted the next several years to training these skills. He trained mostly in his back yard because everyone was out in the fields even his parents. He put together spells everyday until he was 34. On a hot summers day the sun beat down hard. There were dark clouds coming in from the north. Kent didn?t really pay attention but before he new it Lisiae attacked his village. The crops were burnt down in one swift blow. He could feel the souls of most of the villagers dieing. He was teaching the local children that wanted to learn basic magic at the time. He took the kids and started running with them. He pleaded with them to hurry but some said that they wanted to see ?mommy? or ?daddy.? Kent only replied to them that their parents have moved on. They trusted Kent and ran with him. They ran down a hill straight to another village that wasn?t in the path of Lisiae. It was a good five miles to the west and close to Alsoto. Teru finished putting on his lotion and got on his shirt. Next he got on his business shirt and then started to get neat. He tucked his white shirt in after he got on some dress pants and walked out the door. Leanne was awake already sitting at the breakfast table. She had a worried look on her face. ?Good morning.? He said as he pulled the book from behind him. He took out something from his pocket and wrapped the book in it. They protected Alden the best they could. ?It may be that but they were on that train not only to guard Alden but they were also retiring from the vampiric guard that night.? She started to sniffle a bit then she looked back at Teru like her entire personality shifted. ?Those damn lycans are going to fall like by my hand. I?m not going to rest until my parents are avenged.? Her anger brewed and she went upstairs. ?Tough losing her parents. I guess-? He was again cut off but by a door slamming. Leanne came back downstairs with a huge bag. She dumped it all over the table. ?Wha-What?s this?? He said as a whole arrangement of guns and silver bullets were poured out onto the table. ?It is my stash of weaponry. I?ve been practicing this since I was 280.? She picked up a gun with a clip on the bottom. She shoved it in and put it in her belt. ?Alright Teru I?m ready.? She said. Teru opened the front door as the sun came gleaming in. ?The sun is bright today.? ?We both have our lotion on so it doesn?t matter.? Leanne said as she took a step outside. She looked around and then walked to the front gate where there was Teru?s car. ?I?ll be driving then.? Teru said as he got out his keys. She got in as Teru started up the car. ?You know my father was the one that raised me. He thought I could be a great leader. Until he was killed by that lycan. I saw his body fall and turn to dust. When that lycan came after me I did what my father said to do. I let go of myself and let my emotions run rampant. I was able to kill the lycan with a swift silver blade to the back.? ?Your father raised you. What about your mother.? ?I only had my mother until I was ten. She was part of the first lycan attack. This attack failed miserably. They had these special designed blades and fangs coated in some concentrated liquid form of UV light. It was only until later that we found out how to counter it with that lotion mixture. She died that night as she was killing a lycan. My father he was angry enough at the lycans that he was the first elder that became a general in the army. My mother she took out a good one hundred of them lycans before she was clawed in the back. My father won battle after battle. It seems our family has a legacy of being strong. But those lycans like to kill us off faster than we can reproduce.? Teru looked over to Leanne. She was crying a bit in her hands. ?What?s wrong?? ?Your mother; didn?t you grieve over her?? ?I did for awhile until I took under my fathers training. I found it a good stress relief. But after my father was killed; I took it into my hands to destroy every lycan that was left. Then after that Winter came along and wiped out the rest or what we thought was the rest.? ?So where are we going then?? Leanne asked as she looked out the car window. ?We are going to go to the crime scene. After that I?m going to go to Winter and give her evidence of this lycan attack.? Teru said as he turned into the station. They got out of the car and walked into the lobby of the station. They turned the corner and reached platform six. ?What happened here?? He asked another vampire. ?Well Kinatsu we?ve discovered key evidence that it was a lycan attack.? ?Good work officer I will need that evidence.? Teru started to walk to the train. ?Oh yes Kinatsu you will need this to investigate any further.? He said as he tossed him a certification card. ?Thank you!? Everyone else stayed though. Human after human left until all that was left was a room full of vampires. As they walked away Teru started to form a small smile. As the dance went on his smile grew bit by bit. ?Teru this was a lovely evening. How about taking it through the night?? Leanne asked trying to get his attention. ?Oh yes!? He said a bit startled. His fangs were now showing to the group and an aura around him bent the view of objects in the view behind him. The head elder took the stand as the orchestra stopped playing. ?I would like to thank all you vampires for the earlier years of war. I was there to command you all and all your comrades are worshipped for what they have done. Tonight I would like to pay special regard to Kinatsu?s father for leading the war into our advantage. After his father?s death Kinatsu took the stand as the general and the third elder. With his way with war he was