1. Hello. My name is Lunai and I was wondering if anyone would be willing or able to make me an avatar and singature banner for OB using the image found here. If possible, could another avatar and signature banner be made using this image for another anime forum I belong to. On that forum I am also called Lunai and the size restrictions for avatars are 64 by 64 and for signature banners is 400 wide by 100 high. As far as fonts are concerned, anything in the cursive style is fine by me. Thank you very much, ~Caitlin Chiaki
2. I would date Gene Starwind from Outlaw Star...pertty much because he has a personality similar to the boyfriend I am currently dating.
3. Perhaps I've just been lucky, but the few poilce officers that I have known by name we're really bad guys. But from what I understand, most police officers do have something of a superiority complex. And it seems that the worst in what the police force has to offer (at least in the US) tend to work in areas where there are a lot of us minorities. Once, I had a friend whose father was a police psychologist who works in the Juvenile Division. What he said was that most cops have such a hard time trying to catch the criminals who have enough money to evade the law, that they take it out on us minorities, no matter how small the infraction. Personally, I think that the police forces in Northern California, especially here in the San Francisco Bay Area, do have too much power. There are numerous reports every year of officers going into schools and activities in which the participants are minors and doing serious harm and damage, with out thought to the fact that hte person they are beating up isn't even of age yet.
4. This is just like when my ex would ask me what would I do if I missed the Rapture. I'll tell you what I told him: I would much rather not be around when the world ends. But, if, perhaps, I am one of the unforutunates to see the end of the age of Mankind, I don't know what I would be doing - most likely something along the lines of living as a hermit on Mount Fuji - but I have some good ideas about whom I would like to be doing it with.
5. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex is airing on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim at 12am and 3am Sunday morning Eastern/Pacific times. There is a little biop on www.adultswim.com that tells you a bit about the main plot behind the series.
6. True love is something best looked at in retrospect (hindsight being 20-20 and all)...it's really hard to pin down whether you are in love when you aren't even out of high school. And even if you are in love, I would suggest that you test the waters before declaring that it might be "true" love. Spoken from someone who just go out of a relationship that lasted a little over a year.
7. Well, you really aren't able to tell him he "can't"...I know a few people who believe in Trinity who also believe in the possilbilty of reincarnation. What you are saying is that there is no Christian doctrine that allows for reincarnation - but I have yet to read anything in the Bible that tells me that anyone cannot take ideas from other cultures and incorporate them in their faith. Last time I checked, the only ones telling me I couldn't do that was the Church itself.
8. Well, I don't know about most of you but I grew up in a somewhat metally abusive environment. My godmother made me feel as if I didn't do anything right, even though I was getting As and Bs while I was in school. As far as housework went...one teenager in a house full of 7 adults and I was the only person who would wash dishes. My mother, on the other hand, is a totally different story. Neither of us like to clean, but we're both trying to get in the habit (especially since I've started seeing someone who is in the millitary), but other than that she never makes me feel as if I'm not good enough...she just wants me to be happy, and learn what life is about for myself. Otherwise I might be having a worse time of it right now at the age of 20.
9. I think he is someone who knows what it takes in order to make alot of money. I am not sure whether I think it's talent or not...but I am sure that I am quite tired of seeing him whenever I watch music videos.
