I hate fighting, mainly because I'm simply not built for it. Plus, it's almost certain to happen in a public place...too many innocent people around to get hurt in the process. If you've got to fight, make sure it's a cause you believe in: protect a loved one, save a life...don't do it just because they hit you first. --J.C.

I could have swore I read somewhere there was a first season to the series...it focused on Yugi solving the puzzle...the Duelist Kingdom and whatnot was the second and part of the third season...oh, well, maybe I'm wrong... --J.C.

'sall right... As for the whole Mystic/Super Saiyan Power deal, I think Piccolo pointed out in the series that they could sense Gohan was stronger than he'd ever been, even though he wasn't a Super Saiyan. Plus, seeing as how Mystic overrode the SS transformation, it's pretty much impossible for him to transform. Oh, and I believe ~Mystic~ asked why Gohan didn't transform in DBGT...I'm pretty sure he retired from the fighting scene. --J.C.

On this horrorful day, what is your purpose?
JCBaggee replied to Mitch's topic in General Discussion
Well, the church is doing a thing at a local park tonight...all the little kids can come by and get loads of candy, and food, and play games, and go on a hay ride...I guess I'm helping, I'm not really sure. --J.C. -
I just couldn't imagine it...they would always be right...*shudder --J.C.

I just picked up on Mobile Fighter G Gundam, and I was wondering what everyone else thought about it...I'm a wee bit hooked up on it, even though it is dubbed and chopped up for the censors. The actions pretty cool, though I could live without seeing Neo Mexico's Gundam or hearing Chibbadee's(sp?) dubbing. What do you guys think? --J.C.

I use a team of Jin Kazuma and Bryan Fury when I play Tekken Tag Tournament, and one of them when I play Tekken 3...I haven't had much time with Tekken 4, though, since I'm short one PS2. I'd rate myself a 9.5 with Jin and about an 8.0 with Bryan. --J.C.

I was watching "Asteroid Blues" the other day...I'd kinda like to hear Chevelle's "The Red" at some time...just seems to fit the whole plot, what with the Bloody Eye and all that... --J.C.

Well, they already have some, but it wouldn't hurt to change the images. Does anyone know if they used those in the first season of the series (ya know...the part we never got...grr!)? --J.C.

Love the new song! And I can't wait to get the album! I'm still loving "Supernatural", especially "Put You Lights On"...it's just such a deep CD with some awesome tracks. --J.C.

God, that sucks. Both my grandmothers and one of my grandfathers all died form some form of cancer. It's a cruel thing, and it really hurts. My grandfather and my grandmother died when I was really young, so I have no memory of who they are, and my grandmother died when I was too far away to have spent some time with her before hand...just a week before she died, then a few days to come back for the funeral. I wish your grandmother the best of luck, and pray for her and the entire family. --J.C.

Well, Panny, my perfect mate was you, until you married this NorykoAngelcry guy...*tear...^_- Anyhoo, it is possible to find a perfect mate, but a flaw must be what ultimatly makes one perfect, right? I can't say I've had much experience with love and whatnot, but I do know that I'd hate to be with someone who was perfect... --J.C.

Anime why does buu (full) keep popping his neck?
JCBaggee replied to Will2x's topic in Otaku Central
Or maybe it's just another writer error. ^_^ --J.C. -

Actually, it overrides the Super Saiyan transformation, remember? He said "Just do that Super Saiyan thing you do and believe". --J.C.

Actually, it's Akira Toriyama... --J.C.

First off, I've read this on a great many sites: some official, some fan. I cannot guarantee 100% accuracy with this, but it's pretty darn close. Oh, and one more thing... SPOILERS!!!! Gohan whoops the poo out of Buu (Hey, a rhyme!) and the group flies off. Buu, surprisingly, returns and absorbs Gotenks and Piccolo, and is then plenty strong enough to defeat Gohan, even with the power up. Now, on the world of the Kais, Goku is freaking out and has had enough. The Elder Kai then sacrifices his life so that Goku may return to Earth and gives Goku the Potara Earrings(sp?), which allow him to fuse with anyone. The catch? The fusion is permanent. So, Goku heads to Earth to fuse with Gohan. On Earth, Goku throws one Earring to Gohan, but he drops it. While Gohan is searching, Buu absorbs him. Suddenly, Goku senses something. He takes up the Earring and teleports away. Vegeta has managed to bargain his way back to Earth. Goku finally convinces Vegeta how big a threat Buu is and tells him about Trunks and Bulma. Vegeta, despite his pride, agrees to fuse with Goku, fusing into the strongest charachter in the series, Vegetto. Vegetto more than holds his own against Buu, but Buu turns him into a jawbreaker and consumes him. However, inside, Vegetto lives on. Somehow, he manages to seperate back into Goku and Vegeta (the physics inside of Buu are different, allowing the two to defuse). Inside, they face some weird stuff and rescue their friends before escaping. Outside, Vegeta stalls Buu while Goku forms the biggest Genki Dama (Spirit Bomb if you're a FUNi head) you ever saw. When Goku has poured every ounce of energy he can muster into it, he lets it loose, but Buu is able to counter it. When it looks like all hope is lost, Dende uses the Dragon Balls to wish for Goku to be restored to full energy. With renewed strength, Goku powers up the Genki Dama even more and obliterates Buu. Afterwards, the Dragon Balls are used to restore everyone. Goku, his life restored thanks to the Elder Kai, is able to remain on Earth and Vegeta is wished back. Ten years pass, Gohan and Videl have a child, and the series ends. --J.C.

Anime Things you'd never hear on DragonBall-Z
JCBaggee replied to MasterSaiyan's topic in Otaku Central
Sorry if these were done and I missed them... Piccolo: That power! It's...so...warm and fuzzy! Like a teddy bear! *smiles and giggles --------------------------- Goku: Gasp! That power! I've never felt anything like it be...no, wait. Actually, I have. --J.C. -
That would be General/Mercenary Tao (He's Mercenary Tao in DB and General Tao in DBZ). He just got introduced today at the end of the episode. Anyhoo, I don't think they fought in a tournament. He was brought in by Supreme Commander Red to dispose of Goku and reclaim the Dragon Balls he had taken from the previous RRA members. --J.C.
-
Eh, they're alright. Not the best, but not the worst. --J.C.
-
I heard Vegetto was so strong because Toriyama himself said Vegetto was the strongest charachter in the series. That's good enough for me. ^_- --J.C.

o_0 What the heck are you talking about...? --J.C.

I'm betting Kame or someone taught him later on. Towards the end of DB, Goku goes to the Lookout to train with Kame. It's mentioned quite often in the Saiyan Saga. --J.C.

Let's see... You could memorize my website! You could post on my message board! You could master a well-known RPG! You could master an obscure RPG! And I'm sure there's more, but I'll tell you when I think about it... --J.C.