able to knock down the lycans to a small few. Also the second elder, Winter, I would like to thank her for organizing the last extermination of the lycans. I hope you will all have a good night. I will take my leave now.? The head elder transported as he walked out the doors. Now Kinatsu stood at the microphone. ?I would also like to thank all our comrades in the earlier war. Winter just gave a small nasty look and walked out the door. Teru started to pick things up from the gathering. ?And now I?m left alone in peace.? He said as he picked up the last of what was there. He walked upstairs into his room and walked back to the balcony. There he looked up at the moon and remembered the night he saw his father killed. A small grunt and it was cleared from his mind. He went back to his bedroom door restless. He couldn?t get to sleep at this time so he went down the hall to his library. ?Maybe I could find something here to keep me occupied.? Teru glanced at the books and found one that had a red cover. It was different than the rest in there. Most were all grey and black. He took it out for a bit of reading. Without looking at the title he just started on a random page. He flipped through the pages until he came to page 1200. ?What?s this?? He picked up a letter. On it only had the visible words [b]?On the night of the 1200th gathering power will come to?[/b] and it left off. ?Power? To whom?? Teru argued with the letter. Dated on the bottom was the year of the first gathering and his father?s signature. ?What did he know?? He pondered a bit and took the book back to his room. He closed the door behind him while he was focused on the book. ?Hey Teru.? Leanne?s voice said from the balcony. ?Leanne what are you doing here?? ?You see my house at the moment has just been destroyed. I thought I?d come back here.? Leanne said as she took a step into the room. ?Wait it was destroyed. By what may I ask?? Teru set the book down and looked at Leanne. ?Well they said it was an old house and it collapsed in on itself. I thought that thing was going down anyway.? Leanne sat on a chair and fiddled with a few pens. ?Oh?well?uh I have a guest room prepared.? He said a little nervous. ?Ok.? Leanne said. As she walked past him she noticed the book on the table. ?Hey what?s with the book?? ?Oh it?s nothing.? He said but Leanne snatched it away anyway. Instead of flipping straight to a random page she looked at the title. ?Lycans? Why would you read up on this? They are extinct aren?t they?? Leanne asked as she handed the book back to him. ?Well you see I found this in the book.? He handed the letter to her. She read it over and came to a conclusion. ?Well obviously since he put it in that book it must mean that?lycans?are?back.? She stopped and started becoming nervous. ?I heard the stories Teru I don?t want them to come back.? ?Don?t worry even though I hate to say this Winter did a thorough job of eliminating the last of them. We have no need to worry about my father?s talk.? Teru said trying to comfort her. She nodded and went off to her room. Teru though sat on the bed and read into the lycan book. He took a glance at the table of contents. Chapter One-The lycan Chapter Two-History of lycan Chapter Three-The life of a lycan Chapter Four-Enemies of the lycan Chapter Five-How to kill a lycan Chapter Six-Lycan?s Revenge The pages were numbered and it just so happened that chapter six started on page 1200. ?I thought the lycans were all killed. None of them should be left.? He took a look through the pages until he got to page 1200 again. The end of the book was at page 1800. ?Chapter Six-Lycan?s Revenge. After a defeat they lycan always has thoughts of revenge. The lycan condition though can also be considered a virus. Transmitted through birth or a bite a human can become a lycan. After a lycan?s brethren have fallen it gets a huge burst of energy. This energy is also called revenge. Only the lycan can channel this feeling into energy. With this energy and on a night of the full moon these lycans can have the energy to take out even the best of their natural enemy, vampires.? Teru set the book down and left it on that page. He only glanced at the page once more and then lay down on his bed. He had a small bit of fear but he just reminded himself of what his rival did and eventually drifted off to sleep.[/COLOR]

The moon was quite visible in the sky and the wings of vampires could be seen flying to a manor at the end of an extensive court yard. The spurting of water and the flapping of wings filled the air around the manor. This was the Kinatsu manor. Mr. Kinatsu was the only heir to this fortune. This one son was the only heir to the third division of vampire elders. After a few seconds of a clean wind flowing through the air came a rush of a few vampires. The sound of an orchestra played as everyone entered. On the manor there was a big mahogany door with a few guards standing outside of it. There was a small mistress outside the door checking on the one with the checklist. On top there was an old stone wall. It was a rather big building for two stories but that was the point of a manor. On top of the second level outside on a balcony holding his head up high Teru looked at the moon. It was only half of a moon but he still felt a small concern on the inside. The scar of seeing his father lost was reopened. He sighed and then walked back into his room. From outside his bedroom door he could hear the music coming from the lower level. He sat there looking at the floor for a bit and then looked back outside. There was a small knock on his door. ?Teru it?s time.? A girl?s voice said from the other