God I love Incubus. The songs have that great, off beat rock sound with lyrics you can relate too. I can't wait until they have some more new stuff come out. Let's see, my faves..."Warning", "Pardon Me", "Drive", "Nice to Know You", and my all time fave, "Wish You Were Here". --Chris

It's all about Wolverine, but only with the adamantium (bone claws? ugh...). C'mon, he's short, he's scrappy, he's hairy, and somehow he always gets the girl! Not to mention he was played by Hugh Jackman in the movie, who is a phenomanal actor... Everyone go see X2 this summer! --Chris

Yeah, it did have some very original charachters, and the story was great. I really liked that it took the game back to the classic settings of the first FF's by throwing it in a more medieval type setting and bringing back the Jobs system. Overall, the game was great, though it did have a tendency to get really tough really fast if you didn't level up. --Chris

Geez, you think she'd at least ask before she messed with your music? She does like the band, right? Anways, like everyone else has said, you need to talk to her. I'm sure it's just some little misunderstanding or someting or other. --Chris

Well, it really all depends on who you are. People like me don't mind most of them, seeing as how they do a great deal of helping. I am a little disturbed by the thought of cloning though. Are we really ready to start this? Watch any Sci-Fi movie and you'll probably see what I mean. --Chris

Anime How Did Goku Get His Tail Back in DBGT??!!
JCBaggee replied to JCBaggee's topic in Otaku Central
I believe that's right. I rememebr hearing something about Old Kai trying to pull out his tail with a giant pair of tweezers... --Chris -
Let's keep in mind that Goku spent time sightseeing with King Kai, then participated in the Other World Tournament. That occupied the seven years in which he was dead on Earth and Gohan grew to maturity (remember? the time is different in the Other World), so he never had the chance. If you'd left Goku up there without the Grand Kai, the Tournament, or the promise of a temporary return to Earth, I'm sure he would have eventually sought out Grandpa Gohan. --Chris

Eh...she's okay, I guess. I mean, by no means is she cruel or unusual most of the time, she's just a little flaky. Hmm...she and Roshi are both a little flaky...think it was their mother? --Chris
-
How could you not mention Bulma's biggest achievment: she did build the Dragon Radar, which means she found the energy signal of the Dragon Balls before anyone in the series, even master Martial Artist Master Roshi, ever did. --Chris

Geez, I'm gonna sound like an old fart writing this... When I was your age, I had a similar situation. Now, about 4 years later...I've moved on. She never found out how I felt about her (though, in retrospect, it was pretty obvious), but I've survived and actually learned something. Yeah, it sucked I didn't get to hang out with her, and we actually had a bit of a falling out, but once you're older, you'll look back and kinda question you're own heart...well, maybe. Anyhoo, the good news to this is, I went through it all and currently now have a beautiful girlfriend and a somewhat wonderful life, and I'm sure you'll wind up the with the same outcome eventually. Best of luck, either way. --Chris

Vegeta is, plain and simple, one of the best charachters in that series. Heck, his charachter was more interesting the plot half the time. --Chris

Ah, now I see. Thanks a lot. --J.C.

So, I finally beat FFIX (9 for the lamen) and I remembered hearing about multiple endings, with only one being the good ending. In the one I saw...
...Zidane goes back to save the injured Kuja, only to be nearly be killed. He reappears after "some time" (I figure 6 months at least since Dagger's hair is grown back) and he and Dagger are joyfully reunited on the stage of the new Tantalus...
...So...is that the good one? Oh, and if someone could PM me a synopsis of the other endings, I'd be much obliged, seeing as how I wouldn't have to play through the game again. --J.C.

"Second in order maybe, but in no means stature. Whatever your problem with Kakkarot, you face me now." --Vegeta, on his SSJ transformation, upon arrival on New Namek (Movie 6: The Return of Cooler) That's the correct quote... --J.C.
-
Yeah, watch two or three FUNi series and you'll notice several repeats. Watch YYH and DB and you'll notice Baba Yaga sounds a lot like Genkai.. --J.C.
-
Okay, this has been bothering me for a while...someone once told me that Goku got his tail back in DBGT when a Kai pulled it out, and now I'm hearing it was restored when he was wished to be a child by Pilaf. Could someone please tell me which one is right? --J.C.

Waitaminute. Will Inu Yasha be AWOL temporarily, or is it the end of the series? --J.C.

The releases of Trigun and Reign have yet to be announced by CN. As for LtIII coming on too late, just do what I do: tape it. --J.C.

"Hey, Goku, we've grown up together, right? Well...let's make sure we grow old together, get it?" --Krillin just before Goku's fight with Vegeta "Silence boy, who here is your father?! You claim Goku to be such a great hero in your time, so why not put your faith in him?! It is obvious that none of us here is stronger than Kakkarot...not even myself." --Vegeta, when Trunks suggests giving Goku a senzu bean to help him fight Cell "Gohan, he's tortured my family and friends all my life! Please Gohan...no matter what it takes...stop him!" --Trunks after his fatal blast by Cell (I think he said that...it may just be my imagination) --J.C.
-
Another thing, while in Ipsen's Castle, you'll see giant stone creatures named Epitaph. These suckers may appear invincible, but for an easy win, use a Soft on them. They will "become too soft to survive" and die. --J.C.
-
"What is it?! What could be holding him back! I don't get it! No...wait! Gohan! Forget about the Earth! All that damage can be repaired with the Dragon Balls, son, so just forget about the Earth!" --Goku, urging Gohan to strengthen his Kamehamea attack on Cell "Is that all you've got?" --The newly SS2 Gohan "Whatever your problem is with Kakkarot, I am your only concern now." --Vegeta, after saving Goku from Metal Cooler --J.C.

Oh, something else I just remembered... I believe (and for the love of God correct me if I'm wrong) there was a previous series. If focused mostly on Rally (though she went by a different name), and it may have introduced May early on as an enemy. Rally was more of a background charachter, though. I have no friggin' clue what the name was, and if someone knows, please tell me. Otherwise, I'm gonna have to dig through all my magazines tonight to try and find it! --J.C.

I think there's more, they just haven't shown it. In terms of anime, Action Channel has shown... episodes of Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo the aforementioned three episode Gun Smith Cats story X (which TMC and Showtime Beyond have been showing too) Tekken: The Motion Picture Twilight of the Dark Master Brave Grappler Baki Queen Emeraldas (or somethin' like that) Metropolis Akira Ghost in the Shell Bio-Hunter And I'm sure I've forgotten something... --J.C. Please keep on topic. No where in this post mentions anything about Gun Smith Cats. -Syk3