side of the door. She came through the door closing it right behind her. She was the same height as Teru and had blue hair. She had somewhat of a nerdy look to her but she was beautiful to Teru. She kept her glasses loose on her face as she straightened out her hair. ?Is there anything wrong?? Teru still stared off outside. ?Teru?? She said again. Teru snapped out of his trance and responded to her. ?Oh yes?? Teru said looking directly into her eyes. ?It is time for the speech.? She said a little meekly. Teru turned to her and looked into her eyes deeply. ?Yes would you mind accompanying me?? Teru said hooking his elbow and grabbing her arm lightly. She took her left hand and pressed her glasses up a bit and nodded. Together they came out of the room and looked down to the huge party of people at the first level. They walked about half way from the room to the steps before everyone started clapping. Someone?s voice came booming over the crowd with a microphone. ?And now ladies and gentlemen comes the owner himself of this great manor. The only heir to his father?s business legacy, Teru Kinatsu.? They walked down the steps as the orchestra played. They reached the fist floor and everyone started conversing again. The announcer came on again. ?And now Winter the beauty.? She came down with and orchestra intro as well. Teru made a small scowl at her but then resumed his formal like face. She too made a small scowl at him and then went into the crowd. ?You?ll get her someday.? She said. ?Leanne you?re absolutely correct. With those werewolves not plaguing us anymore I can focus on becoming better than the second.? Teru said quietly as to not attract interest in the crowd. In the crowd?s point of view vampires were just war-like creatures that only had a few respected citizens. Half of this group was human and half of this group was vampires so he had to keep his thoughts to himself. Teru kept in his dance as the music went along. He kept thinking to himself what if the lycans come back. But then he just says to himself that they won?t and he keeps on dancing. The song cut and the announcer came back on again. ?And now for the feast.? He said while the clock struck nine. A vast amount of chefs brought out quite the feast. Everyone sat down to have a bite to eat. Winter and Teru sat at opposite ends of the table. It was a long rectangular table with the first division sitting on the end, the second division sitting on the left, and the third division sitting on the right. Everyone ate to their hearts content and loved it. Even the vampires somewhat indulged themselves. After the meal was over the first elder stood up after clinking his glass with his fork. ?I have an announcement. This has been the greatest year of the feast yet. I would like to thank Mr. Kinatsu for sponsoring the feast at his great manor. I would like to begin this year with the annual speech. First you Kinatsu.? Teru stood up and cleared his throat. ?Thank you head elder, thank you everyone. I was a lad when my father died and I wish to carry on his legacy. [SIZE=1][COLOR=Navy]?Alright we are going to take off here in a moment.? Taikaru said watching as one of the late member got in. He just gave a greeting as he was stuffing food into his mouth apologizing at the same time. Taikaru, a little disgusted, turned to the jet and got on. Everyone filed on to the plane. Two pilots also got on and started checking dials and things before take off. Everyone sat down and buckled in for the ride. As soon as they were all strapped in the plane started to kick up the engines. The buzzing outside was gradually getting louder as the jets powered up. The doors in the south west of the hanger opened and a ramp appeared. From there you could see the sunlight. Taikaru wasn?t too sure of herself as the pilots yelled back at them ?Prepare for lift off!? The pilots hit the controls and the plane burst out of the ramp and into the sky at a great speed. Taikaru was swung to the side. ?When was that feature put in.?? Taikaru said recuperating from the jolt. Alex looked over to her and gave a little thought before she said anything. ?It was put in about three years ago. Most government jets needed to be fast so they put in a jet that had some kick.? Alex looked back at the others and then stared off into the distance. Taikaru though had other plans. She was kind of looking forward to this mission because she hadn?t seen action for awhile. She looked at the other members and looked back in her lap. She didn?t realize she brought the mission specs with her but they were in her lap nonetheless. She opened up the folder and took a look at what satellite photos captured. She definitely saw that the vipers had adapted too their surroundings. You could barely see them on the photo. She kept shifting through the papers looking at every detail. ?Wait a moment.? Taikaru said quietly to herself. She looked a little bit further into the paper she just picked up. Another person was there able to reinforce at their drop point. Her name was Yuhi. She took a look at her profile a bit but set it down relieved there was going to be another member. Then she spotted another interesting thing. She looked at the photos and kept looking. She came across a photo that did have something she recognized. Rather someone than something. She couldn?t make out the figure but she could definitely feel that this person was someone she knew.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

Name: Teru Kinatsu (A.K.A. Teru of the Shadows) Age: Looks 25 Really age 512. It is stained with blood from before. Another weapon he carries is a brilliant sword that he really just keeps on his wall. If he brings it out for use then you can be sure your in for one hell of a fight. Finally he carries a small handgun with the name Teru engraved in it. Back story: When Teru was a little boy he was fascinated from wars. He just loved the smell of blood but never knew why. He saw just innocent children playing sometimes and just had an urge to kill. Eventually as he grew up he learned of him being a vampire at age five. He was kept under guard because he was one of the previous elder?s sons. Throughout the centuries his brothers grew up. Eventually the war came. His father was an Elder and a great leader. Held in high respect among the three elders he led army after army in battle. He commanded his six sons into battle. At age 130 Teru began his lessons of how to use vampiric magic and a blade. His first weapon was his small knife. He mastered is quite quickly. Soon enough all of Teru?s brothers were in war. All of them were commanded under his father. Yet the lycans were one strong foe. He saw the first of his brethren struck down. Lethal lycan slash to his head ripped it off. There his brother fell to the ground ash spurting from the neck. Soon the body crumbled into dust and vanished into the wind. Teru got his first glimpse of war there. Before he knew it he started to get the name Teru of the Shadows. One by one his brothers fell in the next battles and frightened to be the next Teru kept to his soon-to-be name. His father was the last one to fall. After a great battle his father and the remaining vampires were stationed in a camp. While there they were rejoicing over the won battle and drinking a whole lot of blood they picked up. They were all sitting around different fires while Teru, his father, and another high ranking official were attacked by one last remaining lycan. His father was struck first dieing with that one blow to the head. Next was the official getting clipped heavily in the back. Finally Teru was faced with one angry lycan. He took out his blade and used without notice a blink spell and cut the lycan right straight through the head. He leaped to his father crumbling on the ground. His body was reduced to dust in a matter of seconds. Anger stirred in him and finally he vowed for revenge of his father. The war still carried on and Teru finally got his place in society as Elder Teru last remaining heir to the third Elder position. I hope this is alright. If I have to change anything as far as going into depths about Teru?s past and stuff just pm me.

[SIZE=1][COLOR=Navy]Taikaru came out of the training room and looked up and down the hall. The training rooms were vacant except for one. Taikaru just shrugged and moved on. Out in the hallway she passed Red?s office. ?Maybe I should go and visit Red. But later I got some things to do.? Taikaru walked on to the armory. There she took a few clips for her ammo and a slate to sharpen her blade. After that she went to her room preparing her necessary equipment. She sharpened her blade making a resonating sound like something out of a horror movie. She sharpened and sharpened until it couldn?t be sharpened any more. She put the blade lightly to her finger drawing blood. She cleaned it off and started to set up her clips. She renewed the clips in the guns and put some around a belt that she found. A few spare other spare things were put in there as well. The technology had advanced enough to at least make things smaller. She put in a few pieces of food like tablets. It provided the natural body energy needed but it had no taste to it. After packing that stuff away she went over to the bathroom to wash her face from the training. She managed to get one viper down but she was willing for more. She didn?t want to waste too much energy on the simulation but the simulation was still hard enough. Taikaru looked into the mirror and started to fix herself up to get ready to help in Australia. While Taikaru looked into the mirror she looked slightly older than she did the last time. Her hair was a bit longer and her physical stature had grown a bit. ?I guess cryogenics haven?t been fully developed.? Taikaru said to herself as she noticed these features. She walked out the door with her belt and everything on and saw Alex walk down another hallway. ?Hey Alex!? Taikaru said trying to hold her up. Alex stopped and looked back and Taikaru walked to her. ?Yes Taikaru?? Alex asked looking almost in a rush. Taikaru stood there briefly wondering why she was walking that fast but it was none of her concern. ?I?ve been meaning to ask you. Would you rather feel better taking the team leader job than me?? Taikaru asked looking at herself and her abilities in the future now. ?Taikaru remember team leader doesn?t mean much. Let?s just put it as a tactical supervisor. Although I?m better trained than you, in any case I will allow you to gain some experience in fighting these newer monsters. I?ll give you some pointers to start out with. Don?t go rushing in at all take a safer route if available. Don?t sacrifice team members to a cause that will end in failure. You know the basic stuff that you would learn anywhere.? Alex said reassuringly. ?Anyway got to go see you later.? Alex said waving as she left down the hall. Taikaru thought it over for awhile and sitting there in the hall she realized that she did need experience and pointers. ?Thanks Alex.? Taikaru said quietly heading off to the hanger. -Hanger 11:00 a.m. It was one hour from taking off in the jet Taikaru looked at. A few other guards were putting equipment on the plane in case of back up. A clip board hung in a man?s hand by the cargo bay on the jet. ?Hey!? Taikaru said over the loud thudding noises as she walked over to the man in charge. ?How are things coming along here?? Taikaru asked trying to get a peek at the clipboard. ?We will be done in about thirty more minutes. Miss Taikaru is it?? ?Yes.? ?I would advise you to check the cock pit and passenger area for any abnormalities. The only thing this jet has been modified by is a new jet propulsion system. It is an old jet. I don?t know why Red still keeps it.? The man said rambling on about Red. After Taikaru walked away the shouts of him could be heard to the workers. Taikaru walked up the stairs into the passenger area. She checked out the drop area first. The hinges were secure and the parachutes were in place. These parachutes weren?t just cloth or anything. These parachutes allowed a fast enough fall but a soft landing. Taikaru looked then at the seats and the things in the passenger area. You couldn?t tell it was a jet with the place looking like a living room. Through a metallic door she came to the cock pit. Observing the dials and the chairs she saw a few things flashing but nothing that shouldn?t be. Taikaru observed everything she could before stepping out of the jet. ?How are things up there?? The man shouted as she appeared in the door. ?Everything is alright and ready to go.? Taikaru stepped down and left the hanger. She walked back to the mess hall. Everyone had finished their breakfast but there were still members playing cards. She calmly backed out and looked for the others. Alex was nowhere to be found but Lamia was still training. Taikaru wandered the halls anxious for the mission and decided to wait it out in her room. She got back to her room and picked up only a revitalization vial. This was a quick, easy, and hard to refine medicine that was able to rejuvenate anyone in severe danger. She only had one and was hoping never to use it. She looked at the clock. It now read 11:50 a.m. ?I?ll head down to the hanger. I?m sure Red will tell them to meet there.? Just as Taikaru was done saying those words Red came over on the pa system. ?Everyone report to the hanger. Take off will begin in ten minutes.? Taikaru gave a shrug and headed down there using shadow melding to speed her travel. She melded into the wall and the next thing she saw was the hanger. She was a bit drained but she would defiantly heal on her way to Australia. Members started coming in. First was Lamia and then came an entire group she couldn?t specify each individual. And finally Alex. ?Ok everyone let?s get ready.? Taikaru said. ?We have our equipment and everything else. Good.?[/COLOR][/SIZE] OOC: Alright everyone catch up to this point and we can finally take off.

[COLOR=Navy][SIZE=1]Taikaru sat on her bed and thought for awhile. She thought about Farel and the past. But she really never wanted to think about the past that much. So she tried to adjust her mind to other things. First she looked through her head and came across the training she had just a bit ago. ?Oh ya how could I forget about that? I had to stretch out and it turns out that I killed five of them. Yet when I saw Alex join in she killed them like she was a pro. If she hadn?t jumped in late she could have taken out half of them by herself. I really need to train up but first my mission. If stealth is how we are going to accomplish the next mission how are we going to go about getting past the sand vipers?? Taikaru pondered in her head for a moment. She realized that they could sense you walking on the ground and would kill you easily by ground assault. ?What to do though? I?ve no idea what the new vipers are like but I will get the hang of them.? Taikaru laid down on her bed silent for a moment until she a footsteps and the clink of metal on the floor. Taikaru got up slowly and walked towards the door. She opened it to see a perfect metallic replica of a griffin. ?Huh? Very precise.? She looked up and down the halls but there wasn?t anybody there. She closed the door and went back into her room. Reading the clock it was already 2:10 in the morning. ?I really need some sleep.? Taikaru laid her head down and began to fall asleep. -Next morning The sound of her alarm buzzed only for a few short seconds before Taikaru turned it off. She got up with her hair all a mess and washed up in the bathroom. She got into the shower and took a quick one at that prepared for the mission in a few hours. She groomed her hair and fastened on her ?work? clothes. Zipping up her black leather suit she looked in the mirror for anything else and bolted out. She opened her door quietly to not awake any other team mates who haven?t woken up. Reading her clock one last time before she left it read 8:07am. Taikaru walked down the hallway of their quarters and turned to the left. Down that hall there was an open door with the label over it that read ?Mess Hall?. Taikaru walked in and got some breakfast. She grabbed an egg, some toast, and milk and sat over on one of the tables placed throughout the room. Nobody else was up but Taikaru did realize it was 8:10. She kept repeating in her head that the mission would start at noon. She kept this in mind because she had till noon to get information on sand vipers. *With the information Netishima gave me on these new brand of vipers I think nobody else than Alex would know about them. I wonder why Red choose me to be team leader and not her. It seems illogical but what Red says doesn?t matter. I will hand over my position to someone with more qualification than me. After all what does team leader matter. She knows more about the new and improved creatures than any of us.* Taikaru thought to herself as she ate her breakfast. Soon enough a few members straggled by but none were Alex. Taikaru got up and strayed down the hallway she just came through towards the training rooms. There she went into training room three and turned on the settings from the control panel. She turned off the electric field but kept on the termination protocol if you get hit lethally. ?Alright how tough are you?? Taikaru said as she generated two vipers with modern intelligence. It took a look at her and quickly went under ground. In a few seconds the viper was right underneath her and it struck. Taikaru staggered but managed to jump sloppily over to the left. There the viper turned course and the program terminated. A computer voice called out ?You have just been eliminated.? Taikaru restarted the program with one viper, noticing it took only one to defeat her. She turned it on and only one generated in front of her. Again it went under ground and struck from beneath. She jumped to the left this time attaching to the wall using her shadow melding. The viper struck again with supreme accuracy but Taikaru nearly was hit. She managed to jump to her feet on the floor behind the viper. The viper then circled around her giving her an almost impossible retreat. The viper struck and Taikaru dodged again but now she was beginning to run low on energy. She could feel the intensity of the fight growing. With it?s head still buried in its body it went under ground again. This time Taikaru jumped but the viper came from the wall where she jumped to. Once again the program was terminated and the computer said ?You have just been eliminated.? ?These things are extremely adaptable to their environment and the movements of their enemies. If this is just one viper what would a whole pack do?? Taikaru shivered at the thought and turned on the program again. This time she was aiming for a full assault. She materialized a razor sharp whip and was ready for the snake. The viper then came through the wall to her left and lunged for Taikaru. Taikaru tried to make a snap at the snake but it had once again went under before she could get the neck with the whip. The snake came out from beneath her this time. She nimbly jumped out of the way and hooked the end of the viper slicing of the tail end. ?That will do no good. I need faster reaction time!? Taikaru said as the viper came out of the ground in front of her. It lunged for her but this time Taikaru managed the whip around the neck and sliced it right off with one good pull. The program ended and the computer was set back to normal status. ?I will have some trouble with these things.? Taikaru took one last look back at the room and left.[/SIZE][/COLOR] OOC: This is mostly just Taikaru so you can go ahead and get all caught up before the mission. I won?t start it until all of you are caught up and ready for it.

[SIZE=1][COLOR=Navy]Taikaru blended in with the wall for a short time. She knew the halls well enough to get around. When she came out of traveling through the use of shadow melding she noticed Alex was already there. *Well beat me here.* Taikaru thought. Before Taikaru could go over by Alex a member approached her. He talked about things such as age. She paid real attention to the last statement he said. "Now, judging you know the people that work here so well, you have been doing this.... Sort of a job for awhile. How strong are these things really?" Taikaru walked over by the two. ?If you really want to know why not ask me? I?ve came upon these creatures more than Alex. But I guess she could give you details of our last mission.? ?Oh Taikaru. No you go ahead. I?ll sit here and drink my water before getting to training.? ?Alright then how strong are these things?? Leon asked. ?These things are actually quite amazing as far as intelligence goes. It seems that they almost have the brain and thinking power of humans. I?ve encountered sand vipers, vampires, werewolves, zombies, gargoyles, etc? I urge you not to pick a fight with a sand viper. Those things that have almost an instant killing bite. Recollecting my knowledge on vampires and werewolves they had a civil war in London.? ?So I see. They do have fights with in their own species.? ?Yes they seem to usually fight over who controls what land. Yet I?ve only heard of vampires and werewolves talking. They are the only ones that I?ve actually talked to. They are crafty and over the years of hiding and staying out of the way it seems that these creatures could be even more intelligent.? ?So in other words you?re saying that these are like dealing with intense human intelligence.? ?Yes it seems they can cope with any situation. They were quite powerful back then and they will be even more powerful now. So why don?t we head in and train up?? ?Good idea.? Alex said finishing up her water. ?I?ll get things started up.? Alex went in and Leon followed along with Taikaru. Inside was absolutely dark. A few controls and Alex lit up the room. It was a big dome like structure. ?So these are the training areas. It is bigger than I thought.? ?Actually this is quite small compared to room four and five.? Alex said powering up the AI. ?I?ll start us off with some target practice.? Alex clicked one button and some targets popped up around the room. Taikaru pulled out her pistols and started firing at a few moving targets. She knocked out four for five targets. ?I?m a little sluggish. I?m still trying to get my vision still from unfreezing.? Leon tried next using his chi to knock out two stationary targets and three moving. ?Hmmm chi rather effective.? Taikaru said observing the targets being destroyed as he put his fists out. ?Even if you use chi you still deplete your energy. Not so effective if you?re going on a stealth mission but highly effective against hordes of zombies.? ?I intend not to drain my power so quickly on this mission.? Leon said thinking if Taikaru was belittling his powers or not. ?Alright guys time for holograms of the creatures. I will start us off with the vipers from twenty years ago.? Alex flicked a switch and the holograms were turned on. A few options were scrolled through and finally the vipers appeared. ?These are holograms but if you do get hit by them the chamber will generate a shock to hurt you.? The vipers came closer and Taikaru got to work. She melded into the ground while Leon was preparing for a fight. ?Alright Taikaru we?ll take them out one by-Taikaru?? Leon looked back and there was no Taikaru. ?Looks like I?m on my own for the vipers.? Leon said readying his chi. ?No you aren?t? Taikaru said coming out of the shadows of the ceiling. She looked almost demonic charging at the vipers. She slashed through one using her dagger and slashed up another pretty bad with a materialized sharp whip out of the shadows. The last viper left was taken out with a good swift punch. ?What was that?? Leon asked seeing the holographic images disappearing. ?That is the art of shadow melding. I can either blend into the shadows or create weaponry out of it. Unfortunately each time I have to kill something it drains my power depending on how strong the weapons are.? Taikaru said while walking back from the middle of the training room. ?So any more questions?? Taikaru asked. ?No you proved enough.? Leon said while Alex set the next setting. ?This you will need me for. These are going to be vampires with the applied knowledge over time.? Alex said setting the settings. After she hit a button on the controls she backed away from them as fifteen vampires came out of the space in the room. ?I should warn you that these vampires now kill their victims first then drink their blood.? ?That?s good to know.? Taikaru said as the vampires came at them. Alex started jumping and dodging like a true professional while Leon started to punch them out. Taikaru took out her blade again and went for shadow melding. Coming out of various areas she got a good five of them. Leon took out six while Alex took out four. ?Not so bad.? Taikaru said. ?True but you won?t have anywhere to come out of so you won?t be able to retreat when you shadow meld.? ?Ya a few of them slashed my face pretty bad. Got a nasty shock.? Taikaru said rubbing her face. ?Here let me fix that.? Alex said holding our her hands to Taikaru?s head. In a few seconds Taikaru didn?t feel as stunned. ?Thanks Alex.? ?No problem. But I think that is enough training. It took us awhile to take out the vampires.? Alex said shutting down the system. Taikaru, Leon, and Alex didn?t realize they had started to perspire so much until they checked. ?I guess shadow melding will take a lot out of me.? Taikaru said leaning against the wall for a second. ?You guys go on ahead I?ll go and keep training for a bit here.? Taikaru said as they headed towards the door. ?Alright see you tomorrow.? Alex said as she left through the door. Taikaru was left alone in the training room. ?Alex has grown. I can see that she has matured. She doesn?t look 42 though.? Taikaru sat by the controls a moment. ?It has been awhile since I faced off against one of these monsters. I remember the virus that I got well. First one to tell me was Mr. Netishima. I wonder how he has been doing. In fact I should contact him.? Taikaru looked at the controls and turned off the system. She left the room and headed for her quarters. She passed training room 4. Even if it was a big room she heard the sounds of shouting and anger in there. ?I wonder what they are shouting about?? Taikaru walked on and went passed a few other rooms in a hallway. At the end was a room marked with her name. She went through the door and found her stuff that was taken and held in the cryogenics chamber until her return. ?Where is it?? Taikaru said while shuffling through her things. She finally found what she was looking for. She sat down on her bed with her video intercom and contacted the number. There was a slight sound of the ringing but it was finally picked up. ?Hello? Whose this?? A unfamiliar voice called. Suddenly the video feed had a younger man in front of it. ?This is Taikaru. I?m a friend of Mr. Netishima.? ?Oh yes Mr. Netishima. I?ll grab him in fact he is coming this way.? The younger man went off the screen for a bit and an older, more familiar voice, was in the background. ?What is it now Nathan?? Then she heard small whispers and on the video feed an old version of Mr. Netishima popped up. ?Taikaru it has been twenty years how has it been?? He said with a happy face. ?Well I?ve been cold for awhile. I just came out a few hours ago. You still work there even now.? ?Yep the Mars Research Center HQ gave me an assistant. Don?t mind him he has just began here. So what are you doing now?? ?I?ve been given a mission filled with vipers. I need the current stats on the vipers right now.? ?Oh yes those things have gotten a lot stronger. Here I?m sending stats over now.? The information scrolled across the screen. She read it quickly and got back to the doc. ?Well I need some rest for my mission. I?ll have to go now.? ?Alright Taikaru. Call any time.? Netishima closed the video feed and the video intercom went silent. She set it down and sat on the bed for awhile. Taikaru stared off into the room looking around. ?Tomorrow we will be going on our first mission for twenty years. I think I will take a walk.? As she got up Taikaru noticed the digital clocked read 8:30pm. ?Nothing better than a night time stroll.? Taikaru got up and walked towards the door. Down the hall she heard the voices of others so she went and shadow melded again even though she used it a lot already. Her powers were almost diminished when she reached the elevator to ground level. She stepped in and went up to the ground level. The doors opened and she looked around. The city was just as it was twenty years ago. She walked around the building and came to a huge public area. There were many people walking the streets and Taikaru went and joined them. She went by a few stories and even a hotel that she recognized. Yet, when she seen the hotel filled here eyes with tears again. She held them back the best of her ability. After walking around for a bit she came back to the building her team mates were located at. She came to the door and opened the door quietly. She turned the corner to the elevator where she saw Hikari. ?So you couldn?t stay either.? ?Just keep on walking. I?ve got some problems to deal with.? Taikaru nodded but wasn?t settled. ?I used to know someone like you but it is not my place to judge your attitude.? Taikaru said as she went down in the elevator. She walked from the elevator down a few long corridors. It felt so lonely down here but she knew she would soon find friends. ?It was never like me to accept people so much. I guess I was taught otherwise when I met Farel.? Taikaru said while she was walking down the last corridor. ?I?ve never believed in working as a team nor as a functional one. I guess I was just proved wrong and I?m happy for it.? Taikaru went into her bedroom where she sat down on her bed. She laid down and didn?t fall asleep. It was getting late. The clock read 10:59pm. ?Why am I in such deep thought? What is in the past stays in the past.? Taikaru rolled over and still tried getting to sleep. ?I last saw him when I was beginning to get frozen.? Taikaru said.[/COLOR][/SIZE] OOC: A little action from the past. If you guys still haven?t read any of the story before here a rundown. The base we are located at is underground and we are in New York. The first mission was in London battling vampires and werewolves. Sand vipers are extremely intelligent and will travel in packs. Finally zombies travel in hordes not as single lone zombies.

[SIZE=1][COLOR=Navy][B]Darkness Falls: Darkness Begins Again[/B] It has been twenty years after the last incident. The times of vampire?s and werewolves roaming the earth. Once it was true. But after these twenty years it has died down. The signs now point to another awakening of the Darkness. One that will come back twice as strong. Here is where we join the in the year of 2224. The first incident ended twenty years ago. Now the unfreezing begins of the preserved Taikaru. ?Cryogenic chamber number 7a45b now beginning unfreezing process.? A computer called out. It took a few minutes but the ice finally thawed out a woman with black hair. ?Now beginning reanimation.? As she stumbled to her feet she spoke quietly to herself. After getting through the processes she stumbled to meet the scientists that unfroze her. ?Taikaru?? A scientist questions seeing if brain functions have returned to normal. ?Yes.? She said quietly. ?You will be debriefed as soon as we get you into some clothes please follow me.? The scientist walked her out. ?We?d like to begin you with the basics as soon as you are done dressing.? Taikaru nodded and walked into the dressing room. There she put on her undergarments and zipped up in a tight fitting leather jacket. She combed down her hair and came out looking exactly the way she used to look. ?If you are all set I would like to begin you with the basic rundown.? ?I?m ready doctor.? There was one of vampires and werewolves, their first mission. Another was one of zombies and a gargoyle creature, their last mission of the first few months. ?These are creatures that have been dealt with in the past. If you want further details please ask Alex or Taikaru here. These creatures have resurfaced and they are stronger. Along with a few new species they have been terrorizing the outback in Australia. This area used to be a extreme tourist attraction. The airport there is already dangerous so you will be sent a few miles away from there. I have a feeling other spots will be appearing shortly. I want you to take care of this situation as fast as possible. Here are a few things that you will be using. I?ve modded a few of these gun clips with some of Farel?s camouflage ability. As long as your holding on to these clips they will keep you invisible from the creatures eyes. Unfortunately they only last for about two hours. Also another obstacle to face is when you land. You will be dropped from one thousand feet in the air. We have sand vipers there that want a little revenge from what happened last time. One of them that we had captured on surveillance cameras had gouged out eyes and burnt skin. I believe this one was Lee?s almost kill. If it has survived for twenty years there is no telling the endurance of these animals. The second thing you will need to do is get a bomb detonated in the airport. You will need to put it near the hangers. This explosion is only big enough to take out one half of the airport but with the help of fuel cells in the planes and any storage there there will be a complete success of extinguishing the creatures to a reasonable some. Alright not exactly what I expected but what the heck. Now I will allow one more day to sign up and then I will put out this in the square tomorrow around 6'ish eastern time.
